A remarkable conversion of a thatched barn into a one bed two bathroom property, to a level well above our expectation. Everything is to a very high spec and to provide comfort, an ambiance for a very enjoyable stay. Appreciated the hamper after what was a long journey and so pleased that it is fully equipped with every thing required. Hope we have an opportunity to stay here again, we would struggle to find better.
We had a lovely stay at Bedgebury Oast, the house was wonderful and in a very secluded and pretty location. The house had everything you could need and we really appreciated the little basket of goodies left for our arrival. A wonderful well kept house that has been maintained exceptionally well. Bloom Stays were excellent in making sure we were taken care of and accommodating our requests. Would not hesitate to book again
This is a gorgeous property right on the sea front. Spacious and comfortable for all the family. We loved all the little touches which were so thoughtful. It won’t disappoint.
The property and gardens are beautiful and from the moment we arrived, we started to relax. Thank you to the owner for being so helpful and we would definitely stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a team of 5 people working in Ashford for 5 weeks. They stayed at Lacton Manor Barns for the entire job. The accommodation was very comfortable, well maintained and made a great 'home away from home'. The hosts were also very helpful and easy to work with. We will definitely look at returning again next year.
This was our second stay here - we love this house. Early June and the wild flowers were in full bloom, making the already wonderful views just stunning. We found ourselves staring out of the huge windows for hours, watching the wildlife and the constantly changing colours of the landscape. The house is so beautifully designed it is a real joy to be able to stay here. The welcome hamper was a very thoughtful touch. Thank you so much, we will be returning.
We have just spent a long weekend at this fabulous house. The views and location to the beach are spectacular. The house is perfect and every room is beautifully decorated and well thought out. The kitchen was better equipped than my own. We will definitely be returning!!
Beautifully presented historic building, rural location, personal touches. Made me feel very special!
Our recent stay at Oyster Shore, a Blooms Stay property in Whitstable, was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautifully decorated interior. Each room was thoughtfully furnished with unique, arty pieces that perfectly complemented the quirky charm of Whitstable. It felt like staying in a cozy, artistic retreat where every detail was curated with care and creativity. The property's garden was another highlight of our stay. It was a tranquil oasis that our entire family enjoyed, especially the children. They were thrilled with the outdoor show...more
We had a fantastic stay at The Bull Pen. It's a clean, modern and spacious property situated within wonderful surroundings. As we stayed during Christmas, the underfloor heating was most welcome and the beds were very comfortable. The complimentary Christmas Panettone was a lovely touch! There is also an adjoining property with the same layout, which have interconnecting gardens. We will defintley book again and whole experience with Bloom Stays was great. Thank you.
Perfect. This wonderful sea view property provided everything we needed and was an excellent location for our short stay to visit family. From the moment we walk into the property it provided a lovely ambience of comfort which was spotlessly clean. Bedroom bedding was first class and the bathrooms and towels were of an excellent standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been longer! We hope to return.
Fabulous cottage that is beautifully presented and clean, as well as being in a great location. Parking never a problem and the information booklet was excellent.
Little Lark is exactly as pictured and provides a lovely & relaxed space to unwind and enjoy the delights of Camber Sands and nearby Rye. We booked an early-in-the-year short stay expecting the weather to be poor but knowing wet and windy weather doesn't stop us enjoying the fresh air and long walks along the beach and around the dunes with our dog. Little Lark is 3 minutes from the beach and perfect for our dog as the garden is enclosed. The doors to the fabulous outdoor space makes the garden feel part of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub in the rain on the occasional time w...more
We booked The Coach House for our annual family gathering weekend, and it surpassed our expectations. Out of all the places we've stayed, this one was the best by far. Brian and Sara, our hosts, have made sure everything you need is provided. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essential equoment, and the house itself had a lot of character. The garden was a highlight, with different areas to hang out in like a patio, BBQ spot, firepit, garden games area and even a treehouse. The grandchildren had a blast in the treehouse and the games area, where they beat us at everything! Not to l...more
Second visit. Fabulous location and managed to get in to visit the nearby lighthouse. Kite flying great as so windy! The cottage is cosy, well equipped and comfortable with great log burners which were appreciated on the windy days.
A beautiful and tranquil location, perfect for day trips to Canterbury, Hythe, Rye and more. Very comfortable and clean, well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches. Highly recommended.
We had an amazing stay at the Willows. The place was perfect for our weekend getaway, and there were lots of nice touches like a welcome basket! Would definitely recommend and am sure we will be back.
