Beautifully equipped home - in idyllic setting - enhanced by perfect lake weather! Big plus for us was 4 double rooms as 4 couples, many other properties have twins or bunks in 1/2 of the rooms. Fantastic there was also a single in the office so my daughter could join us for one night. Very impressed with how the home was equipped. Have requested a pancake skillet like theirs for Xmas!!! Pool table got used every day, Had 16 guests join us over the 4 days (a few each day) so was biggest brightest birthday celebration ever! Will be very hard to match up to.
5 ladies stayed in No3, wonderful house, great decor, kitchen was brilliantly stocked with plenty of utensils. Rooms comfortable and the house looked just like the photos on the site. The only comments from the group is that the decking could have been swept. This particular house was not overlooked, had a neighbour but the distance between houses is good. It overlooked the lake and had no other houses opposite so a lovely view with a nest and chicks right outside our balcony. Hot tub was great. Might be good to have plastic glasses available for hot tub use as none are provided. We didn't...more
Second stay just as good as our first and we will be back again next year. That's how good Isis is. Simple.
We arranged for our daughters to get together for a weekend after their exams. This was an ideal location to relax and unwind. The property itself was lovely and clean with everything you needed. Lots of outdoor space to walk, play and just sit and relax The kayaking and canoeing was just round the corner. We all had a great time
Had a lovely stay in this cottage in the Cotswold Water Park. The surroundings are beautiful and the cottage is a really lovely, welcoming place to stay. We had a lovely family Christmas there
Excellent beautiful venue, serene tranquillity in stunning Cotswolds. Immaculately kept accommodation with superb facilities, outstanding area and stunning villa views. on tap assistance if required, every mod con needed. the grounds surrounding the properties are impeccable, parking easy, secure, fun, perfect our second visit to this amazing place and we will definitely return in 2020
A wonderfully presented house in a fantastic location. Ideal as a base to go and explore the local and not so local corners of the Cotswolds. Excellent customer service as well ensures a return booking next year.
Orion Holidays Team were onto my request for somewhere to stay at short notice and for a short stay whilst waiting for our house to be finished. Lucky too the house was 'pet friendly' for our labrador dog to be with us. An added bonus was to be able to enjoy the walks with the dog with good poop bins in the vicinity. Deposit was returned quickly - this was appreciated. In spite of it not being an actual holiday for us -I would recommend Orion Holidays to friends and family- how lucky we are to have such a great facility on our doorstep.
A real Christmas tree twinkled in the corner to welcome us. There was plenty of space with comfy sofas, a well equipped kitchen and a lovely hot hot tub with views over the lake. Would recommend for a large group.
We took food, drink and games with us and it was so good, we didn't leave the lodge all weekend. Great place to chill and watch the wildlife swim and fly past or quack at your door.
We had an excellent family birthday get together despite the Coronavirus pandemic. Waterlow lodge is very well equipped and comfortable and in a super spot on the lake.
Great location for visiting the Cotswold and for being centrally situated. The house was well furnished and had everything we needed. Heating was very heat and miss and at times the house was unbearably hot. Some of the rooms need a bit of repair work done but all in all was a lovely stay.
We have stayed in this lodge several times over the last 7 years, and it has been perfect. We are a family group, with ages ranging from a baby of 16 months to a great-grandad of 97 years! we have been quite comfortable over the years, but with the sofas being low, we have always had to take some higher chairs with us. We have always found the lodge clean and full of all the things we may need, from toilet rolls and liquid soap to tin foil and salt and pepper. Extras such as tissues, kitchen rolls, ice and cooking oil, we have taken with us. We have often arranged a Tesco delivery to arrive at...more
We booked clear water for a new year break and wow I’m so glad we did!! The views over looking the lake is just breathtaking. Just a short walk from our house was a outdoor and indoor swimming pool with a relaxing spa, there was also a little softplay for younger kids aswell as a little park, tennis courts and football courts so the kids were well entertained:) There is paint balling near by and also canoeing! Clear water house was immaculate and the little homely touches were lovely! There was lots of books, board games and even a games room for the kids which was a lovely surprise!! The log...more
Fantastic house with an incredible view and surrounding area, I only wish we had more time to stay there.
We had a very good stay at Spring Lake 51. Especially the lounge area on the patio was a big hit with the nice weather we experienced. The house is well equipped with fast Wifi, large smart TV and even a PlayStation Pro. Very popular when travelling with two teens. Nice kitchen with all you need for self catering. The fridge space is somewhat limited. The location is great and a very good base for exploring the beautiful Cotswolds. Driving to Stonehenge took less than 1,5 hours. The activities on the lake runs from 8-9 AM to roughly 8 PM and does create some noise. We knew this before arrivi...more
Very well equipped and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing and a real treat. Loved the back to nature feel. Good facilities in the village including fabulous pubs and a really good chip shop. Would definitely go back
32b Summer lake is a beautiful well equipped house with spectacular views over the lake. We spent a very relaxing week there ( myself, husband and four teenagers) and there was enough space for us all. A couple of the beds are obviously children sized (which were a little small for a 6ft lad) but he managed!! We made good use of the gas barbecue and, as you would imagine, with four teenagers, the wi-fi.
Very comfortable house and lovely and warm and cosy as the weather was awful. Perfect place to catch up with old friends, amazing view and wildlife to watch. We found the location very central for all of us coming from different parts of the country. A very special weekend we will always remember.
