Our two-bedroom semi-detached bungalows, Moonlight, Sunlight, Surf and Waves, have all been newly refurbished for the 2024 season!! The perfect property choice if you want a comfortable self-catering option with a little more space.

They have all been completely renovated to a high standard, featuring two bedrooms (a double and a twin), a comfortable family lounge with TV, a bathroom featuring a large shower, toilet and basin, and a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.

They are double-glazed and fully centrally heated, so you can enjoy these bungalows all year round. All heating and electricity is included in the price. Bed linen is included and all beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but you will need to bring your own towels.

A very comfortable stay at Hermanus. Lovely chalet with every we needed for the long weekend. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location in the beautiful coastal village of Winterton on Sea. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Always a pleasure in staying here and very kindly updated my accommodation due to maintenance on the property I was going to stay in and was very lucky to stay in the new updated bungalows, beautifully decorated and very comfortable
Am retuning in may and look forward to my stay
Have been returning here for nearly 7 years always have a lovely time and so close to the dunes and beach
Would recommend highly to anybody who wants a nice break of longer

We have stayed at Hermanus in Surf bungalow quite a few times and have always been happy with the accommodation. We returned recently for our New Year break to find that it had been refurbished to a very high standard, we were very impressed and delighted with the result.

Nice area. The bungalow definitely needs upgrading now. £125 per night is expensive for the decor. Hermanous staff were friendly and helpful. The walk to the beach was lovely. Once upgraded will be worth the money but think the undecorated should be cheaper.

To find we had paid more money for a bungalow that had not been updated. After staying in an updated on our previous visit we were very disappointed this time. We brought our grandson with us he caught his foot on the cracked Lino in the kitchen. Very disappointed

Ideal place and location for a stay near the coast with young children. The village of Winterton is lovely with a very nice pub and fish and chip shop. The beach was a short easy walk from the bungalow and was quiet and clean with clean toilets and some nice food places.
The park it self was nice and quiet and the children loved the pool and playground on site.
The location is a short drive to to the busy town of Great Yarmouth with all the arcades and amusements.
The bungalow was well equipped and set out layout wise. It was very clean and had a grass area out the front for the children to play on. The bungalow could do with a few update to make the stay a bit more comfortable. Thicker curtain would help with the morning sun in the bedrooms and the shower over the bath could be made more stable.
Overall we loved the location and resort and would definitely return

Nice place to stay in an area with lots to do. It would be nice if the bungalow was renovated like some others but it was still comfortable and in good condition for its age.

Always a good stay the location is great the kids love the walk but since they had the fire the pool table etc hasn't been replaced and this does give children something else to do.

All great, nice chalet close to the beach and the pub.

Once again a very pleasant stay with hermanus. Only drawback was the condition of the property. Very dated and in parts badly needing attention.wallpaper coming off the walls and the flooring in the kitchen was ripped and dirty in places. But that aside we always have a peaceful and very quiet stay.

Staying at Hermanus was as great as always.
Sadly they haven't had the time this winter to refurb the accommodation we stayed in.
I looked in one that had been completed and they are finished to a very high standard.
It will not deter me from visiting again.
They are working very hard to finish all the accommodation as well as repairing the damage from a fire they sadly had 2 years ago.
Lovely family that run the holiday park and food from the restaurant was great as normal.

We where really impressed with the cleanliness and the size of the place very comfortable. We had the best view. The staff who work here are very helpful and informative, nothing is ever a problem. Look forward to visiting again sometime soon.

We love staying over the Easter break at Hermanus, the accommodation is perfect for us, lovely sea views, love watching the sun rise each morning. Easy walk to the beach and local amenities. Quiet, clean and a lovely relaxing stay.

Additional bonus this weekend was that the club was open over the weekend, amazing food, lovely team serving and great value for money. Will definitely be back

It’s the location that really is a winner! Although this looks across the main car park the view is still beautiful. You can see the pretty roundhouses, the dunes and the sea from the front room and bedroom! Very comfortable beds, the whole bungalow has ample room and is centrally heated.
The shower is substantial. It is dated but don’t let this put you off, I believe they are currently being refurbished. Will definitely be back thank you! Staff very accommodating too.

My stay was great the bungalow had everything I needed, although a little dated it worked fine. Would recommend a stay here as ideally located for hiking and the beach.

We have just enjoyed another lovely stay at Hermanus. My wife and I have been coming for over 20 years and now bring our grandchildren.

This stay was another example of a very enjoyable and relaxing few days away, excellent VFM and helpful staff. We have already made provisional bookings for 2023

Another relaxing visit. The Hermanus team are all friendly and welcoming.
The food menu is extensive and very good.
The accommodation is a little dated, but well equipped and very comfortable. For us it’s a home from home.

The location is beautiful, in the heart of Winterton valley and the Marhams.
As always we look forward to our next time in October.

We have been staying in this chalet for 30+ years and it's tired interior has had a big influence on my scores. The bar area, lounge and reception are fabulous. As we have several dogs in our party it is nice that we can take the dogs into the club house.

We had a fabulous stay as always. We love Surf and rebooked already for next year. Ideal for my 3 Granddaughters. Though the accommodation is dated it is still comfortable and suits our needs. Be even better when it hopefully dies get a revamp.

I'm a returning visitor to Hermanus Holiday Park, we have been coming for about 10 years now. We usually stay in the Lighthouse Chalets but this time we stayed in the Surf bungalow.

The Park itself is great. Its set in a small village (there is a local shop, post office, chip shop and pub all in strolling distance) and the park itself is set on the sand dunes which are a SSSI because of some wildlife there. They make a lovely short walk to the beach which is quiet and unspoilt. There is a mobile cafe type business there selling coffee and so on. There is an ice cream van comes in the afternoon. You will often see seals in the sea there while swimming.

On site at Hermanus is currently undergoing renovation following a fire so not all the usual facilities are open or at least not open fully so check with them if there is something you need as part of your holiday. There is an onsite pub which has some nice ales, there is (usually) great food available in the pub too. There is a restaurant on site which does a super sunday carvery but this was still undergoing refit when we visited (August 2022). There is a medium size swimming pool with a toddler pool, and childrens play area. These both appear open now. There was a small amusement arcade but this is currently closed as it was at the centre of the fire. The park is quiet. If you are looking for a big, busy, lively, loud park then this is not it. This is a beautiful location for a relaxing holiday, lots of beach time, great for families with younger kids.

The accomodation is very nice. The bungalow offers a lot more space (as big as some people's own house) and all the facilities you would need. Nice spacious kitchen with oven, hob, fridge freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc. and pots, pans, crockery, etc. You can easily self cater like being at home. Heating, electric and hot water are inclusive. the living room is spacious, has a nice lawned area to look out over and you can just see the sea from here. There is a TV with freeview if you need a distraction. 2 beds, one has a double one 2x single. plenty of storage space. Comfy beds, all linen provided, all clean and good. The bathroom has a shower over bath, a sink and the toilet. All worked well and was fine.

Decor style is homely and comfortable. Its not fancy or chic or super modern. Its a sort of timeless feeling of nice relaxed holiday times. Everything was clean and in good working order.

Doubtless, we will be back again.

The accommodation was great, plenty of room and very clean and tidy. My only gripe is that the curtains in the bedroom are to thin so the sun woke us up at 5am. But apart from that is was great and we will definitely book again.