Bushes Oast is a home away from home, with all the creature comforts from lovely bedding, a fully equipped kitchen and laundry and sitting room with board games and Netflix for the children. We stayed to visit friends in the Sevenoaks area but being tucked down a lovely country lane gave us an extra special treat - with the sweeping country views and the warmth of the aga on the rustic brick floors in the kitchen. The views are just lovely and being able to cook your own meal, put on a load of washing and sit out to watch the sunset, makes a weary traveller relax! We loved it. It was our secon...more
My extended family of 10 (5 adults & 5 children) stayed at Perry Farm in July. The house & grounds were beautiful - we particularly enjoyed the conservatory which had a huge dining table and the room with the pool table. The children loved playing badminton & football in the enormous garden until well into the evening. Wingham was a gorgeous village within a couple of minutes drive & it was an easy drive to Canterbury & Sandwich, both within 15/20 minutes. Slightly further to Whistable & Broadstairs but all very easy to get to for enjoyable day trips. Communication from Bloom Stays was g...more
We had a really great stay at The Hayloft, unbelievable value for money! The views were great and we had such a peaceful time away. The house has a nice layout with the living space upstairs, making the most of the views. The property is also in easy reach of some great days out in Kent. We are very picky with where we stay and we would highly recommend The Hayloft!
Excellent! As a group of 23 we had a fantastic long weekend on the complex, between the main barn, the cottages and the oast we had everything we could have needed and all to a high standard. This is our second time staying at the property and we will be back for a third I am sure!! Thanks for a great weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Dunes. The house and garden have been converted with real attention to detail that sets it apart from many other properties in Camber. It was very comfortable and had absolutely everything we as a family of 6 needed over our Christmas holiday. The open-plan space is great if you are looking to spend family time together.
We enjoyed our one week stay at the Motor House Loft a lot! The flat provides everything you need for a comfortable and carefree stay in a beautiful and very well looked after environment of the owners house and lands you are free to discover on a stroll around. Mark and his wife are excellent hosts! They are around if you have a question or need some first hand recommendation for example for a nice country pub nearby where you can eat or have a proper local pint, all within 10 min or so by car. Unfortunately the pub in the village in walking distance changes currently owners, so that was clos...more
The Oast and cottages were just lovely. Quant, cute and typical English feel to them. The communication from start to finish was amazing. The housekeeper, was particularly easy to communicate with and was very helpful and friendly. Would definitley recommend and will be looking to book another one of Blooms properties.
Beautiful property and Sal was an amazing and informative host. Perfect for a short break away. Sandgate is a beautiful town with lots of lovely walks on the doorstep
The Gate House was very beautiful. Loved the way it has been restored and original features maintained and kept. Loved the windows! It is also very tastefully decorated, beautifully bright and colourful. Bathrooms are kitted out well. The roll top bath was awesome. The bedrooms and beds were superb.Top quality bedding and linen. The Ensuite bathroom may benefit from having some privacy with the loo. The grounds surrounding the cottage were gorgeous and the tennis court was a bonus enjoyed by my sons. A big plus for us was that it was dog friendly so we were able to bring our cockapoo with us. T...more
Thoroughly enjoyed our all too short stay at TLBH Comfort living in tip top location for all amenities. We were blessed with perfect weather but still would have enjoyed ourselves if it had rained. Plus the ladies in our group managed to spend a nice amount of money at the well recommended No 5 Tankerton Circus clothes shop!
Would recommend staying here as it’s a very well equipped cottage. Central for visiting all the lovely places in North Kent and not far from several local pubs.
Wonderful location wonderful views , the style of decoration has a luxury feel ,comfortable beds couldn't fault the property .would definitely stay again
Such a lovely break, the cottage was very sweet and in a great location for the beach. Would definitely love to come back.
What a wonderful stay at Farriers Cottage. It somehow looked even better than the photos, super clean and super spacious. Woudl highly recommend.
Beautiful, spacious, comfortable, clean and tasteful home in the most fantastic location. Joanna was a wonderful, welcoming host - friendly and helpful while not being intrusive. All in all, a fantastic place to stay.
My family loved this stay at The Old Schoolroom. A beautiful house, very comfortable and well equipped with lots of charm and character.
