Normally go on a cruise each year with the children (17,12) but this year decided to stay in the UK. The cottage was magnificent, has everything you could possible need it a beautiful perfect location. We went the week of the heatwave so made the most of the activities all the lakes have to offer. Will definitely be back
We had high hopes for a fabulous weekend retreat and we were not disappointed! The cottage was clean to a very high standard, very well equipped with everything we needed and in a perfect location. Booking, checking in and checking out was very simple and made very easy. We did struggle to find the right cottage initially, but once found it was perfect. We booked into the onsite restaurant, Balihoo, for Sunday lunch. Again fabulous service with friendly staff and seriously good food! We will most definitely be booking again!
We’ve stayed in Mill Village on several occasions. This was our first time at 53 The Mallards. Everything was spotless comfortable clean and cozy. Even they many of the houses have the same configuration, it felt like the interior design for the furnishings were beautifully thought through, down to the artwork on the walls abd the lack of any clutter. There was a great collection of books to read as well as games for all in the cupboard. And of course great to be able to use the spa. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Lovely property, very spacious and welcoming. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and very clean throughout. Although there are neighbours on both sides, its not overlooked and is an incredibly peaceful place to stay. Lovely to be able to go on the water straight from the back door. We had a really gorgeous week here and would definitely return. The only negative was that I felt the outside space was a bit tired and cramped. It could do with a freshen up but that didn't stop us enjoying our time out there lounging and watching the Heron and ducks on the lake!
It was absolutely perfect for a girls catchup, the property itself was exactly as we hoped plenty of space,it was so serene with the views of the lake and close to all amenities would definitely return
We booked this accommodation for my husband's 50th family birthday. Communication about the booking was very good and consistent and the staff I spoke to were very helpful. The accommodation itself was lovely and very comfortable. The location was amazing, right on the side of a large lake. The accommodation was very well equipped. The inside was immaculately clean. The only thing I would comment negatively on was the cleanliness of the outside area overlooking the lake. Overall, the property was perfect in an excellent location. However the sofa was not comfortable - appreciate this may be personal choice in the end, but appeared to be style over substance !! The rest of the property was excellent
The beds were very comfortable and equipment excellent. We particularly liked the hot tub with the wonderful view over the lake, the ducks and Swans!

A birthday trip to enjoy water-skiing, wake-boarding, rifle shooting and a lovely meal with family. Stunning location, fabulous facilities and a whole bunch of wonderful memories.
We had an amazing week at Spring Lake, the house has everything you could possibly need , There are lovely restaurants in walking distance and of course you can enjoy any water sport that you prefer. We will definitely be back .
This was a multigenerational family get together to celebrate a big birthday. We were aged from 10 weeks to 77 years old! We all enjoyed this most comfortable house, which was probably the best equipped I have ever stayed in. Comfort and cleanliness were exceptional and the contact before and after from Orion was superb. We were familiar with the location but again enjoyed walks, swimming and cycling. Our 2nd visit to isis lake but our 1st at no 55 and with orion holidays. Can't fault orion for their processxand communication. Isis 55 is a beautiful home and in a perfect location. Immaculate and everything you need for a self catering holiday. Only issue were the floors. Both down and upstairs. Incredibly noisy when walking anywhere within the house. The floors were very uneven and in some places coming up. We would love to stay here again but afraid the floors are just too much of an issue.
The property was excellent. Clean, spacious and well positioned on the site. The site itself was lovely. Hot tub was a great addition.
The property was excellent, it had everything we needed and was in a beautiful location beside the lake. It was great having a secure decking area for our dog and plenty of grounds to walk around. We used the tennis courts several times and used our SUPs and kayak on Windrush lake which was an easy walk from the property with our kit. The property had everything we needed for cooking and all rooms were clean and comfortable. A great property overall.
Beautiful location over looking the lakes, property lovely and clean with everything included that you would need. Hot tub an added bonus and private. Patio does loose the sun about 5pm but a blessing if hot but can always sit around the side of property if a sun chaser. Location 12mins from Bibury beautiful village but visit in evening as far too busy in the day. Also recommended Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Gardens spent whole day there lovely place.
