The property was excellent! Beautiful position overlooking the bay. Lovely welcoming touches like fresh flowers and wine and biscuits! Will certainly book again !
Great place to stay… Host is amazing and taking care of the lodges. I would highly recommend this place.
The lodge was first class. Very comfortable and very clean. Positioned in a perfect place not far away from anywhere you would like to visit on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. We would definitely like to stay there again. The host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Would definately stay here again. ******************************************************************
We enjoyed a great week in the winery and Michelle could not have been more helpful. It was lovely, relaxing on the patio and the beach being so close was a bonus. Anglesey is a lovely peaceful island and we plan to return. Would highly recommend
The property was very well appointed, very clean with great views. There is access to the cliff top via the private garden area, which provided wonderful views of the sea. It is only a short walk into to Trearddur Bay, where various restaurants can be found. Wonderful views from the balcony and everything we needed in the main kitchen and living area. Customer service was also excellent. Would highly recommend.
Brilliant accommodation. Location excellent with wonderful views from the apartment. Just across the road from the beach. Apartment spacious and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Owner very friendly and welcoming. Oyster holidays great to book with and answered questions promptly. Very good value for money. Would highly recommend.
We had a most relaxing and comfortable week at the cottage. All equipment was first class and the bedrooms, all with en suite, were warm and snug. The surrounding area is quiet and walks were uplifting with scenery and squirrels. We will definitely return and strongly recommend this beautiful accommodation.
We stayed at this lodge for a few nights with our son and dog. I cannot fault anything about the place. Everything is provided and the standard of accommodation is very high end. The EV chargers onsite are another excellent facility. The only thing I could recommend would be regarding space for the dog. There are 6 lodges on the park, 3 are dog friendly. However, there is no fenced of space outside the lodge, other than the decking area, for the dog to wander free and do their business. Not a major problem but given there are large grass areas around the lodges, it maybe could be better for...more
We have visited Rhosneigr at least 30 times in the last 10 years and stayed in some lovely cottages but this is up there with the best, very comfortable and cosy, everything you need, very central for shops bars and restaurants and cafes , beach at the bottom of the street , 1 minute walk.. Ideal location for Anglesey, snowdonia, and north wales
Accomodation in tip-top shape, perfectly clean, spacious, comfortable and modern. Excellent location with good road access to allow exploration of Ynys Môn and near Llangefni to access amenities. Outdoor seating area with nice views of Eryri in the distance.
Beautiful house with amazing views great garden . We loved our stay . Only downside was there was only really one shower we wanted to use as the downstairs shower wasn’t really that inviting to be used more of a boot room and we couldn’t get rid of a smell in there despite putting loads of cleaner down the loo etc . The same smell seemed to be in the bedroom directly above too . The house is big so probably the cleaners are on a tight schedule which ment dishes were put away not clean probably from previous guests not cleaners fault but not very nice and so once we noticed we felt we needed...more
Absolutely perfect stay at this beautiful cottage! There are mountain views from every window and it is even better than the photos. Directions to the property were spot on and it was easily found, as were the keys. Everything was very clean and provided the perfect place to relax, with very comfortable furnishings. Two of the party were above six foot and care had to be taken with two doorways, but there is a red tag hanging above to remind people. I would definitely recommend this lovely cottage and its large garden where we enjoyed morning coffee looking up at Crib Goch. Perfect location fo...more
Really lovely spacious property, beautifully done out and well equipped. Excellent location, with stunning views across the countryside, very close to Criccieth and all its amenities.
We were all delighted with our holiday at Rockside. From the moment we arrived everything was just perfect. The house is spacious and well equipped and everything has been thought through to make the holidays perfect. We had 3 young grandchildren with us and during a day of inclement weather, the house was big enough for them to run around and have fun; something you can't do in a static caravan! Trearddur Bay is just a delightful place with so many things to do for everyone. In summary: Perfect in every way!
Lovely Apartment and spacious had everything we required for a great weekend Close to all amenities and the beach
Beautifully refurbished and in prime location to stroll down into the village - much needed R&R, thank you!
Myself and extended family stayed at Llynfor to celebrate my 50th birthday. The house was beautiful and had everything needed for a weeks stay. There were plenty of implements in the kitchen if you needed to cook with 2 fridges and freezers and also a wine fridge. The bedroom were very spacious and very comfortable. I would have no hesitation in staying there again. The weather was not the best for us but we made the most of the hot tub and had taken board games with us to keep us entertained. The only thing that bothered us was that we were unable to adjust the heating, this needs done...more
From booking to staying at the house was excellent. We had a lovely 5 days and will definitely return.
