We loved our stay at Wickham manor and had an amazing experience doing the vine and country tour of Charles palmer vineyard. The accommodation makes you feel like you’ve gone back in time. It’s in the most amazing setting and there are great walks from the property. We managed to do lots even without a car! We’d love to go back one day!

Quaint property with amazing views and local walks. However a couple of things to note...

The property is old, quaint and comfortable.
We appreciated the breakfast provisions and washing up taken care of.
The views from the patio and garden are amazing. Similar but distorted views are from the upstair seating areas, due to the old windows.
There are a good variety of local walks. Winchelsea is a delight and the pub was welcoming serving good food.

We were unaware of the free roaming chickens, which our dog couldn't settle with, as they wanted to come around the front door to a nest! Thankfully the owner kept them in when we were onsite, which meant logging in and out with her for our few day stay.
The four poster bed was extremely creaky.
A cupboard in the breakfast area would secure crockery and food, from night visitors, due to the large air gaps around front door.
