Wonderful stay at Milly Cottage, Orion were great with the information provided before and after our stay. Would definitely recommend.
Normally go on a cruise each year with the children (17,12) but this year decided to stay in the UK. The cottage was magnificent, has everything you could possible need it a beautiful perfect location. We went the week of the heatwave so made the most of the activities all the lakes have to offer. Will definitely be back
We’ve just stayed at the Cotswolds Isis Lake resort and had a fantastic experience. Our three‑bedroom house overlooked one of the beautiful Isis lakes, and it was spotless, well maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The patio was perfect for enjoying breakfast while watching the sunrise, and the location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the lakes where the water activities take place, plus nearby restaurants, bars, and lovely walking routes. South Cerney is close by too, which made exploring the area really easy. It’s an ideal spot for fam...more
Great cottage and facilities, had a lovely stay, nice and clean and had everything we needed, parking was a little tight
The location was superb and the house was more than we hoped for. The cleanliness was great and the house had everything we could want and more. We did try and thing of something that was not there and we couldn't, loved the fact that they even had a slow cooker. The hot tub was a lovely thing to have and the fact that extra robes were provided for this was fab. Lovely outside seating - even a cloth was provided for wiping down. It was also nice that DVD's, games and books were there to use. Orion were excellent, friendly staff and regular communication. The site was very secure and made us...more
First impression was the property looked a little tired to the photos on the web. The facilities were very good and it was clean and tidy. Being OAPs we found the stairs a little steep and only one hand rail where we are used to a rail both sides. So the stairs became a danger area for us. The other concern was in the bathroom. No rails to put your wet towels. So we hung them over the raidiators ? Had a good time though.
An absolutely beautiful, well equipped and well maintained property located on the edge of the lake. The views are amazing, as are the facilities on site including the spa and swimming pools. The accommodation was spotless with all that was needed for a delightful and relaxing stay. We think we have found our happy place!
Amazing house, kitchen very well equipped and decorated. The bedrooms were perfect mostly with their own bathrooms. Hot tub an added bonus
I stayed at Summit Lodge for a long weekend with family of friends. There were 7 of us in total (4 adults and 3 children) and a small dog. The lodge was lovely with plenty of space for 7 of us. Kitchen facilities were good, bedrooms were spacious and the outside area was really nice including a hot tub and great view of the lake. There was a play park a short walk away which was enjoyed by the children and lots to do in the local area. Orion Holiday were very easy to get hold of if we needed anything. The only negative I would say is that the bedrooms were very warm on the first night due t...more
A great 4 nights away. Lower Mill has everything you want! The property we rented was in Mill Village - a great location for all amenities.
We had a lovely time here in the summer as a family. The site has excellent facilities. Annoying to have to pre-book swimming but otherwise fab
Cannot fault this stay. Had a wonderful week in an excellent home which had all the essentials. Really appreciated multiple towels and especially robes for the hot tub. Hot tube was out of use for the first three days due to filtering issues but this was swiftly dealt with. We appreciate the responsiveness. Minor feedback- We notes that the outdoor furniture was covered in cob webs and whilst we appreciate a closeness to nature and not disturbing it, having to dust and clean is not ideal when you arrive on holiday and wish to you the furniture straight away. These are minor inconvenience...more
Two houses were taken to cope with 13 family members for a 50th wedding anniversary. Both houses were as described and were just right for our stay
We had an amazing week at Spring Lake, the house has everything you could possibly need , There are lovely restaurants in walking distance and of course you can enjoy any water sport that you prefer. We will definitely be back .
A birthday trip to enjoy water-skiing, wake-boarding, rifle shooting and a lovely meal with family. Stunning location, fabulous facilities and a whole bunch of wonderful memories.
We had booked two lodges and stayed with friends, everything was perfect and we all had an amazing weekend
Once again a fabulous holiday at Windrush lake. So good we have booked next year already. This was our sixth time staying with Orion they are a superb company to deal with very professional
Beautiful house with lots of space and well equipped. View was lovely and outdoor areas both front and back allowed us to take full advantage of the weather. Looking forward to returning
Lovely property, nice location and great hot tub! We’ll be back in the future ……………………………………………………..
