A short Monday to Friday break with husband, daughter and her new 3 month old baby. Park and lodge were ideal. Lovely comfortable lodge, lots to do in surrounding area and eating facilities around were excellent. Will come back!
Loved our stay at 15 waters edge. A beautiful quiet location on the lake ,but very well located for the local area and all it has to offer. Would we go back? In a heartbeat! Orion holidays were very easy to deal with ,we’d book with them again no problem .
Such a lovely place would rebook so relaxing went with husband daughter son in law grandchildren only down side no on site shops you have to drive out to local co op otherwise fantastic
Our 3rd time in the Cotswolds and it never disappoints. The Landings is one of the best houses we've stayed in - really spacious and everything you need inside, as well as a fabulous decking area that got the sun all day and well into the evening. The hot tub was great and maintained every day by the owner. Both Orion and Kev, the owner of the property were excellent - Orion gave us excellent proactive customer service, and Kev was so helpful and welcoming - providing tennis equipment and the bonus of having paddle board & kayak at the house...very much enjoyed! Would fully recommend this ...more
The flat was beautifully kept and felt very homely with all the additional items you could need for a self catered apartment. The customer service was brilliant and they were quick to reach out and advise us an early check in was possible. The location was also great, very relaxing with activities readily available! Unfortunately the balcony had not been cleaned properly and there were a lot of spiders webs which made it less enjoyable to use! We also had an issue that the door handle didn’t work on one of the bedrooms causing someone to get stuck in there! Kindly someone can stay chat awa...more
enjoyable used it as a base to tour the Cotswolds with family and friends bed in attic room a bit to low
Booked this to revisit Christmas after it was disrupted by covid. Grandchildren enjoyed the water and other sports available. They kept them away from their screens. Chalet was well appointed, comfortable and suited us fine. Convenient for trips to locations such as Stonehenge, Bath, and Cirencester.
Three generation stayed in the same house loads of space and everything lovely. Booked again for next year. Orion staff very courteous and helpful would recommend
Every member of the family loved it . From the youngest who enjoyed the play parks and Bumble van to the rest of the family who spent all day doing various water sports on the lake , bike rides round the lake ,swimming in the pools or fishing , it was a brilliant holiday .
A lovely property right on the edge of the lake. With its own access for ease of kayaking or paddle boarding. The property was very comfortable and easily catering for a family of four + dog. Kitchen requires updating along with all kitchen utensils etc. Would recommend.
Booked for a 50th. Spacious, comfortable and perfect setting. Would definitely book again!! Thank you
We loved our stay at Clouds Keep & would definitely book again. The house location is great and the view is stunning. We were a little disappointed with the outdoor areas as they weren’t kept in good condition & the outdoor furniture is worn/broken. It would be good to have King size or Super King beds too.
Having stayed in a smaller lodge on a previous occasion the lake wasn't a surprise. But having more of the family there really brought this place into ints own. Bedrooms were large and having an en-suite in each was excellent. The ground floor was spacious and well equipped enough for everyone. The position on the lake was wonderful and far enough away from the road and its associated noise to be peaceful. Only the rotten post and rusty gate on the veranda were negative points.
Very clean, and comfortable. Attention to detail was evident, with everything we needed provided for an enjoyable family break.
This house was used as extra space for family who were spending the jubilee weekend together at no 66. This house isn’t quite opposite 66 but just slightly before you reach 66, but 62 means you have your own view of the lake, as apposed to looking onto the front of someone house. Lovely inside, with everything you need. Decking space is small for the outside space compared to those right on the lake, but perfect for a couple to sit out. The site itself is peaceful, very tranquil. Orion holidays are very helpful.
Loved the place! Plenty of space, very clean. Loved the pantry space. The pressure of the showers was really good too. It is very well situated close to nearby amenities, lovely walks and visiting the Cotswolds etc. The place was well stocked with kitchen utensils. The only thing that we noticed was the noise of the traffic on the nearby road but luckily it was quiet at night. Nearby local pub, pizzeria and cafe/restaurants were all great.
Lodge is very well equipped. Views over the lake and the bird life are a joy to observe. The grounds are immaculately maintained and I have enjoyed lovely walks. Isis Lake is well situated for trips to Bath, Cheltenham, Oxford and of course the whole of the Cotswolds. Close by there is a very good selection of pubs and eateries. The Crown at Cerney Wick is excellent.
Enjoyed our stay, comfortable beds and living accommodation. Right next to tennis courts and pool. Beautiful scenery. Well equipped kitchen. Could do with separate recycling bin facilities indoors. Also 2 extra chairs at dining table as there were 6 and we were a group of 8. Would have been nice to all eat together. Overall fantastic, would def stay again. Thank you
Everything was as expected, within walking distance of village with nice pubs, close to all the activities. Would highly recommend the Waterside Kitchen and Bar, excellent food.