Wow, what an amazing house. The location, the view from the decking and the overall style of the house. Everything was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils- just missing egg cups! The bathrooms were all clean and tidy. But to end on a positive, the kids loved the lake and the shared pontoon was perfect for paddle boarding off and fishing.
My wife and I took our adult daughter away for a relxing holiday and we weren't dissapointed. The house was delightful, bright and airy and very comfortable in every respect. The house was very well equiped, plenty of storage and comfortable beds and the outside deck beside the lake was a real bonus. We enjoyed watching the water skiers and wild life and the facilities around the other lakes were very good too. We spent 3 nights in the lovely and peaceful location. Patio was a good size and we used both the BBQ and hot tub which were good. There are well maintained grounds and well planted gardens surrounding the properties. Great activities on site: tennis, table tennis, pool and plenty of room to walk, play football and watch the wildlife. It was super to just walk down and paddle board on the lake immediately in front of the house. This was a family gathering of eight for a special birthday. The location was perfect on a beautiful lake with plenty of wildlife to enjoy and a cuckoo calling in the background. The accommodation worked perfectly and had everything we needed for our stay including games, boules and tennis racquets. There were plenty of local activities and a good choice of places to eat and a large Tesco was only a short drive away. We are already planning our next visit.

Excellent provision of all we needed, a joy to spend a family reunion there with our two much loved dogs. The doggy welcome bag was a delightful touch.

We had a great family stay for a long weekend, with 3 families spread across 2 properties. The setting is fantastic, with lovely grounds to walk around, pretty lakes and the ability to kayak/paddleboard in one lake. The kids had a brilliant time and spent hours in the play area, which was less than 100m from the house. Would definitely stay again
Incredible views, loads of space, comfy beds, sunken hot tub, near restaurants and bars - everything you could want for a weekend away!
Lovely little place, we used for 2 week stay for work that was near by. Got all amenities and cleaner came in once a week to change bedding and give a clean etc. Loved staying here and would stay again.
We stayed for a mid week break in June 2025's heatwave. It was lovely to be next to the lake in the heat. There were lakes where we could paddle to cool down and let the dog walk in (on lead). The property was properly dog friendly with throws on the settees expecting dogs to climb up and no area of the house out of bounds for the dog. There are many walks around the estate (which is a nature reserve) and also on the Thames path for the dog as well as the humans. This was our 5th visit to the Cotswold Lakes and our fourth to Windrush/Isis. We love fronting on to Windrush where we can keep an eye on our 12 year old grandsons while they paddle away on their paddle boards. No 65 has a very suny aspect and catches the sun until the evening, which is great for lounging about on the patio overlooking the lake. We all love the hot tub as well. There is also lots to do locally. We always go to the beach one day. The boys go waterskiing and we enjoy the Cotswold sculpture park and all the lovely restaurants.
Lots of cobwebs inside under worktop. Had an issue with WIFI my husband lost half a days work. Also hot tub had dirt in it. Reported this on the Sunday, no one came until the Wednesday so couldn’t use it. He added more chemicals which burnt our eyes and irritated of skin.
We wanted a house that comfortably accommodated all of us and it certainly lived up to expectations. It was cosy and comfortable. It was equipped well with everything we needed for our stay. The position of the house on the lake was perfect for guests who love to fish or boat on the lake. The hot tub was wonderful as well. The swimming pools were clean and well maintained. Having a booking system meant that we were able to get a slot on every day we wanted one. Plus the tennis and multi function courts were a great asset. There was something for everyone
First time at the lakes and will definitely be returning. Fab location. Orion staff really helpful when we realised we hadn’t packed our own life jackets for use on lake with own equipment. Site is well looked after and clean. Walking routes to other areas and lakes. Would recommend a stay here for anyone who hasn’t been.
My family and I have recently staid at 5 Waters Edge Cotswold Water Park. The lodge was clean and kitchen fully stocked with utensils. The decor was good for a rental property as sometimes rentals can look tired, Our stay was comfortable no complaints. Orion helped us with any requests I would use them again. Thank you.
Apartment was lovely, but felt it was a bit tired. Doors to decking from the bedroom were swollen at the bottom which made them difficult to shut. Drain smell in the shower. Info description stated there was a club house. Pub and restaurant, did not realise it was Ballyhoo all in one.
