Issues.
Apart from the bedroom the property is very dark with no external light at all in the lounge. We had lighting on for the duration of our stay
The sofa in the lounge was too soft, too low and very uncomfortable providing no support
Ants were present each morning on the kitchen worktops and wooden sideboard. Despite wrapping cake in cling film and a food bag it was crawling with ants the next morning
The duvet was very heavy and too warm. On inspection it was found to be 13.5tog which is a winter weight. It was also filled with duck feathers which could explain sneezing in the night. Anybody with allergies would find this troublesome and a hypoallergenic alternative should be considered
Though the seating area at the front of the property was very pleasant the same could not be said for the rear courtyard. It was grim and in need of attention. Nobody would want to sit out there
The sink in the bathroom was positioned ridiculously low on the wall, more suited to a child than an adult
Parking was an issue but we were aware that this could be the case just not how inconvenient it actually was
The owner obviously has very eclectic taste and there is a considerable amount of ornaments and bric a brac which was not to our personal taste. Why there were bits of rock glued to the top of the dining chairs remains a mystery

Positives
Great location
Lovely seating area with view at the front
Modern well equipped kitchen though no kitchen paper was provided
The bedroom was bright and sunny with a nice aspect. We sat in here for the majority of the time as it had a better ambience
Oyster holidays were quick to intervene when the owner did not respond to a query about the the central heating and it was resolved satisfactorily

Overall we enjoyed our stay in Beaumaris but we would not return to 5 Raglan Street

We have stayed in Beaumaris tons of times but always in a hotel. We decided to have a little break where we could be self sufficient having eaten out in every bar/restaurant previously. This place was ‘just perfect’ it was like staying in a friends home. EVERYTHING was provided. All top quality and very homely.
There’s was not one thing not to like!
The kitchen is great
Will definitely be returning.

We love staying in Beaumaris the apartment was just in th middle of everything to get to the apartment was lovely clean and cosy with everything you need in there thanks again

This is a very well equipped apartment in a great central location. It’s very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The front patio is a real sun trap with spectacular views towards Snowdonia. There are plenty of local restaurants and places of interest to visit in Beaumaris. I hope to return.

Great accommodation, great location and a very friendly and helpful host. Oyster Cottages were efficient and offered extra support. Anglesey has lots of wonderful scenery.