Super location on Isis Lake with quick access to tennis courts etc. House was ideal for a holiday and immaculately clean. Lovely friendly holiday complex and the customer service at Orion was exemplary.
Excellent location for touring the Cotswolds area. Beautiful location right on the water’s edge. Property fairly comfortable, clean and tidy. Jack and Jill bathroom rather compact but good showers. More than enough crockery, glasses etc and a fabulous selection of games and activity equipment for rain days. Lounge furniture and general decor could maybe benefit from an update. Overall we had a fantastic stay.
The property was fantastic. Very clean and well equipped. Amazing view over the lake from the nice big veranda. We could hardly fault the place and would recommend it. Big beds and two huge settees made it a comfortable stay. Lots for families to do both in the Isis lake encampment and also around the lakes area. Very safe for the kids to just go out of the front door and explore. Loved the whole holiday.
Modern, extremely well equipped waterfront property overlooking one of the smaller lakes. A peaceful location with plenty to do in the surrounding area. The property is well maintained and ideal for a large group or family holiday. Grandchildren enjoyed feeding Swans, Ducks, Geese and Coots from the balcony. Would highly recommend this property. South facing so sun all day onto the balcony. Perfect for evening cocktails.
A lovely 4 bedroom property with an ideal lakeside location. Enjoyed the stay and amenities. Easy to access and fully furnished.
Property was clean and well equipped. Ideal location for a quiet break. Had fun rowing on the lake with the grandchildren. Proximity to activities, towns and places of interest as well as restaurants was farther out than we expected and we had to drive everywhere which was not what we anticipated based on the literature we read before arriving. It didn't stop us going out and we had fun planning days out.
We had a great family stay for a long weekend, with 3 families spread across 2 properties. The setting is fantastic, with lovely grounds to walk around, pretty lakes and the ability to kayak/paddleboard in one lake. The kids had a brilliant time and spent hours in the play area, which was less than 100m from the house. Would definitely stay again
Had a fabulous weekend away and the property was exactly as advertised on the website. There were a few minor issues - only one key provided for 8 guests, the crockery needs replenishing as there were not enough prosecco glasses/wine glasses etc for 8 people. The outside space could have been cleaned in advance as the furniture was covered in cobwebs. On the plus side - there was plenty of room, towels provided and bright communal space. The spa passes were a great help. Would definitely come again.
We stayed in number 87 for a week. It was wonderful; very relaxing , just what we needed. The house was very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. The scrabble even had a pen and paper! Loved the Bluetooth speaker table. Lovely to have a chair by the main bedroom window. My husband enjoyed fishing every day snd I was happy to read, crochet, listen to music, enjoy the view and walk the dog - plenty of places to walk locally. Thoroughly recommend and hope to return soon.
The property was excellent to be fair and just like the images online … the outside areas could have done with cleaning but inside was good. Great location and we all enjoyed our stay
This was a family holiday to celebrate my 75th birthday. I couldn’t have asked for more from the accommodation and location. The peace and tranquility of the surroundings were wonderful. There was always something for the three generations of our family to do. Even just sitting quietly reading or soaking up the peace of looking out onto water was so relaxing Orion holidays were friendly and efficient and always there if I needed help or information. This was a memorable holiday and one to be repeated.
The Sunset Lodge was the perfect place to catch up with friends for the weekend, we were lucky with the weather so could make the most of the deck area overlooking the lake. The break was really relaxing, a lovely mix of walks, lunches and bubbles both from the hot tub and glasses of fizz! I would highly recommend Orion Holidays.
Overall the holiday was brilliant, location was excellent, accommodation was great, only real complaint was the outside decking area was well overdue a update, also a bit disappointed in the amount of cobwebs and general mess stuck to the decking and the glass between the rails was filthy, wouldn’t take much to sort this out, we will return but already looked at other properties in this area, and on the same lake.
We stay on the lake a couple of times a year and this was our first stay in No. 19. We had a lovely holiday and it’s probably the best location on Spring lake that we’ve stayed in - as close to the lake as you can get, without losing the grassy area that the children love to play on. Just a few yards from the lakeside Brasserie and water sports. Having glass instead of wooden fencing around the decking was a really lovely addition and view of the lake. It was really well equipped - especially the kitchen. There were just a few things that would enhance comfort and make it competitive w...more
Great stay once more, so much so we extended our stay and booked again for next year! Property has has seen improvements since our last visit in 2020, not least the new hot tub as the old one was rather past its best! The building work that was ongoing during our visit did cause some disruption during our stay but not overly much. This will probably increase as work gathers pace and the end product will obviously negatively impact the view from the decking once completed! We'll fully judge that upon our return next year!