Great location with a fantastic view over the lake. Very impressed with the property its self, very well looked after and clean! I am sure we will all be back as a family again.
The lodge had everything and even more than what we expected. We felt welcomed although we didn't see any of the staff, but I can't fault anything. We will definitely book again. The view, the activities provided, the quiet, were amazing. Thank you Orion Holidays.
The charming lodge lakeside property was located overlooking Isis lake across an open grassed area. Ground floor faced south west looking through full glass windows with double French doors straight across lake. Lodge was well laid out with fully set up kitchen. Plenty of room for the 2 of us. We enjoyed walking the several lakes within the fully fenced / gated community and using the rear locked gate to walk into South Cerney for corner shops, chippy, coffee shop and several good pubs. Will certainly be visiting again.
The property was excellent, it had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location beside the lake. It was great having a secure decking area for our dog and plenty of grounds to walk around. We used the tennis courts several times and used our SUPs and kayak on Windrush lake which was an easy walk from the property with our kit. The property had everything we needed for cooking and all rooms were clean and comfortable. A great property overall.
Lovely cottage in a very scenic location. Plenty of room for our family group of 5 (including a 5 year old) and the bonus of a good sized garden. The kitchen was very well equipped and useful to have the option of an air fryer. The bedrooms were very comfortable with the 2 doubles having ensuite shower rooms and small balconies. Small niggles in that the rainfall shower heads in both ensuites didn't function and the headboard in one of the single rooms was broken. Neither of these issues affected the enjoyment of our stay.
We recently stayed at Isis lake 84 , for 9 night with the family .. we had a fabulous stay the lodge was ideal for the 7 of us . The bedrooms very clean and a perfect size . Downstairs bedroom had an en-suite , there are 3 bedrooms upstairs we one family bathroom and the master bedroom had another en-suite .. The lodge is based on a very quiet park of the complex so it’s very peaceful , it’s a 5 walk up to play park and very close to the lakes where there are plenty of water sports . As well as staying local we travelled round the Cotswolds Cirencester lido is only 25mins away , Oxfor...more
A lovely stay .. a really nice property with a view over the lake . It was comfortable, warm and in a great location .
Wonderful accommodation equipped with all the comforts we could wish for. Large and bright spaces, quality furniture, comfortable beds and an enchanting veranda overlooking the lake. We will definitely be back!
A perfect getaway. Lovely well presented house in a beautiful setting with all the amenities on the doorstep. We had a wonderful week and will be back
Lovely lakeside home on Spring lake. Very well equipped and had every mod con you could wish for. The master bedroom was excellent with a lovely view of the lake and watersports on it. Bedrooms 2 & 3 a little less spacious storage wise. We ould certainly consider a return visit and have recommended to friends. Communication from Orion was excellent from start to finish.
A beautiful location over looking a lake, well equipped and plenty of space for eight of us. We spent our time on the decking barbecue, paddle boarding which we hired for the day. My only cry was the beds are too hard very uncomfortable to sleep in but otherwise we had an amazing stay
Nice house , very clean and immaculate. Lots to do for children and ideal for two small families . Orion holidays did us proud !
Our group of friends had the best time here! Big communal spaces, BBQ, incredible hot tub with views across the lake and the perfect location for getting to other activities. We'll be staying again.
We had a great family stay for a long weekend, with 3 families spread across 2 properties. The setting is fantastic, with lovely grounds to walk around, pretty lakes and the ability to kayak/paddleboard in one lake. The kids had a brilliant time and spent hours in the play area, which was less than 100m from the house. Would definitely stay again
This year marked our 10th year visiting the area for our family holiday and given my boys love to fish and I enjoy visiting the many lovely villages in the surrounding area, Isis and Windrush Lakes was the perfect location. I was able to relax with my book while the boys (aged 19 and 15) kept themselves busy fishing. We were nearby for water activities if they were feeling energetic and so it was easy to break up the week with visits to the nearby watersport facilities. The only thing I would like to do next time is to know how to hire a paddleboard or boat for the Windrush Lake as we can...more
Had a splendid short break at this property during the start of the summer holidays. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Some lovely touches, included by the housekeepers, with leaving tennis racquets, table tennis bats and a cricket bat and ball for our stay. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade, but that is being picky, the bedrooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Some excellent eateries close by to the property. If you like paddle boarding & fishing its definitely the place for you! Would definitely come again.