As you arrive down this hidden a way sandy track of a road, rolling along on sandy waves to the most perfect destination. This is the best bit of Camber if like us you want to avoid hilly climbs up sand dunes. It is a flat walk to the beach and takes but a minute. Lark Rise is a tardis of a building, you walk into a huge open plan kitchen, dining, living room. You feel as if you have been transported to Montauk. The peaceful garden has a perfect “end of garden” cabin, a little ( actually not so little ! ) self contained studio. A hot tub bubbling away ready to invite you in. It has eve...more
Channel View is a lovely place to stay. Lee & Sonia were very welcoming from the moment we arrived. The place is a credit to them both. They have put so much work into this amazing place. The views are spectacular. We will definitely be coming back to visit again.
We had a wonderful few nights here. It was all pristinely clean. The finish everywhere was of a very high standard especially the kitchen and bathrooms which I really appreciated. The kitchen was well supplied and we loved sitting around the big table. We had breakfast outside one sunny morning followed by the hot tub. So relaxing. It was also so quiet and peaceful. We would loved to have stayed longer. I can highly recommend this property. We loved it, from start to finish.
Rented the Roost as we were going to a wedding at Goodnestone Park which is only 10minutes away by car so ideal if you are attending a function there. The Roost was really well equipped with a lovely welcoming host. Welcome provisions were provided which was a really nice touch. We were blessed with hot sunny weather so the lovely courtyard garden was put to good use. Would highly recommend this property
Perfect 2 night getaway for anniversary. 5 star Shepherds Hut in keeping with sheep farming & family traditions set in beautiful Kent countryside. Outside bath, barbeque, beautifully equipped living space & shower bathroom, wood burner & perfect peace.
We had an amazing stay, for over 20 of us it was the perfect house! Spacious, stylish and set up for large groups. The games/ activities on offer were lovely and we made the most of a sunny weekend in the pool! Would highly recommend!
Hi. Everything was brilliant apart from the lethal mud getter no to the hut. I appreciate it is a working farm but there needs to be some sort of path to the huts as the mud made it treacherous A small point on an otherwise great experience Thx S
ruined by the record breaking hottest april on record , lol freezing cold and driving rain , but if the weather was better it would have been stunning
Ideal location to explore Whitstable. As frequent visitors to the area, I can honestly say this is the cleanest property I have ever stayed in, it was immaculate and spotless, not a spec of dust in the entire property. Beautify decorated throughout as well, would 100% book again when we next visit Whitstable. Highly recommended!!
What a fantastic little gem Plumcot Holt is. Hidden away at the bottom of a garden, it is a great place to get away from it all. The old railway carriage has been superbly renovated with all the luxurious of home. Located just a 20 min walk from the centre Canterbury. Our host's were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend Pluncot Holt and hopefully will return for another stay. Thank you. Theresa and Michael.
A very comfortable stay in a beautiful part of the world. The shepherd hut has everything you need as well as a few well thought out extras. A perfect treat, can't wait to return.
As a family we booked all 3 huts had a great time fresh air, big skies and amazing weather. Can’t wait to do it again , fire pits wine juice and fun
We had another lovely stay at Hockley house, our second new year visit. Hot tub great addition. Owner kind and gave a friendly warm welcome. Beautiful location, great for country walks. Thanks for a great stay!
A little windy so we had trouble lighting the stove other than that all was great except the weather
This really is a lovely property in a great location. We booked this for 2 weeks for both work and to be near family, it is in a lovely quiet location to relax and unwind and is beautifully equipped throughout. No idea where the WiFi is but it had a very low connection speed making it very hard and sometimes impossible to work on Teams, we also had the same issues with the smart TV connections to Netflix and Amazon where it would keep freezing due to connection issues. The very low sofas were a struggle as we are not young anymore and they were very low to the ground making it hard to get ...more
A well catered apartment in a good location. Owner very helpful. Everything up to expectations. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time at The Old Post Office. Such a gorgeous house, like home from home. Totally recommend.
Some of the toilets could do with locks! Table tennis was an added bonus! very enjoyable stay - would come again!
Enjoyed stay - I do not know if have access to tennis if not in main house Lovely stay - could be better shower
Amazing stay in this very well decorated and spacious house where we felt at home ! Beautiful bedrooms and amazing kitchen with plenty of fridges, dishwashers, ... Everything is well conceived and the swimming pool and its house such a good size! We had a wonderful Time ! To say something, the swimming pool and the BBQ were not cleaned , (the agency very quickly sent someone to clean the pool) and the grass wasn't cut.. A bit cold in the granary..
I’ve stayed at West Cottage before and recently returned for a mini break…there’s only one problem with staying at West Cottage…you have to leave!
