A huge thank you to Danielle for allowing us to stay in her beautiful home! The house is so thoughtfully and elegantly decorated that it truly felt like we were abroad. There was more than enough space for our group of 10 adults, and the facilities were incredible — from the pool and gym to the sauna and even croquet. The home is set in the countryside with stunning views and plenty of land to explore. Danielle was so friendly upon our arrival, giving us a warm welcome and a tour of the property, and she was very easy to communicate with both before and during our stay. I would absolutely reco...more
It was well equipped and clean. The owners were friendly and helptul. Lovely views sitting outside. It was a good location for several local attractions.
The house was so light and airy, fabulous quirky décor, sociable open plan kitchen living area. Super views right across Margate sea pool, beach & harbour. Location excellent right on the Prom (direct access w gate key) only short walk to everything in Margate town centre. Being on private road it was very quiet, literally lie in bed & all you can hear are the waves. We were lucky with a very hot week, so glass doors at the back open all the time on to lovely patio garden with hot tub. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at Bedgebury Oast, the house was wonderful and in a very secluded and pretty location. The house had everything you could need and we really appreciated the little basket of goodies left for our arrival. A wonderful well kept house that has been maintained exceptionally well. Bloom Stays were excellent in making sure we were taken care of and accommodating our requests. Would not hesitate to book again
From the moment we arrived, everything about this luxury cottage exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was impeccable – from the beautiful decor and high-end finishes to the thoughtful little touches that made us feel instantly at home. The cottage was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and the garden is beautiful! We’ve stayed in 100s of Airbnb’s over the years and not one has come close to the exceptional quality of Rose Lodge. The Customer service we received from Bloom Stays was flawless. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pe...more
We had a delightful stay in the Garden Room. So peaceful and spacious. The bi-folding doors to the garden were a perfect touch - along with the comfortable bed and great coffee machine. Highly recommend!
Booked the property to be close to the sea, and yep you cannot get closer! House worked really well for a multigenerational family weekend away, lift and comfy seat with prime viewing spot over the beach for mobility impaired mother and comfy rooms, sofas and large tables for gathering around, roof terrace offered superb views across the channel. It is within easy walk of the harbour and all the eateries / bars and creative quarter, perfect for a weekend nose around a place we have never visited, we will be back!
The cottage was perfect, it had everything needed to have a home away from home. The location was also perfect. Julia from Ireland
The property and gardens are beautiful and from the moment we arrived, we started to relax. Thank you to the owner for being so helpful and we would definitely stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I was working locally and was lucky enough to find the Wonky House for us to stay in with colleagues. It was beautiful presented, perfectly equipped and in a fabulous location. Vicky provided thoughtful touches to make our stay special. Fresh flowers and wine were very gratefully received! The house is stunning and surrounded by quirky shops and restaurants. I am really hoping to be able to come and stay again. Thank you for making our trip to Rochester so special.
Beautifully presented historic building, rural location, personal touches. Made me feel very special!
We had a very pleasant stay in the lovely renovated train carriage. The owners are very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The small garden is nice and quiet for a morning coffee or evening drink. The center of Canterbury is only a 20 min walk and is well worth a visit.
Lovely place, very spacious for two and well equipped in quiet location good for exploring surrounding area.Friendly hosts
great house, everything you need is there, and even a south facing seating area outside, and great for the miniature railway the pub and the beach
Amazing location and renovation of the buildings. Swimming pool was great and the seclusion away from the road was excellent for the kids and dogs. Sofa bed was small for two adults, could be a bit sturdier.
This is a lovely place to stay, lovely house with great views over the channel. Will definitely be returning in the near future
We rented the complex for 29 family members to celebrate a birthday. Age ranges from & 8 months to 70 years. We had a fantastic time and the good weather allowed us to use every facility. We used outside catering, some recommended by Bloom Stays. The Barn is so well equipped and clean. The fridges could prob do with updating to include an ice and water facility. The cottages were great. The Oast house was very clean comfortable but probably in need of some updating. If the weather wasn’t great, the indoor space is really good in the Barn. A big comfortable snug area and lots of dining ...more
Perry Farm is a stunning place. The house is spacious, featuring two very cozy living rooms and a beautiful kitchen. The gardens are also truly spectacular. The only downside is that the sofa bed isn’t suitable for two adults. Additionally, the double beds are quite small, making them more comfortable for couples than for friends. That said, we had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again in the future.
