Our chalets offer a comfortable and affordable place to stay, with everything you need for an enjoyable and relaxing break.

Our 4 berth ground floor chalets have two bedrooms 1 with a double bed and another with twin beds.

All Chalets include a lounge/dining area, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with full-size bath and overhead shower.

Bed linen is included and all beds will be made up ready for your arrival, but you will need your own towels.

We love staying at 51 chalet every year and my daughter and dog love walking on the dunes. Daughter goes swimming every day so nice that the pool is still open

We love Hermanus, and have been coming here for years. The location is great, and to have a pool is the icing on the cake. The properties though, are a bit hit and miss. This one is old and dated inside. The carpet is thin and threadbare, worn through in places. The old wallpaper is ancient and ugly. The drawers in the bedrooms smell so bad inside I couldn't use them. There are no lamps (not one) so it's the bright lights or nothing. There is a vague damp smell in the double bedroom. We had problems with the kitchen tap and bathroom light, but both were being fixed when we returned from a trip the next day. (They let themselves in) There was no welcome pack, (my friend in a roundhouse had a welcome pack with milk etc). It's a great location, but I would avoid this one until (if) it gets updated. It's not cheap, so I would have expected a bit better tbh.

We first came to Hermanus Holidays in 1978 and visited many times as a family over the years. In the earlier years there was evening entertainment The past 7 years it has been my daughter and my dog, first 4 years in a roundhouse but changed to chalet 51 as it has 2 bedrooms. It is nice and relaxing and the Highwayman serves great food too. If you want a variation there is Fishermans Returna pub in the village and a good fish and chip shop. Great walks on the dunes with the dog and there is a outdoor heated pool which was still open on the second week in September

It was my daughter and her two friends, plus two dogs, that stayed in the chalet for the week. We just dropped them off.

Right from my first phone call to Hermanus, through the booking etc, and finally the stay, it's been great.

My daughter was really upset that she had to leave as she'd really enjoyed it.

Thank you to the Hermanus Team for all they do. See you again in a few weeks time when we. the parents, take a well deserved break.

This was our third visit to Hermanus ! The location is fabulous, with direct access through the dunes to the beach. A lovely walk along the beach takes you to the seals at Horsey Gap. The village has a great pub & a shop, which also has a cafe. The chalet was spacious, well equipped & reasonably priced. Perfect for our break. We have previously stayed in a double roundhouse which I would highly recommend but we were very pleased the chalet for our last minute trip to see the seal pups.

Have stayed at hermanus over the last 15 years and always a pleasure to holiday there. The accomodation is comfortable and well equipped,although we felt in certain areas this chaleti was in need of updating. Our bathroom had a rusty shower rail and the plumbing from the toilet was dripping rusty water.it didn't help that we had an infestation of flying ants that seemed to appear from behind the fire place. But apart from that we always enjoy our stay there and will continue to holiday there in the future. Its a safe place to take our grandchildren who always enjoy themselves. Hopefully we will be back again next year.