I stayed at The Anchorage with my family for my 60th birthday and it was perfect. The cottage was spotless and so comfortable, so much so that I did not want to leave ! We had a wonderful weekend, the location is stunning,we so enjoyed the 2 minute walk to the beach! I would definitely recommend The Anchorage it is perfect for a family gathering and I would not hesitate to book again. Wonderful memories were made here !
We had a great stay in Otter cottage. The cottage is in a beautiful and quiet spot, and is comfortable and cosy. It’s a good location for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and going further afield.
The remarkable Chapel always put a smile on our faces. Obviously unique but easy to get used to and enjoy, from breakfast on the balcony looking out to see, or enjoying the darkness from the thick curtains to get some proper sleep. But the location is great, not the roadside but the short walk to the beach. peddles painted to add to the stream side walk through the fairy woods. This is a great place to chill and with all the things you need - smart TV, WI fi (the kids needed it!), the quirky bedrooms, enough space and everyone needs an organ loft! Thank you for restoring, re-imagining and...more
Overall very pleased with accomadation and location. Our only issue for longer stays was that we only had a two ring hob this needs to be replaced with a standard 4 ring to facilitate meal preparation. Otherwise excellent.
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. The location was excellent, with walks right from the front door. The beach was only a short walk away, it was always quiet and on some days we had the beach entirely to ourselves, which our dog Willow loved. As an added bonus, we even saw a pod of seals in the bay. There is a pub, The White Eagle, about a five-minute walk away, serving great food. The accommodation was very nice, and it was great to receive a welcome pack on arrival. The property was comfortable, and the sea views from the garden were lovely. A couple of small improvements could be made. S...more
This property is in a beautiful location with fabulous views. We received a lovely welcome from the owner and the manager. The property is very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend!
A comfortable, clean and well positioned property. Well located for exploring Anglesey and Snowdonia.
We had a very pleasant week at this cottage. Harish and Sian are very helpful but not intrusive and offer suggestions of places to visit and checking everything was ok on arrival. The location is excellent for visiting a wide range of places to spend the day Lots of good dog walks on beaches, woodland and reservoir nearby. The setting is lovely with an orchard and garden. A decent space to walk the dog morning and night around the garden. It is a comfortable and adequately equipped cottage with a farmhouse kitchen rather than a slick and modern one. We would definitely put it on our...more
We had a 4 night stay here and really enjoyed the comfort of the apartment and the area . It was clean, modern and cosy. We managed to park outside but this could be hit and miss as it’s very limited parking . We just recommended a dedicated area with perhaps a stool & a mirror to do hair/ make up / shave . The bed is very comfortable but pillows need an upgrade . You are in walking distance of all eateries , pubs , Waitrose and areas of interest Menai bridge , church island . We did the Ribride in lovely weather which was well worth it . Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again lovely ...more
The cottage was lovely and dog friendly. There are 2 fields for your dogs to run on which are completely secure. Great location with a beach path to ligwe beach
Lovely holiday cottage, only a five minute walk from Lligwy beach and the coastal path. Other places to visit only a short drive away such as Benlech, Molfre and the Anglesey coast. The National Trust property of Plas Newedd is also only half an hour and well worth a visit. The cottage itself is very spacious and can accommodate 4 people easily. The dining and living areas on the first floor have uninterrupted views of the fields opposite and sea beyond. Kitchen is well equipped with 2 fridges and a freezer, oven, microwave, toaster etc. We had the front bedroom downstairs and found the bathro...more
A lovely 2 weeks at these well presented homes suitable for both adults and children. Plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Abersoch is great with some wonderful beaches. The host is very helpful with plenty of recommendations.
We stayed at Gardeners cottage for 5 days. The surrounding cottages are being renovated so there’s work going on, but didn’t disturb us during our stay. We had a problem with the TV (WiFi) when we first arrived and customer service was excellent. Everyone we met there were really friendly and welcoming. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and was immaculate. Kitchen had everything we needed. There are just a couple of comments I would like to make which will hopefully make stays more comfortable in the future. Whilst on holiday we like leisurely breakfasts and evening mea...more
Loved our 3rd stay but patio chairs in a terrible state badly in need of a coat of Hammerite. Garden could do with some TLC. We couldnt get the towel rails to come on to dry our towels after a shower which wasnt good as we couldnt put stuff outside to dry because of rain. An over the mirror light in the bathroom is badly needed because you cant see to shave because the overhead lighting is so dull.
