A clean and comfy stay once again at The Bay . Couldn’t have asked for more as the property was spot on . Great shower / bath and 3 toilets . House was very clean and in good order with WIFI and great facilities .The lactation is perfect jist a few mins walk to the beach or the footpaths . The cleanliness of the resort was very good. Returning in December.
A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location, probably the nicest place we have stayed in , a pleasure to stay in this great place , so well equipped everything you need for the perfect holiday, thank you so much to all concerned
We sent a fabulous 5 days in this property, Location was spot on. Seashell was perfect for our needs. Lovely dog walks on beach. So relaxing.
Hideaway was a perfect accomodation for my partner and myself as my partner needs it to be accessible due to him having a stroke. We immediately knew when entering that it was perfect. The appartment was immaculate comfortable and homely. All the amenities were in walking distance for us which was a bonus we will definitely be returning
Booked the beach house for 4 adults and a dog. The beach house is stunning. Very comfortable. Plenty of space. We all loved it and had a great weekend. Only issue is. The key box is at the back of the house and there is no path to get you to the door. We had to walk across muddy grass to be able to get the key. Pub has mixed reviews but we also had a good meal and breakfast.
Second visit to the Salty Dog and it did not disappoint. The lodge is nicely decorated, very clean and very well equipped. The beds are so comfortable. Not my particular taste in settee for comfort, but that is a very minor point.
The Bay is a stunning modern holiday village. With everything you need. Sea Esta is a lovely cottage, brilliant location and home from home comforts whilst being by the stunning beach and sea location. Loved our little break away and will be back.

I highly recommend Sea Urchins Cottage at The Bay Filey. The house was spotlessly clean, and had everything necessary for a wonderful break. It was in a great position, with just a short walk to the beach. We will definitely book again.
Another nice stay at Caramel Cottage. Really lucky with the weather enabling walking along the beach every day into Filey. Already booked to go back in May!

We've stayed in lots of properties at the Bay Filey over the years and this has to be one of our favourites. The extra large kitchen diner is so spacious and bright and the bedrooms also large and comfortable. Lots of lovely personal touches make a big difference. The only things that could improve the cottage IMO would be a normal shower head in addition to the rainfall showers as it is quite difficult to rinse just using the rainfall. Also, a small airfryer would be really handy and save having to fire up the oven.
We stayed at Sandy Shores for 10 days over Christmas and New Year with our small dog. We was quite surprised to learn our stay was the last before a full refurbishment. We have stayed in at least 7 other properties on the Bay at Filey, Sandy Shores was definately up there as one of the best even in its current condition. We loved our stay, it was home from home, super cozy and warm with everything we needed to chill and enjoy the festive period. We arrived to find a very well equipped, spotlessly clean cabin. Position on site is excellent and we enjoyed watching the Heron and Ducks on the lake. Last but not least a very comfortable bed. We look forward to staying in the future.

Have used Filey Bay Direct a few times to book holiday homes at The Bay. The booking process is quick and easy and the selection of properties is good too. Booked Sailaway Cottage as an anniversary present for my parents. The house and location were spot on and the welcome hamper was a nice touch. The house was spotless when we arrived and everything was ready for us. We had some family and friends visit whilst we were there and the house was great for entertaining and may parents had a great time. We’ve booked again to stay at another property over Christmas 2026.
Last stayed in this property in summer 2017. It was just the job for a short late September break, very comfortable settee in lounge, equally excellent beds, 2 really good walk in showers and a well stocked kitchen etc. Nice quiet location and no issues with sleepers at all - maybe helped with some shingle stones on them. Parking not a problem at all on this occasion even without no dedicated space. Would maybe say potential improvement if possible for a slightly larger TV upgrade and not sure if we were unlucky but the TV reception wasn't brilliant and not sure why but weren't able to ge...more
My husband and I really enjoyed our 6 night break at the Lake House. From our initial booking to leaving the property there was excellent communication. It's in a great situation, right on the lake and we enjoyed watching the antics of the birds occupying it, along with a fabulous murmeration from the starlings most evenings. The bed was comfortable and everything you need in the kitchen for cooking was there. The holiday village is very attractive and it was lovely to be so close to the sea. I think we will be going back!
We had such an amazing stay, the house is fully kitted out with everything you could need. It was really clean and comfortable and felt like home from home. It was big enough for 4 adults and 2 children, with a really great outdoor space at the back. It felt really private too. We had an amazing weekend and will certainly be booking again.
I come every year to this property, it is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable and like a second home, I just look forward to coming and relaxing forgetting all my worries every year! So close to the beach and it’s not a difficult walk (I was on crutches this year and managed it)Everything you need on site! Just a beautiful place to come relax and enjoy! Honestly won’t find a nicer place. Highly recommended it!
Seahorse Lodge is stunning and is in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful holiday making precious memories with family. We would definitely come back one day.