Lovely property in a beautiful location and would certainly like to return. Very well equipped. Welcome pack a nice surprise. We stayed at the beginning of October so it was very peaceful. Security at entrance welcoming and Orion team very helpful.
The house was well equipped and located to provide a relaxed weekend for a multi aged group. Twin bedrooms slightly too small.
Had stayed twice previously so we knew what to expect. Very well equipped and comfortable. A good family holiday
Booked for 3 nights stay with son,daughter-in -law, 5yr. 3yr. and 9 month old grandchildren. Very nice nice property with good kitchen and three bathrooms plus cloakroom. Laundry facilities if needed for a longer stay. Nice deck on three sides to sit out on if weather permits. Excellent grass area for games. Membership of spa included, which has very nice indoor and out door pool plus treatment rooms if wanted. Only one parking space per unit on site but extra parking short walk away. Glad I packed collapsable trolley as made transporting of luggage and food etc. easy as 25 -30 yards from pa...more
A very good place to stay between house moves. Good to see all the birds while walking in the nature reserve. Although no beavers!
All of the family, grandparent, son and daughter-in-law, grandsons thoroughly unjoyed the stay, conditions and surrounding area. Fishing was excellent, so to were the games facilities. Local food was very good in pubs restaurants, Summer lake .brassiere visited many times. All round great time!!!!!!
A fantastic venue for a large family birthday weekend. Super setting with lots to see and enjoy. So good we may make it an annual event.
A really great few days, spent in a lovely house. The house has everything you could need and the description on the website is accurate.
The property itself is lovely, well equipped and comfortable. We stayed with our adult sons and wives, as we have many times, and often stay in properties with hot-tubs. The hot-tub in this one was disappointing. There arent really six seats in it and when put on the highest setting, there were very few bubbles, it just felt old and in need of replacing. Apart from that, we enjoyed our break.
The house worked really well for our group, it’s a great spot and we loved the Lower Mill Estate. The house is really well equipped and really comfy. Could do with better outdoor lighting at the front, especially when arriving in the dark. There were quite a lot of cobwebs up on the high ceiling in the lounge, tricky to get to but would be good to blitz them. Highly recommend staying here
We spent 4 days at Tide Cottage. The location is great and the property was reasonably well equipped. The weather wasn’t too kind to us but still plenty to do. We have already booked to return next year albeit to a different cottage.
We went as a family of 6 to stay for a week at this property. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. Location was perfect, my elderly mother particularly enjoyed the balcony outside her bedroom with the hanging rattan chairs! The only thing I could say was that the bed in the master bedroom wasn’t particularly comfortable but that is probably a matter of personal test. The service from Orion was exceptional from start to finish, even bringing us an alternative DVD player within a couple of hours of me pointing out that the one in the house didn’t seem to be working. Nothing was too muc...more
Lovely, homely accommodation which suited our group for our second visit. We've visited for New Year and it suits our needs exactly as a group of four couples who like to get together, explore the nearby walks etc, and have nights in to catch up. Rooms all very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. Only negative was that hot water ran out frequently, meaning that after 5 showers, there wouldn't be hot water for a number of hours, which left members of the group either cold or without a shower! Nevertheless, would certainly recommend to friends/ families
Second stay in 2 months. Different and slightly smaller property this time but had everything we needed. Kitchen was well equipped. Perfect property. So easy to book and access to property was simple.
Didn't like bedroom windows couldn't have them open when it rained. Other than that we liked the property.
We received a fantastic welcome and everything looked fine on the surface. However the bed in master bedroom was not comfortable and prevented us from sleeping well. For the price we paid our expectations were higher as other family members staying nearby received much more for their money.
This house is fantastic and it is in a wonderful setting. The house is comfortable, spacious and well laid out. The beds are particularly comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Owners provided useful information. I would recommend this as a place to stay!
It was a good house to stay in. The bedrooms were small and an additional bathroom would be useful. Clothes storage was inadequate in all except main bedroom. Lounge and dining area were good. Kitchen was small. Location of house was ideal.
The property was well positioned, clean, warm. Kitchen area was good. Teas and coffee supplied was a good idea.
Wonderful 3 bed cottage , perfect location for a few weeks away - kindly allowed ya to bring dog and cat so everyone got a break - Orion sorted everything for us , thank you Guys !
Nice enough little holiday home, however ... Our party was two families, comprising of 3 teens and 4 adults and I have to say it was a bit of a squeeze with the twin rooms being only just big enough for 2 beds and no room to manoeuvre around them. The second double had no wardrobes and occupants had to use the storage space on the landing which was just awkward - the twin rooms also had no wardrobes, just drawers. There was no heating thermostat so we found ourselves constantly too hot or too cold. The master bedroom only had double doors no window so airing the room at night was also awkward...more
As a temporary home, Mill Village is a lovely place to be. You wake up to the sound of ducks and geese, you have lovely surroundings and facilities. It is a safe haven and if you like being outdoors it is as close to perfect as it can be, at times we walked for miles with just the sound of nature around us. Property was well equipped for our stay and suited our needs perfectly.
Overall the house was comfortable and clean but there were a few things that let it down slightly like the dishwasher not working very well. The customer service was very good and the access to onsite facilities, like the pool and lakes were great.
