What can I say.. Absolutely beautiful, both the location and the cottage! The owners has thought of absolutely everything! Spotlessly clean, can not fault anything, you can make your visit as relaxing or busy as you like, Lower Mill Estate is tranquil.. Perfect to unwind, everyone is so respectful of the precious nature and surroundings and of one another! Already booked return visit for 2024(while in the car travelling home!) We loved it, my family had a job dragging me away when it was time to go! Couldn't recommend highly enough
A short Monday to Friday break with husband, daughter and her new 3 month old baby. Park and lodge were ideal. Lovely comfortable lodge, lots to do in surrounding area and eating facilities around were excellent. Will come back!

Great house situated in a fantastic location, giving you lake views and the ability to explore the countryside as well as a number of cute Cotswolds villages. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway with friends and family.
We booked a last minute stay as we love the area and have used Orion before. The property was beautiful looking across the lake. Very pet and child friendly with everything we needed. Great to have parking right outside the property aswell. The property is maintained and decorated to a really high standard and was spotlessly clean. Added bonus being able to use the spa and swimming pool. Thank you again for a great stay

88 Howells Mere is a lovely apartment, with plenty of space and a beautiful deck overlooking the lake. The location is spot on, just a short walk up to Balihoo and the Spa. It has everything you need, with comfy beds and a spacious lounge to relax in. Highly recommended!
Waterlow Lodge was the perfect choice for our family celebration. The house is gorgeous in a stunning and tranquil setting on the lake. It was really comfortable, with cosy bedrooms and amazing views! The kitchen was a great place to gather and had everything you could possibly need. Our grandson appreciated the toys cupboard and the hot tub was a big hit with all! Orion Holidays managed everything very smoothly from start to finish, and I found them friendly and responsive. We certainly hope to return before too long!

Our recent family getaway at Meadowlark was an absolute gem. This picturesque retreat exceeded our expectations in every way. The lakehouse itself was not only beautifully designed,, but also in pristine condition and incredibly well-equipped - offering absolutely everything a family could possibly need. It was great to have someone on call 24/7 if we needed anything. What truly stood out, though, was the serene and peaceful setting. It was so lovely to wake up to the lake view! Another fabulous stay at Water’s Edge! A fabulous location that is quiet and scenic. We loved the new arrangement of furniture- much cosier and easier to chat around the new fire. The new lighting on the deck is much better and safer too. The lodge is really well equipped with everything you could need- having towels and robes is really helpful. The fact that the beds can all be made into twins or doubles makes it more flexible and one of the reasons we choose to stay here. The team at Orion are always very helpful and communication is good.
Lodge is very well equipped. Views over the lake and the bird life are a joy to observe. The grounds are immaculately maintained and I have enjoyed lovely walks. Isis Lake is well situated for trips to Bath, Cheltenham, Oxford and of course the whole of the Cotswolds. Close by there is a very good selection of pubs and eateries. The Crown at Cerney Wick is excellent.
A fabulous secure location with wonderful properties. Holidaying here caters for all from total chill out to hectic activity all wrapped up in nature.
This is a lovely house with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was really clean and well stocked. The views across the lake are gorgeous and there were good paths around the site. We had our own canoe and launched in the next door lake, we used the back gate to go to South Cerney coop every morning (20 min walk) there are also pubs in the village and a pharmacy. We used the table tennis table, pool tables and tennis courts - there was a nice looking playground for younger visitors. Only negative is there is no bar, cafe or shop on site. Everything was as expected, within walking distance of village with nice pubs, close to all the activities. Would highly recommend the Waterside Kitchen and Bar, excellent food.
Our 2nd stay at this very comfortable lodge There were a couple of maintenance issues to which Orion responded very quickly.wirh temporary fixes.
We had a lovely time here, used it as a base for bike rides up to Cirencester, down to Cricklade along the Old Railway path and along the Thames Path with two children. Very convenient location and nice lodge to stay in.
We had a great family stay for a long weekend, with 3 families spread across 2 properties. The setting is fantastic, with lovely grounds to walk around, pretty lakes and the ability to kayak/paddleboard in one lake. The kids had a brilliant time and spent hours in the play area, which was less than 100m from the house. Would definitely stay again
The house was in a good location overlooking the lake. It was also well located for being able to get out and about exploring the area. London is only just over an hour away by train from Kemble train station and parking at the station was vey good. Our dog enjoyed the walks around Windrush and Isis lakes. The customer service was very good and and issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently. Hope to return.
The lodge that we stayed in was beautiful. The rooms were spacious and the living area was huge. The kitchen had all utensils and amenities. The location is superb, and looks straight out over the lake. The only negatives really were that the TV didn't work, so we had to ping our YouTube etc from our phones to the TV, and the outdoor BBQ was a little slow to cook but it cooked everything through which is the main thing. Overall, the lodge is lovely and would definitely return with friends again.
We all had a lovely stay for a family birthday celebration. The house was ideally located, clean and a good size. The check in process was straightforward and the bottle of wine on arrival was a lovely touch. We were nicely surprised by how much was provided in the house too.