Our stay was just perfect in every way (yes!....lucky enough to have fabulous weather too!) Even more lovely than expected and so peaceful with stunning views from bedrooms and lounge/large lounge balcony. Beautifully designed with a fresh nautical theme but not over 'done'. Spacious, airy and beautifully positioned for Sandgate to Hythe one way and Folkestone the other
Great location & very comfortable, we had a fabulous, relaxing break. Amazing view from the balcony & in easy walking distance of the Harbour Arm & Mermaid beach which was great for swimming. Thank you for the thoughtful welcome basket of treats & the drinks in the fridge which were a really nice touch.
Location for us was perfect. The loft was well appointed and very comfortable and the hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. We would definitely recommend the Motor House Loft to anyone wanting to explore this area.
The Oast and cottages were just lovely. Quant, cute and typical English feel to them. The communication from start to finish was amazing. The housekeeper, was particularly easy to communicate with and was very helpful and friendly. Would definitley recommend and will be looking to book another one of Blooms properties.
This was our third visit to Bushes Oast which speaks volumes. The property is spacious, well furnished and really comfortable. We do cook nearly all our meals in the kitchen which is really well equipped, so we did notice the scales had a low battery. Minor but inconvenient. Jan and her husband, however, appeared very quickly to sort them out. We return because their standards are so high and because of the utter peace and tranquillity of the location.
Went for my daughters birthday, the weather wasn't great so we couldn't enjoy the grounds. We had to ask for tennis rackets and balls to play tennis, but they responded in a couple of hours. Overall the house was beautiful and clean and views of the surrounding land made it a very pleasant stay.
A wonderful place to celebrate my 80th with all the family. Everything we could ask for in the house, very clean & in a lovely situation with incredible views.. The house has loads of amenities football game swingball & beach boules were especially enjoyed by all, plus lovely walks in on the beach, so special to have it so close. We were very lucky with the weather so used the bbq & ate outside each evening. Excellent service from Bloom Stays too. Thank you!
We had a lovely holiday in Sandgate and the owner of the house was really the sweetest! Could not recommend more with dogs! The house was absolutely perfect with a lovely sea view. The lower score on the 'condition' is just about the fact that the house is a bit older, which has a lovely charm, and has some wear and tear, but however it's perfectly clean! We actually met the lady who cleans the house and Oh My, I would hire her directly! The shower drain was absolutely spotless, which never happens in rentals! So to summarize: LOVELY STAY AND LOVELY OWNER!
Everything you could want for your stay. very private garden and very quiet and peaceful. Quite a bit from the main road but an ideal location for visiting the area
Absolutely phenomenal! Sonia and Lee were absolutely amazing, so accommodating and attentive. The property was extremely clean, spacious and cozy! Little details like having an Alexa in each room was fun. The hot tub was fab and the views from the terrace was even better! Loved it ! Thank you x
A beautiful place to stay. There was nothing we lacked for. A new outside seating bench or table is needed but we mentioned this direct to the owners. However this did not spoil our stay
My family loved this stay at The Old Schoolroom. A beautiful house, very comfortable and well equipped with lots of charm and character.
As you arrive down this hidden a way sandy track of a road, rolling along on sandy waves to the most perfect destination. This is the best bit of Camber if like us you want to avoid hilly climbs up sand dunes. It is a flat walk to the beach and takes but a minute. Lark Rise is a tardis of a building, you walk into a huge open plan kitchen, dining, living room. You feel as if you have been transported to Montauk. The peaceful garden has a perfect “end of garden” cabin, a little ( actually not so little ! ) self contained studio. A hot tub bubbling away ready to invite you in. It has eve...more
We found the House tastefully decorated, perfectly equipped and immaculately clean. The garden ist a dream and especially our children loved it. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year.