Excellent Lodge with everything we needed, plenty kitchen utensils which can sometimes be a problem. We had grandchildren with us so appreciated the puzzles etc. and the many TV channels as the weather was very snowy. Great location with pool and gym on site plus a place to eat. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property
We stayed at Prospect Cottage whilst we were looking at houses in the area, as we love it so much we are moving up there. The cottage was well set out with plenty of room. Views onto the green were lovely and the balcony upstairs was great for sitting with a coffee. Evenings were a delight Sat on the reclining sofa while we discussed houses or watched some tv. A great stay which felt too short.

What a lovely chalet. Everything we needed and more. Great location on Blue Harbour Road. Have stayed on the Bay before, but this was the first time booking myself. Was recommended Filey Bay Direct from friends - they couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you for a great experience.

Blue Anchor Retreat had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It’s in a good location close to site amenities with good parking and many nearby places to visit. Being on one level and having two showers was just the type of accommodation we need so we will be back again.
Sea Urchins Beach House is a fantastic place. Beautifully presented and extremely clean. The location is great, you can be walking on the seafront at Filey, Bridlington or Scarborough after just a few minutes drive. Where it’s positioned in the ‘village’ it was very quiet, obviously in the middle of summer it may be not so. We will definitely return to Sea Urchins if it’s available when we next have a break.

I've been coming to The Bay for years with my dogs, and always struggled with the lack of enclosed garden space across many of the properties. It never stopped me going, was just one of those things I put up with! Alana Bay address's this problem as the front decking area has had clear Perspex added between the gaps of the decking fencing so is completely enclosed. As a dog owner to little dogs, I've been to many places where it has been advertised as dog friendly to find fences with big gaps so this was a breath of fresh air to be able to let the dogs out with no worries. All three generations enjoyed our stay. The beach was amazing! The holiday village was exceptionally well cared for. It was a very pleasant environment with lovely walks along the coastal path. The house was comfortable and gave us a restful break. Paula from the management company was very helpful and responded positively and quickly when ee contacted her.
We recently stayed at Silversands House to celebrate a 60th birthday and ring in the New Year, and it couldn't have been more perfect. With a family group ranging from 11 to 60 years old, the accommodation and the site offered something for everyone. The house itself was exceptionally spacious and cosy, providing a brilliant hub for our celebrations. We loved the open plan living area and the balcony with the views to the sea are stunning especially at sunrise. The Bay is a fantastic site with a with a real sense of community. We recently went back to Filey stayed twice at the same place, very cosy, we stayed at Christmas and went back in late January. I would recommend anyone stay here very clean cosy. Love Filey!
This was the second time we stayed at The Bay but the first at Sophie's Beach house. The location is spot on and a beautiful area to stay in. The property we stayed in last year was stunning extremely well kitted out for a family with a Dog and had a welcome pack which was really appreciated. I dint think it cost much to pop a pint of milk in the fridge yo be honest and its the little touches that make you book again. All this was lacking at Sophie's. There was no welcome pack and only 1 toilet roll for 2 bathrooms. We recieve 2 the next day. We found the house to be small and it felt cramped ...more
Great property with 4 well apportioned rooms. We stayed with 2 couples each with 2 kids; the third king room the beds split into a twin so that it’s 2 kings, 1 twin/king, 1 triple with the bunk beds. Everything clean and good condition. Decent sharp knives which is rare! Location is excellent by the sea and good pool / sauna / steam facilities around the corner on site included. The EV charger is on the driveway which saved a lot of hassle finding charging, as there aren’t many other EV chargers nearby. Good internet. Would stay again.
