Stayed in this accomodation before. Very clean , comfortable within a lovely sunny position. Love the site and the area . We enjoy being able to walk to the dunes and sea .
We have been staying here for a number of years and nothing has changed, it is still as good and comfortable as when we first came. Walking on the dunes and beach, cycling to other resorts in the area and just peace and quiet for a very relaxing holiday, a home from home. All of the staff are very pleasant and helpful. We forgot our towels but were able to hire a pack thank goodness. You can get good meals in the Highwayman Restaurant on site. Pub, Post Office and Local store available and the Fish and Chip shop does a good selection of fries too. Cooking facilities in the roundhouse ...more
This is our fourth year coming here. The location is perfect for access to the beach. This roundhouse is perfect for us and our dog. We are returning in October but staying in one of the chalets.
We love staying at Hermanus and have been quite a few times, however I do feel that the roundhouses are not quite luxury. I know space is tight, but the bedroom is very small and awkward for the person sleeping near the wall. Difficult to get out and nowhere to put a drink/ phone. It says well equipped kitchen, but only 3 of everything provided, even mugs and cutlery. Both of you can't even have 2 drinks without having to wash up. The crockery is good quality though. The bungalow was ideal for us with comfortable beds and sofas a kitchen and bathroom with all we required bedding was provided,there is a lovely outside swimming pool and you are right next to the sand dunes we will definitely go back
Always enjoy coming to Hermanus and Winterton (village stuck in time......please don't ever change....luv it the way it is). Ok Hermanus.....accomodation suits our needs....like the peace n quiet....proximity to the beach and village....literally on your doorstep. By car.... Yarmouth - 10/15 mins Potter Heigham - 10mins Norwich - 30/40mins If you want a no fuss basic holiday....this will do fine...... Nothing to far away by car.

Our 3rd time staying in a roundhouse at hermanus and will be visiting again. Lovely accommodation, beautiful views to wake up to and great area for walking. A fantastic roast dinner too on site.
We had a wonderful experience recently staying at one of the beautiful Round Houses at Hermanus Holidays. Winterton is truly an unspoiled gem on the Norfolk Coast. The Round House overlooks the dunes and sea, and the view is truly breathtaking. The Hermanus site is clean, peaceful, and also unspoiled. The staff are friendly and personable and go out of their way to ensure that your stay is first-class. We had a great meal at the restaurant, with excellent food, great service, and great prices. Amazing location, lovely staff super helpful and friendly. The deluxe round houses (pet friendly) have everything you need and are comfortable for a short stay. We also had beautiful weather which makes a difference as you are able to use the bench table outside the roundhouse. Facilities looked good too. ( didn’t use them though) the beach is fantastic and dog friendly. A wonderful holiday
We really enjoyed our short break. Very cute roundhouse with everything you need! Very dog friendly everywhere we went. Great location with a fantastic beach just over the dunes. The beach was beautiful. Parking right outside our roundhouse and the receptionist was very polite and informative. Our room was ready early so we were just allowed in which was great. Great pub called the Fishermans return in walking distance. Great food and people and again our dog was welcome. Overall we would go back
As always had a lovely weekend with friends. Bungalow was well equipped and very comfortable and spacious, staff are always very polite and helpful and had a lovely meal in the restaurant, we have been coming here for quite a few years and hope to carry on
This is the second time that we have stayed in the Zephyrs and again it was perfect, and there is plenty of outside space to use when the weather is favourable. We have stayed a good number of times over the years and we just love going back. The staff are super friendly , polite and accommodating. The views are stunning , short walk to the sandy beach . The peace and the tranquility is just what a hard working family need to chill. Have already booked for next summer and have extended our stay from 11 to 14 days. I would highly recommend Hermanus.
Second year we have stayed in round house 25, another wonderful break quirky clean comfortable and snug. Staff are friendly and helpful, spike does the best Sunday roast. The outside pool is an added bonus. Fantastic sea view. Thankyou too all the team. See u next year.

