A clean and comfy stay once again at The Bay . Couldn’t have asked for more as the property was spot on . Great shower / bath and 3 toilets . House was very clean and in good order with WIFI and great facilities .The lactation is perfect jist a few mins walk to the beach or the footpaths . The cleanliness of the resort was very good. Returning in December.
A wonderful accommodation in a beautiful location, probably the nicest place we have stayed in , a pleasure to stay in this great place , so well equipped everything you need for the perfect holiday, thank you so much to all concerned
This beach house has got the wow factor. The design of the building provides lots of space for cooking, eating and relaxing. There are two generous sized bedrooms and two large bathrooms, one being en-suite and the other a very clever “ Jack and Jill “ arrangement. The light floods into the property enhanced by the vaulted ceiling in the main living area. There is amble parking and all the amenities are only a few minutes away. We had a lovely 6 days enjoying the stunning beach, coastal walks and enjoying the charm of the town of Filey. SeaShell Cove is a real gem.
Had a fantastic stay at the Blue Bay accomodation, it was everything we wanted and needed. Inside was so comfortable and we'll kept really light and airy. The outside space was great too nice comfortable chairs and sunlougers. Definitely will be back
Stayed for 3 nights at the Hideaway on The Bay. The one bedroom apartment was ideal for what we wanted. It was very clean, extremely well furnished, in pristine condition and dog friendly. The location of the Hideaway on the Bay was also very good and we had no problem finding a parking space. Even though it is opposite the pub you don’t hear any noise and it is in an ideal location for the shop and a short walk to the beach path. We hope to return at some point in the future.
This was our first stay at Salty Dog but it definitely won’t be the last! Such a lovely, cosy, comfy, clean and well appointed property in a great location. All the little thoughtful touches made a huge difference; it felt so homely and welcoming. Easy access to the beach and cliff-top walk. Enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool as well. Don’t recommend eating at the pub on site though; overpriced and very bland. Lots of better options just up the road in Filey. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Salty Dog and look forward to returning again soon.
Sea Est is a lovely house in an excellent position. It was very clean with everything you need. The only problems we had were the internet didn't work most of the time and neither did the DVD player. Also the freezer door was broken which we reported. Other than that we had an enjoyable stay.
This is our second stay at Caramel Cottage and I have to say, it was as good as the first. It has everything you need for a family of 5 and is very roomy and plenty of space for everyone. The dinning area with its large table is perfect for playing games and entertaining. The lounge is very comfortable and the log burner is perfect for those cold Autumn evenings after a long walk on the beach. Just returned after our first stay at sea urchins cottage. We couldn’t recommend this highly enough. It is in a great position close to the main facilities but also near the beach path and sea views. The cottage was super clean and the beds and chairs were extremely comfortable. Everything you could think of in the kitchen for cooking and eating. Lots of little touches which make all the difference. We shall certainly be back again.
As always a great stay. We could see improvements that had been made since our last visit. The only thing I forgot to mention was none of the remote controls worked and all the A+++ batteries in the property were dead, but this made for some entertaining fun with board games instead.
Had another lovely 4 night stay at the Blue Moon beach house at the beginning of October 2025. Always enjoy stopping here as it’s such a comfortable accommodation & has everything you need. It is very clean, modern & cosy. The Filey bay complex is very well maintained and in striking distance of all the local tourist sites. Love walking along the beach from Filey Bay (tides permitting) to Filey and allowing our dog a great run on the sand.. Can’t wait to return …

We arrived to find a very well equipped, spotlessly clean cabin. Position on site is excellent and we enjoyed watching the Heron and Ducks on the lake. Last but not least a very comfortable bed. We look forward to staying in the future.
Joe’s beach house was a great find online and tha fact that it is Pet Free was perfect for us. We have become ‘tired’ with holiday rentals that smell Of dog with hairs on furniture. Joe’s Beach house caters for people who DO NOT want that experiemce. The house is in the best location on The Bay. It was IMMACULATELY clean and a delight to walk into a holiday house that smelled so clean and fresh. We found Sea Air to be a comfortable well appointed first floor apartment. We would certainly book this accommodation again. The Bay at Filey is a unique holiday village and feels very much a home from home. The grounds are beautifully maintained and it's clear the employees take a pride in their work. Super dog friendly, plenty of dog walking areas and dog waste bins. Dog companions are welcome in the bar and restaurant, which meant we could relax with drinks and a meal. We have stayed at 3 different 4 bed houses on the same road at The Bay Filey and Sailaway was by far the best. Good quality all round. Small issues with cleanliness when we arrived but not enough to spoil the holiday but in the future this really needs looking at. The addition of a BBQ and a new shower in the downstairs ensuite would make this property even more outstanding.
