Location excellent, lovely place. Couldn't fault it, had everything we needed for our family of 11..
We'd been looking forward to visiting The Dilly since we first saw it advertised. It was everything we expected and more. Gill and Richard have paid so much attention to detail and created the perfect, romantic getaway with everything you need. The quality and comfort of our stay was superb, the hikki was an exciting treat and we look forward to returning in the winter months to try the log burner and fire pit. Gill and a Richard were warm, friendly and helpful and we can't wait to return.
The house was more than one could hope for , exceptionally well equipped , spotlessly clean, in the centre of town and very close to the beach . There is an attractive rear lawned garden with patio and BBQ . We were a family of 6 adults and two boys aged 4 and 8 . There were toys and games for the boys and the four excellent bedrooms and three bathrooms more than met our needs . We could not recommend it more highly. It’s well worth a visit .
We recently spent a wonderful week in this beautiful holiday cottage. When we arrived the house was in a fantastic condition and was spotless. Immediately we knew that we would have a wonderful week here. The house has a great layout with a large kitchen and utility, a spacious lounge and bedrooms with lots of room. Another major benefit for us was the large secure yard that came with the house. We had 10 people round during the week and there was more than enough space for us all. During the day, we weren't restricted where we could go as the house is ideally located on the island and nothing...more
What a lovely stay ! Really enjoyed our few days in this beautiful property , we wanted a place to relax, and enjoy some walking , and we found it in The Hideout , it is a credit to Jamie and his family , warm ,clean and comfortable , everything we needed . We didn't want to leave , and look forward to our next visit !
Excellent location with a short walk to the beach and Oyster Catcher! Well equipped apartment with great facilities
Absolutely gorgeous apartment with amazing views. Everything you need for a break away. Well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels. Comfortable beds….even a high chair! Only a short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. Truly a beautiful place in a beautiful location.
This house suited us perfectly as we had grandparents staying on the ground floor with easy access to the kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen was so well stocked with plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery. We used the kitchen table for meals and the large dining table was fab for reading and games etc and this meant the kitchen table was always clear and ready for meals! Our dog (and all of us) loved the garden and it was private and secure. The quality of everything amazed us, the beds, mattresses, quilts were all luxurious. The highlight is the living room, with plenty of settees and lots ...more
We have recently returned from a wonderful week's stay in this fabulous property. It totally exceeded all of our expectations. The house is large, roomy and in the perfect location on The High Street of Rhosneigr The owners have furnished and decorated the villa to the highest of standards and no expense has been spared. We slept on beautiful hotel quality beds and woke up to amazing sea views. I loved the little extras like the "emergency wine" and the games room in the garage. We met the neighbours on both sides and became great friends! A few steps away there was an excellent fish and chip...more
We recently stayed here with family celebrating a 70th birthday. The holiday home was great , 3 bedroom each with shower/bathroom. Plenty of space and things to do. Kitchen well equipped. We had a lovely stay, and would love to visit again in the summer so we can take advantage of the outside seating area and local walks to the beach. We also visited the local pub ,The Crown food; was gorgeous and highly recommended.
Beautiful place to stay in. Everything is provided, even things like measuring cups and a cheese grater! With the field and lake actually on our doorstep was perfect for our dog to run in, and the beach was only a couple of minutes drive away as well. Brett and Liz were so helpful and any minor queries we had we delt with immediately. This trip was so good that when we got back home we rebooked it for next year!
Super, family accommodation within easy walking distance to beach and facilities. Cleanliness excellent and great customer service when required.
Very nice upside down design made it easy to sleep in the hot weather. Huge useful and usable patio area was a surprise and caught the sun all day, great for drying wetsuits. Seaview from the balcony really nice too. Beds were really comfortable too. Beach and town very nearby. Parking was easy. Booked again.
We had a wonderful week in Rhosneigar. The property was the best we have ever stayed in and have been coming to Anglesey for quite a few years. The house was excellent a lot bigger than the photos show. Very clean and comfortable and in a super location . Couldn't fault the house or the holiday. Wanted a few days in December but unfortunately the weekend we need is already booked!! Will definitely recommend it.