Just go you won’t be disappointed… hot tub great beer & the kind of food to have with a beer. The wife loved the hot tub I think it’s the bubbles a jets get her a bit excitable. Lucky for me Will definitely return soon.
This was our second visit to Samphire, we so love this cottage. There is everything that you need, it’s in a great location, beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We will be returning next year.
What an amazing place to stay! The house is stunning and the views are incredible. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook up a large family meal. We loved the additional kitchenette on the first floor which meant we could make tea and warm baby bottles without needing to go downstairs. The master bedroom was the highlight for us and waking up to watch the sunrise over the horizon over the sea was a beautiful experience. The house was big enough to make sure that we all had space without being on top of each other, but could also spend lots of quality family t...more
We had such an amazing stay with Brian and Sara being such helpful amazing hosts. The house had everything you could ask for and was so well thought out. We’ll definitely stay again!
Wow, what a stunning view! And the house was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We hired for a 50th celebration and had a private chef to cook for us which was amazing. The English coast path is accessible from the house and you can walk straight into Folkestone. Communication with Bloom Stay was easy and they were always on hand to answer questions. All in all, a fabulous weekend
Stunning property in a lovely rural location. Convenient for Canterbury. Host was helpful. Will definitely use again.
The hosts have created a charming little bolt hole at Pebbles. It was perfect for a romantic getaway, with plenty to do in both Sandgate and Folkestone. We loved it, and hope to be back one day!
We had a really wonderful stay in the huts which had been beautifully decorated for Christmas. We'd love to go back!
From the moment of booking, the experience of interacting with Bloom Stays was lush. From the detailed preparation information to the welcome text, they have considered every part of your journey. The hut itself was stunning and had everything you could need for a comfy stay. Not to mention the stunning views and of course, all of the sheep. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to everyone.
We enjoyed every second in our lovely shepherd‘s hut. We loved being in the middle of the flock of sheep which we found extremely calming and relaxing. The hut is wonderfully decorated and eqipped with everything you might need. And a good starting point for hikes. A great time off!
We had a lovely stay in the hayloft, the weather wasn’t great, but still had a lovely relaxing time The hayloft is perfectly located to explore the Kent coast The owners were very attentive, but not intrusive
Thank you - we had a fantastic time and will definitely return! Host was responsive and very helpful, the local recommendations were perfect and we had the relaxing time we were after.
We stayed at this house between Christmas and New Year 2024/5 and had a wonderful stay. The house is very well equipped for a family and the location is brilliant. Thank you for hosting us - we hope to be back!
Excellent stay, our group spans 3 generations so the large lounge and seating areas were fabulous. John's handover was good with lots of information to assist us with our stay. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at the house. The kitchen is lovely and had lots of equipment. All the rooms were perfect!
Modern, well appointed 5 bedroom place. However, our stay was badly marred by a cockerel calling at 4am each morning. Windows could not be closed to block this out as it was so warm in the house as there is no air conditioning and the cooling side to the heat pump didn’t work. Showers are slippery and unsafe for elderly relatives. Not enough crockery and serving bowls etc for 8-10 people. Cinema room too hot to be able to comfortably sit and watch - aircon needed. Needs hooks in the bathrooms for towels and extra shelf unit to put wash bags etc in some bathrooms Small chair ...more
All great nice comfy bed, kitchen well fitted. Stayed for 4 days and wanted to stay longer. Short walk along the beach to town. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Had an issue with the shower but have been assured the maintenance guys are looking into this.
Upon opening the gates into the courtyard it has the wow factor. Four bedrooms, three with showers, fully modern kitchen, and large dinning table seating the eight of us. The hot tub was used every day by our two grand- daughters along with a separate games room with pool table, dart board and video machines. Every where we went was no more than 20/30 by car
A super house for our family gathering. Plenty of space for relaxing inside and out. Very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommend it.
The Nest is a beautiful, exceptionally well equipped, very comfortable cottage in a superb location. We spent a relaxing week walking along the beach, sitting in the garden, playing tennis on the court and visiting pubs, nature reserves and other places of interest. It is a place to use not just as a base for coming back after a day out, but also as a retreat in which to spend quality time, recharging. We would not hesitate to book again!
