A clean and comfy stay once again at The Bay . Couldn’t have asked for more as the property was spot on . Great shower / bath and 3 toilets . House was very clean and in good order with WIFI and great facilities .The lactation is perfect jist a few mins walk to the beach or the footpaths . The cleanliness of the resort was very good. Returning in December.
A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location, probably the nicest place we have stayed in , a pleasure to stay in this great place , so well equipped everything you need for the perfect holiday, thank you so much to all concerned
We sent a fabulous 5 days in this property, Location was spot on. Seashell was perfect for our needs. Lovely dog walks on beach. So relaxing.
Me and the dogs had a lovely few days at the Hideaway. The weather was glorious so lovely walks on the beach and cliffs. The Hideaway is very cosy, clean and comfortable.
This was our third stay at The Salty Dog at The Bay Filey, and it just keeps getting better every time. From the moment we arrived, it truly felt like a home away from home, everything has been so thoughtfully provided, making it easy to relax and settle in straight away. The facilities at The Bay are fantastic, offering something for everyone and really adding to the overall experience. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a break by the coast. We wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend The Salty Dog to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-equipped getaway.
Booked the beach house for 4 adults and a dog. The beach house is stunning. Very comfortable. Plenty of space. We all loved it and had a great weekend. Only issue is. The key box is at the back of the house and there is no path to get you to the door. We had to walk across muddy grass to be able to get the key. Pub has mixed reviews but we also had a good meal and breakfast.
We’ve had a perfect stay at Sea Esta, it was spotless, warm, comfortable and so close to the beach. We stayed three nights and could have happily stayed longer. The Bay is quiet and everyone was really friendly. We were lucky with the weather, so spent time on the beach, and in Filey. We’ll definitely return. Thank you for sharing your lovely cottage with us !
We had a great week at the Dog House. The accommodation was very tastefully decorated and very clean. All the small appliances looked new which makes a big difference and there was lots of crockery. The fact that it had an enclosed veranda was great for our dog. We made use of the pool and gym the only negative is I would make sure you book the pool especially in busy holiday periods. We would definitely recommend it.
We had a lovely stay and found the Skylark beach house very well equipped, clean and it even had a 'mud daddy' so we could wash our dogs after being on the beach. The location is excellent and we would definitely consider staying there again.
I highly recommend Sea Urchins Cottage at The Bay Filey. The house was spotlessly clean, and had everything necessary for a wonderful break. It was in a great position, with just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandy Shores. The cottage has been refurbished beautifully and is very well equipped. Superb location for the beach and nearby attractions. Communication was excellent. We hope to return soon.
We've stayed in lots of properties at the Bay Filey over the years and this has to be one of our favourites. The extra large kitchen diner is so spacious and bright and the bedrooms also large and comfortable. Lots of lovely personal touches make a big difference. The only things that could improve the cottage IMO would be a normal shower head in addition to the rainfall showers as it is quite difficult to rinse just using the rainfall. Also, a small airfryer would be really handy and save having to fire up the oven.
We arrived to find a very well equipped, spotlessly clean cabin. Position on site is excellent and we enjoyed watching the Heron and Ducks on the lake. Last but not least a very comfortable bed. We look forward to staying in the future.
Love staying at the bay . Apartment cosy and fully equipt. Just a guaranteed home from home in a location ideal for walking. Lots if traditional pub grub and coffe and cake stops. Dog heaven

