The house itself is as pretty as in the pictures. Large communal spaces for the whole family to gather around for meals, all the bedrooms are a great size with comfortable beds and the living room and snug are cosy for quiet evenings. The garden is amazing, even bigger and more beautiful than in the photos, with benches and seating dotted throughout to enjoy at your leisure.
We have stayed in Rye a few times, but had no idea that these roads existed - sitting just above the centre of Rye they feel like an oasis of calm, surrounded by fields and countryside all walkable from the property. The walk down the hill takes only 15 minutes to get into Rye itself, but slightly longer to walk back up! Use the alley ways to avoids the main road as much as possible.
Easy access to Camber without having to drive through the one way system of Rye a bonus, we are already talking about when to return!
