Wonderful weekend away, The house was clean and comfortable, just what you need for a relaxing break. Would recommend.
A fabulous property with a beautiful lake view. There was everything one could possibly need in the property. It made for a very relaxing stay. Kitchen etc all fully equipped, beds comfortable and everywhere spotlessly clean. Orion holidays customer service is second to jone. We had a couple of situations with a misplaced purse and a lost ring and they could not have been more helpful with both their communications and help searching for the ring (after we’d left) I would highly recommend both Orion holidays and our property 88, Howells mere.
We had a very relaxing time, the accommodation was excellent, we were welcomed on arrival. All amenities in good working order. Having dressing gowns for each person was a lovely addition.
Great stay couldn’t ask for anything more. Would recommend to friends and would come again. Thank you
Fantastic location with good transport links. Great property - spacious; well equipped kitchen and good outside space. Clean.
Every member of the family loved it . From the youngest who enjoyed the play parks and Bumble van to the rest of the family who spent all day doing various water sports on the lake , bike rides round the lake ,swimming in the pools or fishing , it was a brilliant holiday .
We had a really lovely holiday and are left with many happy memories. The property and the location are excellent. The house comes equipped with everything you might need, there are even games in the cupboard. The staff at Orion are very efficient and reply quickly to any queries you might have. I would definitely recommend this property to others.
A lovely week by the lakeside at 55/56 Windrush. The property was a great size for the 8 of us and very well equipped. The pool table was a big hit with all ages. We had lots of kayaking fun and enjoyed all the facilities nearby (tennis, table tennis, playground, boules and badminton).
A lovely property right on the edge of the lake. With its own access for ease of kayaking or paddle boarding. The property was very comfortable and easily catering for a family of four + dog. Kitchen requires updating along with all kitchen utensils etc. Would recommend.
We spent the last week of the summer holidays at Summer Lake. Check in was efficient, the house very clean and information provided about the property and surrounding area comprehensive. Meadowlake is a spacious comfortable property, but the best feature is the west facing terrace overlooking the lake - many hours spent stand up paddle boarding and enjoying al fresco dining. The tennis court seems to be virtually always available and we joined a gym at spring lake - where we also enjoyed great evening meals and wake boarding. The neighbours who own the adjacent properties are really friendly ...more
Beautiful, spotless and well equipped. The position was wonderful, with amazing sunsets and water views. We will definitely book again. The whole development was beautiful and well kept. Perfect.
Great location, lovely accommodation everything you needed was at hand. Catered for all ages including the fisherman amongst us
A lovely, well equipped holiday house. We booked this and another house opposite for a family get together spanning three generations. This was the ideal location as there was something for everyone, we had space to relax together and was a lovely view over the lake. The customer service was very friendly and the checking in system worked very well.
#31 - great place - very clean inside - balcony and outside area just off the pace . Interior furniture ok but lounge furniture a bit random - excellent location - very enjoyable - kitchen has everything - bedroom accom first class . Take a stair gate if u have little ones ! .? Orion exceptional ! Parking for one car adjacent - car park 2 mins walk ! Overall really good
Super location on Isis Lake with quick access to tennis courts etc. House was ideal for a holiday and immaculately clean. Lovely friendly holiday complex and the customer service at Orion was exemplary.
Exquisite place, very New England, lovely lake view and fountain. Needs decorating though, understandable due to C-19, and the private ownership model. Good equipment, excellent Wi-Fi. The rest of our family stayed on Lower Mill Estate (our booking there was cancelled) and we found it odd that both places had so little on-site catering, shopping etc. Lower Mill has more (ie it has some) but still not much for the number of properties. We preferred this to Lower Mill though
5 friends in need of escape and relaxation after homeschooling, lockdown last and limited fun. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were properly on holiday. We had so much luck with the weather - 28 degrees plus all weekend- so that from coffee on the balcony looking over the lake, through to drinks and hot tubs in the afternoon, we had a superb weekend. We tried paddle boarding and loved it, swam in the lakes, walked down the beginnings of the river Thames and just r e l a x e d.‘I asked for a later check out on the Sunday so we could have a leisurely brunch abd this was all organise...more
Lovely house in a beautiful location. Hot tub and pool table a bonus. Difficult to access lake because pontoon was fenced off. Out door furniture could do with replacing as it was slightly broken. Overall a great stay.