Enjoyed our relaxing stay in this cosy apartment for two. Everything we needed for our five night break. Thank you.
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Bryn Bach and it was just what the doctor ordered. The cottage/lodge was beautiful, well kept, clean and welcoming. We ventured out for long walks and came back to enjoy the log burner and hot tub. It was a nice walk to the local beach too- only 15 minutes. With a stop off for a drink at the Oyster Catcher. The owners were on hand to help answer any questions and were extremely welcoming. Thank you.
A lovely family retreat and we enjoyed every minute of our time on the island. The house made a significant contribution to the success of our holiday.
Lan Y Mor, is a great house, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is fabulous being right next to the beach, we saw some beautiful sunsets here. The beach is maybe not so good for swimming, it's windy & a great location for kite surfing.
Excellent clean property very comfortable good WiFi would recommend to others would stay again nice quiet location nearest beach 5 minutes drive
We really enjoyed our autumn stay at driftwood - we visit rhosneigr annually and have already booked for next year As always very impressed with Anglesey holiday lettings Thank you
Situated less than 2 mins walk from the village and the beach the cottage is perfect for exploring everything about Rhosneigr. All the fixtures and fittings in the cottage were modern and to a very high standard, two lovely bathrooms & three very comfy bathrooms. Kitchen likewise had everything you need to cater for yourselves. For those evenings in cosy sofa and a tv with access to Netflix is also a great touch. We had one dog who was very comfortable in cottage. Would highly recommend Off the Hook!
What a special stay at number 3 the bungalow was spotless, beds comfy garden enclosed great for my dog, absolutely loved it especially the weather, we always book with anglesey holiday lettings fantastic service would definitely visit here again everything you need number 3 is a little gem
A fabulous week away with good friends. Delayed due to COVID restrictions, this was well worth the wait. The property was large and allowed adults and kids to find their own space. We never felt like we were in each other’s way. The kitchen/dining area is excellent, the large bifold doors flooding the room with light and giving the sense of an even bigger space than it already is. The snug area with the tv allowed for a few lazy afternoons and evenings when the weather didn’t allow for beach trips. The location is perfect for running off to the beach when the autumn rains give you a window of ...more
We had a lovely holiday and decent weather for October! Rhosneigr is a relatively small place but the house is perfectly placed within the village and close to the beach.
Excellent home from home within easy reach of the beach and shops . Nice enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and had far reaching sea views. The kitchen and utility room was very well equipped and the beds comfortabl. We liked it so much we are returning for another week within the month ! I would highly recommend this beautiful holiday home.
A super, versatile house, well equipped and comfortable. It is an ideal base to explore Angelsey. The beach in Rhosneiger is beautiful- we saw some amazing sunsets! You are very close to Valley- we had our own private air show- even seeing a red arrow and fighter jets doing manoeuvres. The town itself has an excellent fish and chip shop and good restaurants. It was perfect for our stay.
Although the weather wasn’t the best, that could not be said of our accommodation. The house was great in every aspect and we would recommend it to anybody looking to visit Anglesey.
Lovely house in the best position. Good for dogs and children. Very clean and well equipped. Would love to come back for another stay ASAP.
We were the first to stay in the property. Good central location in the village, convenient for dog walks on the beach. Really nice modern well appointed property. Had a great week dispite the weather. I would point out that although it can sleep 6, I think it would be a squeeze for that many in the other areas of the house. Plus the parking space is tiny, you won’t get a family sized car in it.
We enjoyed our few days at Minstrel Lodge, convenient location and well equipped. The weather was quite wild and windy some of the time, but the house stayed cosy and warm. Not all of the instruments were available as advertised, presumably due to Covid restrictions but our granddaughter enjoyed those that were there and the books/jigsaws etc were great. 2 minor points: *We couldn't get the Sonos sound system working but it didn't bother us that much as we were out a lot. The instructions said it can be quite fiddly to get it working and so it proved. *Some coat hooks/stand in the hall ...more
When we arrived at Lakeside, we were immediately struck by the beauty of the views from the property. From the bedroom windows, we were afforded the most fantastic scenery we could have hoped for. The house is spacious, clean and tidy. A 5 minute walk allows you to start a wonderful walk along the endless beaches of Rhosneigr. We would love to go again!
