A truly magnificent property in a lovely quiet location. Stayed with my family over the Christmas period and what a place to spend it. From the wonderful open plan lounge/dinning area, to the large kitchen complete with island (I love an island), it’s so much more than a home away from home. Don’t even get me started on the exceptional manicured gardens and outside kitchen area! Bloom Stays were so lovely to deal at every turn. They added lots of lovely touches such as a beautifully decorated Christmas Tree and a smashing welcome hamper, all which made us feel extra special. I would no...more
Everything excellent for us fresh air sheep and barbecue and nice places to pop out to can’t wait to return
Hockley House was absolutely perfect! We stayed on a very relaxed girls holiday and could not have wished for a better accommodation. The house is absolutely stunning and huge, a kitchen stocked with all the right pots and pans for us to host delish dinners, a lounge & dinning room which was so cosy and welcoming and then each bedroom was beautiful (no one felt they had the short straw as all of the rooms were different but gorgeous) I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here whether its with family or friends - the location was also only a 10 min drive to folkestone but you felt like y...more
My family and I spent 8 nights at the Motor House Loft this October half term. The property was very easy to find and was so very clean and comfortable. If we had any questions during our stay, the owner who lives in the house on site was always on hand to answer them or give us advice. We would thoroughly recommend staying here and are planning our next visit to this beautiful area of Kent
We had a wonderful week at the Beach House. Both the house and location are excellent. Everything has been finished inside to such a high standard, and it was great to be able to walk straight out onto the beach each morning. We left feeling very relaxed and refreshed, and would happily stay there again. Nicky was prompt and responsive throughout the booking process, helping us to find the Beach House in the first place and answering all of our queries leading up to the stay.
We stayed at Neals Place for 2 weeks with the family ages from 2 to 72 , we had a great time , lovely house , very spacious gardens , we couldn't fault the place , close to Canterbury and lots of great restaurants Blooms Stays staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble We would recommend Neals Place to all our family & friends and would certainly stay the again in the future
Would highly recommend Equus Barn and Chaucer House. Really enjoyed my long stay at the Barn over the winter period into the spring. The owners are extremely welcoming, kind and just a pleasure to be around. The location is in one of the most beautiful parts of Kent. Horses, cats and the dog add an extra touch to the place, making it feel like home. Thank you for such a great stay!
Second visit to the barn and it was just as good as the last, this time we also booked the cottages and our guests that slept in them where delighted, really lovely and perfect for 4 people, this is a wonderful place for a very large family like ours, the children love the place, swimming pool, tennis court, massive outside area to play in, if only the weather had been kinder. Hope to see it all again next year.
We stayed at Channel View with two dogs for 2 nights. Had a great welcome, everything was thought about for us and the dogs. The homeowners are very friendly and makes you feel at home. The place is immaculate & the views are breathtaking, if I could attach a picture of the sunset I would.
My family and I had an amazing time staying at Bushes Oast, it provided us with exactly what we were looking for. The rural location, and beautiful Kent scenery gave us a great start to everyday. The service provided during our stay was 5 star, Bloom Stays responded efficiently and professionally to any requests. I would highly recommend Bushes Oast to anyone looking for something unique and special, and Bloom Stays if you want to experience exceptional service.
Plus: Excellent location: in the city centre but in a quiet area with a beautiful and peaceful view. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Very clear instructions from the owner. The garage is a big advantage. Minus: By adding a shower curtain to the bathtub it could also be used easily as a shower.
The place was a great stay for my girlfriend and myself, which had everything we needed. The hosts were more than helpful with any requests and the hot tub was fantastic.
What can I say my husband booked this house for my 60th absolutely beautiful place, soo comfy def recommended this place the beds were more comfortable then my own lol, everything was absolutely spotless and soo well equipped, the grounds were stunning Thank you for everything absolutely gorgeous
We had a beautiful time at Dungeness staying at North Vat. Everyone felt comfortable with the facilities provided and enjoyed looking at and reading the books, which included giving a background to Prospect House. We took the opportunity to take some atmospheric photos of the landscape. The food provided in the local pubs were excellent. It was a lovely base to visit Rye, via Camber and Hythe using the railway. I look forward to booking one of your other holiday homes for a variety of experiences.
We had a fantastic time at East Cottage. The cottage itself had everything you need - including kitchen equipment for Christmas! The owner even provided a beautifully decorated Christmas tree for us. Everything was of the highest quality - including lovely bedding, towels and comfortable beds. We absolutely loved the location on the edge of the Dungeness Estate. So beautiful and peaceful. We hope to return again one day!
