This stunning house was perfect for our New Years stay. More than sufficiently equipped for 10 , amazing views and a perfect location to bars, restaurants, beaches, harbour & beautiful walks. Our party consisted of various ages from 15 to 50 years, and everyone had a fab time. Will definitely be back to Bellair House in the future.
Just come back from a great week in St Ives. Great weather, great accomodation, missing it already.
Fantastic stay at this lovely house only a few minutes walk from Porthmeor beach and central st Ives. The south facing terrace with distant views of the harbour was a wonderful place to breakfast or relax after a morning’s surfing. Although central, the area was quiet and traffic free. Awakening to the sea view from the main bedroom was a joy. The house was well equipped with quality appliances and crockery... the beds were comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The second small sitting area on the first floor meant that two couples could have their own space if wanted. Lack of a ...more
We have stayed at a few Cherished properties over the years and none have let us down including West Coast House - great location very close to the beach, restaurants as well as the Tate Gallery. Great views over Porthmeor and Clodgy from the house which itself was of a very high standard both decor & furniture wise, we will be returning!
Spent nine nights celebrating our 25th Wedding Anniversary with the family, the house made it a perfect location to enjoy St Ives and the hot tub was a great bonus
We have stayed in the Downalong area of St Ives before so we know it’s a perfect location for the beaches, harbour and town centre. Red Sails is a lovely spacious cottage, very well equipped and well decorated. There is no car access immediately outside but you can drop off easily a few metres away. The harbour is minutes away down the cobbled street, though those with limited mobility might find this a bit tricky in wet conditions as it’s on a small slope. The house itself has a spiral staircase from the kitchen up to the living room but the access from street level is on the flat. There are ...more
This was our 3rd visit to Seascape, 3 generations all enjoying the lovely house, views and location. The house is beautifully furnished and equipped and works well for the different age groups as we can spread ourselves out rather than all being in one open plan space. Being so close to Porthmeor beach and the shops is a huge advantage, as is the fact we can park the cars and forget about them for a week. The small boys loved playing with the toys and our 12 year old granddaughter made good use of the kitchen as she loves baking. Seascape really does feel like home!
We throughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the window was fantastic, we spent a lot of time just seating in the window enjoying a coffee or a glass of wine and the view. Location was perfect for the various restaurants and pubs. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need for a very comfortable stay, very cosy. We hope to visit again. Many thanks.
Fantastic property. Great location overlooking the beach. Spacious, well equipped, parking for two cars and a short walk to the town centre and restaraunts. Highly recommended. Will definitely return
Everything was perfect. The view was breathtaking at every time of day or night. The rooms were all sparkling clean and thoughtfully decorated to reflect Cornwall and St. Ives. Every amenity was considered and provided. The welcome hamper was an absolute treat! Even the perfect weather was arranged for us ;) Well done. Wish we could have stayed all summer long. Thank you!!!!
What a lovely find. Lovely modern house with everything you would need, including amazing views. We had a lovely week , despite the wet and stormy weather. Had plans to watch the sunset but manged to storm watch instead. Property is lovely with will fitted out kitchen, beautifully decorated bedrooms, great utility room with spare surfboards as well. Welcome pack was delicious. Loved it so much, already booked for next year!! Hope to watch the sunset over Porthmeor next time.
What a wonderful place! The views were amazing and the house was fantastic, very stylish and everything you could possibly need. We will stay again!
A very well-appointed, spacious, apartment with the added bonuses of a sea view and on-site parking in St Ives. Approx. 10-15 minutes’ walk on public footpaths takes you to the beautiful beaches and harbor of this lovely Cornish town.
We have just returned from a great stay in this very cosy comfortable well equipped cottage. Loved it all.
Everything about Mariners is fantastic and it is clear whoever renovated it and looks after it. Wants to make sure it has the qualities of a top notch home. I’ve never been in a house that has everything you need to the extent that this house does. We loved it and will be back!
I booked Sea View Place because of its amazing location right on Bamaluz beach and it didn't disappoint. We were woken each morning by stunning sunrises and sea views. Perfect for my short break and my dog loved looking out of the window too. Perfectly located for access to all St Ives has to offer, gorgeous comfy beds and stylish furniture. Showers were amazing and a well equipped kitchen for a family stay...I will be back.
Stayed at Sailfish Cottage over Christmas week and it was a great choice. Felt at home from the minute we walked in they had thought of everything every little detail and the location and vibe in the town added to a wonderful relaxing Christmas break.
Service levels in the apartment are first rate. The oven wasn't working properly on the day before Christmas and having reported it first thing in the morning, a new oven had been installed by lunchtime! The car parking space is very tight for a larger vehicle, but it's a great asset to have in the centre of St Ives. The only slight negative worth mentioning is that the electric hob is very dated and the knob markers for the rings have worn away, so learning which controls which is by trial and error.
