A lovely stay in Driftshore cottage and central to everything, the cottage was perfect and clean and was a pleasure to stay there
Really enjoyed the standard of cleanliness, choice of furniture and furnishings. We felt that 15 was a higher standard than 16 . We appreciated the full size dish washer and really enjoyed the courtyard area . Perfect location with beaches literally around the corner and restaurants nearby. Fabulous views and scenery . So impressed with the service that cherished cottages provides .
Atlantic Watch is perfect in every way. From the moment we walked in we were all wowed by the property and the location. We couldn't wish for anything better. It was our first holiday with both our daughters, their husbands and our three grandsons and we all had a fabulous time. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year and we can't wait!
West Coast House delivered in every way and felt even larger in places than the pictures suggested. The road to the rear parking area is very narrow and not the easiest manoeuvre to get cars onto the drive but worth the effort as finding a parking space in St Ives can be difficult. Despite it being tight we did manage to fit three cars into the drive. Anyone staying should be aware that all walking routes to the town and beach include steep paths but again expected anywhere in St Ives. Everything finished to a high standard and Cherished Cottages were very accomodating to our needs. 100% recom...more
Excellent accommadation and location family thoroughly enjoyed holiday Needs few additional cooking utensils and floor sweeping brush,
We finally enjoyed our stay at Seascape after various attempts through the pandemic! Firstly a huge thank you to the team at Cherished Cottages for excellent customer service throughout! Seascape is a lovely house, equipped with everything you need! It has unrivalled views of St Ives and beyond and is comfortable and welcoming. There was a lovely welcome gift of local produce which was enjoyed by all. The main top floor bedroom does have a narrow staircase to climb but it if you are able then it is definitely worth it. The 2 bedrooms we used were really comfortable (in fact we wanted to...more
Only 2 small negatives for us , where small pans in kitchen and we prefer a shower which was over the bath and due to hieght of ceiling not that easy to use. Neither would stop me booking this brilliant property again.
Absolutely amazing property so clean and tidy and very spacious. We struggle as a family of 6 with a dog to find a property to suit all our needs and parking, but this house is more than we could ever expect. Perfect location for the town with a very quick 2 min walk to the seafront and very easy for disabled within our family. Parking spaces close to the property are like gold dust in St Ives. Wonderful views and amazing outdoor space. Cannot recommend this house enough! We will definitely be back! Perfect family holiday home!
Great home for the family including our 2 grandchildren. Great views, lovely garden and well equipped kitchen. Very welcome outside warm shower to rinse off when you come back from the beach.
Another wonderful week in Red Sails! We love staying here, it’s in the perfect location - moments away from the harbour and beaches. The cottage is bright and airy, spotlessly clean and has some lovely furnishings. Comfy bed and great shower. Brilliant welcome gift and fantastic staff at cherished! Can’t wait to go back!
This place is lovely fresh clean beds comfy , parking is a must in st ives this place has it all my disabled son loved the hot tub . Will defo be going back Christine is helpful nothing a problem thanks x
Had a lovely stay in Westholme in fact stayed last year (2021) and came back again this year! Everything you could want in a home, we have had a very comfortable 2 weeks. Very clean when we arrived and a great little bag of goodies to start us off. Absolutely stunning views from the upstairs lounge. Will definitely be staying again!! Thank you Cherished Cottages x
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bay House. It is in a good location, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, galleries and beautiful beaches. The house was immaculate, very comfortable and beautifully decorated.
The area is perfect, quiet and with a cracking view. We don't mind the walk back up to the apartment. A parking space is brilliant. Bathrooms are modern and clean. We love the use of space and the room created in this apartment as well as the practical added storage solutions which similar apartments lack. It could maybe do with a few more glasses and plates as well as a few more pictures on the bear walls but I am nitpicking because it was the best stay we have ever had on the Belyars.
Great view of the harbour and coastline. The house has a good sized living room. The kitchen is well equipped with a tiled floor. Ideal if you have a dog. We had a great relaxing stay. And will return again soon.
My Mum and I stayed for 2 weeks, the cottage is comfortable, beautifully decorated and so well-equipped! They've really thought of everything you might need on holiday. The welcome hamper and the milk in the fridge on arrival, were indeed very welcome after an 8 hour journey. The location is fantastic too, close to beaches, the Island, harbour, galleries, places to eat, and the very well-stocked Norway Stores for food shopping is a couple of minutes away. The delightful Olive's Cafe is just around the corner too. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend the cottage and Cherished, whose cus...more
The Beach Snug is in a perfect location just moments from Porthmeor beach. Very comfortable with all mod cons. Its location means it is well located for a day at the beach and also is at the start of the coastal walk down to Zennor. It is all right next to the cafe.