Ideal for our extended family to get together for a reunion following recent times. All 19 of us managed to sit around the huge table in the kitchen and while away the hours following a meal together. We had lots of fun and the house was a great hub for us to do this.
Recently spent a week at Ty Mabon, Aberffraw. This is the second time that we have stayed in the apartment. It is a lovely apartment and is very comfortable, very clean and has everything that you need for a week away. It is in a quiet complex within a few minutes walking distance along the estuary and to the Anglesey coastal path, also handy for exploring all the lovely places that Anglesey has to offer. I'm sure that we will be returning next year.
What a gorgeous house. Very spacious. We had the worst wet and windy week ever but we didn't mind because we had so much room in the house. The kids loved it too and they loved the mezanine floor in the living room. Maybe the games could be checked as there were bits missing so couldn't play some of them. But we took some games too so it was ok. We had such a fabulous family time. The bedrooms are big. We had a problem while we were there but the owner came out straight away. He was very friendly. We will definitely be booking again and hope for good weather next time so we can use th...more
We stay here regularly, the location can’t be beaten. Generally well provided for, just need some oven gloves and a small towel as well as a bath sheet for every guest. The cream cushions on the table chairs are a bit grubby and stained now and could do with washing or replacing but these are minor points and it’s a lovely, cosy place to stay in a beautiful location. Unfortunately the secret’s out and the beach is noticeably busier these days but the accommodation is wonderful and we will be back.
Booked very last minute so wasn't expecting much. Absolutely perfect accommodation with all the facilities you could need. I have stayed at the companie's properties before and they have a perfect approach - only getting involved if needed. All information is provided prior to your arrival but they are on hand if you need anything else. Tides Reach proved a wonderful choice and I would definitely recommend.
We enjoyed a fabulous week at Hen Gi Mor. So comfortable and cosy to come back to after a big day out! Great location! Anglesey Holiday Lettings are very professional with great booking service! Thank you
Beautiful cottage in fantastic location. A wonderful place to rekax and enjoy the amazing sunsets. We absolutely love it here.
Ideal location for a few days holiday in Rhosneigr. Nearest beach only 100m from apartment, shops and amenities less than 50ms.Great base to explore the rest of Anglesey from. Apartment was very clean and warm, fully kitted out for those wishing to show case their own culinary skills. However for those of us less talented chefs there are plenty of local takeaways and restaurants available nearby. The Crown, Aberffraw one of my particular favourites. Almost 'bistro like', great food with good choice of cask ales always available. Highlight was the 'picture window' in the lounge framing the num...more
We had a wonderful stay, felt at home and relaxed as soon as we walked in. We had a problem with the shower, which was dealt, with straight away.
The location of this property is fantastic right by a lovely beach. The downstairs bedroom and shower is ideal for elderly guests and the property has everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is only the front bedroom with a balcony that overlooks the sea and we found that when the wind was howling it was quite noisy and drafty (maybe needs door/window seal replacing). However what a great view to wake up to with a cuppa. There is a small village you can walk to and a nice old pub the Glan Neigr. The owners were so accommodating when we arrived soaking wet with our dogs after gett...more
We met up as a family for a special pre Christmas break. Everyone really enjoyed the house, great design, spectacular view. Lots of happy memories sat around the dining table! Perfect for us. Thank you
Firstly dealing with Anglesey Lettings was a joy. They did exactly what they said they would, when they said they would. Apartment was comfortable, spotless and delightful to be in. Location was great. We will be back!