This is a traditional end of a 4 unit terrace/semi-detached type of post war property. it has ample parking alongside the house for up to 3 cars. Secure rear garden. It is very well looked after by the owner and great attention is given to providing everything that guests are likely to need and making it easy for them. The furniture and fittings are not brand new but in good condition and as your own home might be (or better in our case!). The kitchen is very modern and spacious and fully equipped. The location is quiet, across the road from beautiful public gardens and the River Stour, with...more
Rumwold is beautiful. Perfectly equipped with everything you need and very comfortable and cosy. Lovely peaceful location for forgetting your phone and going off grid with a good book for a few days. I loved the app which was sent out pre arrival with all the information you need and contactless check in and out was great. Have already rebooked for another stay.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dunes. The house and garden have been converted with real attention to detail that sets it apart from many other properties in Camber. It was very comfortable and had absolutely everything we as a family of 6 needed over our Christmas holiday. The open-plan space is great if you are looking to spend family time together.
We had a lovely relaxing stay at Plum Pudding Stable. The property is in a quiet rural location with a beautiful garden to the front. Unfortunately we didn't have the greatest weather during our stay so were unable to make use of the outdoor furniture. It was a perfect base for lots of day trips in the surrounding area and also has a fantastic pub only 5 mins walk away. Comfortably furnished with everything you need for a home away from home. The only minor problem was the flaky WiFi throughout our stay, however the owner did come out in the pouring rain after we'd arrived to help fix it (and w...more
We were very happy with the house. We had everything that we needed and it was perfect for a group of friends to stay in and have their own space. Lovely spacious property. To be honest we were happy with everything. If we had anything to say that wasn’t positive is that the property was tricky to find as there is no sign on the road!! Otherwise we loved it.
You either love or hate Dungeness. To me it’s bleak and beautiful and it’s a fantastic place for birdwatchers like me. El Ray is a stunning property with magnificent views. You could spend all day just gazing from the huge windows over the vast expanse of shingle beach to the sea beyond. Sunrise & sunset are spectacular. If you are lucky and have a clear night, the stars are beautiful to behold with little light pollution. Locations and properties such as these don’t come cheap, but they are unique and if you want to stay somewhere different, this is for you. It’s the sort of place you wish...more
Pebbles will not disappoint you... It's a wonderful location. Sea view and accommodation are just fantastic!
We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night break in Great Higham Oast and cottages. All accommodation was well equipped and spotlessly clean. We were a family group ranging from 12 to 67 years old. The two older couples stayed in the cottages (for a bit of peace and quiet if required) and joined the rest of the family in the Oast during the day. We could not find any information on how to control the heating and we found the bedrooms a bit too warm at night time, but it did not spoil our stay. I was aware who could be contacted if any problems arose but I did not feel that was necessary. I hop...more
We had a very good relaxing stay. The cottage is charming and right on the beach and the neighbourhood is very friendly and welcoming. The parking can be a bit tricky on nice days when lots of people come to the beach.
We had a lovely week at The Stables at Bells Forstal. The barn was very clean and furnished to a high standard and we had a lovely welcome basket. It was a great location to visit Whitstable, Leeds Castle and Canterbury. We visited some local gardens and did plenty of walking. This is a great place if you want somewhere nor close to a lot of people abs a very quiet spot for sleeping- we would definitely recommend.
A beautiful flat in a wonderful location. Amazing sea views and a well kitted out place to call home for a few days. The shower upstairs could do with upgrading as it’s temperature is very tricky, and the bath wasn’t very hot but the flat was hugely comfortable and we will hopefully return one day. A lot of space for two people but would be perfect for a larger group. Great selection of board games and music and just a lovely break away - thank you!
A perfect cottage for a relaxing break for the two of us. Hard to find any fault, and would highly recommend.
We hired Customs House for a family holiday over the October half term. We were a group of 17 and two dogs. The house was spacious and more than large enough to cater for the group. The beds were very comfortable and there was always hot water despite so many people in the house. Location was great with lots of restaurants and bars in Faversham to chose from. The quay in which the house is located on also had a couple of nice bars and antique shops to look around. Would definitely recommended for a family holiday.
Beautiful accommodation with stunning views from lounge and 3 of the bedrooms. Very clean and owner very welcoming. A couple of niggles, there was not enough comfy seating in the lounge for the 6 of us, and the showers were not powerful enough and hard to get a good temperature either scalding or freezing which meant we mainly used the bathroom on the first floor. But would not hesitate to return.