We had a lovely break in Casa Angela and have no complaints. We were there to relax and enjoy each other’s company which we did.
The house was welcoming, comfortable and well stocked. Everyone felt immediately at home and the team at Orion Holidays were on hand to answer any questions. Swimming pool etc was not as much a hassle as I had feared but only hour sessions available per day. Other facilities great like tennis, playground, etc. Loved our stay and would return again gladly. Was just a teeny weeny bit jealous of the houses near us that were actually on a lake but kind of new that going into it.
We had a wonderful stay in this delightful cottage overlooking the lake, with passing wildlife, plenty of sunshine, and beautiful views. Both balcony bedrooms shared the same outlook, making the mornings especially memorable. The house is very comfortable for up to 7 guests, with a large open-plan living area featuring a balcony, log fire, TV, big kitchen table, and a well-equipped kitchen. I’ve just returned from another delightful break at Mill Village with my big kids and grandchildren. We drive from Brighton every year!) Damsel Cottage has everything we need regardless of age. I never tire of the beautiful lakeside views and walks, whilst the youngsters love the heated swimming pool, cycling and taking the kayaks out. It’s completely safe for them both cycling around the estate and there are lots of pretty Cotswolds towns and other venues to visit nearby. We also very much appreciated the large new walk-in shower. My happy place….and so many great memories.
We stayed at the landings with our family including new baby granddaughter to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We had the best time. The accommodation was lovely the paint is a little bit tired and scruffy in places but it didn’t detract from the spacious comfortable house. Bedrooms were lovely my only niggle is the mattresses weren’t comfy they were a bit lumpy but the bedding etc was very nice. Overall, we had a lovely Easter Break. The lake view was very relaxing and location was good as we drove to visit Cotswolds villages. There are plenty of parking within the area so would recommend to big family/group. The property is well maintained and staffs are very accommodating and tennis court are extra bonus. However, we were not able to book for kayaks and fishing so will definitely do it in advance in our next stay.
Our stay at Mill Village 75 was nothing short of perfect. Nestled on the largest lake within the Lower Mill Estate, this charming cottage offered the ideal setting for a relaxing holiday. The location couldn't have been better—our teenagers had a fantastic time with easy access to the lake for water sports, which kept them entertained throughout our stay. We had a lovely stay at the lodge on Spring Lake in the Cotswolds. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, letting us check in early and leave late — which we really appreciated. The lodge was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. Had a good meal at the onset bar and also walked to village and would recommend the pubs

This is our fourth time visiting Spring Lake and it did not disappoint. Accommodation was perfect, outdoor seating was really comfy and bifold doors meant even when the weather wasn't the best we could still watch the Lake activities. The Lakeside Brasserie did the best Sunday roast platter. Great time had by the whole family from age 25 to 90 !
The accommodation is well located, right next to the lake. It has all of the mod cons, two fridge, dishwasher and a washing machine. The interior is a little tired and could do with some updating and if there are more than six people, it is a bit of a squeeze trying to fit on the two sofa in the lounge.
Very enjoyable and relaxing stay with family... accommodation was clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed. Outdoor pool was great hit with grandson, warm and clean. The lakes and surrounding walks superb.
The location is fantastic, with the views looking out over the lakes. The facilities at mill village are too few for the number of homes. We could not get booked onto any tennis courts, the swimming pool was always fully booked and the cafe/restaurant always refused to serve as 'over busy'. The shop, it's not really a shop to be honest didn't sell milk or bread, resulting in a 10 minute drive to a local village. Unfortunately it's a classic example of building far to many homes that the infrastructure can't support. A big shame and to an extent spoiled our holiday. Won't be returning.
The property was in need of some TLC. There were no curtains in the main living area, which made it very difficult when it was sunny, there was no way to keep the room cool and you could not watch TV. The flooring by the folding doors is lifting, which could cause an issue soon. The bed in the main bedroom was not very comfortable, the mattress sunk below the edge of the bed when you sat on it. There was no first aid box, as described in the book in the accommodation. There appeared to be a lack of instruction manuals, so it was difficult to use the equipment, it was all a bit of guess work...more
