First hired this exact chalet in Oct 2024 and loved it so much we came back for Oct 2025. Guess what? Yes we’ll be back in Oct 2026 too. This chalet is warm, spacious, cosy and comfortable. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had a welcoming feel
Booked this as near a wedding venue we attended, arrived later then expecting which was no problem staff very helpful, beautiful location right by the sea, roundhouse amazing.
Last year I hired Spray, this year Spray and Sunset as we are so impressed with the cleanliness, comfort and welcoming feel of the chalets. Sunset is right next door to Spray which meant we were co-located. These bungalows are a real find!
I stayed at one of the roundhouse near the swimming pool & had an amazing time. It was the first time holidaying on my own & was made to feel very welcome both by staff & other friendly holiday makers. I felt very comfortable eating out on my own at The Highwayman Restaurant (they do a wonderful carvery here on a Sunday, with the restaurant overlooking the sandunes). A relaxing time walking, swimming & reading whilst staying in a delightful & unique round house. I've been coming here since 1978 & hope to come next year. Moonlight chalet is in a great location with great views,very clean & ideal location for walking. Good base for visiting the local area.
We had a lovely stay in the roundhouse. We were a litle unsure as we booked if it would be big enough as we have a large dog, but our fears were totally wrong. The roundhouse was just perfect for us as a couple and our dog. The position of this was excelllent. We could walk out the door and straight down to the dunes and beach. The house had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The village of Winterton is only a short walk so we didn't need to use our car much at all, onlly to Horsey to see the Seals which was an excellent experiance. A good sized bungalow. Nicely decorated and well equipped. It’s a fabulous place for walking with the dog.
We’ve been visiting Hermanus for 10 years now. We love it, especially having the sea view. We try to visit 2 or 3 times a year because we know what we get and enjoy it so much.

Can't really say much only BRILLIANT as usual!!!!! Thats why we keep coming back clean comfortable amazing views quiet relaxing and cheap for what you get and the carvery on Sunday is 10 out of 10

From the moment we arrived we had a wonderful relaxing stay. The location is excellent with extensive sea views.
A great place to stay right next to the beach & 15min drive from the amazing seal colony. Bungalows are comfortable & well appointed.
We keep asking for hooks to hang our coats the heater in the bathroom didn't work nor did the tin opener but that said this is a perfect getaway for a short break lovely location with the sound of the sea great fish and chips just a stones throw away clean , warm , comfortable
This is our 11th year staying at hermanus. The size of the accomodation is perfect for us and winterton is a beautiful village. We do miss the games room though!! The decor is tired but it is great to be able to bring the dog.
First visited more than 20 Years ago,have been several times, never disappoints.We will be back next year.
Again another very nice stay at hermanus holiday park, would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to stay in this area
The fridge was a little unclean. I think a tea towel should be provided. The sofa also smelt quite sweaty! We have stayed in a double roundhouse in the past and this seemed to be a better standard. We were also tucked away from everything.
We had a beautiful autumn break the local pub Fisherman’s Return had a brilliant menu even a breakfast menu too. Lovely walks on the beach seeing loads of seals I always call Winterton my happy place
Would highly recommend, is our second time of staying, breath taking views, internets not very good, tele keeps cracking up, so need a better WiFi signal included but apart from that can’t fault it, will be returning
I have been holidaying here now, usually twice a year for the last 10 years and can't fault it. Great location, friendly staff and accommodation that suits our family of 4 and 2 dogs with everything we need. Better still, we arrived this time to find our chalet had been completely re-vamped to a high standard. As usual on our visit we enjoyed the great Sunday Carvery, (a must whilst your here!) and several other evenings in the restaurant, all at very competitive pricing. Already booked again!
We spent 3 nights in this quaint and comfortable Roundhouse just a step away from the car park and with panoramic sea views. Accommodation was comfortable and sparklingly clean. The site was quiet but safe and it was the perfect launch pad for our adventures around the Norfolk countryside. Will be back.
My 7th Hermanus visit this year so far one more planned for November I think the frequency of my visits say it all well done Hermanus team
We loved everything about hermanus. Accommodation was fabulous. Staff friendly. Even weather was lovely!
Stayed in one of the newly renovated chalets, nice and spacious, well equipped and nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and we were able to take our doggie in the lounge, which when we visited a few years ago you couldn't take dogs in. This is a big improvement. Had a nice meal in the restaurant there as well ☺️ All in all a lovely stay, just wish we'd stayed longer. Looking forward to returning again soon. Many thanks
In 2014 I booked Hermanus for a family weekend because my husbands family Iwas at the time around 38 people and it was difficult to all get together. We have just celebrated our 11th visit as we missed 2020 because of Covid, Hermanus has allowed us to have quality time all together the accommodation is perfect something to suit everyone whether in the cute 2 person roundhouse or 3 bedroom bungalows. We always eat in the family bar and the staff are really helpful setting the tables out together and looking after us. Booked as a big birthday treat, was disappointed as it is very dated. Could be fabulous, but isn't. Clean inside but door, porch and railings filthy. Quirky, basic accommodation is a better description. Shame really.

We have been to Hermanus for the past 4 years, staying here 2 or 3 times a year. The Roundhouses are fabulous to stay in but this time we stayed in a chalet with our friends. Lovely spot to stay in and highly recommend. There is everything you need in the village so we never have to leave the site. We took our dog who loves the beach, and staying here we were 5 minutes from the beach. Highly recommend!
Only one issue . Security light on property opposite goes on and off all night, as there was no blind or curtains on the door this disturbed us and our sleep.
As always, good value, fair price and chalet well looked after. The chalet has been updated and is lovely. Again, as always, the Hermanus Team are top people, right from booking, through the stay, and when leaving. They do their best to help and make the stay enjoyable. Thank you. See you next year.

Love staying here such a wonderful place, we normally stay in a round house. This year we had the whole family to celebrate my husbands 60th Birthday, this is his favourite place to come and unwind. Our 3 bedroom bungalow was fabulous had everything we needed and was spotless, especially as it’s dog friendly so you never know about cleanliness. Could not fault it, staff are always so welcoming and we stayed for a carvery roast wow what a wonderful selection to choose from. We will be back next year thanks for another great visit!
We have stayed many times, it's our place to relax,lovely village with a great pub and lovely walks on the beaches and lovely to see the seals,we will be back next year
Arrived during the heatwave. Upstairs was very hot as blinds and curtains had been left open and we arrived late afternoon. There were no fans. Both toilets were downstairs and all 3 bedrooms upstairs, an issue for me in particular. No hairdryer or bedside lamps. Otherwise agreeably impressed with very high standard of cleanliness and furnishings. Pool heated?? I don’t think so
Amazing all round - highly recommend. Loved walking down to the dunes with the dog every morning. The village is beautiful too.