Lovely pkace to stay only critism as we gad such lovely weather would have been nice to have had some comfy outdoor chairs/ loungers. There was also a lot of bees by the pool which could be a problem with small children
Family get together for 70 th birthday The house and gardens are beautiful Something for everyone . Lovely location and peaceful
Lovely stay, lovely company Pool and house were a great stay cation, good proximity to canterbury and surrounding seaside
A lovely house. Comfortable and well equipped for large groups. The hot tub was good and other games were available. Easy to get to Canterbury or Whitstable. The only downside comment is that the downstairs en suite should have a hand rail for elderly people to hold on to in the shower.
spent 4 nights in the looker it was such a wonderful experience, wonderfully peaceful, beautiful views in a field full of sheep. No tv, so very peaceful and romantic. We sat around the bar-b-que/fire pit and listened to our music, chatting and looking at the stars which were wonderful as there is little light pollution. If you light the log burner in the hut it will keep you toasty, it works so well. I could spend a fortune on all the sheep products in the shop. I have bought a wool hat, a poncho and a large wool herringbone blanket. They are all wonderful high-quality products ad have anothe...more
We spent a very pleasant five nights at this very well positioned apartment in Canterbury town centre. All facilities necessary were available and the only slight problem with the working of the TV was addressed promptly. Minor niggles like a light bulb from the ensuite bathroom and a dripping tap will I am sure be addressed before the next client. Would recommend this apartment as it is close to every thing in the town centre and also easy - as we were doing - exploring further afield to the coast , castles and railways.
The Figgy is a lovely little cottage situated in the grounds of a beautiful estate. The place has everything you could need for your stay (we especially loved the bath!), and would be ideal for anyone visiting anywhere in Kent. The information booklet provided was very helpful, and the staff at Bloom Stays were delightful and always happy to help. We would absolutely recommend this place, and intend to be back ourselves soon!
I booked this beautiful historic farmhouse as a surprise for my partners 60th birthday. The house was well equipped & perfect for us to spend a chill out weekend together with our family & grandchildren. Despite 1 day of solid rain we enjoyed playing pool, board games, fun & laughter sitting by the open fire in the lounge with a few tipples. Would highly recommend this delightful home & wish to say a special thank you to Keith for his kind help & support. Julie Barr
We had a really lovely stay at Hill House Farm. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for five adults, a small child and a baby. But the third bedroom is small and may be better suited to two small children or one adult. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils and crockery. There is a washer, dryer, dishwasher, full-size fridge and separate freezer. The rural location is great, the surroundings were beautiful and quiet. We enjoyed having the cows, sheep and ducks as neighbours. It was easy to get to Folkestone, Canterbury and Ashford, where we enjoyed a ...more
Very nice stay. Perfect for a big group, the hot tub was a nice touch. Plenty of space to make food. Beautiful surroundings. Any questions sent to Mandy were answered straight away, very helpful. Would happily go back.
We arrived to find the house as beautiful as the photos on Blooms website. There was everything there you could need. The rooms were clean and tidy and comfortable. We spent alot of our time at the house as we were celebrating a birthday and it catered to all our needs, even though Kelly did text and provide us with links to things in the local area that may of been of intetest to us.The view over to the beach was lovely. We could not fault this property and all found it hard to leave as it was so beautiful. We have made memories that will remain with us forever.
Just had a fabulous week with friends and family in Dungeness, staying at the Pump House. Fabulously designed accommodation in a wild place that we absolutely loved. We enjoyed great walks around the area, including to theSound Mirrors in New Romney, Camber sands and Rye as well as a trip on the railway. Great food at the Fish shack, the Globe at Rye and the pilot, and the Britannia is a excellent spot for a sunset beer. We will be back.
simply wonderful on every level - thank you! ____________________________________________________________
Hard to fault this property, everything is clean & well provided for you - lots of lovely little touches such as soaps, shower gels, washing machine tablets etc. etc. I had 2 issues only; 1) Parking - this at the nearby Grand Burstin hotel - they don't guarantee you a space & you may get blocked in with double parking! 2) The washing machine is excellent, but maybe a washer dryer might be better as nothing dries in the basement location where the hangers are! Those may be nit picking - certainly wouldn't stop us going back. Mike
We had a lovely three nights in Oast Barn Cottage. The owners had kindly left some provisions and dog treats which were much appreciated. The cottage is very well located for exploring Kent and an easy journey to Faversham, Whitstable and Margate. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside and very peaceful.