We had a pleasant stay at Minffordd Cottage - comfortable rooms if starting to get a little tired. Facilities for dogs were excellent. Would be happy to stay there again. Only slight negative was a lack of wherewithal to clear up - no dustpan & brush etc.
This was our second weekend stay at Pengolwg and it was as memorable as the first The spacious and well equipped kitchen, the large lounge with incredibly comfy sofas and the dining room with the table comfortably fitting all of us. Each bedroom has a bed with the most comfortable mattress I have ever experienced. There are plenty of showers & bathrooms all exceptionally appointed We all agree (9 adults & 2 children) it is the perfect home in the perfect location, so much so we have booked for a week next year!
The cottage was easy to book and there were no issues at all in administration. The cottage was exceptionally clean. It was spacious. The kitchen was stocked with all things required. Lovely upstairs bathroom and downstairs shower room. Water was continually hot. Exceptionally well heated .The dog exercise areas useful although neither these or the garden were properly enclosed for a small adventurous dog who could escape under gates or through hedges. The cottage was well situated for the beach and not far from Moelfre.
We really enjoyed our break at Puffin Cottage and were pleasantly surprised by just how spacious and comfortable it is. A useful terrace in addition to a further internal sunroom/terrace, 3 good size bedrooms 1 double,1 triple and 1 single,a large lounge/dining room, 2 bathrooms and a good kitchen plus plenty of storage. Everything is in good condition and spotless. The location is very central to everything and nice and quiet. We would happily try to stay again.
Great little cottage in the centre of Beaumaris, handy for the main high street, the gaol and the seafront. Warm and cosy and welcoming and fine for a family of four (two adults, two mid-teens). Well stocked kitchen with tea, coffee and a little bottle of milk (could have done with providing a couple of dishwasher tablets or mentioning to bring some, and some terrible cutlery) and great smart tv in a comfy lounge. No parking, but parking in the streets nearby caused no issues. Would go back.
Really lovely property, lovely care package on arrival was a lovely touch. During our stay we had an issue with the fridge and they resolved it quickly. Amazing coastline only 5 min from the property. Great dog friendly cottage.
Fabulous location great place and plenty of outstanding beaches will be back on this island later in year
Looking at past reviews , this cottage has been a popular booking but the recent new owners appear not to have attended to outstanding issues others previously mentioned . In addition there was a lack of furniture eg coffee table, lamps etc , which had been removed in the sale. The cottage was clean throughout but equipment such as the waste bin, toilet roll holder and drainer needed replacing for hygiene reasons. There is no wardrobe or drawers to speak of. With some investment by the new owners this cottage could be wonderful and it is to the credit of Oyster Cottages they took the issues w...more
The house was perfect for our girlie gathering. Lovely walk to the local restaurant over the stepping stones. The hot tub, sauna and ice bath were an added bonus. Quick and helpful response from the host regarding yoga and outside catering. Would definitely recommend.
It was a lovely stay but cottage needs improvement. We have stayed here every year for 5 years & have noticed things are starting to slip. Kitchen utensils …glasses…pans & other items need replacing. We have always had a welcome pack but not this stay. Small gestures that make customers return.
The caravan is set in a field well away from the road. It is nicely furnished and cosy with central heating. We were self catering and found that the kitchen lacked a few items such as cereal /dessert bowls, table mats, mixing bowl, sieve and jug. One of the kitchen ceiling bulbs had blown which made it rather dim. The shower light in the bathroom was also not working. The lounge furniture was very comfortable as was the king size bed. We were surprised and delighted to find a walk in wardrobe and an en-suite shower room in the main bedroom. The local Tesco Express was well stocked and open...more
What a wonderful location, right by the sea with varied walks along the beach or headland. East to travel around Anglesey .Wonderful cottage very well equipped with everything we needed. (Freezer was in garden shed.) Would definitely visit again.
It’s a lovely location and high standard accommodation. A few issues , a problem with drains really quickly resolved by the team, excellent customer service. The property is advertised as having a charging point. With a hybrid car we were looking forward to using it and asked before the trip how to access it. We were told this was being sorted out but it wasn’t. It was hard to see the point and no one had allowed access when we tried to use the app. This must not be advertised as if you booked with a fully electric care it would be a great difficulty. There are many great places to visit l...more
Everything we needed was provided, bonus tesco delivered. Very quiet location and peaceful. Hot tub looked good but didn't use.
