Great place to stay with family. Good and responsive host, good local area. The dove was a short walk, good food but only open a few days a week. So you have to drive everywhere but then it is only 15 mins to many great places

We loved our stay at the Old Post Office. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated with all amenities you need. The hot tub is a great treat too. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely stay at The Old post office in Dargate. The kitchen was so well equipped cooking a meal with my family was a pleasure. It was Christmas time and it was decorated beautifully with a real
Christmas tree in the lounge. It was well equipped we honestly didn’t need to take anything! The welcome back was very welcoming and had some lovely bits in. So well maintained. We are just so positive about our stay!! We couldn’t have asked for anything else. Thank You for making our New Year break so memorable!

A perfect stay this weekend with family, beautiful decor and so well equipped! The setting is delightful, and a great location. The owner was very responsive to messages - can’t fault anything!

Beautiful scenic stay in a luxurious feeling cottage. Elegantly put together rooms; comfortable and practical furniture and soft furnishings. Quality towels, extras for the hot tub plus great outdoor furniture. Really well thought through property and such a lovely stay. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful property that catered for all ages. Lovely local walks and pubs. We had a great time and enjoyed the hot tub!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the old post office
Everything was spotlessy clean .
The Garden was lovely and secure for our 2 dogs and views over the newly planted orchard are delightful
The Hot tub is a great asset ,but we did not use it
The Dove Inn a few moments walk down the road was a real delight and the walks from the door were very picturesque and enjoyable
The issue with one shower was fixed very quickly after we called so could not ask for more
The stairs were a bit of an issue for us at times as steep and the turn is tight
But as they say not getting any younger
We really did enjoy our stay and would definitely stay again, if in this area and would recommend to friends and family

Excellent communication with hosts throughout. Comfortable beds and deluxe bedding. List of rules sent via email/text/several times felt a bit intense, but I understand why they are there. Checkout time at 10 felt a bit early, either have a later checkout or earlier check in. No oil/salt/pepper/basic sauce etc, however we did get a welcome load of bread/tea/coffee. Hot tub towels provided. Lovely old building. No issues.

Thank you for your lovely review. We appreciate the guidance in relation to the hot tub may seem intense but it is there for the safety of all guests. Early check in and late check outs are offered where possible, however as explained these were not possible for your stay as there were other guests arriving on the day of your checkout. Salt and pepper are provided, so we will check this with the owner to ensure they are in place. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in the wonderful house and surroundings.

We enjoyed a perfect weekend at The Old Post Office for our annual Christmas “office party”.

The customer care was over and above & the house certainly didn’t disappoint. We even had snow so we felt like we were in a fairytale!
We had a lovely stroll up to The Dove for Christmas lunch which took only minutes and was delicious.

The only downside to the freezing temperatures was that, unfortunately, we didn’t get to enjoy the hot tub (we weren’t that brave) so that’ll have to wait until next time ;)

This property was stunning and definitely worth staying at.

Myself and my colleagues chose this property to be close to our work location in Faversham. The cottage dining room was perfect for setting up a basic office and we had everything we needed for a comfortable working environment with plenty of places to relax after a long day!

I would definitely recommend this property and we all left hoping we could come back for a holiday in the future!

Our party of 9 (ages 2-46!) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The amazing garden and games cupboard kept our small people entertained, and the hot tub and outdoor seating was perfect for the older, less energetic amongst us.
We enjoyed beach days at Whitstable & Tankerton, visits to the local castles, Bowling, walks at RSVP Blean Woods, The Lobster Shack and plenty of ice creams!!
The house is well equipped and Jamie was right on hand to help with any issues or queries.

The property is lovely and in a great location. We did however have trouble with the hot water running out which was a bit of an annoyance. However the property manager sorted the issue out very quickly. The ceilings are also very low though and we had a few sore heads by the end of the trip, however I would recommend this to my family and friends (the not so tall ones) :)

We have spoken to the owners regarding the hot water who have advised the house has a large pressurised hot water tank sufficient for the occupancy of the house, however if emptied will need a little time to reheat. We do hope your head isn't too sore from the low ceiling in the twin room!