We had a great family stay for a long weekend, with 3 families spread across 2 properties. The setting is fantastic, with lovely grounds to walk around, pretty lakes and the ability to kayak/paddleboard in one lake. The kids had a brilliant time and spent hours in the play area, which was less than 100m from the house. Would definitely stay again
We booked this property as a last minute decision to have a short break with the family to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. We couldn’t have wished for anything better. The location of the property, the facilities, the view from the decking, the friendly and professional approach during the booking - all were absolutely excellent. We would certainly return and definitely recommend.
We had a very good stay at Spring Lake 51. Especially the lounge area on the patio was a big hit with the nice weather we experienced. The house is well equipped with fast Wifi, large smart TV and even a PlayStation Pro. Very popular when travelling with two teens. Nice kitchen with all you need for self catering. The fridge space is somewhat limited. The location is great and a very good base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds. Driving to Stonehenge took less than 1,5 hours. The activities on the lake runs from 8-9 AM to roughly 8 PM and does create some noise. We knew this before arrivi...more
Excellent house and great position for our birthday party get together. We also had an additional house as we had a large party and they were very close together.
Great stay had by the 5 of us at Isis Lakes. House was well equipped with everything you could want and location is great, right in the heart of the Cotswolds Water Park. We would all highly recommend a stay here. Lovely views and relaxing holiday. We didn’t want to leave.
It is good value for money if you have 8 of you, works out very reasonable,Location is stunning & quiet, would be better with a shower cubicle upstairs not just in the en-suites not suitable really for older people
The house and location are perfect for a group of ladies in the "over 60 age group". We enjoyed relaxing and using the Walks' leaflet for a 4 mile walk from the house and a 9 mile walk from South Cerney. Our meal at the Lakeside Brasserie restaurant on Spring Lake was very good, a bonus being that it is only a few minutes walk from the house, so that no-one need drive. We used the discount card provided to obtain 10% off the price of our meal. The bedrooms, bathrooms and open living area suit all ages and give everyone plenty of space. Sitting on the deck with an uninterrupted view of the lak...more
Perfect location, perfect accommodation, perfect stay! Absolutely loved it and highly recommend. So clean, brilliant parking, lovely local restaurant.
Highly recommend a start in the Cotswold Waterpark with Orion Holidays. The team from Orion and Also the Lower Mill estate have all been so welcoming, helpful and flexible through all the Covid challenges. The house itself has a wow factor that is clear from the website. It's huge - easily accommodated 10 of us. You can go canoeing straight from the door on the lake and that joins to other waterways. It's so lovely. The lower Mill estate is nice as well. Sort of felt like a low key Center Parcs with all sorts of activities available but none of the "managed fun" chaotic feel you get fr...more
Lovely clean spacious house, 6 adults and baby stayed for a week. House was well equipped with everything you could want. Enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools during our visit. Very relaxing peaceful holiday, lovely views.
Really great place to stay, only criticism would be the lack of storage and wardrobe space in the master bedroom. Would also have been useful for it to say somewhere where to put the bins/ rubbish as we could not find, or have a main bin closer to the property as the main bins were quite far away. Otherwise clean, spacious rooms. Well equipped property with nice decoration.
Wonderful location Peaceful surroundings One bit of advice to all visitors - Book activities early.
Great stay had by the 5 of us in this wonderfully presented apartment. The location is great, right in the heart of the Cotswolds Water Park. We would all highly recommend a stay here
We really enjoyed our stay at Clearwater 28 and were particularly lucky with the weather. After pointing out a few small problems with the property on arrival we relaxed to enjoy the views and accommodation. When we arrived the property was open and cleaning still being finished. It's in a excellent position with views across the lake and has everything you need for a great holiday. All the local facilities are within walking distance. Older people staying should note that the toilets and bedrooms are all on the ground floor while living accommodation and kitchen are on the 1st floor.
The place was gorgeous everything you needed was at hand. An improved cleaning/decorating I think is required.
