Had such an amazing stay at Channel View booked through Bloom Stays. Everything was perfect, the view and the accommodation itself! The hosts were lovely and very helpful with tips on what to do around the area. All in all, we had a perfect getaway.
A wonderful place. great location. Could not find fault. Definitely will be back. 5/5 Perfect for any season.
Perry Farm exceeded our expectations in every way. The pictures don’t do it justice. The property is immaculate and includes a large garden and patio which was perfect for outdoor dinners and picnics. The inside of the house is massive with two large sitting rooms, a big dinner table in the sun room, a games room, a well stocked kitchen, and spacious bedrooms. Our stay was so relaxing, and it was exactly what we were looking for in a high end retreat to the English countryside. No one wanted to leave. We had dinner at a nearby pub one night which was great, and we were only 15-30 minutes drivi...more
Would highly recommend Equus Barn and Chaucer House. Really enjoyed my long stay at the Barn over the winter period into the spring. The owners are extremely welcoming, kind and just a pleasure to be around. The location is in one of the most beautiful parts of Kent. Horses, cats and the dog add an extra touch to the place, making it feel like home. Thank you for such a great stay!
Fantastic opportunity to day in a beautiful building in a unique location the house was welcoming and luxurious and warm as soon as you walked in. Being surrounded by the vast shingle nature reserve, so close to the sea was very relaxing. An added bonus was buying the freshly caught fish at the local fish shack-just a few minute walk away. Would love to go back!
We have so enjoyed our stay at Cherry Cottage, and hope to return in the near future. Thank you Bloom Stays, you have been a godsend.
We had a wonderful week at the Beach House. Both the house and location are excellent. Everything has been finished inside to such a high standard, and it was great to be able to walk straight out onto the beach each morning. We left feeling very relaxed and refreshed, and would happily stay there again. Nicky was prompt and responsive throughout the booking process, helping us to find the Beach House in the first place and answering all of our queries leading up to the stay.
We visited Hockley house to celebrate my birthday weekend. 11 of us went and it was a fab weekend! Everything was immaculate, and it's a beautiful venue. The Hot tub is a great touch and we all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Fab hosts!
We had a wonderful stay at Kings Cottage, the house is lovely, and couldn't be in the more perfect location right in the heart of Canterbury. All my questions and requests ahead of time were quickly and smoothly dealth with, nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn't hesitate to use Bloom stays again! Lucy
Plus: Excellent location: in the city centre but in a quiet area with a beautiful and peaceful view. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Very clear instructions from the owner. The garage is a big advantage. Minus: By adding a shower curtain to the bathtub it could also be used easily as a shower.
We booked the Last and both cottages for our extended family consisting of 10 adults, 7 teenagers and 1 toddler (and 2 dogs) and the properties were perfect for our long awaited (due to COVID) family get together. We had two families stating in the Past house which is beautiful and so well equipped with everything we needed. All the plates/cups, kitchen equipment you could want (including a washing machine and the much needed dishwasher). The two cottages were perfect for the two families of 4 that occupied them and were equally well appointed. We had perfect sunshine for the entire ...more
Absolutely brilliant ! Mt fiancé and I stayed at Cornerways for 2 months while we were between homes. We decided to use the opportunity of remote working to explore Canterbury while we were between homes and we found Cornerways on Bloom Stays. The rental process was quick and easy and the property is beautiful. A lovely 3 bedroom end of terrace, just across the street from Westgate Gardens, with a stunning garden and only a 10 minute walk from the highstreet. The location is amazing ! The property had everything we needed for out stay and is in a really good condition. The owner and the Bloom ...more
What a gem of a find. Perfectly located with the beautiful Sandgate beach literally in your backyard.
We had such a lovely break as we stayed at the beautiful Honeywood Lodge in Canterbury! The place has a beautiful green space, but also a game room and can accommodate 6 people. The bedrooms were so nicely decorated and we enjoyed the space for the day. We really enjoyed having a private pool for the day and we made the most of it. Honeywood Lodge is such a beautiful location in a quiet spot of Canterbury. We loved being in the garden. The rooms in the loft were spacious and light. The bed was super comfy and the living room space is also big enough to relax with your family. Thanks to Bloo...more
We stayed at Great Higham Oast from January to March. It is a gorgeous place: spacious, well equipped, comfortable and in a great setting with a shared pool and tennis courts. It is so quiet and yet not far from the nearest village and with easy access to main routes. Some lovely walks are on the doorstep and it is so nice to be next to a working farm too. Staff at the farm and at Bloom Stays are brilliant and very helpful. A fabulous place and we would love to return one day.