Lovely location, tranquil. Spotless hoise, luxurious feel. Fresh fruit + flowers lovely touch. Beautiful views
We all absolutely loved this barn - from start to finish the booking process, organising key collection and return was super easy and friendly. We had our ten year anniversary party here with friends and family, we loved the tennis and swimming and the hot tub being exclusive was an added bonus! There are so many utilities included we only needed to bring food and drink! The only other thing we needed to get way foil and kitchen roll but dishwasher tabs, tea and coffee all provided which we loved. We would come back in a heartbeat.
The Dairy is just as the pictures depict - spacious, comfortable and private. It’s been such a lovely stay with a very understanding and easy going owners nearby as well as efficient administrative team from Bloom Stays.
We had a wonderful stay at Dovetail Cottage. It was beautifully decorated and styled, the location was fantastic. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and provided lots of helpful information. The cottage had everything we needed for a week long stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Canterbury!
Spent four days with children and grandchild in this wonderful house with stunning view. Would love to live there!
I stayed for my hen weekend and the whole group said how amazing the stay was! The whole house and grounds were finished to an excellent standard, it really had everything we needed. We were so lucky with the weather and we’re able to make full use of the facilities. We also did not realise how beautiful the location was and we all enjoyed going for walks outside the property - the views were breathtaking! We would recommend this to anyone. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful in every way possible. Thank you for making my hen weekend an unforgettable stay!
North Vat is in such an excellent location. Stylish bright house,( you definitely need the eye masks), well equipped, a great house for exploring the area. The gorgeous big windows bring the outside in, whatever the weather. We had typical mixed British weather & it was so great to watch from the comfort of the house. Highly recommend.
We‘ ve spent two weeks in Canterbury as Family. The house is very nice and clean. The kitchen is really well equipped. The garden and Terrace are awesome. For Germans the beds were a little bit small, but everything works at the end . We‘ve felt very comfortable and looking forward to our next stay in Canterbury.
Lovely cottage with a beautiful garden! The location is great, near Whitstable and Canterbury. The owner was very nice and helpful. We would love to return!
Celebrating an early Thanksgiving, we wanted a house where our friends could come together, hang out, eat well and make the best of the Kent countryside. At Lower Standen Farmhouse we were all to do and enjoy all of these things. The house has been beautifully restored with the prize going to the wonderful kitchen/dining room. Surrounded by glass overlooking the lush garden, the views and colours are an ever-changing joy with the underfloor heating meaning that we spent most of our time here. No lonely feelings for our chef ..... she probably had more help this year than ever before! Bedrooms ...more
This house was a last minute change to our booking due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. The house is in an excellent location with simply stunning views & coupled with its extensive facilities makes it a delightful all round place to spend some truly relaxing time.
Beadles is a beautiful property in Sandwich Bay, located at a nice quiet road, easy walking distance from the beach. The house feels historic with interesting elements to it. It felt spacious, accommodated comfortably 12 of us. The children loved the property, the garden, the playroom. It was a perfect house to host our extended family, get away together quality time.
The beach house offers more than self catering - little details and touches you would expect in a hotel (choice of pillows, mini body wash / soaps and an array of towels) Superbly equipped for a supper for kings and suitably set up for families to enjoy. The setting on the seafront enjoys the sounds of the waves and passing sunrise and side on sunset glows. The cafes and restaurants are in abundance on foot and we loved the croissants and coffee at Mr Whippets :)
The Custom House was all I had hoped for, there were 16 of us staying on a Pilgrimage from Rochester to Ramsgate. It provided a welcome and comfortable place to stay after long walks.....very well equipped, clean and quiet at night.
Such a lovely barn, excellent for our hen party. Bloom and Nicola helped us out booking in last minute on the day after we were cancelled on by a different airbnb. Nicola is a great host and came to say hi and explain a few things once we had checked in, and made us feel very welcome and comfortable - allowing us a slightly later checkout than normal. The barn has lovely areas to relax in as a group, and plenty of rooms with lots of space and beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with lots of glasses and even cocktail shakers. A lot of thought has been put into making this an enjoyable stay (l...more
We had a lovely stay at the Pump Station. A beautiful and comfortable house in a gorgeous location. Top quality kitchen equipment. Ideal for a special weekend celebrating my husband’s 50th. The Snack Shack nearby provided us with several delicious lunches - highly recommend this too!
We had a two night stay whilst visiting relatives. Wished we could have spent more time at the hut. Peaceful environment with super views. The hut was very comfortable and well equipped. We plan to return for a longer stay.