The property was lovely, well equipped, very clean, and wow such a stunning view over the lake not overlooked. We had an amazing time, visiting Lower Mill Estate for the first time, and will certainly be returning, can’t wait to go back! The onsite facilities are great, and we had a lovely meal in the Balihoo restaurant. The only things that I would recommend changing in the property is in the front bedroom, putting two single beds instead to cater for kids, especially as those that don’t want to share a bed. In the top bedroom replacing the bed for a king size, with a quality mattress.
We loved our stay here. We were two family’s visiting with two dogs and there was plenty of space for us all. The house was comfortable and clean and very well equipped. We loved sitting out on the decking with the view of the lake. The grounds were immaculately kept and the kids loved the games room and playground. There was so much to do in the area. We loved paddle boarding and aquaventure. We would definitely recommend staying here.
This was our 5th visit to the Cotswold Lakes and our fourth to Windrush/Isis. We love fronting on to Windrush where we can keep an eye on our 12 year old grandsons while they paddle away on their paddle boards. No 65 has a very suny aspect and catches the sun until the evening, which is great for lounging about on the patio overlooking the lake. We all love the hot tub as well. There is also lots to do locally. We always go to the beach one day. The boys go waterskiing and we enjoy the Cotswold sculpture park and all the lovely restaurants.

Lots of cobwebs inside under worktop. Had an issue with WIFI my husband lost half a days work. Also hot tub had dirt in it. Reported this on the Sunday, no one came until the Wednesday so couldn’t use it. He added more chemicals which burnt our eyes and irritated of skin.
We stayed here for a birthday celebration, fantastic home and facilities everything we needed. Wonderful spot - excellent service from Orion holidays form booking to check out. Fantastic communication and fantastic time away - we will be back. Thank you
Apartment was lovely, but felt it was a bit tired. Doors to decking from the bedroom were swollen at the bottom which made them difficult to shut. Drain smell in the shower. Info description stated there was a club house. Pub and restaurant, did not realise it was Ballyhoo all in one.
We had previously stayed in the house next door, plus twice more in a different house. So we’re obviously fans of the estate and facilities. 47 was perfect for us, 4 Adults and 2 x 6 year olds. Plenty of space, especially important to have enough bathrooms, as we were two families sharing. Lots of kitchen equipment, big table, comfy sofa. Lots of fun things including the pumpkin trail, swimming, soft play, playground for the kids. Highly recommend, we will definitely return again
This is our second year at 82,Clearwater and it didn’t disappoint - we come to the same accommodation because it has everything we need. The beds are comfortable and the location is excellent. Orion are always so easy to deal with and are responsive to our requests Thank you for another great holiday
This is our 2nd stay at the Cotswold Water Park, very dog friendly and plenty of scope to keep yourself active. Our week was very quiet at the park which I didn't expect involving a Bank Holiday but turned out to be a bonus at Restaurants, Cafe and Activities around the park with no waiting or bookings. Weather was brilliant so we got out every day. Highly recommend a stay as the surroundings of the lodge in the grounds, is a calm and peaceful atmosphere just what's needed for a short break away. Fun when you want it, tranquil at your accommodation.
We booked Spring Lake 43, Jesse-Belle for 3 days over Easter weekend. The property was presented to a high standard and had everything we needed - including the comfiest pillows ever! The view over the lake was absolutely stunning - a real highlight. Within the property there was plenty of space for 6 adult's and we never felt cramped. The location itself was fab. The onsite restaurant was only a stones throw away, but it was also only a short walk from a lovely cafe/walking route which was great! Tesco was 11 minutes away which was perfect for getting those essentials. We drove into Cirencest...more
Excellent accommodation for our family stay. We hrld a party night in venue 80/81 which accommodated everyone. It was a great evening.