On arrival we were very pleasantly surprised at the finish of the bungalow and it's surroundings. This continued inside where we found a very well equipped kitchen and good sized bedrooms with comfortable beds. There are televisions in the bedrooms, kitchen and lounge and has obviously been well thought out for the comfort of guests. The property is located directly on the A5 which was the main route for traffic heading for Holyhead. There is now a new dual carriageway, the A55, that takes most of this traffic away and does not affect Monfa. However, there is some traffic noise at certain ti...more
A lovely little cottage which suited us (a family of 4 and small dog) well. Convenient location, just off the A55. The cottage had everything we needed and the little laundry next door came in handy.
We had a short stay at Bay View in November. We arrived on a cold night but the flat was lovely and warm. It was immaculate and comfortable and 10/10 for its cleanliness. The view is incredible, it’s fantastic sitting with a cuppa watching the wind surfers. The value was excellent. Only one little quibble, which has been said a few times on other reviews, there is still no freezer compartment in the fridge. Although we were a couple who ate out, it was quite expensive and a young family who are self catering, really would need one so please take this point on board. I would definitely stay ag...more
Anglesey Holiday Lettings did everything to help us. Our first choice location was unavailable due to heating breakdown so we were offered this cozy cottage as an alternative. Staff were so supportive and stayed in touch during our stay to ensure we were comfortable. The cottage is close to beach and shops but peaceful. A lovely kitchen diner with everything you’d need to cook for 6-8 people. A comfortable bed. The bunks would be comfortable for children and the garden looks child friendly. This is a great location to explore the island. The lake close by is wonderful for bird watching.
We had a wonderful time in the nest, a beautiful apt overlooking the White eagle. Perfect location for us as it’s close to beaches and coastal walks and our favourite pub! Apt was spacious and comfy with a sun trap outdoor area just off the lounge. Just a couple of minor snags, bathroom tap not fixed to sink in bathroom and some windows fixed shut so in certain bedrooms it got very stuffy……didn’t detract too much though from what was a great stay in a lovely place. We hope to return to the nest in the future.
My wife and I really enjoyed staying in the "barn". It was a nice home away from home. The owners maintain a distance but are very friendly and helpful when approached.
The cottage is lovely and was perfect for our family of 3. Great facilities with the on-site cafe and the local pub is so friendly. We had a great time.
The location is excellent. Everyone we met in the village were very welcoming and the people at the golf club very warm and helpful. The golf course was interesting and challenging in places.
Great accommodation, it was very clean and well furnished, each bedroom was en-suite and 6 people could easy stay here, living room had good quality furniture and the dining area had views over the bay. House has parking to the front of the property, dog friendly and has free wi fi, there are a good choice of pubs within a short drive, The Oyster Catcher and Sandy Mount Hotel are both worth visiting. Overall the accommodation is very nice, great value and we had a lovely break
Everything about the property was wonderful, fantastic position in the village . Fitted 5 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs perfectly and is well kitted out . We played with the games and jigsaws that they provided on a wet and windy day and it was very cosy. The little boys particularly enjoyed the small lounge to watch their t.v programmes in . The house was spotless on arrival and the painting in the kitchen is brilliant. 5 minutes walk to the local shop, beach and a lake that you can walk around. The Oyster Catcher restaurant was walkable and we had a very enjoyable meal there.
A lovely relaxing week away, the property is very central in the village which is handy. Plenty of space to relax and the log burner was fab. We did have an issue of the heating not working- it felt very cold/damp when we arrived so unsure when the heating had last been used- this was promptly sorted the next morning, so great customer service. Would recommend this property as we come to Rhosneigr frequently. Perhaps a blind in the kitchen for some privacy from the road would be handy, as when it is dark and the lights on you can see through the privacy film.
We enjoyed a week long stay at Bryn Eglwys. It's a great little apartment and had everything we needed. It's in a handy location only 10 mins from the village centre and 5 mins from the beach. Also very close to the RAF base at Valley so be prepared for noise from planes but this didn't bother us, as regular visitors to Rhosneigr it is to be expected!! Overall a great stay and would recommend.