We had a very enjoyable one week stay in August. The estate was close to capacity, but Little Acorns was a peaceful retreat with stunning views. We received good communication from the agents (Orion Holidays) about booking swimming slots and other facilities early and therefore secured our chosen times. We also made good use of the on-site restaurant, play area and lovely walks. Our only gripe was the standard of cleaning. Whilst the bathroom and kitchen surfaces were spotless, the same could not be said for the rest of the cottage. The stairs had not been hoovered, furniture surfaces were ...more
We loved our stay here Beautiful scenery and clean and tidy So close to anything you need and all local pubs brilliant and only 10 min away at most Will be booking for next year
A perfect location for a long weekend. Ideal for using the lake for paddle boarding and a great layout of the house.
Again what an amazing lodge. We have been to Isis Lakes around 10 times now and it never fails. Great location, amazing lodges, lots of chilling. We will definately be returning again in teh near future. 5 stars all round.
Had everything we needed and wanted. Very relaxing and lots to keep kids entertained. Beautiful surroundings.
Fantastic setting with a great balcony. Nice views over the lake. Modern and brut lounge area and kitchen has everything you need. Good fridge abd freezer space and washer/ dryer. Master bedrooms very comfy - 3rd and 4th bedrooms small but comfortable. Fans were provided in hot weather. It’s a few years old and could do with a little TLC but would recommend.
We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the lodge was, how comfortable it was and how nicely decorated and furnished. We were blessed with lovely weather and the fishing was good. Personally, I was happy to sit outside and enjoy the view of the lake! Very peaceful location.
Relaxing part of the water park away from noisy water sports but with canoeing possible. Wonderful wildlife to observe from the terrace.
We had a fabulous week staying at The Landings. We were a group of 10; 2 families of 3 and 2 couples. Beautiful scenery in an amazing house made for a relaxing week away. The house is in a perfect location for many of the near by lakes and also just a short walk from the village and the pubs. When we weren't out exploring we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking on the lake, which we hired from Kev, who was a brilliant host. We all enjoyed spending time in the hot tub soaking up the views. Looking forward to coming back.
We have stayed here twice now, on both occasions we enjoyed this location and there is so much to do in the area
Accommodation nice. Sun loungers on the deck might be a nice addition for when it's hot. We had our puppy with us and struggled to find an area close by where we could let him off the lead safely... Nice park in Cirencester though.
Thoroughly enjoyed staying in this clean comfortable and well equipped property. Great location and lovely decking overlooking the lake.
The accommodation was lovely and being on the lake front made for a very relaxing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were a party of 3 adults and one baby and to be honest I wouldn’t want any more then that as the downstairs living areas would feel very crowded. I guess if you were out all day it might not be an issue. We made use of the kayak that came with the house and this was a great touch especially as it has its own jetty, making going out on the lake very accessible. My only slight niggle was that the cleanliness wasn’t outstanding. There were a lot of cobwebs and d...more
We had a lovely relaxing stay at this house it is very well setup and comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. A couple of the beds were a little hard for our taste but that's all subjective. As other reviews have said it is worth being aware this house is one of a small group of about 5 terraced houses, so the decking is next to others but that wasn't much of a problem. The best part of the house for us was the covered balcony off one of the bedrooms where we sat every morning for tea. If you can go during the week do the weekend was very busy. The outside pool was wonderful.
A lovely property with a great location. Quiet area, superb for dog walkers and cycle tracks and for booking water sports. On site canoes and paddle boards, at 4 lakes waterski, we booked 12 wakeboard sessions and Cerney Outdoor for windsurfing and sailing, both fantastic.
We were surprised at the size of the house when we arrived and for the price, the furnishings and equipment were also below standard. It wasn’t very clean with spiders webs in every room, dirty pans and uncomfortable beds. Having stayed at the water park before, we expected a much higher standard and while we had a lovely weekend, it was spoilt a little by the quality of the accommodation.
Lovely property, could not want for any home comfort or necessity for comfortable stay .Very large deck overlooking a lake which was a big feature and made a huge difference to our enjoyment. A hot tub on the deck would be perfect but is probably impossible to to provide. we were not impressed by the onsite cafe/bar/ store which was downmarket and refuses cash. To find anywhere half decent to eat you have to walk at least a mile, which is no problem, but anywhere other than the Bakers Arms, a car is needed and booking is a must. I did feel like prisoner No.6 from the tv series of the 70's ...more
