Beautifully furnished well-equipped one bedroom apartment with patio garden and walk-in shower, close to amenities. Perfect for a solo traveller or a couple, plus extra bed for a small child too.

Lovely place,fair weather (but this is England!!).Pub over the road had good food,so no cooking all week.Nice apartment too.Would recommend.

Me and the dogs had a lovely few days at the Hideaway. The weather was glorious so lovely walks on the beach and cliffs. The Hideaway is very cosy, clean and comfortable.

Hideaway was a perfect accomodation for my partner and myself as my partner needs it to be accessible due to him having a stroke. We immediately knew when entering that it was perfect. The appartment was immaculate comfortable and homely. All the amenities were in walking distance for us which was a bonus we will definitely be returning

We have recently spent 4 weeks at the Hideaway at The Bay Filey .The Apartment is Very Modern & fully refurbished . Everything provided for a comfortable stay .In a nice position on The Bay . Excellent communication throughout with Filey Bay Direct.

I arrived at the Hideaway and was able to park right opposite the entrance to unload. I was pleased to find the accommodation wonderfully clean, compact but extremely well equipped and furnished.
All the equipment was easy to use and the central heating was on with instructions detailing how to use.
As we had a very cold spell with snow it was great to be able to come home to a warm space and to be able to dry wet coats.
The appartment was well situated to access all amenities such as pub, shop etc, though not noisy.
The bedroom has french doors to a small patio area should you be blessed with good weather, a lovely comfortable bed with pristine bedding.
I was very satisfied with everything.

We have stayed at The Bay before but this was the first time at The Hideaway. It has recently been fully refurbished to a very high standard and beautifully decorated. It's very clean and well kitted out with some thoughtful extras. We were able to park just across the road for the duration of our stay and the location is very convenient for all the amenities, the path to the beach and the grassy areas for dog walks. I even managed an early walk to the beach to catch the sun rise over the sea! We enjoyed a walk along the beach to Filey for lunch and a browse in the shops. There are plenty of places to eat and many that welcome dogs.

Stayed for 3 nights at the Hideaway on The Bay. The one bedroom apartment was ideal for what we wanted. It was very clean, extremely well furnished, in pristine condition and dog friendly.
The location of the Hideaway on the Bay was also very good and we had no problem finding a parking space. Even though it is opposite the pub you don’t hear any noise and it is in an ideal location for the shop and a short walk to the beach path.
We hope to return at some point in the future.

The Hideaway is a lovely apartment,very modern and immaculate,everything you need.
The only criticism we have is the shower unit is very good and large, except for people with poor mobility,there should be some grab rails in the unit as it is difficult getting in and out.
Would certainly recommend this apartment and we hope to go again.

Thanks for the review. The shower was designed with the lowest possible step to get in at only around 4 inches but we will see what can be done to improve entry and exit. We do have other properties with wet room showers or lower trays.

Loved it just a shame it’s getting more expensive to stay we wanted it again next year but gone up again .Fab place near all the amenities just across the road .lovely walk to Filey on the beach took us 45 mins then at the end lovely coffee stop

Really high and apartment beautifully presented and in the perfect location. It had everything we needed and we were surprised Just how much attention to detail I’ve been put into making this apartment such a lovely place to stay. The Hideaway was a lovely apartment - we’ve stayed in apartments before on the Bay and this was definitely the best so far. The apartment was in an excellent location - close to the pub and other amenities. Even though we were right by the pub, we were not disturbed by noise or traffic. The apartment had everything we needed and we cannot thank Paula enough for being on hand to answer any questions we had. We really liked the library of books in the living room and the inclusion of games, magazines and jigsaws. The bed was really comfortable - as was the sofa in the living room. The decor was modern and stylish - really complimenting the seaside location. I love the fact that this was a ground floor apartment and there was a table and chairs outside for us to enjoy the sunshine. All in all, we would 100% return in the future and would recommend to all.

Lovely apartment, perfect for a couple and small dogs. Great location opposite the pub etc but still quiet. Love the Bay and would certainly stay in Hideaway again..( could do with a doormat at the back for wet weather.)