Just had a fantastic week at driftwood cottage, a bit off putting from the front but it’s lovely inside, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and right on Sandgate beach. The cottage has everything you need for a great holiday, can’t wait to return.
A totally wonderful experience. A very comfortable and well equipped stay. A stunning location. We will be back and have already recommended to lots of friends!
A genuinely old & historic building, but clean, modern & comfortable inside. Wonderful outside areas. All essentials provided, but things like cleaning, washing up liquid, te/coffee/sugar there also. Location great. CAMRA gbg listed pub next door, cafe opposite, kebab van 2 mins walk. Boat hire 5 mins & steam train 10 min walk. Plenty of local paths. Owner there on arrival. Friendly and informative. Really didn’t want to leave ☹️.
Wow what an amazing property and host. We hired Craythornes out for my friends to gather for my 50th. What a gem this find was. The house is massive and accommodating for all ages. Its quirky character and decor made it even more amazing. The house layout meant that rain or shine it could accommodate us all without feeling cramped whatsoever. There was plenty of rooms for everyone to utilise from the open plan kitchen with sofa and chairs, to the lounge, the conservatory, games room, garden. The pool was so lovely. Perfect temperature, clean and safe if you have you gets ones as it’s fenced ...more
We spent a lovely few days at Bunny Cottage, it was comfortable and very clean, a little gem. Situated in a beautiful village, and only a short drive to the beach and the town of Hythe . We would definitely revisit Bunny Cottage .
Beautifully appointed and maintained. Can’t fault Wheelwright’s for a short stay. Communication very good. Definitely recommended. Handy for activities we had planned in Hastings and Tonbridge. Thank you!
What an amazing place to have our honeymoon, truly the perfect environment to relax in! We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows in the fire, and walking down the the farms lake. + There were some wonderful touches added to the property, including a lovely welcome hamper, some local cheese, and a little pack for a dog! Beautiful toiletries were provided, and were now considering switching to that brand! - The property stated there was a microwave, which unfortunately there wasn’t, the socket on the right side of the bed didn’t work. The hot tub chemicals weren’t checked t...more
Really pleasant stay at Honeywood lodge, the house is well located, the swimming pool is great and it's very easy to deal with the Bloom Stays team!
We really loved staying at Cart Lodge, the cottage is very comfortable and is perfect for a short break. We were left a reallt nice welcome hamper as well, which was amazing. We would love to stay again.
An excellent weekend spent celebrating an 80th birthday with four generations of the family in an amazing house. The house was well equipped for every generation and very well designed to cater for different activities at the same time. The garden is a bit difficult to negotiate, could do with a rail at the steep steps and an extra step up to the rear patio. Would definitely revisit.
A great position just off of the high street so handy for shops /.pubs etc . Well presented and in easy walking distance of the seafront. Quite homely and plenty of space. The bathroom needs updating, but saying that , we had a great week ,
the cottage was lovely and very cosy, ideal position just behind the High St. The beds were both comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. Had a really lovely stay
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est exceptionnellement décorée et c’est un véritable coup de cœur.
Was perfect for our family of six. Especially enjoyed the board games! There isn’t a door to the bedroom upstairs, if that is something you need.
Great stay for us and our dogs ( very secure and peace of mind garden) property deceptively spacious and peaceful. Don’t be put off by proximity of the road.
We had a great time at this cottage, just what we wanted, a house in a very quite location but near the city of Canterbury with everything there, the house is very comfortable, loads of couches, a brand new kitchen, and the Hot tub was perfect we all set in in the morning and in the evening, we would love to come back soon.
Wonderfull atypical flat in the heart of Canterbury. We couldn't wait better !!!! Everything was perfect : amazing kitchen, helpfull private carpark, cosy rooms, two bathrooms and everything you can need !
Oast Barn Cottage was comfortable, although smaller than it looks on the photographs. It's in a really peaceful location, very rural but we found it really central to the places we wanted to visit. The cottage would benefit from a little more storage but appreciate it's an old building.
We loved everything about the cottage, great location, good dog walks and very peaceful. Can not wait until we return next year.
We had a wonderful stay at Little Seven Oaks. We arrived to a lovely hamper of goodies including some delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake. The accommodation was beautiful and the setting was idyllic. We were even lucky that the weather allowed us to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace in the evening. We also enjoyed a home cooked meal from the host (Sarah) as an added extra one evening which was such a treat. We stayed with our 5 month old baby and the host was very accommodating of this too. I would without hesitation recommend Little Seven Oaks and look forward to staying here aga...more
We had a really enjoyable stay. The cottage is small but lovely - very comfortable and had everything we needed for a quiet week away from it all. The welcome pack of local cheese, apple juice etc was superb.