We wanted for nothing in PS. Finished to an extremely high standard with everything thought of and provided. Location is amazing - we only live around 25 miles away but it was like being in another world. Just amazing. Only thing for us was that the beds and pillows are very hard and we didn't really get a good nights sleep throughout our 3 night stay.
We had a weeks stay with our extended family. The Oast is perfectly positioned to explore the Kent and East Sussex areas. The property has a host of original charm and is in good condition well equipped with lovely large open spaces for the children to play safely. Would highly recommend it.
We stayed at the chestnuts from 23rd to 30th December. Our 3 children & partners & 4 grandchildren & a friend, it is the perfect house for a family get together. Unfortunately we could not book the weather, it rained the whole week, but the house is big enough to cope with us all. Paula & Martin (the owners) were very friendly & helpful if we needed anything.
A lovely comfortable cottage in a peaceful location. Although the garden is not enclosed, the cottage is surrounded by fields so is fine for dogs. Lots of space for two people & well equipped. Stairs are narrow and steep so might be a problem for the less agile. Good walks right from the door and lots to explore a short drive away. An outside tap would be useful for cleaning muddy paws!
A great trip away. Beautiful location. Can't wait to return soon. The fog signal building had everything you needed although it could benefit from a TV. Lovely surrounding views and tucked away from everyone. If you like privacy, this is the place to book.
Had a wonderful stay and rest here, owners are lovely and approachable which makes all the difference. Clean, tidy and very comfortable.
This is a stunning property that is well equipped with excellent facilities and stunning views. The location is quite remote and a bit tricky to find but when you get there it's definitely worth it! The bedrooms are very spacious and all en-suite. Some of the day beds are a bit lumpy and that would really be my only complaint! Bloom stays are a fantastic company to work with and John the House Manager was very helpful and accommodating. A great house for a party weekend and we were especially lucky because the sun shinned for us. I would have no hesitation in booking this house again.
The property is lovely and in a great location. We did however have trouble with the hot water running out which was a bit of an annoyance. However the property manager sorted the issue out very quickly. The ceilings are also very low though and we had a few sore heads by the end of the trip, however I would recommend this to my family and friends (the not so tall ones) :)
Beautiful cottage, really well presented. Excellent position for exploring Kent. The gardens are large but, for the majority of our stay were unusable as the grass hadn't been cut so was full of crane flies and really damp until the afternoon, which was a shame. Interior is tasteful and immaculate. The shower is a let down ...small and difficult to clean so looks a bit grubby around the doors.
As a large family, with ages ranging from 9 to 95 (ground floor bedrooms and bathroom a must), we had a fantastic time staying here. The location is great with some lovely walks to go on locally and the seaside within half an hour's drive.. Sitting in the hot tub as the sun set was so relaxing, although, as has been noted, there is a lot of traffic noise from the A2 (although you can't see it). Inside the barn is lovely with its beams etc and it has spacious rooms with great space for socialising and it's well equipped with speaker, TVs and kitchen equipment. The only negative for us is that ...more
great place. very beautiful and well equipped. we liked it very much. unfortunately, the hot tub was not working. most importantly, the Wi-Fi was of very poor quality, not designed to cover such a large place and a large group of people. If the Wi-fi is fixed, we would be happy to come back.
Great flat in the Center of Canterbury. Spacious. Very close to the beautiful park and the high street
We booked Yew tree farm as weekend stay for my birthday. The house has a lot to offer, it is very big and has plenty of entertaining space. A lot of kitchen equipment and utensils as well as a good selection of crockery and cutlery. Beds and sofas are comfortable. Our host was helpful and welcoming and greeted us in person on arrival. Couple of issues that made the stay less pleasant and less likely to book again. Firstly- the arrival instructions are very unclear. We arrived from a different side and the pub on your left, turn right at the junction made no sense. There is no phone coverage...more
The most wonderful isolated location on the unique estate of Dungeness. The property is very well equipped and comfortable with exception of the beds. The four floors can be a little confusing at first but all part of the fun and the two balconies give a great 360 degree view and a space to soak up the sun or blow the cobwebs away in the wind. Even in December the place was toasty warm with comfy seating and a log burner. No doors mean the 2 bedrooms are fairly open but a clever curtain system isolates the bathroom. The one big disappointment was the mattresses which have definitely seen bette...more