Have used Filey Bay Direct a few times to book holiday homes at The Bay. The booking process is quick and easy and the selection of properties is good too. Booked Sailaway Cottage as an anniversary present for my parents. The house and location were spot on and the welcome hamper was a nice touch. The house was spotless when we arrived and everything was ready for us. We had some family and friends visit whilst we were there and the house was great for entertaining and may parents had a great time. We’ve booked again to stay at another property over Christmas 2026.
Last stayed in this property in summer 2017. It was just the job for a short late September break, very comfortable settee in lounge, equally excellent beds, 2 really good walk in showers and a well stocked kitchen etc. Nice quiet location and no issues with sleepers at all - maybe helped with some shingle stones on them. Parking not a problem at all on this occasion even without no dedicated space. Would maybe say potential improvement if possible for a slightly larger TV upgrade and not sure if we were unlucky but the TV reception wasn't brilliant and not sure why but weren't able to ge...more
Sea views. Cosy warm cottage. Dog friendly. Very well equipped. This is the best place we have stayed in at The Bay Filey. Highly recommended. Will be returning as there is always something to do. This time we walked the Esk Valley Path up on the Borth York Moors and really appreciated having such a comfortable place to come back to. Felt very homely. Thank you!

My husband and I really enjoyed our 6 night break at the Lake House. From our initial booking to leaving the property there was excellent communication. It's in a great situation, right on the lake and we enjoyed watching the antics of the birds occupying it, along with a fabulous murmeration from the starlings most evenings. The bed was comfortable and everything you need in the kitchen for cooking was there. The holiday village is very attractive and it was lovely to be so close to the sea. I think we will be going back!
We had such an amazing stay, the house is fully kitted out with everything you could need. It was really clean and comfortable and felt like home from home. It was big enough for 4 adults and 2 children, with a really great outdoor space at the back. It felt really private too. We had an amazing weekend and will certainly be booking again.

Excellent property. Clean, near all amenities and beach. The only thing we did not like were the parking sleepers. Wood made and very old. Pot holes etc. Wood be better tarmac. We noticed a lot of other lodges parking had tarmac now. Apart from that I would definitely recommend and will be going back in the near future.
Blue Anchor Retreat had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s in a good location close to site amenities with good parking and many nearby places to visit. Being on one level and having two showers was just the type of accommodation we need so we will be back again.
Perfect lodge for 3 couples sharing. Lots of space with own private bathrooms. Good for walking from the door and good location to visit local beauty spots. We had a power cut for a couple of hours during our stay which was site wide but the site kept us informed what was going in. It didn't effect our holiday. We would definitely go back again.
Had a great stay here! It was lovely to have a Christmas tree in the lounge. Made the stay feel very festive.

I've been coming to The Bay for years with my dogs, and always struggled with the lack of enclosed garden space across many of the properties. It never stopped me going, was just one of those things I put up with! Alana Bay address's this problem as the front decking area has had clear Perspex added between the gaps of the decking fencing so is completely enclosed. As a dog owner to little dogs, I've been to many places where it has been advertised as dog friendly to find fences with big gaps so this was a breath of fresh air to be able to let the dogs out with no worries. All three generations enjoyed our stay. The beach was amazing! The holiday village was exceptionally well cared for. It was a very pleasant environment with lovely walks along the coastal path. The house was comfortable and gave us a restful break. Paula from the management company was very helpful and responded positively and quickly when ee contacted her.
We recently went back to Filey stayed twice at the same place, very cosy, we stayed at Christmas and went back in late January. I would recommend anyone stay here very clean cosy. Love Filey!
This was the second time we stayed at The Bay but the first at Sophie's Beach house. The location is spot on and a beautiful area to stay in. The property we stayed in last year was stunning extremely well kitted out for a family with a Dog and had a welcome pack which was really appreciated. I dint think it cost much to pop a pint of milk in the fridge yo be honest and its the little touches that make you book again. All this was lacking at Sophie's. There was no welcome pack and only 1 toilet roll for 2 bathrooms. We recieve 2 the next day. We found the house to be small and it felt cramped ...more
We booked for 3 nights, the downstairs bedroom and ensuite were very spacious which was important for me as I have mobility issues. We really enjoyed spending family time at the large table in the evenings, our son and his family were staying at another property on the site, but came to us in the evenings and we were all able to sit and play board games. The kitchen is small but compact and had everything we needed. The only issue I found was the sofas were too soft and for me getting up was a little difficult, however I just made use of the dining chairs.