We stayed at Cavallo Barn from 25/02 to 17/03 We enjoyed the location, the quite and the kindness of the owners, always there to help. The apartment offered all the amenities advertised and all was in good working order. We would love to have the opportunity to go back one day. S & L Budroni
The house had everything you could need. Pool was very warm. Well equipped kitchen. Lawn perfect for playing games. We don't drive but station only a short walk. Two shops close by in pretty village. Highly recommended.
This past weekend we celebrated my sisters bridal shower and it was the perfect location for a nice relaxing girls getaway. The house is so nice and spacious, with views of never ending fields. We were able to go visit the horses next door and it was a short drive in to town. Overall, we all had an amazing time! The owner was very kind and helpful too.
Great place to stay with just some minor issues with furniture comfort And the most difficult front door , which needs to be properly adjusted and equipped with a door pull caused issue on every attempt to lock and open
Needs a dishwasher. If you’re over six foot tall, avoid. Smacked my head about 20 times on low head heights between spaces.
El Ray is in a fabulous sea facing position with the lighthouse and power station providing contrasting views from the rear. The house is contemporary with wood on the walls, floors and ceilings creating a calming environment. It’s very clean and easy to live in and the railway carriage places history at its heart. The huge glass doors are a feature. Only one is working at the moment and it will be good when the problem with the other two has been resolved. We were interested to stay in a property designed by the architect who designed our own home and make comparisons! El Ray did not disappoi...more
The condition of the cottage (regarding maintenance, comfort and cleanliness) could do with some updating for instance: the deep freezer was full of ice at our arrival; all knives are quite blunt; the kitchen chairs are quite wobbling; the bathroom fan was out of order and maybe this is the reason that there is already mold in the bathroom; the garden bench and table are very heavy, no change from sun to shadow and vv possible. the changing of the bedlinen and towels (we had a 14 day stay) was not according to the information booklet in the cottage;
The Fog Signal Building is an exceptional environment. Its location coupled with the amount of glass that forms its design makes for a seamless connection with the outside. Sea, boats, the incredible light of Dungeness, wild rabbits, birds and the occasional appearance of a fox are all very much to be enjoyed from the Fog Signal Building. Elegant and comfortably furnished, small but good selection of books, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Perhaps a little tired here and there but overall an excellent holiday home.
Had a fabulous weekend, the house was clean, big grounds, comfortable layout of the house. Only few minor details - no amenities in showers and only one hairdryer for the whole house
Little Sunray has view of the shingle beach from every window - simply serene. Whatever the weather the view & location was spectacular. Accommodation had everything we needed including kitchen (I cooked 5 meals & all utensils etc were there). Beds super comfortable and the electric heaters plus log fire heated the property when needed. A bath looking out the window was just the kinda of relaxing haven we had hoped for. Only room for improvement related to the sofa which could be comfier. Wasn’t uncomfy as such but just not to same standard as everything else. Highly highly recommend Little...more
We had another relaxing stay at Bonnington Cottage - our second visit since Christmas! A lovely period cottage with mod cons. The property is easily accessed and situated in the beautiful Kent countryside with plenty of walks within a stones throw. The dogs loved it too! It won’t be long before we’re back there again.
nice apartment , if you like to sleep with the windows open.If you have small children, they may feel the wind coming from the windows. The windows in the apartment are classic wooden and we, who came from Central Europe, felt cool from the windows. Everything else is fine.
Excellent location for a family holiday and Canterbury and surroundings is a beautiful place to visit. The rooms and the dining and sitting room are spacious and comfortable, the place is quiet, there is a nice public garden just bellow . We just had problems with the hot water installation and couldn't use the bathrooms securely and comfortably. I suppose this can be mended and changed so that the place would be perfect. The attendent parking place is a much appreciated.
Is exactly as billed. A stunning location. Always something to watch out of the windows and on the outside decks. I think if there had been a worktop and chairs in the top room (with a foldaway bed) we would have spent most of our time reading and gazing out of the windows - it was a bit chilly to be outside for a long period. Luckily we had taken our thermos flask so had warm drinks up there. We had a wonderful time - thank you. Beverley wanted a seaside location - this could not have been bettered.
