Many thanks to Filey Bay Direct for our last minute short break at The Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay at Pebble Cottage. This beautiful cosy cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed. We would certainly stay there in the future.
Sea Esta - Break away with my daughter and grandson. I stayed in the main bedroom which was very comfortable. Daughter stayed on the single bed while my grandson happily made every effort to make the most of the bunkbeds for himself. Situated 5 mins from Filey, 15 either way from Bridlington and Scarborough and 45 mins from Whitby. We packed so much in while being able to enjoy the onsite Pool and other amenities. Leaving at 9:30 was no issue as we were able to head to Bridlington and park up in the harbour car park (which hasn’t happened in over 20 years). The bonus of being close to sea sid...more
We had a fabulous family stay at Caramel cottage and provided everything we needed. The space outside was lovely and thanks to the weather we dined outside in the evening. A lovely cottage.
I’ve visited The Bay at Filey on a couple of occasions and always wanted to stay in one of the “blue houses” Blue Bay did not disappoint A beautiful property in a beautiful location. Looking forward to a return visit
The Salty dog is very well equipped and immaculatey clean, ideally located for any of the attractions on rhe East coast, its position on the Bay is also very good, close to the ammenities, but with no passing traffic or people due to its position up a cul de sac making it private. We loved our stay and would definately stop again, one small suggestion? a rotary clothes line at the back of the buikding would be useful for drying beach clothes and dog towels
Had a super holiday in Skylark beach house very comfortable and well equipped. Filey bay is well located between Scarborough and Bridlington our little dogs had a great time too. Will definitely return.
Second year stay at Sea Urchins Cottage. Suits all our needs and in a superb location. Handy for the beach which we all enjoyed. Always sorry to leave and especially this year as the weather was great too.
We will definitely stay in Luna azul again - it was like a home from home. Everything had been thought of and the location is perfect.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Looking forward to coming back again soon.
We found the property very well equipped with hand wash etc. The location is ideal for those wanting to visit the beach.
We adored everything about Sandy Shores! Highly recommend it for a dog-friendly and child-friendly holiday. To have a completely dog-friendly beach just 10 mins walk away was a big win. We only used the pub once but there are lots of amenities within easy reach. A great adventure playground (though needs a bit of upkeep as one swing was broken). Clean, comfortable and spacious house. Especially loved the balcony, outside seating area, comfy beds, and open plan living/ kitchen area. Will definitely be back!!
Lovely cottage in good location. Everything needed was in cottage. Couple of small faults which have been notified to the agent after our stay, nothing that put us off or disrupted our stay. Would definitely stay in this cottage again.
Second time this year we have stayed in the wonderful cabin, well equipped with everything and more to help you enjoy your holiday. Grat location on the lake, no far from the amenities and the beach. Spotless and well maintained We will be booking for later in the year

My family were able to get three properties all close together for a week in August. Everyone had plenty of space and it was easy to gather together for family meals and. The mums, dads and children walked down to the beach every day. The nearby play park was enjoyed by everyone aswell as the leisure centre for swimming. There were interesting places not too far away in Bridlington and Filey. Everything worked very well. The accommodation was excellent. I have stayed several times at The Bay now. I love the location. The site is charming and so close to the beautiful beach. Whilst I would highly recommend accommodation I would now like to see some attention and up grade to the child play area, swimming pool and hospitality services on site. The coffee shop is greatly missed. I should also improve refuse collection to separate/recycle waste. My stay as always was a great pleasure a gem for all to enjoy. Which is the reason for my comments about site up grades.

Fantastic well equipped cottage, with everything you might want at home provided (particularly in the kitchen). Very clean throughout and a great location near the beach and the swimming pool. WiFi provided is fast enough for streaming TV (free Disney+ provided). Beds were very comfortable but the sofa is starting to become less comfortable with obvious signs of use. Only small issue we had was parking. The space outside the cottage is not allocated parking and it was often taken by other residents with multiple cars or people wanting to visit the beach. This was our second stay at Seahorse Lodge and would definitely recommend it to other families. The view from the lodge is fabulous and great for dog walking. Everything is provided making a great start to a memorable stay. The additional door, from the living area to the bedrooms, is a great boost. The cleanliness and comfort absolutely first class. One small suggestion for the future, maybe to consider the fencing round the verandah, as dogs are permitted to stay but can easily run off. Also a mention for the booking system which ran like clockwork. Thanks for a great holiday.
Very comfortable house and huge downstairs living area, very comfortable with everything we needed and great communication from company that rented the house. Some parts of resort facilities need a refresh, but not the house as it is brilliant and a great base to explore with a fantastic beach too. Pity weather wasn't great but no hesitation to recommend Sailaway Cottage.
What a beautiful lodge had a great week stay, all beds were so comfortable, the 2 walk in shower so powerful ,everything you need in a kitchen we took everything what we thought we would need but it was all ready there, sitting room,dining room and kitchen all in one great to talk while making food .

