We loved our stay here and the house was beautifully equipped to cater for all ages from 8 to 78. The sea views were stunning, the house really comfortable and spacious and thoughtfully equipped. Highly recommend if you are looking for a memorable stay for a large group.

We had a fabulous weekend, went as a group of 12 friends for our annual early Christmas getaway. The house is beautiful, very clean, spacious and very well appointed. The beds were extremely comfortable. Such a perfect location right by the sea with incredible views. Would definitely book again.

This was an excellent choice of property for us ... a party of 11 with age range 7-79. Beautiful outlook, particularly from the main sitting room upstairs. There were plenty of areas to be together and good private space too. The house was clean and light and provided with everything you could possibly need! We didn't use the outside space as weather not suitable but the beach access was perfect .... so beach cricket, rounders and walks enjoyed! The cinema room was a useful standby for entertainment, especially for the children.
Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were, with good quality bedding. Another plus was great showers and plenty of hot water for all.
We would definitely stay there again ..... and hope to!!!

Ideal house for our holiday both in terms of location and facilities. A very large house with superb views from the lounge and top bedroom. Very large kitchen/dining room and lounge with every modern facility. Beach exceptional and unspoilt and quiet.

Plenty to explore locally.

Blooms very helpful in all respects.

We booked Water's Edge to celebrate my parents 40th wedding anniversary and we were the first family to stay in this unique property. Our family comprised of 10 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs. This property is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, both inside and outside. We loved the architecture of the property and the best feature was the view of the open sea from the 1st and 2nd floors. Additionally having a private beach on your doorstep for our family to use throughout the trip was great.

However, unfortunately there were areas of this property that did not meet the standards and costs to rent it. Firstly, I do not agree with the accommodation facilities in relation to the capacity for both adults and children that had been outlined on the Bloom Stays website and unfortunately the information does differ on the bloom stays website and airbnb. There are 5 king beds which accommodated 10 adults (2 per bed), it is stated that the property can accommodate up to 13 adults however this again does not seem accurate - and 1 room with two single children beds, accommodating 2 children. These twin beds cannot accommodate adults. The "sofa bed" cannot be deemed as an extra bed, as it was literally a plank of wood topped by a thin cushion which was extremely inconsiderate and unsafe for small children. There was also no additional bedding provided for the sofa bed, even though the number of adults and children were outlined when the booking was initially made.

Secondly, the second floor showers mostly provided cold showers, this caused a major inconvenience to my parents who were based on the second floor forcing them to use other showers downstairs. In addition to the cold water, the leaking bathtub on the second floor was also another issue that we had to deal with during our stay.

Overall I do believe this is a beautiful property however due to the issues which built up over the stay I was quite disappointed. As a customer paying for a service, there is a level of standard that we should expect as a minimum, which unfortunately was not met.

Thank you for your feedback. We would like to mention that as our first guests staying in the property we appreciate there were a couple of teething problems which have since been addressed. To note the single beds are full size. The sofa bed is also of substantial quality. The bedding was provided for your group of 13 (not full occupancy). The water system keeps a 500 litre tank of water at 50 degrees and is constantly available. The bath and fittings have since had some remedial work to ensure it will not move.

We had a wonderful weekend at Water's Edge - celebrating a 40th Birthday. The house was perfect!

We had a brilliant weekend celebrating a 40th birthday with family and friends. The house is beautiful with all the rooms being high spec and a real treat to stay in. The kitchen is amazing and well set for cooking for large groups. The open plan area on both the ground and first floor allow for multiple parties in one! The garden is small and not very private from the beach but the access to the latter could not be better. All in all - a fab house that we would love to go to again for the right occasion.