Really enjoyed our stay at the studio, perfect for a couple, the front door could do with a blind as it feels like people can see in at night & the water from the shower sprays onto the bathroom floor a little bit, this didn’t spoil our stay in any way though, perfect little retreat in St Ives, and the generous hamper was a nice surprise too thank you.
Stunning cottage in the centre of St Ives. Location was great for visiting all the beaches and a minute stroll to all the shops and restaurants. Small outside space that we made great use of as it gets the sun all day and into the evening. Would absolutely recommend!
One of the best apartments we have stayed in. Good location with excellent facilities. Having parking is a plus but only for a small to medium sized car. We took took our Honda Jazz only just fitted in the space.
The best location and view in St Ives plus a great apartment all round. The two balconies are a real bonus plus easy beach access and right in Downalong.
There were six adults in our party and we each loved our stay. There are lovely views of the harbour, island and out into the bay. Plenty of seating space and a brilliantly equipped kitchen. If you are familiar with St Ives you are aware of the hills so the walk back from town can be a little tough on old tired bodies, but there is a bus stop right outside The View to take the edge of the last stretch. Even so for a slow walker like me you can be into the town/harbour within 15 to 20 minutes. If I had any niggle it would be that the mattresses were not to my comfort level, but everyone is d...more
The town house was lovely it had everything you could want and more. My only complaint is that for the money you pay you only get one car park pass for two cars. It is very difficult when you go out separately. If you have two parking spaces you need two cards. But other than that I would recommend the house to everyone. Plenty of room for the eight of us .
Staying here was the perfect accommodation for myself and my family which includes two elderly relatives . It was in excellent condition, really clean and was so near to two beaches without any steps or difficulty in accessibility . The only disappointment was that when we arrived the stair lift wasn’t working properly which made it very difficult to transport my parent s to the accommodation . You resolved this quickly the next day , however thought this could of been checked before our arrival. Also there was only a small dishwasher when for the number of guests there should be a full sized ...more
Immaculately clean , lovely house. A blind on skylight in bedroom would be good. Otherwise really nice
We loved our stay at Hardy’s Cottage. Wonderful location and comfortable, beautiful accommodation with all the facilities we needed. We will definitely be back.
Will absolutely be staying here again. Perfect position, everything we needed and dog friendly. Right next to the beach, everything in walking distance. Couldn’t have been cleaner or more comfy.
Another wonderful holiday with cherished cottages. Lovely cottage in a great position. Right next to a island car park. It was out of the busy season so parking wasn’t a problem as we have a blue badge and always managed a disabled bay. Only weekends you would struggle. So we stayed in st ives and went exploring in our car week days. Gorgeous Bright sunny kitchen … only an under counter fridge with ice box so remember when you order your shopping. Not a problem if you eat out. But would recommend taking a mini freezer to take with you if you need more space. Toilet downstairs a plus for us...more
One of the nicest cottages our family have stayed in. We'll cared for with a lot of attention to detail including some lovely artwork. Very clean and very comfortable and great location. Thoughtful welcome bag with local produce of tea, coffe wine and some milk in fridge to start off and even dog friendly chocolate for our dog. The little touches like this and the fresh cut flowers made it more special. Would definitely recommend and we would come back.
We booked this stay in 2019 for 2020 - long before Covid was heard about. Obviously we couldn't go in 2020 and 2021 was put off due to the G8 meeting so finally we made it this year. It was worth the wait - it is the most fantastic holiday let and worth every penny. The view from the back of the house is phenomenal and the short walk to the beach is an added bonus. We came down by train from Cumbria as you don't need a car in St Ives (you wouldn't want one anyway) and the house is a short walk away from all the facilities you could need. Every room was a delight but the sitting room is extraor...more
We absolutely loved every moment of our stay at Rose Vale Villa. Everything was wonderful, and the customer service was excellent- The twin bunk beds were a little uncomfortable for an adult and so I called to see if a Mattress topper could be provided. A brand new memory foam mattress topper was delivered the very next day and resolved the issue. Beautifully decorated throughout, although there were a few scuff marks on the walls which need painting over, and one of the paintings in the living room is coming off the wall- Other than this, the place is absolutely spotless. Lovely welcome hampe...more
The house had recently been refurbished and was in great condition. It's in a super location near to the wharf and the beaches and the views across the harbour from the first and second floor are amazing.
We (2 adults and 4 teenage girls) stopped for a week over Easter and we loved it. It’s a beautiful place and we never felt like we were on top of each other. It’s also a great location. The kids were able to bounce between town and the various beaches with no fuss.
Great location & holiday let in St. Ives, short 5 minute walks to shops, pubs, beach & coastal path. Lovely view from top bedroom. I would definitely recommend.
I do absolutely love this apartment. Stunning. There really is nothing we would change, its a shame it doesnt come with parking. But i appreciate that cant be helped The only small thing i would say, arriving to only half a toilet roll after a 9 hour drive, wasnt very helpful