We loved staying here its was spotless and even the little treats left and veiws are amazing .
3 night w/end stay with our grand children .The cottage is well presented spotlessly clean and well equipped ,the only slight issue was the bath room lock did not work
This was our second stay at the cottage. It's a good base for visiting Anglesey, especially for visiting The Little Church in The Sea which you can walk to directly from the cottage and can make into a circular walk by adding some coast path and the estuary. Llanddwyn Island, Anglesey Model Village and some great beaches are very close by. The cottage was exceptionally clean and warm and I'm sure we will be returning.
Would definitely book again. Great place and we had everything we need. Very small points for next time home owner has a reshuffle; settee a bit low for older people and dining table a bit big for the room, not much space to manoeuvre.
Once again another homely, comfortable stay in Rhonwil. Not as glitzy as some other properties but great facilities, fantastic location and will return once more
This is a difficult review to give; this is and continues to be our favourite place in Rhosneigr and we have already booked for next year which tells you a lot about how we feel about the place, its second to none location and how it has become an annual family event, this house has been instrumental in bringing the family together for an annual holiday which is priceless for the time we spend together here. Whether it is sitting on the lawn people watching on the beach or a 30 second walk to the waters edge to do some paddle boarding. We tried a different property one year and although the su...more
Nice comfy house in a perfect location close to everything it’s a bit dated and needs a makeover . Otherwise had a really nice stay.
Small basic cottage with all amenities, comfy beds, powerful showers. Great to stay with friends in adjoining cottages. Beautiful location a couple of minutes to the sand dunes and amazing beach. Great customer service from the owner and Anglesey holiday lettings Thanks
Clean well equiped property. Ideally situated comfortable beds and plenty of seating. Views are great and the sunsets spectacular. My only criticism would be the outdoor furniture in the bbq area needs renovating or replacing and the bbq needed a clean. The house insidec was immaculate and the garden ideal for children and families to relax. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.
Lovely home from home with many mod cons. Would definitely stay again as great location to explore the Island of Anglesey. Tips/advice: take slippers with you, washing machine outside in a closed passage way(no dryer), could do with door mats/trays for dirty shoes, no welcome pack so pack some essentials (tea, coffee, bread, milk etc). No TV in 2nd or 3rd bedrooms, extra clothes hangers would have been useful as would another wardrobe. No immediate parking outside - double yellow lines but parking space just round the corner so no real issue. Not complaining- we were 4 adults there for a we...more
Had a lovely stay in the cottage, found everything we needed easily to hand. Lovely clean and comfortable beds and furnishings and lovely quiet countryside surrounding us with plenty of good walks and beaches only 5 minutes drive away.
Beautiful property right by the beach. Great location. Spotless inside. Loads of room. Great outside area which would be lovely in the summer. The beds were really comfortable and the bedding lovely. Handy having two bathrooms especially for a large party of guests. Would definitely recommend and will be booking again. Great customer service with Anglesey letting.
We had 4 nights at Bryn Awel...a gorgeous place and a fabulous location. Everything we needed and when we just needed to sort one thing out and called it in, Anglesey Holiday Lettings were with us and had it sorted within 10 minutes. We were very, very impressed. Looking forward to our next stay...very much.
Fall out of the front door onto the beach ... Literally Right in the centre of Rhosniegr There were just the 2 of us and our pooch so loads of space, could be a bit tight for 6. An over sight on our part was not noticing there is no freezer or freezer part, so having done a shop on the way we had to eat 2 tubs of ice cream on our first night of holiday .... Oh well silver linings.
Had a week stay but left early the property was very clean. Was looking for a private quiet holiday to spend with my family who I haven’t seen for 3 years. The property backs onto the owners and we didn’t feel private. There is also a caravan at the side which was not mentioned in the review luckily nobody was staying there , if they had then not private at all . I was kept awake by the constant noise of the A55 with roadworks at night. Having not been to anglessey before I didn’t know the A55 was a very busy road. The beds and pillows were uncomfortable. The sofa in living room was also unco...more
