We truly enjoyed our stay at Rock farm. Everything from accommodation to facilities is excellent. The staff are so helpful and pleasant and the surroundings are stunning. I couldn't have asked for anything better.
We booked the entire Rock Farm for a company night away. Such a wonderful place. Views of Slane Castle over the river. Delicious hosted BBQ. Hot tub. Campfire. Most luxurious glamping yurts I've ever seen. Very very special indeed. The Rock Farm team were brilliant, we wanted for nothing. Heartily recommend.
We could not have been more pleased with the accommodations nor the the service approach from our host. We would return in a heartbeat. And probably will, but we'll bring a lot more friends next time.
Although it was a short stay it was a wonderful one! It's cosy, warm and in the most beautiful surroundings. We'll be back!!
Had a great time with my friends at Rockfarm. It is a beautiful place perfect for people of all ages. The outdoor hot tub was probably our favourite part of the trip. Lots to see and do, would highly recommend for people with young children and nature lovers. Although I was there with a group of 20 year old girls so it really is for everyone! DO IT!!!
This was our second glamping experience at Rock Farm and we loved our stay just as much as our first. Rock Farm is an amazing experience. The yurts are spacious with great wood burning stoves to keep you warm. The amenities are great - especially the hot showers in the morning and the staff are wonderful. They did everything to make our stay a great one. As a family, we have decided to make Rock Farm our summer 'place to go' when we need a few days away. The glamping experience is perfect for kids and there is very little 'roughing it' involved for the adults. I would definitely recommend it.
what a placed, we all had a great wkend. the house its self was very spacious and maintained to a high standard. loved the pizza oven on the Friday night. house was cold when we arrived and the dishwasher wasnt working but Rockfarm did mention they had issue with the boiler and the dishwasher. overall fab spot and would definitely recommend.
Had my sisters Hen Party in Rock Farm. It was brilliant, plenty of firewood to keep the stoves going in our yurts. Outdoor hot tub was fantastic. Provided us with everything we needed and the staff were really helpful. Would recommend and hope to go back again.
Enjoyed the Yurts and the general facilities, as did the kids. Would suggest that you put in additional "play area" with swings or slides as one swing is not enough. Hot Tub was a fun new experience in the cold.
We had a brilliant time and will be back! Can't recommend this place enough, it was exactly what we needed and luxurious to boot. The farm animals and wildlife were lovely and the country air was bliss, truly relaxing us; whether we were in the (fab) hottub, relaxing by the woodburning stove or walking around the farm. We stayed for a wedding, plus another night, and everything was great. The bed was mega-comfortable, the hut was cosy and moving about by torchlight at night was a novelty. I think even if we were going to a Dublin event we would stay here and drive - it's worth it!
We had a wonderful stay, I would definitely recommend this place to large groups looking for a place to do team building exercises far from the usual noisy lifestyles.
I had a very pleasant stay. Only the breakfast pack - it was too much (I had to share the bananas and oranges with a little girl)
Great weekend spent enjoying the peace, quiet and comfort on Rock Farm. Great people working there too. Would highly recommend.
It was a very different type of weekend break for me, my first time in a yurt. The staff did all they could to make us as comfortable as possible. The kitchen area was lovely, and it allowed you socialise with the other guest there. Would definitely recommend visiting the whiskey distillery beside the castle. The fry for breakfast is a must.
Very nice place to stay for a weekend. The rooms are large and tidy. If you need to cook the kitchen is very big and well equipped. Will definitely come back
This place is great! We only wish could have stayed longer, already planning our next visit. Carina and Lucca and all the other Rock Farmers we met were really helpful and chill and just our kind of people. The cabin is gorgeous and so warm and cosy on a wet rainy Autumn night. Gorgeous hot shower next door (and really clean). The views were beautiful! There is local produce for sale in the reception, we bought some delicious rock farm eggs, straight from the coop. Clearly very happy hens popping those out. We've already recommended this place to our friends and can't wait to come back for a l...more
it was very pleasant and facilities were excellent staff did everything that was needed also it was very comfortable
It's hard to describe how perfect rock farm is.A hidden gem is an understatement.our kids absolutely loved it and our guests are still in awe .thanks so much
We stayed one night in a bell tent, 2 adults 3 kids (3,2 & 8 months ) . Staff were excellent, good facilities. Tent was comfortable but could have done with a hoover out. Kitchen and bathrooms could do with a bit of a clean also. I would suggest a toilet closer to the tent area especially for night time trips to the loo. Really enjoyed our stay.
A beautiful farm with lovely healthy animals , stayed in le Tipi which was very nice apart from the flies flying around the inside,The only complaint i had was the foul smelly fridge in the kitchen that needs to be cleaned so badly and tea towels need to be provided clean every day to order to dry dishes in a hygienic way, and kitchen floor washed.
