This is the best accommodation we have stayed in at the Bay and we have stayed at a few. The position on Blue Anchor road was great, it was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Beds and sofa really comfy, all appliances straight forward and easy to use and smart Tv's in lounge and main bedroom. We will definitely be back.
Lovely house got everything you need think the settees voukd do with a update ie making it softer and high back all in all was lovely
This is the third time we have been to The Bay, although the first in this property. The house was lovely, the beds were comfier than any of the others I've stayed in. The private garden was fabulous especially having 2 dogs. Location was good and ideal for a wonder round the meadows or a trip too the beech side cafe which I highly recommend. Definitely recommend booking through Filey Bay Direct we will definitely book again. 5 stars all round.
I’ve visited The Bay at Filey on a couple of occasions and always wanted to stay in one of the “blue houses” Blue Bay did not disappoint A beautiful property in a beautiful location. Looking forward to a return visit
We enjoyed another very comfortable stay at Salty Dog. Everything was spot-on, very clean and very well-equipped. Nice grassy areas for the dog and a leisure stroll to the beach. We enjoyed trip to Filey and a trip to Whitby. We enjoyed a swim in the pool which is a very short walk away, and the shop was very handy for a few forgotten items but we'd booked a supermarket delivery to share with our family who were staying nearby in Blue Moon, another lovely property on the same road. Our only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer! We look forward to returning to The Bay in the future.
A great cottage! It had everything you need and more. Clean ,comfy and very close to the beach path. It was very easy to book and everything went smoothly. I would definitely recommend staying here and I would love to visit the cottage again,without hesitation.
This is the second time we have been in this apartment and it was as good this time as the first time. Its the ideal location for any hops to Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. We will be back in either the end of this year or in the new year, depending on the weather.
Had a super holiday in Skylark beach house very comfortable and well equipped. Filey bay is well located between Scarborough and Bridlington our little dogs had a great time too. Will definitely return.

Norman’s Nook was immaculately clean and attractively presented. It was convenient for all the activities you can enjoy at The Bay, including the beautiful beach. We have booked through this company a number of times and their properties do not disappoint. Moreover, the service and communication are excellent.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
A comfortable holiday home to spend time in . The house itself was clean and tidy, facilities were quite adequate. All was in good working condition. Bed was comfortable. The location for Filey was spot on with easy access to the beach. Didn’t use the pool or gym so can’t comment. Holiday park is quite dark in the evening so take a torch. Maybe the owners could and should fix the broken street light and or install a few more. Would return . Would be beneficial to have better parking options such as a named space for each house .
We adored everything about Sandy Shores! Highly recommend it for a dog-friendly and child-friendly holiday. To have a completely dog-friendly beach just 10 mins walk away was a big win. We only used the pub once but there are lots of amenities within easy reach. A great adventure playground (though needs a bit of upkeep as one swing was broken). Clean, comfortable and spacious house. Especially loved the balcony, outside seating area, comfy beds, and open plan living/ kitchen area. Will definitely be back!!
Very clean and tidy good location nice area around the lake not too far from the bars and restaurants and shop beach is nice parking at lodge is good all round very satisfied will go again
My family were able to get three properties all close together for a week in August. Everyone had plenty of space and it was easy to gather together for family meals and. The mums, dads and children walked down to the beach every day. The nearby play park was enjoyed by everyone aswell as the leisure centre for swimming. There were interesting places not too far away in Bridlington and Filey. Everything worked very well. The accommodation was excellent. We had a great stay, the property was clean and comfortable. The location was ldeal for all North Yorkshire locations of which we visited a few. The site is well situated clean and tidy and plenty of amenities, I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for a great stay.