Southbeach is a lovely apartment in the perfect location in Hythe, close to the beach, park, town centre and military canal. Sal was a wonderful host and made sure everything was perfect. We were there a month but could have stayed a lot longer. Would highly recommend
A perfect holiday home with the added bonus of a great beach hut and hot tub. Excellent location for tankerton amenities, the beach and walking into whitstable. Will definitely be returning.
The house has beautiful views of the beach, a great outdoor space overlooking the beach and it's a really great space. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The bedrooms are lovely, all with en suites, the ground floor offers an open plan kitchen, diner and living space plus a reception room. We didn't use the basement but that was also a great space if you needed it. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.
The place was immaculate and perfectly suited to our family grouping of 15. Accessibility was great too for our 98 year old father. The kitchen is superbly stocked with a huge variety of utensils too which made life very easy. We used the large kitchen table for breakfasts as and when people emerged each morning, and then ate all together on the wonderful dining table each evening. The garden area was lovely for family games frisbee etc, and tennis court a great addition, though we did have to pop out to buy some balls. On one day we headed off to do go karting about 30 mins away. The gro...more
Lovely accommodation in one of my favourite places in the UK. I would highly recommend West Cottage to anyone who loves Dungeness or want to experience it's beauty for the first time.
Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting . Two days of doing nothing which we needed Loved using the hot tub and sitting outside enjoying the views . It was great being able to take our dog , and the enclosed garden was ideal . The accommodation is very nicely done and and comfortable.
Really cosy cottage Great location - near Whitstable, Canterbury .& Faversham Very comfortable lounge with log burner , great large chair with poof & large sofa
The property was very attractive and comfortable. The all en suite bedrooms were large and comfortable. The large living area and huge kitchen were excellent as was the balcony. The pool was superb with perfect temperature and the BBQs clean and well equipped. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Great holiday location for groups large or small
Ten of us stayed at Regency Beach house and all of us were blown away by how stunning the house is. It’s spacious, comfortable, full of interesting pictures, sculptures and bits and bobs, and has a lovely walled patio garden. The view from the grand lounge, with the French doors open is wonderful and relaxing. There’s a lovely dining room and a cool cinema room. (We had couples in double beds and one of them was smallish, but there were six useable bedrooms so we managed).
The house was spacious and so well equipped and we had plenty of different areas to stay the only negative was my elderly mother couldn’t get to the garden needs lower steps and bannister
Two of us plus our dog stayed for 3 nights. Nice quiet, isolated location with dog walks available from the place. Decently equipped so easy to cook at the premises. Great location for trips to Kent sites, e.g. Canterbury, Dover Castle…
We stopped for a few days for our sons graduation. it was a great apartment very clean and tidy and really close to the centre of Canterbury
Great accommodation in a lovely spot - or third visit!! We're planning on another stay next summer. You can't keep us away!
What a stunning place! From the very beginning, everything was just perfect—clear instructions, a spotlessly clean cottage, a fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need and even more, comfy beds, and amazing views all around. There even was a gift for a doggie :) I can't recommend it enough!
We had a brilliant family reunion celebrating 70th birthdays. The amazing house and superb location helped to make it a very special occasion.
Not the normal detached, remote rural property I usually opt for, but I'm glad that I chose this one. The booking process was easy, however on the final confirmation It would be good to have the key box code so you only have to find the last Bloom email. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised, the cottage was really lovely, plenty of comfort, excellent kitchen equipment and really, really comfy beds. Quality linen, towels and a heated bathroom floor, what more could you ask for! We really enjoyed our three days, the owner was really helpful and even delivered top up coffee pods to keep the ...more
Beadles is a beautiful property in Sandwich Bay, located at a nice quiet road, easy walking distance from the beach. The house feels historic with interesting elements to it. It felt spacious, accommodated comfortably 12 of us. The children loved the property, the garden, the playroom. It was a perfect house to host our extended family, get away together quality time.