Nice clean lodge. Convenient location close to the restaurant, spa, play areas and small shop. Lots of wildlife close by.
Great stay had by the 5 of us in this wonderfully presented apartment. The location is great, right in the heart of the Cotswolds Water Park. We would all highly recommend a stay here
Our second time to the Lower Mill Estate. Lovely property on Howell’s Mere with good facilities. Hot tub, BBQ, fully equipped kitchen. Would definitely return.
The location of this property was perfect for us. We have 9 year old twin grandsons who loved paddle boarding on the lake. We also enjoyed the tennis courts, play area and table football! We felt the equipment in No 42 was a little tired. The cutlery was sparse and poor quality. The shower head in the en suite was too heavy and did not stay in place. The oven overheated. The hot tub was excellent and very well used during our stay. Overall we really enjoyed our week at No 42 and would like to book again for a property adjoining Windrush Lake (we have a provisional reservation for No 66).
Absolutely loved our stay! Having a private jetty was such a winner for all the family! Lakeside Brasserie lovely location & food. Look forward to staying again in future!
Again what an amazing lodge. We have been to Isis Lakes around 10 times now and it never fails. Great location, amazing lodges, lots of chilling. We will definately be returning again in teh near future. 5 stars all round.
Really comfortable and very well equipped house. The views across the lake including the spectacular sunsets were a bonus and most memorable.
First impressions was very good, nice position right next to the lake although lake was obstructed by the height of the bushes. The patio was very large but tired and could do with an update, and also a clean. In interior was very clean only exceptions were, cobwebs on ceilings, cleaners need to look up when cleaning the house. The state of the windows and ledges weren’t good cobwebs everywhere and window ledges looked liked they hadn’t been cleaned in years.
Great property , exactly as advertised , well equipped , fantastic that we had canoes with the house ! The lakeside walks , pool area , restaurant facilities all were immaculate .
lovely clean, spacious and attractive house. The site was beautiful, well maintained, peaceful Everything we needed was there.
The lodge is easily located by road and on arrival there is plenty of parking. The lodge is extremely well equipped. Everything is very clean and modern. It's ideal for a family. Might be a bit of squash with more than two couples as the main bedroom is extremely spacious with a lakeside view but the other two bedrooms seem better suited to children or teenagers. There are two bathrooms. It is also quiet but with access to all kinds of facilities nearby from water sports to walking and cycling. There is an extensive range of eating places. Also nearby is the Cotswold Country Park and Be...more
We had a fantastic stay paddle boarding , Kayaking and fishing we especially loved the pontoon access off the decking we would definitely come back again. The house was great for our family as everyone had their space and the 4 bathrooms was a godsend and the location was so peaceful. Our only observation is that the decking is getting a bit tired and could do with a sand down and repaint along with some of the stairways. These are not criticisms and I no way spoilt our enjoyment it was a fantastic place and we would happily stay again
We couldn't have picked a worse weekend weather wise but 68 Mill Village was lovely. The fire was very welcoming after our wet and windy walks. We cannot wait to come back in the summer/ when weather is kinder.
We were a group of 10, 5 adults and 5 children (ranging 0-5). It was a very nice place, quite well equipped with things and pretty clean- under the sofas being an exception. It would be good to have a few more mugs in the kitchen and the patio door was very stiff to close so could do with a little oil. One suggestion we would make would be to possibly have some locks on bedroom doors. It was good to be able to hire high chairs and travel cot but stair gates would be good also. Having use of the pool was great, really nice pools and great to have an outdoor pool in the nice weather.
Good …………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..How ridiculous…………………………………………………………………..
Can’t recommend this place enough Lovely clean cottage overlooking the lake with outside decking with garden & own jetty to take your paddle boat or canoe out on. Perfect for us & our two Granddaughters & our dog . So pleased we chose this particular one as it met all our needs. Very quiet & we could park close by & lovely dog walks around the estate .Would love to come back again .
Great cottage for a short family getaway. Good location and close to the local amenities. Heated pool nearby was brilliant.
Lovely property, could not want for any home comfort or necessity for comfortable stay .Very large deck overlooking a lake which was a big feature and made a huge difference to our enjoyment. A hot tub on the deck would be perfect but is probably impossible to to provide. we were not impressed by the onsite cafe/bar/ store which was downmarket and refuses cash. To find anywhere half decent to eat you have to walk at least a mile, which is no problem, but anywhere other than the Bakers Arms, a car is needed and booking is a must. I did feel like prisoner No.6 from the tv series of the 70's ...more