Lovely cottage , very remote and comfortable. Owners communication was very good. Great base for mountains and peace .
Lovely location in the old town centre, 5 minutes walk to the castle square. Big kitchen with everything you need, comfortable bed and decent shower. There was a problem when I arrived as the house hadn't been cleaned properly; to their credit, the company responded to my emails immediately and arranged a complete clean the next morning.
The photos don't lie! Just as depicted. Right in the heart of Beaumaris with its great shops and eateries. No TV channels supplied so bring your own.
Two of us stayed in this 3 bed cosy coastal cottage, right opposite the beach at Moelfre. Breathtaking sunrises (in October) and great views over to the mountains of Snowdon from the ‘roof top’ balcony. Well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and comfy beds. One criticism is the hot water : beware ! Water gets hot but there’s only enough in the tank for one bath and the flow tails off dramatically. You’ll need to operate the boost dial for bath #2 - or use the shower, which is fine. It’s a lovely place to stay & we have already re-booked for next year.
An excellent, quiet location with lovely views of the Menai Strait and Telford Suspension Bridge. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Any issues we had were quickly dealt with by Oyster Holiday Cottages. The stairs are quite steep and narrow so care needs to be taken especially if you have mobility issues. We would certainly consider a return visit to Dolfor.
Lovely property with great outside space and hot tub. The refurbished rooms and the way the cottage has been decorated is very nice. Lovely lounge, dining room and bedrooms, in particular the large bedroom. The house was very well equipped and the towels were excellent quality. Some maintenance is required on sticking doors and sliding toilet seats. The cutlery is worn and needs replacement and the kitchen cupboards need a deep clean. The right hand oven on the range was temperamental and the kitchen is due an upgrade. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
The house is beautiful, well equipped and perfectly located. We’ve stayed here for a number of years and it’s nice to see there are small improvements to amenities and the decor each time we’ve visited. The area is fantastic, it’s easy to walk to the beach and a pub is only a couple of minutes away. We usually spend time in the garden if the weather is nice and the views are fantastic. Highly recommend.
After staying in a neighbouring property we tried the Manor House for a change and for a special birthday. Was a little dissappointed in the amount of cobwebs in the bedrooms and a dead moth on the bed. The property is so beautiful but just needs a little tlc - i.e. grease marks around the stove area. Chipped paintwork on the painted areas. Pans provided which are not compatible with the hob. The paintwork upstairs has been touched up on the walls but the colours don't match. The sofas are comfortable but dreadfully low! That being said it did not stop us admiring the beauty of the building an...more
We really enjoyed our stay at The Outbuildings. The house is incredibly spacious, with comfortable beds and furniture. The gardens were fabulous, with plenty of space for our little ones to run off steam. The tennis court and snooker table were just the icing on the cake! The cleanliness of the bedding, towels, and the inside and outside was excellent. I can't recommend enough!
We’ve stayed at garden cottage usually but had 2x more adults with us the property was stunning clean and tidy and plenty of room and accessible with down stairs bedroom and bathroom for those that struggle with stairs. The garden is huge with a lovely view Highly recommend
We had a great holiday. The house is really well located in Menai Bridge for shops and pubs and set back from the road so lovely and quiet. The rooms are all a good size and really comfy beds. Just a couple of tweaks with the house as no hairdryer or iron, and there could be more outdoor seating - we were ok as 3 adults but more people would struggle. Overall a lovely relaxing stay - Anglesey is gorgeous
Sea Breezes was very well located in Moelfre, which is itself well located in Anglesey. The apartment was very comfortable and was provided with everything we needed. Julia and Mike were very responsive to a couple of small issues that we had. We enjoyed two meals in the Kinmel Arms.
What a hidden gem! Such a beautiful peaceful place. A lovely house full of character with a wonderful unique garden and stunning views of the Malltraeth Estuary and Snowdonia. There was plenty of space for all 7 of us, plus 2 dogs and had everything we could possibly need. Thank you so much!
Lovely bungalow and very spacious and well equipped....lovely view and great garden areas front and back..It was nice they supplied an iron and ironing board.. We recommend taking small fans for the bedrooms when its hot..I think for the price it would of been nice to have a small tv in each bedroom so not all the time we all had to be in the same room watching the same thing and having some down time after days out together.. other than that we have no negatives ..The bar just round the corner is perfect for heading out for a nice cold pint. We have been holidaying in Llanbedrog for many many...more
Very comfortable cottage beautiful and quiet. The TV maybe a bit challenging but that’s about all .Very comfortable and well equipped .Very happy holiday thank you!