We booked this break over a year ago because we were off to Cheltenham Races. We couldn’t afford the prices in Cheltenham and found this Beautiful gem of place .. set in peaceful surroundings with a view of the lake . We had a few hiccups re accommodation but nothing that the Orion team couldn’t sort out. We found them to be super efficient and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them . The house we stayed in was modern, well equipped, the only gripe we had is that the 3rd bedroom was a pull out bed which turned into a double .. so not really a mattress on the bed .. when you are a gr...more

I cannot fault the accommodation apart from a few key issues which were reported. The bedrooms were amazing and the view was very impressive. We didn’t use the balcony because of the weather but I bet it would be great in the summer. The kitchen had everything we needed apart from a decent bottle opener. (It may have been hidden away somewhere) The location was great although there was no real access to the lakes. You could go for walks around the site admiring every bodies bedrooms but you couldn’t actually walk round a lake. It was like walking through a village rather than the country s...more
Excellent family house but the best thing is the view and the stillness that comes with it. It is well equipped, very comfortable and close to spa and swimming pool. Stairs not easy for those with mobility issues though.
Had a lovely stay at Waters Edge, great location, everything close by. Enjoyed being able to walk to other lakes for kayaking and great meals at The Lakeside Brasserie and The Gateway. Accommodation was outstanding just wish we had better weather! However it didn't stop us using the jacuzzi in the rain, just had to wear a hat !! Would love to return.
Large comfortable lodge in well kept surroundings with plenty of amenities. Loved the tennis courts adjacent and lakes with friendly ducks and swans. Nice walk to cafes and restaurants and easy access to Cirencester, Swindon etc Let down by lack of on-tap hot water(tank-fed) and small finishing touches required.
My family and I stayed at Casa Angela and we had such an amazing time. The property is very well stocked and have thought of everything. The views are beautiful and the surrounding areas are kept very tidy and clean.
We had a lovely 3 night stay in this home. The beds were very comfortable and sheets were beautifully soft. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms and the kitchen had every utensil you could need. Love the location, have been before and will go again!
We stayed at the property last year with another family and we all enjoyed the break so much that we have just visited again! Loved all the facilities on site, including the spa, gym, inside and outside swimming pools and tennis courts. Would definately return.
Great house for family gathering. Ideal layout with living space on middle floor. Lake- front patio with lovely large hot tub. Well supplied with crockery, pans etc.
Booked the property for a family Christmas and whilst some aspects were a little tired the property did not disappoint. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable and the hot tub proved to be a big hit, especially on Christmas day. We all agreed we would definitely return!
Great house in a great location. We really enjoyed our first time at the water park. Booking process was straightforward and the Orion team was very friendly and flexible We would like to come back and explore other areas of the park
Overall, we had a lovely Easter Break. The lake view was very relaxing and location was good as we drove to visit Cotswolds villages. There are plenty of parking within the area so would recommend to big family/group. The property is well maintained and staffs are very accommodating and tennis court are extra bonus. However, we were not able to book for kayaks and fishing so will definitely do it in advance in our next stay.

We were a family of 5 adults staying over the New Year. The house was in a lovely location on a large lake that I can imagine in summer is amazing - the weather wasn't too kind to us!!! We had everything we could possible need but would say the seating is the lounge area is definitely only comfy for 4 adults. We realised this when booking and took a fold away camping chair for the fifth person. The kitchen was probably the best equipped self catering accommodation I have ever stayed in and as we cooked most nights this was great. Nice location within Cotswolds Water Park. Property was small but doable. View of the lake from the deck was great. We had a great time.
We had a really wonderful stay. We were two families and were a bit worried that it was going to feel small for us but it was actually a really good size. The terrace is amazing and we’d love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy it. We found lots of lovely things to do nearby and it was great not having to take the car everywhere.
Had a wonderful stay at Mill Village 70, Horse Shoe. The view was the best thing, changing all the time with beautiful an sunrises and sunsets and lots of different birdlife to watch. The cottage was warm and comfortable despite the weather doing its winter worst for much of the time. Well equipped kitchen, fast Wifi, comfortable bed. Everything I needed to make my stay a complete pleasure.