Last stayed in this property in summer 2017. It was just the job for a short late September break, very comfortable settee in lounge, equally excellent beds, 2 really good walk in showers and a well stocked kitchen etc. Nice quiet location and no issues with sleepers at all - maybe helped with some shingle stones on them. Parking not a problem at all on this occasion even without no dedicated space. Having stayed at several locations on the bay this is by far the most inviting and homely beach house. Perfect location for a short walk to all the amenities, however its in a very quiet location, that may not suit all families. Will definitely be returning often.
We had such an amazing stay, the house is fully kitted out with everything you could need. It was really clean and comfortable and felt like home from home. It was big enough for 4 adults and 2 children, with a really great outdoor space at the back. It felt really private too. We had an amazing weekend and will certainly be booking again.
Seahorse Lodge is stunning and is in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful holiday making precious memories with family. We would definitely come back one day.
So many visits to The Bay and Filey. Truely love it. Sea side cottage at the Bay brilliant base home from home. Highly recommend. Our host always provides satisfaction alround.
We had a lovely stay at the lakeside lodge, it was so comfortable and well equipped, a super outlook over the lake and daily visits from the ducks. Absolutely perfect!
Lovely accommodation in a great location which was very clean on arrival. Communication was brilliant throughout. Well laid out with some good extra touches and all the things we required to make a it a very comfortable stay. We intend to come back again in the near future too.
This is our second stay at the Oreo Shack. It’s the perfect location for the play area, the leisure facilities and to access the beach. We love it here.
Nice, well equips house, with all you need. The house was warm and beds very comfy, ample room in second bedroom even with the 3 beds so great for kids. Sofa bed easy to use but not made up in advance. I formation file needs a refresh but everything easy to find in site,. Pool was clean but an issue with changing rooms meant ladies had to enter through male changing! Lovely walk to beautiful Filey beach. All in all highly reccomended
Enjoyed a 4 night stay at Anchors Away. Very spacious, comfortable and cared for property. Ideal for larger families or groups, didn’t feel on top of one another when socialising in the open plan lounge area. Large communal grassed area outside French doors which felt like your own garden as it was very private. Would definitely recommend this property for larger groups.
Lovely very clean lodge. Very modern and the en-suites in 2 of the bedrooms and one adjoined to the main bathroom was perfect. Holiday resort very clean and no riff raff. Short walk to the beach was absolutely stunning. So many areas to explore close by. The view from the lodge which overlooked the meadow was lovely too. We did not get any people parking in front of it but if it was busier it maybe a bit annoying. Sea Urchins Beach House is a fantastic place. Beautifully presented and extremely clean. The location is great, you can be walking on the seafront at Filey, Bridlington or Scarborough after just a few minutes drive. Where it’s positioned in the ‘village’ it was very quiet, obviously in the middle of summer it may be not so. We will definitely return to Sea Urchins if it’s available when we next have a break.
Great location for access to walks along the beach, use of the on-site Gym and pool. Very comfy accommodation.
Not one of my five young grandchildren got to use the pool once during our three night stay. No organisation at the pool whatsoever. Whoever manages the place couldn't manage their way down a straight road with a map. For this reason, and only this reason I could not recommend this property.
Our fifth visit to Silversands House and nothing has changed - same wonderful house in a wonderful location with panoramic views over the sea and a fantastic beach giving access to nearby Filey. There is plenty of space at the rear of the house for children ti play and for exercising the dog. There is a shop, pharmacy, tennis courts on site as well as a welcoming pub and restaurant. Easy access to local bus services. As always, Paula kept us well informed and was readily available to answer any questions.

Incredibly spacious, very well equipped and spotlessly clean property. Best shower ever in the downstairs comfy double bedroom and very comfy sofas too.
Had a lovely stay, just needed more privacy on the decking, has it was quite open and felt on view all the time for passes by..Both bathrooms and paint work throughout needed a bit of attention. Other than that it was well equiped and had everything you would need.Paula was excellent.
Great house in a great location on the site. House is equipped with lots of essentials in the kitchen nothing has been missed. Bedrooms are a great size and the bonus of en-suites is great too. Loved the rain shower in the main bathroom. Paula constantly stayed in touched sharing pre arrival information and day of departure information too. We needed assistance whilst in the house and this was dealt with swiftly. Would certainly return.