Cosy two bed apartment with great views. Short walk into town, but steep walk back! Very clean, tidy and modern. Just lacked a bit of storage space in kitchen for food. Pillows a bit uncomfortable.
We stayed here for NYE and we had a lovely stay. The Christmas decorations were a lovely addition. This property was cosy and welcoming after a day walking round St Ives and other areas .
What a wonderful week. What a beautiful house in a lovely location. Simply perfect. Stunningly decorated and equipped. We could not have wished for anything else... fabulous memories. We will certainly be returning. :)
A beautiful house with fantastic views. The welcome pack was a lovely surprise and the house was warm and cosy on arrival. The only negative was there is only 1 small wardrobe within the house so we had to live out of a suitcase for the week. My Son who is 12 refused to sleep in the small bunk bed room because it felt creepy and was decorated pink. I ended up sleeping in that room and it wasn’t great. There is a real fussiness to it. My advice would be decorate the bunk bed room in neutral/seaside theme and provide a wardrobe for the main room.
I have absolutely fallen in love with 16 St. Nicholas court. It’s got everything you need to act as a home from home for however long you are staying and it’s so modern and comfortable. As someone who has been on holiday to st ives every year from birth to the age of 16, also stayed in st nicholas court every time I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else. I now visit once or twice a year as an adult and number 16 is my favourite flat to stay in for sure! I recommend it to everybody and the team at Cherished cottages are always a pleasure to deal with and make everything so easy. I’d live there if...more
We had a lovely holiday in this fantastic apartment. Very spacious and clean with everything you need. What a view! Many thanks.
Tinhay is a lovely property close to beaches and the town centre. Access is difficult by car due to the narrow street so advice where to park nearby whilst you drop off cases would be helpful,a reserved parking space in nearby Barnoon car park would be an even greater asset and worth paying more for the rental hire. Although the decor and downstairs layout is very tasteful the seating arrangement is not adequate for 5, let alone 6 adults (as there are 3 double bedrooms) hence one of our party sat elsewhere upstairs or on a hard kitchen chair.Although it was pleasant not to have tvs in th...more
As always we had a wonderful time in 20 Piazza. The view is beautiful. The flat is very comfortable and well equipped. Cherished Cottages are fabulous and help immediately if any issues arise. When I explained my allergy to fragrance they took great care to remove any diffusers and to use non-scented cleaning products which is important for us as I suffer with all the artificial room sprays and scented cleaning products. It is lovely to know we can book safe in the knowledge that we are going to a relaxing place. Many thanks Cherished Cottages.
Rock House was everything and more we could have hoped for to spend a week over the festive new year period. Having looked forward to a wonderful break after a hectic run up to Christmas, once again St Ives and a cherished cottages did not disappoint. The quality of rock house from every aspect was simply stunning, and absolutely perfect for large families with dogs. We will be sure to stay at this property again, and cannot thank Cherished enough for how well they look after us from the point of booking and right throughout our stay. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Rose Vale Villa was just perfect for our family Christmas holiday! It had everything and more. We loved it. A quiet location but only a 5 minute walk to the shops and sea. The garden is fenced in so it was safe for our dogs. We couldn’t of asked for anything more we had the best family holiday ever we’re already talking about when we’ll go back!
The Tide House provided a perfect cottage for an Autumn break - whatever the weather! It is close to all the lovely St Ives beaches when the weather is gloriously sunny - and snug with a wood burning stove when the wind and rain is doing its worst. We had a wonderful relaxing week, even though it was out of season there is still plenty to do and see. I would highly recommend.
This was possibly the loveliest accomodation we have ever stayed in St Ives. Ships Loft is well located for easy access to all beaches and shops.
St Ives is the perfect place to stay ! Surf Cottage is lovely in every way ...clean , comfortable etc ! Would definitely recommend!! Perfect .....
14 Barnaloft is a very special place. From the amazing view that wows you as you enter the door to the nuances of the sea and light that entrance the longer you stay. No matter what time of year this property holds jewels of experiences for those who stay. Walk to dinner along the beach. Sit on the balcony later and star gaze. No need for a tv, beach life provides an ever changing motion picture. Relaxing in this well designed apartment is a dream.
Perfect cottage for a week away with friends. And the dog. Welcome hamper was an added bonus which was much appreciated. House has everything you could ask for, beautifully renovated and modern. Parking was a bonus. Delightful.
The Wreck is ideally positioned on the level lane of the Digey between Porhtmeor and the town. This house has steep steps from basement kitchen and bathroom through to the bedrooms of the second floor. The steps from ground floor to basement are also uneven, without handrail and need care. Booking through Cherished Cottages was straightforward and without hitch. We enjoyed our week here at the end of September because we were so convenient for all of St Ives facilities.
