We loved it sooo much and had the best time. The decor is gorgeous, the beds were so comfy and we had everything we needed for a fabulous weekend :)

Only thing I would say is that the balconies needed a tiny refresh. There was lot's of bird poo on the glass on the balcony off from the kitchen and the larger balcony at the bottom could do with the hedge cutting and weeds removed down the stairs. These are really only minor things as overall it was perfect!

We had an amazing stay at Chequers and would absolutely book the house and other properties from Bloom Stays. The Bloom
Team were so helpful in the lead up, providing tips on restaurants and things to do in Rye. The house was absolutely stunning! We had all the necessities and equipment we needed for cooking and enjoying drinks on the terrace. It was a perfect location and stunning decor throughout. I particularly loved the eco essentials like the refillable brand ‘fill’ shower gel and shampoos and food waste bin!

We had such a lovely time staying at Chequer. The location was perfect, and the house itself was beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, which made it a real home away from home. We’d be very happy to stay again and highly recommend it.
