Millstream Cottage is set in 550 acres of private & beautiful Nature Reserve. It has excellent on-site facilities, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, water sports, bike hire, tennis, fishing, restaurant, bar & pizza shack. No spa access.

Sleeping 6 with 3 bedrooms, it has 2x doubles (1 with ensuite), 1x twin room, family bathroom and downstairs WC. This cottage offers a well-equipped kitchen, separate open plan living/dining area & deck overlooking the Mill Race. Gas BBQ & Pets welcome.

Lower Mill Estate - On-site Facilities & Activities:

• 550 acres of private Nature Reserve, including seven Lakes & three Rivers
• Excellent Water Sports - Paddle boarding, kayak, canoe & rowing boats
• Somerford Lagoon can only be used for non-powered water sports between the 1st of April and the 30th of September
• In order to minimise disturbance to overwintering wildfowl, the footpaths to the Southern and Eastern edge of Somerford Lagoon are not accessible from the 1st of October to the 31st of March
• Spinney Lake is available for non-powered water sports all year.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mill Village. The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed. The outside areas are very well maintained and it is a lovely setting, close to the lake.

We were pleasantly surprised by our accommodation being on a large complex. We had a house to sleep 6. 2 double en suite bedrooms and a smaller room with 2 single beds more suited to children. A fully equipped kitchen with washer dryer and a d/washer &fridge/freezer. The lounge and dining area were comfortable. All in all an ideal spot to either use the amenities on site or to use as a base to explore the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay with family... accommodation was clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed.
Outdoor pool was great hit with grandson, warm and clean. The lakes and surrounding walks superb.

Lovely break, property was good with enough to please two young children. We had a great time but I do feel it was expensive for just a two night stay outside of school holidays. It suited us because of proximity to our home and the outdoor pool but I think it was expensive for just two nights

We had a lovely weekend break at Millstream Cottage within Cotswold Water Park at the end of May. The property was ideal with a five year old and seven week old baby amongst our party. It was clean with all we needed inside. Our grandson particularly loved all the board games and puzzles! There is a lovely decked area overlooking the stream. Facilities are great with an outdoor pool, play areas and tennis courts as well as plenty of long walks. The one small downside is that you cannot park immediately adjacent to the property, we needed to hover outside to unload and needed to move whilst doing this several times to allow other cars to pass. There is only one space per property so we had to park in the overflow car park which was full at times but in the overall scheme of things, this is a very minor frustration. A perfect property for a family, we will definitely return.

Between selling my house and being able to move into my new house I had some eight weeks where I was homeless. I was recommended to talk to Orion about renting a property for this period and they were very helpful. The house I rented was in a very quiet and peaceful part of the lakeside village and more than fulfilled my needs.

The service from Orion was faultless and very supportive.

Lower Mill Estate has a wonderful network of paths and trails around some of the most beautiful lakes in the Cotswolds. Having now stayed here for nearly two months between sellling and buying a new property I know most of the area really well. It is wonderful to see many different species of birds and water fowl and to know about the beaver project - although sadly I never actually saw a beaver. The Ballyhoo also provided much needed coffee on occasions and was always welcoming.

We had a lovely time but would have been better if the red settee was comfortable and the DVD player had worked
We also didn't realise when we booked that the mill spa is not available for this cottage as the owner has not joined and you could not pay to go.
The tennis courts were great to use but it may have been useful to know that you need to go and book at the court .

A lovely property with a great location.
Quiet area, superb for dog walkers and cycle tracks and for booking water sports. On site canoes and paddle boards, at 4 lakes waterski, we booked 12 wakeboard sessions and Cerney Outdoor for windsurfing and sailing, both fantastic.

Monday to Friday break with family. We found the cottage in an excellent location, there was lots to do (walking, swimming, tennis etc) the whole break was very pleasant and relaxing.

We've just returned from a fabulous week at 59 Millstream Cottage. We really needed a break and were not disappointed. The cottage is not lakeside but is well appointed and just a short stroll from the lakes. The cottage was perfect - open plan living area, complete with log burner and a basket of logs to use. Kitchen is really well equipped and even came with Nespresso machine and pods ready. All you need was available.
There were plenty of walks from the cottage, around the many lakes where fishing, open water swimming, kayaking and paddleboarding were all available.
The Cotswolds water park is lovely and we will most definitely return for more.

Cotswold water park is charming, pastoral and very pleasant. There are tennis courts, a lovely little pool, table tennis and a sauna. The cottage was also very pleasant, clean and equipped with everything that was needed. We had a great time and it was a pity we did not stay any longer.

£800 for 4 nights was expecting 5 star it was not the case cottage needed a make over

speed limit on site was never adhered too by anyone disappointing

Booked last minute we were very happy with the standard and comfort. We only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms so both ourselves and our daughter had ensuite bathrooms! The kitchen is small but has everything you need. Only downside for us was that the decking didn't get much sun - we like to sit out in an evening and the decking was in shade but might be good for those who prefer to be cooler.

This was our first time to the Cotswolds Water Park area and we would definitely recommend this as a holiday location to anyone. The cottage was nice and roomy and had everything we needed. There were some bikes available to use and tennis and table tennis equipment for use on the complex. The cottage was really well laid out and we loved getting the fire going in the evening. The swimming pool and sauna were only a short walk away and were never too busy when we went along. We hired the paddleboards and spent some time looking for beavers in the second lake which the kids really enjoyed.

The gas BBQ was put into full use and we made the most of eating outside when the weather was good. I'd recommend this cottage to anyone wanted a break in the UK.