Pebbles is a great little beachside retreat in Kent. Whilst it's just a few feet from the beach and a 10 minute stroll to some local pubs and cafes, both Folkestone and Hythe are also in within walking distance. The property has plenty of space for 2 people and has a enough facilities to make light lunches or even a bbq. Very friendly and helpful host on hand if you need anything but who will also give you the privacy to enjoy a relaxing break.
I cannot express enough how wonderful our stay was. The apartment was beautiful and I cannot fault a thing
Great higham is a really special place. Beautifully renovated barn with hot tub and everything you could need - the pool and tennis court are the icing on the cake. The only down side is that the beds are slightly uncomfortable- it’s a small downside!
Lovely home in a peaceful rural location, with fantastic hosts who provided everything we needed and some additional treats on top. The house was spotless and the space perfect for our needs. WiFi was a little temperamental, but managed to get it to work with the troubleshooting guidance in the guest welcome book (which was also very well put together).
We spent a very pleasant five nights at this very well positioned apartment in Canterbury town centre. All facilities necessary were available and the only slight problem with the working of the TV was addressed promptly. Minor niggles like a light bulb from the ensuite bathroom and a dripping tap will I am sure be addressed before the next client. Would recommend this apartment as it is close to every thing in the town centre and also easy - as we were doing - exploring further afield to the coast , castles and railways.
The Figgy is a lovely little cottage situated in the grounds of a beautiful estate. The place has everything you could need for your stay (we especially loved the bath!), and would be ideal for anyone visiting anywhere in Kent. The information booklet provided was very helpful, and the staff at Bloom Stays were delightful and always happy to help. We would absolutely recommend this place, and intend to be back ourselves soon!
We had a wonderful long weekend at Dormestone house. The property and the grounds are enormous with plenty of spaces to escape to and find peace. The weather was incredible so we enjoyed the pool and the tennis courts, the gas bbq, and bike rides in the nearby North Downs. The gardens are stunning. The house is well equipped for fun with tennis rackets and balls available to borrow, a huge snooker table, chess board, games and books for all ages. There is a small undercounter fridge in the kitchen but fear not, the utility room has a large fridge and freezer. I would say the property was no...more
We enjoyed a lovely family weekend at Hill House Farm - six adults and a seven month old baby. Loved the setting and the house and found it generally well equipped for our stay. It's a really attractive property and as the weather was very warm, we could enjoy the outside terrace and table for meals. A few additional and minor details would have helped - instructions on working lights in the orangery and along the drive, a manual for the dishwasher (the 'on' touch switch had been worn away on the inside of the door which meant we had to go online to find out where to turn it on) and the pro...more
A very pleasant break, the pool was glorious and loved by all my family. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and the bedding and towels provided were clean and good quality. The gardens were also well stoked and beautifully kept. The steps and stairs were a lot to climb, particularly the front steps leading up to the house.
Cute house, spotless, well equipped and a perfect base to explore Sandwich and beyond. Would highly recommend.
We had such a lovely break at the fog signal box. It really is an extraordinary place to stay. Super magical. For future it would be nice if there had been loo paper [!] and a few more supplies for guests. When paying this amount per night, in comparison to other places, eg a small amount of milk/eggs/bread/butter - something that shows some thought for the guests who may have travelled a long way -this would be SUCH a nice touch! A welcome basket of nibbles, something... The bed was comfy but the duvet was super old, very thin and scruffy. The bedding also - it had a rip on one side. F...more
The cottage is in the most beautiful setting and the garden is idyllic - truly picture perfect. I feel at this price point (which I think is fair given the uniqueness of the property) the cottage should be better appointed with some of the basics - tea, kitchen towel, tinfoil, cling film, more loo roll etc - but this is only a minor gripe. It’s a stunning retreat and we will return!
A wonderful country House, service was top, a perfect escape, Will be back to enjoy a British country home.
We had a wonderful relaxing few days at Cavallo Barn, lots to see and do around that area. Martin made us feel welcome.
Stayed in this cottage before and always enjoyed the peace and quiet the cottage is comfortable but is getting ready for a few upgrades e.g settee springs seem to have gone and kitchen carpet is threadbare also we knew the stairs were a bit iffy but they seemed to have polished them making them worse, but after saying all this I would rather stay here than anywhere else it’s a perfect spot and help always there if needed .
This was a great little spot to have a break from the city. Everything you need to have a break - sit back and listen to the birds in a quiet spot, with an open fire in the evenings. Location wise, if you have a car - this is a lovely spot. Close to lots of walks and gardens and a short enough drive from the coast, namely whitstable which was a lovely place to visit. We were left to enjoy it with zero interruption which was perfect for our needs. We would say that value for money wise, we think slightly overpriced for the accommodation size/facilities.
We had such a lovely time here perfect place to get away to have family time and peace. What a view to wake up too .We will definitely be returning one day.