Celebrating an early Thanksgiving, we wanted a house where our friends could come together, hang out, eat well and make the best of the Kent countryside. At Lower Standen Farmhouse we were all to do and enjoy all of these things. The house has been beautifully restored with the prize going to the wonderful kitchen/dining room. Surrounded by glass overlooking the lush garden, the views and colours are an ever-changing joy with the underfloor heating meaning that we spent most of our time here. No lonely feelings for our chef ..... she probably had more help this year than ever before! Bedrooms ...more
We had a superb week in Newenden in a spacious, neat and tidy house, certainly also thanks to the friendly owner who provided a lot of information and usefull tips to make our holiday even better.
The location was nice and cosy with everything what was needed for a comfort stay during holidays. We also enjoyed being in the garden just reading a book or enjoying the nature, because the neighborhood was really quiet. The location was close to supermarkets, which could be reached within only a couple of minutes by car. The beautiful Canterbury was also only a couple of minutes by car. A lot of nice places could be reached in short time, which was really nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot and had really nice holidays.
One of the best properties we have ever stayed at. Just a lovely, light-filled space with everything you could need and want (including the perfect sofa). Ok, if being really picky, a proper wooden spoon, more black bin bags and enclosure to keep our unpredictable rescue mutts at bay would have been good. . But, no, still the perfect holiday home.
The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable. Discretely decorated throughout in a seascape theme. Complimentary Prosecco, chocolates and biscuits very much appreciated.
What a beautiful stay , peaceful , everything you could need for a well needed escape . Staff excellent , surroundings wonderful , bar / restaurant fantastic . Can’t wait to go back .
It was our second time we’ve spent in Cornerways. The house is perfect located to visit Canterbury and the surroundings as well as London. It is located in a very quiet area of Canterbury directly to Westgate Gardens. The kitchen is really well equipped, the Bedrooms has enough space for up to 5 people and the living room has been improved with a new sofa and TV. The only thing what maybe could be improved in the house is the bathroom. For my father (83 years) it was difficult to have a shower in the bathtub. The garden of the house is really beautiful and we loved to have a rest on the...more
Amazing views over the Dungeness beach. Quirky accommodation with sunken bath and sauna. Comfy bed and pillows, quiet location. Great shower. The controls for the lighting are odd , they work OK but I never did completely figure it out... Overall a good place to stay for an unusual break.
We were extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and presentation of this accommodation. On arrival, the property was dusty and cobwebby throughout with spiders in nearly every corner of the rooms. It was apparent that it had not been dusted properly for a long time. The main living area floor appeared unswept, and the bathroom was particularly unhygienic, with faeces and hair left on the toilet. These issues were serious enough that the owner had to attend in person to address them. The bedrooms were overwhelmed by a strong, artificial floral scent that caused headaches and discomfort. ...more
It is a lovely property, superbly located. A couple of issues We would not book in the summer because of the 8 O'clock curfew. BBQ too small for 17 guests and feels like you are stopping people having a BBQ. It's a pity because the garden is also very nice.
The property is large, confortable and very well equipped. Its location is perfect, just behind the High Street and a short walking distance to the parks, canal and seafront. A minor improvement would be to increase the shower pressure. We very much enjoyed our stay there and hope to be back one day.
This is a fantastic property, beautifully designed and presented. Wonderful setting near the lighthouses on Dungeness. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our only suggestions would be more information on using the appliances and would be really helpful to have a washing machine (recognising the challenge of incorporating it into the beautiful fittings!!)
Lovely last minute olde world cottage with a modern twist when our original booking fell through. Very happy with our choice in this quiet and secluded cottage in the Kent countryside. Great bedroom and huge bathroom was a delight really enjoyed our stay. The limited headroom downstairs and the doors was not a problem for me as I’m only 4”11 whereas anyone taller like my partner who is 6” plus, might find it challenging.
We had a great time here for my boyfriends birthday. The hot tub is lovely and the surrounding area beautiful with lots of amenities. Feels very private even though you're next to 3 other huts. I'd really recommend it and will be coming back to stay
It was very nice and cosy. We spent wonderful days in Dungeness. The House offers a lot of Space and is well suited for 2 families.