Such a gorgeous little cottage. It’s small but perfect for two people and our dog. Bed really comfy, kitchen well equipped and cozy lounge for relaxing. It’s in a great location - so easy to walk into Beaumaris and to get out and about around Anglesey and north wales in the car.
We had a wonderful time on the Llŷn Peninsula. We visited some of our favourite beaches at Lanbedrog and Porth Neigwl. We discovered a new favourite at The Warren. We were delighted that The Sun was easily walkable and enjoyed a lovely meal there with our dogs. We walked into Abersoch too and enjoyed strolling around the village. We were near enough to Anglesey to visit a friend for the day too . Y Stabl provided roomy and comfortable accommodation, our dogs loved it too - the field at the front is very useful for a quick morning walk. We're already considering booking again for next year....more
We had a fabulous weeks stay, great base for visiting lots of different places. Great lounge, dining and kitchen area. Bedroom and shower over the bath. There were 2 other bedrooms and a bathroom with a shower cubicle but we didn't use them. Dog friendly too. Parking at the front with a shared garden with the property next door. Great site. Llanbedrog beach is nearby and a great beach.
Pauline was a very welcoming host. The location is spot on. Great bars and places to eat with the beach just a stroll away. All the amenities to hand in the home. The house was clean and tidy. Good parking on drive. Quiet neighbourhood. Airfryer ? Faulty and coffee machine leaked. A small back garden but didnt matter given time of year and with beach so close. A pouffe or two is always handy to put your feet up and relax. Not far to walk/drive to enjoy the beautiful landscape across Anglesey! Had a lovely holiday
The furniture was old secondhand. There was a smell of damp. Location o.k. But parking very poor; you had to keep moving you’re car. Very expensive; 800.00 We could have payed £300 to £400 for B and B We had to pay in 3 stages instead of one!
Very nice flat in a lovely setting. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Nice outlook over the gardens. Would recommend.
What a beautiful family sized home, with the most epic view. I woke every morning and watched the sunrise and spent every evening watching it go down behind the castle. Our group consisted of a range of ages from 5 to 67 including 3 teenagers and everyone had a wonderful time. The table tennis was a perfect activity to use excess energy of an evening. The patio was a perfect book reading spot and we were in driving distance of some amazing spots in North Wales that we had on our bucket list. There are some areas looking a little tired but overall the house felt clean and cared for. We would ce...more
Wonderful location with lovely walks & views around it. Beach only 10 minutes from the property which our pups loved as their first time. Garden was great for the four dogs we had with us, fully enclosed. Hot tub & sauna were a great hit with everyone. Weather was brilliant all week, we all really enjoyed our stay.
When we arrived the cottage was cold and a little musty. We couldn't get the heating to work. A plumber got the plumbing working after we had been there for 24 hours but then there was no hot water, we did eventually find a switch to manually get the hot water going. One of the showers wasn't working, this was fixed fairly quickly. The location is great, the lounge is cosy and comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped. Upstairs is tired and somewhat shabby. We thought it was overpriced, £705 for 4 nights in October
Garden cottage is a cute old cottage in the middle of woodland. It is warm and comfortable and has an excellent shower and big comfy beds. Staff and owner are helpful and friendly and the cottage is about to be redecorated to spruce it up. The kitchen is very small but everything functions and I left instruction for starting the dishwasher in the cutlery drawer Chatgbt very helpful! Garden is not secure for a dog but is enormous and lovely. Overall we would stay again as it fitted our needs well for an autumnal break with a setter!
Everything fine. A bit more kitchen equipment, a few books, games and a puzzle would be fantastic for the rainy days.
Simple, charming, clean and warm. The underfloor heating was a surprise and provides ample heat. A very comfortable bed. A good supply of logs and kindling for the first night or two. The fenced garden was big enough for our 2 dogs although one of them did escape - the fence isn't high at one end. The location is quiet, rarely a car but plenty of people walking past the cottage to keep our dogs entertained. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend Plas Bach.
Good size, excellent location if you like isolated and nature. Traditional building. Well equipped, nice feel to the property Should make clear that you need to bring your own towels Should use the council food waste collection service, and not advise to mix in with the general waste
I booked this cottage to be next door to family and the gardens meant that we could eat together. I knew that the doorsteps kitchen was tiny but did expect that there would be a small freezer that we could use . Information inside the cottage says that the freezer was inside the pantry but there wasnt one anywhere . It was very hot when we were there and would have liked to have the facility as stated also we would have liked to have been able to open the front bedroom window but unfortunately it had been painted closed.