We had no idea the Cotswold Lakes existed until recently and we're so glad to have found them and this lovely property! We're a family of 3, plus our lovely dog, and this spot was ideal for a week away to relax together in the summer. The view from the house is a stunner, overlooking the lagoon with wildlife, stunning sunsets and unbeatable access to the water. Spent so much time relaxing with a book and admiring the view. The house itself is very well appointed and comfortable. Ideal for adults, children and pets alike. It had everything we needed. Also loved the welcome kit for our d...more
Lovely area, spacious accommodation, great facilities such as the pools. The very hot weather was a challenging issue, (which of course cannot be controlled) Airconditioning would be a useful addition. The Hot tub we felt didn’t have clean water in it ( we have one at home and it did smell somewhat and the water was frothy) Therefore We only used it once which was disappointing). The outdoor area wasn’t particularly clean and the decking could do with some maintenance.
We stayed at the landings with our family including new baby granddaughter to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had the best time. The accommodation was lovely the paint is a little bit tired and scruffy in places but it didn’t detract from the spacious comfortable house. Bedrooms were lovely my only niggle is the mattresses weren’t comfy they were a bit lumpy but the bedding etc was very nice. We used the lakeside brasserie for food and drinks cocktails are particularly nice there. My husband and son in law gave the water skiing a go which they enjoyed. We visited diddly squat farm...more
We had a lovely family break. Lovely peaceful location. Our house was lovely, in both bathrooms there was hairs on the floor and spiders in every room and up the stairs. Kitchen facilities were great. Lovely for a mini break, did feel around the grounds could have been better sign posted so get around and also thought it was limited with just one place to eat or drink.
Overall, we had a lovely Easter Break. The lake view was very relaxing and location was good as we drove to visit Cotswolds villages. There are plenty of parking within the area so would recommend to big family/group. The property is well maintained and staffs are very accommodating and tennis court are extra bonus. However, we were not able to book for kayaks and fishing so will definitely do it in advance in our next stay.
It was the best place to be during a British heatwave. The 3 generation family thoroughly enjoyed their holiday week, with paddle boarding & swimming pool dipping every day. The leafy walks and cycle tracks were great & enabled us all to enjoy exercise at our own pace. The cottage was pleasingly clean & the kitchen very well equipped ( although a non-stick milk pan would have been useful). As a family we plan to return to Cotswold Water Park in 2027.
We had a lovely stay at the lodge on Spring Lake in the Cotswolds. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, letting us check in early and leave late — which we really appreciated. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. Had a good meal at the onset bar and also walked to village and would recommend the pubs
Wonderful place to have 2 families or family and grandparents to stay. This cottage is one of very few detached properties with a beautiful veranda overlooking the lakes and its own jetty to launch kayaks, paddles boards or go for a swim. The facilities and feel of the lower mill estate is very exclusive and creates a peaceful atmosphere but with lots of things to keep the children and teenagers entertained both on site and close by.
A beautiful, spacious , well equipped lodge in a lovely, tranquil location with stunning view of the lake. We all enjoyed watching the swans and moorhens nurturing their young , only a few meters away. Hired paddle boards and had a great time All enjoyed our time there ( including the dog).
Amazing facilities for paddleboarding and swimming. Excellent customer service from booking, arrival and in activity centre.
The property was in need of some TLC. There were no curtains in the main living area, which made it very difficult when it was sunny, there was no way to keep the room cool and you could not watch TV. The flooring by the folding doors is lifting, which could cause an issue soon. The bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable, the mattress sunk below the edge of the bed when you sat on it. There was no first aid box, as described in the book in the accommodation. There appeared to be a lack of instruction manuals, so it was difficult to use the equipment, it was all a bit of guess work...more