This property was just right fit the job! It had everything needed and was clean and well equipped. The lounge and kitchen area were comfortable and well laid out to create maximum space.
Cleanliness was not as good as other properties we have stayed in on the site. I also do not think that it should be marketed as dog friendly. It is not possible to use the balcony, which was one of the selling points, as we were told the dog was not allowed upstairs. If you have a dog it is best to call Filey Bay Direct to clarify the rules on what is allowed. Having said all this we did have a good holiday.
outstanding home, large bedroom was such a lovely surprise, the size and comfort, wet floor shower rain fall was wonderful, just wish we would have stayed longer. this place had everything needed and more, tea coffee sugar, pods drinks. cleaning things. sea view side ways of balcony was lovely on a morning to sit outside. beds very comfortable and pillows. towels left out and enough. will for sure be staying here again.
Had a lovely weekend with plenty of long beach walks. The beach house was lovely, with comfy beds and a good shower. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck with a cuppa. The booking process was really straightforward.
We had a 3 night stay at the Oreo shack and really loved it. It was so comfortable - beds / sofas and had all you need for a cosy coastal stay. Well positioned near all facilities and the beach path. Communication with and from Filey bay direct was excellent. Highly recommend
Lovely weekend. Good location of lodge. Wasn’t as clean as other lodges we’d stayed in and beds weren’t as comfortable, but still a very pleasant stay. Overall would recommend this lodge.
Had a lovely time away, great size house & perfect for our party of 8 plus two dogs. Perfect location with a great dog walking track right next to the house & a short walk to the beach. We all found the accommodation to be very comfortable, quiet & well equipped, we especially loved the large dining area where we enjoyed a couple of nice family meals. Having the pool & arcades was an extra bonus for the kids. Would definitely return & recommend to others.
Blue Anchor Retreat is in a peaceful location ,The place its self is in excerlent condition and spotless. I had a week here and will be coming back . Any problems just contact Customer Service direct and things sorted stright away for you . I would recomend this property and the company
We stayed at Sophie’s beach house for my mums birthday weekend and we all had a wonderful time. The beach hut is very close to the beach which was perfect for us with two dogs. The hut was spotless and tidy, the only downside was the sofa and chair in the living room - they weren’t the comfiest and it was difficult to all sit together and watch the tv in the evenings. The bifolding doors are a really nice touch to the beach house, we just wished the balcony was a little more secure for the dogs but this didn’t make much of a difference to us as we were out most of the time. The Lodge is beautiful overlooking the lake and great that it is dog friendly -our old westie loved it there . Over the years we have stayed in many different accommodations on The Bay but I think this one is our favourite it’s very clean and modern with everything you need ,the only thing was the log burner is just for display which is a shame as the weather wasn’t very kind to us later in the week but nether the less the heating is brilliant in the lodge so wasn’t a problem . I would highly recommend The Lake House , location is great for lovely beach walks too .

We have recently returned from a 4 night stay at Pebble Place and loved every minute. The property itself was perfect for us – family of 4 with two young kids plus two grandparents who joined us for 2 nights. All of the rooms are spacious, clean and decorated lovely. It really is a home from home. The property is also brilliantly located on The Bay estate, close to the Square with the pub, shop and leisure facilities. It's only 15 minutes from the beach on a really lovely walk (although the final approach to the beach is pretty steep). I would recommend Pebble Place to anyone looking ...more

We enjoyed a last minute get away to Bempton View. Fantastic location, close to great facilities and a short 5 minute walk to the dog friendly beach. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again soon!
We had a perfect stay in this lovely house. A large family dining table and open plan living allowed us to share and enjoy all mealtimes. The bedrooms were of perfect size for all ages. Clean and tidy bathrooms. Every possible appliance or utensil in the kitchen was available. There was outdoor seating with table and chairs, buckets and spades for the beach. Basic supplies were available on arrival and communication about the booking was easy to follow and just lovely. A very roomy property, just what you need for 8 family members. The location is perfect, very near to swimming pool and other amenities. Second time we have stayed here and the addition of a wine fridge is great because the main fridge is only really big enough for food and a few beers. A very enjoyable stay.