House and garden where amazing. We didnt appriciate the 3 cameras that were recording us every time we used the garden or front door. No signage was on view to advise us of this and with 5 children it was a bit imtimidating as we didnt know what footage was taken or stored or shared. The information book did say there was one camera on the front drive but no mention of the other two. We have staying in many cottages and houses over the years but never experienced this. The house and facilities were beautiful and very well situated for days out in any weather.
One or two niggles. nearby parking almost impossible (street parking only and almost always taken by other resident. No separate bowl in kitchen sink. Centralish location - convenient.
This is our 10th year staying in one of the beautiful properties and we had a relaxing time. I do think that the furniture needs replacing now as it was far too low and a little hard after a while. The staff were very helpful. Thank you
Lovely accomadation tucked away in Anglsey. Well equipped with all you would need for a home from home. If get chance will certainly be back
Very spacious cottage with plenty room for our large family. Especially spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We found the cottage very clean and no issues with bugs etc. We enjoyed the cows and peacefullness of the location. We did find it strange however that such a large cottage hosting so many people would not have a dryer machine and not even a hanging rack. So it was disturbing that the laundry was all over the place...
Our first Llyn visit although we live further south in Wales. We loved Crowrach’s location tho it wasn’t until day 3 that the weather cleared and we saw the views for the first time - out early in our PJs with the camera! We’re not people who sit down much but I’d been looking forward to sitting on the big L-shaped sofa with the pouffe since I saw the photo and it was an absolute joy. Our final afternoon was spent on said sofa, reading and watching the clouds chase over the mountains. Heaven! We slept in the giant super-king bed which was really comfy. It would be good to have a blanket in the...more
A beautiful location, well appointed cottage to get away from the world. Very helpful support from owners should anything go wrong
On arrival, we were very disappointed to find the property dirty. The rug in the TV lounge was covered in dog hair. We tried to hoover it, but the hoover was full, so had to empty it before trying to clean the rug. The kitchen table cloth was sticky and there was food on the chairs. We found a wine glass in the cupboard with wine still in it! The grill in the oven did not work. We could not get the TV to work because there was a remote control missing. We eventually found this under a settee! Still couldn’t get the TV to work, so Oyster sent out a TV guy who found a loose connection to the Sat...more
The property is in an excellent location being within walking distance of the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. No need to travel further afield, although the peninsula has so much to offer with great walks, beaches and places of interest. You should never be bored.
Our stay was perfect , booked for family to celebrate our Golden Wedding , cottage was amazing there wasnt anything it didnt have ( only downfall for us was id didnt have downstair toilet which would have been great as our youngest grandchild toilet training ) .location was ideal added bonus for us although it was October had good weather was able to take kids on beach plenty of bars & places to eat minutes walk away Would highly reccommend
A character property offering large indoor and outdoor spaces. Very quiet location, car or cycle required to get to local attractions.
Positives - lovely location, good quality linen Negatives- a lot of chipped crockery and glassware, kitchen needs an update (peeling in places), bathroom window didn't open, black mold in shower, shower head didn't fit holder very securely, scaffolding poles left in garden, some crockery not clean, marks on cupboard doors Note, there is a flat above, so expect some noise
Good location for visiting local towns and beaches, meeting our needs. Very relaxing and peaceful location surrounded by woodlands and fields as well as a lake. Owner on site and friendly.
So good to be back at Tan y Fynwent, cottage was spotless and comfortable, lovely dog friendly garden.
The location is good but parking is challenging due to the building site at the rear of the property. There television is rudimentary and needs upgrading, the fascia on the central island needs replacing (constantly falls off). There is nowhere to dry washing and downstairs doesn’t get any sunlight. There was no visitor information or safety instructions. Ideally prospective renters should be made aware is the attached annexe at the rear of the property which the garden is above.
The cottage is beautiful and charming, full of character. Well equipped with kitchen and dining wares. Tea and coffee was much appreciated. Personally, I would put the dining table in the kitchen and put another little sofa in the living room. The outside courtyard needs tidying up, couple of mops were left outside in the rain, seating cushions also left out in the rain, which meant that when it warmed up at the weekend, they were too wet to sit on them, a little outside cupboard to store them in when not in use would be great, overgrown brambles in front of the gate and in the courtyar...more