We’ve been coming to this place for over 10 years with the dogs as it’s such a beautiful location. The Hermanus site used to be very cheap and cheerful but over the years there has been investment and upgrade on both accommodation and facilities. As with everything these days prices have risen, not just at the site but pubs and restaurants in the area too - for us this means we have to question whether we will visit again which is sad.
What a delightful place to stay. On the sand dunes of Winterton on Sea. Beautiful outlook. The Roundhouse provided everything we needed and more. Charming accommodation. very comfortable and felt at home. I was sorry to leave. Would highly recommend this Holiday resort. I got up early in the morning and went for a walk over the Dunes to the beach, what a stunning place.
Its a very modern lovely chalet. The furniture is fine, one sofa and two chairs. Not the most comfortable or big sofa, but does the job. It was all very clean and fairly new. The beds were fine. All the floors and carpets were good condition. Nothing was really dirty or grotty. The kitchen is lovely with modern appliances. The only fault is the cookware, the frying pans are so deeply and badly scratched, I was picking out black dots of non stick coating (forever chemicals probably, I think they were tefal?) when gently trying to scramble eggs. My grandsons thoroughly enjoyed the site, the pool and play area were a huge hit and the close proximity to the beach was great. However I felt a bit of disappointment on arrival to the accommodation ! The steps and entrance were covered in pigeon poo, the front was covered in thick cobwebs and the door was dirty! the grounds around the property had dog poo at the back so the boys couldn't go and play unsupervised outside.The shared cloths line was unusable as it was so dirty. This was our first stay in a Round House, we were very surprised by the space inside. It was of modern decor and everything for a self-catering break was available. We really enjoyed our stay.

The chalets have been refurbished nicely and now have wi-fi. It was nice, up to a point, to be off-grid but this is an improvement. Chapeau!
This is the thirteenth year running we've had a family holiday at Hermanus with the properties we've rented getting bigger as grandchildren have come along. We all love the pool, the space, the restaurant for a meal out, the access via the dunes to the beautiful beach, the completely relaxed atmosphere ..... in fact everything about it suits us fine. See you again in 2026!
I cannot fault our stay at Hermanus Holidays. The staff were very attentive and any enquiries I had before we arrived were answered very promptly. Our Chalet was in the perfect position for us with a baby and toddler safe area and very quiet. The pool and play area were well maintained and safe. We only drank in the bar area so cannot comment on the food. Plenty to do in the area with a lovely beach on your doorstep and numerous villages and towns to visit in the Broads area I would highly recommend Wrexham Barns if you have young children. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Waves has had a lovely refurb. Bathroom and kitchen are now brand new and there are other improvements e.g. new flooring. Well-situated property with sea views and quick access to the beach. Would highly recommend.
Thank you for an amazing weekend at Hermanus. Our chalet was lovely - newly modernised to a very high standard and beautifully clean inside. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Loved the swimming pool. The holiday park is brilliantly located, just a short walk to a fabulous beach and a pretty village, with everything you need - great pub, Fish n' Chips, tearoom and village store. Highly recommend Hermanus & we will definitely be back

A fantastic stay in lovely accommodation and beautiful setting. Comfort was brilliant. The customer service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay of our time here. We only felt that having to vacate the accommodation by 9:30am was a little early for our family and we would have considered paying the extra cost to leave later had the times been different.
Lovely location nicely spaced out. quickly dealt with tap (not flowing) efficiently. impressed that they contacted us as we were delayed arriving, need to update T&C as only said notify if late, out of main season. small things to make stay even better - a bit of washing up liquid and soap, the towel package was very good quality towels. I will be back again and have recommended to a friend already.
Four of us, two couples, and a dog hired the Dawn luxury bungalow from Tuesday to Friday. The accommodation was roomy and clean. The location is great being walking distance to the sandy beach. The on site restaurant served excellent food as did the local pub. The fish and chips shop served excellent fish. I would thoroughly recommend Hermanus holidays
A beautiful holiday resort we now live in Cumbria but still travel 7 hrs to Hermanus, the location, the staff all so helpful The restaurant and bar been refurbished looks lovely. One small niggle think its time some of roundhouses need a refresh of paint but still stunning .
Arrived during the heatwave. Upstairs was very hot as blinds and curtains had been left open and we arrived late afternoon. There were no fans. Both toilets were downstairs and all 3 bedrooms upstairs, an issue for me in particular. No hairdryer or bedside lamps. Otherwise agreeably impressed with very high standard of cleanliness and furnishings. Pool heated?? I don’t think so
Lovely couple of days with wonderful views & walks.. our dog loved it. Staff all friendly and made us feel welcome. Food was very good & value for money, Accommodation was clean, spacious & comfortable. The beach hut cafe on the dunes does a lovely coffee & breakfast roll so worth a visit.
An easy process in booking, great, friendly support when and where needed, and a good chalet that met all expected needs. Thank you again. See you next year.