Brilliant pool, whole family really loved it. Property functional, but very hot especially at night. Fans supplied, but not easiest to use. Cleanliness inside quite good, but outside balconies needed sweeping badly and clearly not done recently, which would have expected before our arrival.. No phone reception in Property but was aware of this before arrival, was great could use WhatsApp to contact bloom stays as we had issue with washing machine, and they dealt with it very quickly, great service, even though I am still awaiting my deposit refund. We would definitely recommend this prope...more
Our extended family of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) had a wonderful stay at the Canterbury Barn. The barn is beautifully decorated, with lots of space and stunning views of the Kent countryside. The children loved the hot tub and there was lots of room for them to play and run around. It was easy to get into Canterbury and the local areas. Thank you!
Everything from start to finish was excellent. The team at Bloom Stays have always been first class. The cottage is idyllic in it’s location and has everything provided for a perfect stay.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est exceptionnellement décorée et c’est un véritable coup de cœur.
We booked a same day trip and bloom were very responsive to confirm our stay within an hour or so. The property was very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and had useful local information. There were also a few books, games and toys that helped entertain the kids. The back garden was very pretty and the view over the sea at Sandgate from the sitting room lovely. Well located for local amenities and beach also close to Folkestone and Hythe where we enjoyed trips and the little train to Dungeness during our impromptu weekend.
We had an amazing stay at Sunray in Dungeness. The cottage was perfectly located right on the shingle beach, with beautiful views out to sea. It was a surprise weekend away for my husband’s birthday, shared with our family, and it couldn’t have been better. There was plenty of room for everyone, the beds were really comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. The outside space was lovely, and the pool table was a definite hit! It was such a peaceful, relaxing spot and a much-needed break for us all. Dungeness itself was fascinating to explore — we enjoyed walks around the local a...more
Lovely to be able to come and stay at Figgy again. Just noticed a slight deterioration all looking like it needs a decoration A big Freshen up needed. !! Painting etc. all looking.a little bit dull & grubby ! not quite clean enough for me. Didn’t get that feeling of clean. But I brought my own cleaning bits any way Still didn’t spoil my time with you. But I would be hesitant to rebook until TLC improvements have been made.
We stayed at Masketts Barn at the end of June for 4 nights. The Barn is huge, with 6 good size bedrooms, a large kitchen which is well equipped and has a tall fridge and a 5 drawer freezer which is in the utility area. The kitchen table seats 10. The two gardens are huge, one is a walled garden and the other overlooks the fields. There were 6 loungers and 2 tables with around 14 or so chairs in the garden, overlooking the fields. The one major issue we had (which I should have picked up on before booking) is that there is only 1 shower and there were 13 of us. I read it had 2 bathrooms w...more
The hut was just idyllic, and perfect for a couple of nights away. The view was beautiful and it was peaceful, we didn’t really hear any noise from the farm. The hot tub was amazing and so relaxing to just sit and look out onto the view. The bed was really comfy, and the hut had everything you needed for a short trip. The only thing which would have been great was the option for some sun loungers as it was really hot.
From the moment we arrived at El Ray, we were completely blown away. The house seamlessly blends the contemporary with the old fashioned (a train carriage kitchen) and every view from inside the house is considered and tasteful. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. With the beach on your doorstep and every comfort you could ask for, it is the perfect getaway.
We had a great time at this cottage, just what we wanted, a house in a very quite location but near the city of Canterbury with everything there, the house is very comfortable, loads of couches, a brand new kitchen, and the Hot tub was perfect we all set in in the morning and in the evening, we would love to come back soon.
we stayed for 5 days at this beautiful place. Perfect, comfort, charming. The house is well equiped and clean and cosy. It was excellent!
We’ve just returned from our second stay at Bunny Cottage in Saltwood, and once again, it was absolutely wonderful. Coming back felt like visiting an old friend—warm, familiar, and full of charm. The cottage is just as delightful as we remembered: beautifully kept, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished. Everything is spotless and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Saltwood itself is a lovely village, and Bunny Cottage is the ideal base to explore the surrounding countryside and coast. It’s rare to find a place that feels so welcoming and special, which is why we didn’...more
Very good equipped house with lovely enclosed garden. Without the following points of critique definitely a five star rating. Two points of critique: 1) There should have been a sound barrier between the M2 and the house to my opinion. The bushes simply don't cut the blocking on their own. We knew in advance the proximity of the highway but we did expect more measures would have been taken to bring down noise levels. I know it is impossible to make the noise completely disappear, but bringing it down by a certain amount of decibels would make using the garden more enjoyable. 2) There are ...more
Dungeness is a special place to stay and PS1 did not disappoint. The space was great and the windows to the rear framed the landscape beautifully. Excellent customer service from Bloom stays when something outside of their control occurred.