Had a lovely time away, great size house & perfect for our party of 8 plus two dogs. Perfect location with a great dog walking track right next to the house & a short walk to the beach. We all found the accommodation to be very comfortable, quiet & well equipped, we especially loved the large dining area where we enjoyed a couple of nice family meals. Having the pool & arcades was an extra bonus for the kids. Would definitely return & recommend to others.
This was our third stay at Sea Urchin beach house. It is very comfortable and beautifully decorated and furnished. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need. Looking forward to returning.
Disappointed with the arcade. Machines not working. The pool was over crowded and the changing room needed cleaning. The Bay is a lovely place but needs updating.
We stayed in this lovely lake house for just 3 nights, and loved it. Such a beautiful spot overlooking the lake. Given that it was the school holidays, it was a lot quieter that we had expected. Both beds seamed to have a slope on them but we soon got used to that. All furniture, appliances and finished are to a very high quality. We just loved it and hope to re visit ASAP.
We stayed at Sophie’s beach house for my mums birthday weekend and we all had a wonderful time. The beach hut is very close to the beach which was perfect for us with two dogs. The hut was spotless and tidy, the only downside was the sofa and chair in the living room - they weren’t the comfiest and it was difficult to all sit together and watch the tv in the evenings. The bifolding doors are a really nice touch to the beach house, we just wished the balcony was a little more secure for the dogs but this didn’t make much of a difference to us as we were out most of the time. My girls and I and the pooch had a lovely few days at the Bay. We'd been a few times before but had stayed in cottages further away from the beach. The location of this lodge is perfect - really quiet but close to the pub etc and so convenient for the beach! The only downer was the mattress on the king size bed, unfortunately very soft and I woke up with a bad back every morning. Apart from that it was fab. we'll definitely be back!
We had a superb stay at Anchors Away...so much space for a family of four and visiting friends. Extremely clean, very well-equipped and close to all the amenities but a quite location with parking outside...easy 10 minute walk to the beach and King Charles III coastal path. Would highly recommend Anchors Away and we will definitely be rebooking.
We had a fantastic time at Anchor Down. It was a great site, lovely, cosy cottage. We will definitely be back!

We have recently returned from a 4 night stay at Pebble Place and loved every minute. The property itself was perfect for us – family of 4 with two young kids plus two grandparents who joined us for 2 nights. All of the rooms are spacious, clean and decorated lovely. It really is a home from home. The property is also brilliantly located on The Bay estate, close to the Square with the pub, shop and leisure facilities. It's only 15 minutes from the beach on a really lovely walk (although the final approach to the beach is pretty steep). I would recommend Pebble Place to anyone looking ...more
Silversands is excellent for a family holiday. It has everything you need and is in a great location with space for children to play out at the back. The house is close to local amenities and very handy for the beach. The upside down layout takes some getting used to but the views from the balcony were worth it! On the down side it only comfortably catered for 8 although we had a party of 10 but the z beds were fine for younger children. We would have give it 5’s all round but the downstairs en-suite could have been a bit cleaner. Nevertheless we had a great week!
The property is on a fabulous purpose built holiday village out on the outskirts of Filey. The property is showing some signs of wear in places but as it's a rental property by the seaside I'm not surprised at all, and overall the property is in great condition and has all the facilities you could need for a great holiday - a real home from home. The living space was quite comfortable though perhaps a slightly different layout would make it more so, as one settee is at a right angle to the tv. We would happily stay here again though and look forward to returning later in the year.
We had a perfect stay in this lovely house. A large family dining table and open plan living allowed us to share and enjoy all mealtimes. The bedrooms were of perfect size for all ages. Clean and tidy bathrooms. Every possible appliance or utensil in the kitchen was available. There was outdoor seating with table and chairs, buckets and spades for the beach. Basic supplies were available on arrival and communication about the booking was easy to follow and just lovely. A very roomy property, just what you need for 8 family members. The location is perfect, very near to swimming pool and other amenities. Second time we have stayed here and the addition of a wine fridge is great because the main fridge is only really big enough for food and a few beers. A very enjoyable stay.