We stayed at Cavallo Barn from 25/02 to 17/03 We enjoyed the location, the quite and the kindness of the owners, always there to help. The apartment offered all the amenities advertised and all was in good working order. We would love to have the opportunity to go back one day. S & L Budroni
Seagulls is a stunning property with amazing views out to sea. It has some fantastic features, such as the large bedrooms and the incredible views. But we also felt there were some areas to improve for a luxury property. Whilst we were aware that the property was not the whole building, we were not aware that the owner lived below. We were particularly surprised to realise that she controlled the property heating, which we had to request to be turned on, which felt strange. The parking information also needs to be updated on the website as permits are not £2 per day and we were not offered...more
Fabulous historic house in an amazing location. Everything we needed was provided. Plenty of space for our family of four. Bloom Stays were very helpful with my last minute booking.
This lovely home is just great for a family holiday. The pool is always a winner with children (and adults when it gets hot!) and the games room provides a useful time filler for the more energetic! The bedrooms are all comfortable, kitchen well equipped and lots of break out spaces for those that like a little 'me time'. The BBQ, fire pit, fish pond and outdoor games all provided those little 'extras' that make a holiday memorable. We loved it!
The cottage was in a lovely quiet location, and perfectly located for exploring. Our main reason for visiting was to visit some of the zoos Kent has to offer and this was perfectly located for this, as we visited Port Lympne, Howletts, Wingham and Wildwood Kent during our stay. Really nice to have a property with a garden too. Lovely place.
My stay at The Homestead was amazing. The house was bigger and brighter than expected - all guests that arrived said the pictures do not do it justice. The place was well-equipped and the beds were very surprisingly comfortable. The location was beautiful and in a scenic area. I enjoyed a few cups of tea in the morning sun and at night looking up at the many stars. With the lovely weather we felt like we were further away from our homes in London 1-2 hours away. We went for a group walk to really take it in! Check-in was very quick with the host just requiring a call when we were on the way...more
Great staycation with exclusive use of swimming pool and tennis court. Lovely surroundings, quiet and calm atmosphere. The place is generally comfortable although the attic is too hot and stuffy to sleep even with the windows open. I would suggest the host provide a fan upstairs. Also there is no chopping board and sieve in the kitchen for self catering.
We had our 25th wedding anniversary getaway at Little Sunray Dungeness. The property was really great just as quirky as the photos implied but comfy and practical at the same time. So many seating areas to really make use of all the views. Very well equipped for cooking, baking, playing board games or watching films. Though we did none of these because it was all about the location for us: open the back door to the sound and smell of the sea. Next door to the Power Station which looks impressive by day or by night, The light house, the stream train, the nature reserve! Great for walks s...more
Picturesque cottage in the heart of the Kent countryside. The cottage was ideally located and had everything we required providing a quiet and peaceful short break.
It's a great flat. We love it and booked it for a second time. Only the "double" bed is a bit too small for Europeans. ;-) It is around 1,3 meter wide and, I guess, around 1,9m long. But nevertheless, I would still book this flat again, if we come back.
We enjoyed our short break in the Fog Signal Building very much. A fabulous location, great views of beach and sea, very comfortable bed and sofa. Plus easy parking. However, the conversion perhaps indicates that design was the priority rather than practicality. The strange lighting, the odd door mechanisms, the lack of any storage in the bedroom area, and of course, the lack of any curtains or blinds. Perhaps the biggest oddity was the bathroom with it's high sided and square wooden bath and shower arrangement. And only one loo role provided. The kitchen could also have benefitted fro...more
Great for our extended family. Gorgeous pool. Very comfortable and lovely large garden. Would highly recommend
