My Family and I used to stay at Parade house many years ago before this new refurbishment. The modernisation of the accommodation is amazing. We chose the View to stay at, with the excellent glass frontage view of the beach and the very handy safe fenced in garden we could let our two dogs safely run around in while we sat in the hot tub. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed, very clean and comfortable. It's location is one of the best in Woolacombe for being very close to the town but still with the almost unobstructed view of the beach. Customer service was excellent...more
The flat is clean and spacious, modern with amazing views. Ideal for two couples or a family of four at a fraction of the price you would pay for decent hotel accommodation. It’s less than a five minute walk into Woolacombe with really good restaurants , cafes, bars and a supermarket. There are lots of amazing country and coastal walks in the area. Highly recommended
Lovely sea views and very close to beach and shops . We loved to sit on the balcony and look out across the beautiful beach and sea . I would highly recommend this apartment
This is a nice property in a lovely location. There is plenty of room in this property and it has all the basics that you need for a self catering holiday. The location is beautiful.
What a beautiful place to stay. The views were gorgeous of the beach and out to sea. The terrace was a wonderful suntrap. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped. Upstairs rooms were very light and airy but beware hitting your head on the sloping ceilings! We would definitely like to stay at this house again as it suits our needs - we go on long walks with the dogs every day and it is only a short walk up the road to fantastic walks with beautiful views.
Highly recommend. Fantastic position and views. Very comfortable. Heating effective, all facilities are excellent. Can't fault it.
This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with all you could need and incredibly warm and dry considering the high ceilings and the...more
This property was not like the usual holiday flat with minimum facililities. Everything that might be needed was there.
An ideal holiday location for our family. It had everything we wanted, including stunning sea views and top quality facilities. We partly self-catered and can honestly say that for this purpose it was the best equipped property we have ever stayed in. Car access is via a very steep drive and parking spaces are limited. We had difficulty with this during our stay and would not book her again unless the issue is addressed. We would recommend that parking is discussed with the agent before booking, particularly if you have more than 1 vehicle in your party and /or they are larger than a Mini e...more
We were lucky with the weather and family had a great time bodyboarding. Good quality white goods and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Comfortable beds. Could have done with a few more coffee tables and perhaps another couple of simple armchairs ? Key safe and front door locks were an acquired knack ! But all in all a really lovely property - have already booked for next year.
Holiday hunter's provided excellent customer service. House was immaculate - beautifully decorated and positioned. Welcome tea and cake on arrival. Highly recommend.
My very positive review last year of 6 Little Beach focused largely on the tribulations of our journey to Woolacombe rather than the property itself. So this year, I’ll try and talk a bit more about Number 5 Narracott which is where we actually stayed. However, unlike last year’s positivity, this year’s review does unfortunately include a large number of complaints. My first complaint is that our journey this year was actually rather uneventful. Obviously we left late due to the usual procrastinating of the other half (although this has become such an inevitable thing that I would probably...more
I enjoyed looking at the view of the bay, people walking by look up and think "I wish we where staying there" . The house was very comfortable, it had everything required for a short stay.
Rosalie is a two bedroom apartment at the rear of Parade House. Although there are no sea views from inside the property, there is a small terrace (perfect for al fresco breakfast!) with a glimpse of the beach and a lovely terrace and garden space looking along the length of the beach and out to sea. The apartment is nicely presented and comes with two reserved, off-street parking spaces - a must-have for Woolacombe. It is fully equipped and ready to give guests a lovely holiday -if the weather obliges!
We had a really wonderful weeks stay at number 2 Little Beach. There were five of us staying, two adults and three teenagers and we were all seriously wowed when we arrived at the property. The property is in an amazing location with fantastic views of the sea, which can really be appreciated from the outdoor space. We found the property to be very clean and definitely a lot more spacious than we expecting. It’s definitely bigger than it looks in pictures! The little touches were appreciated, fresh flowers and biscuits on arrival! I would highly recommend staying at this property and wo...more
We are a three generation family and found this house excellent as we had 3 bath/shower rooms (two en-suite), a large comfortable lounge/diner with a small conservatory off, and a good sized and well equipped kitchen/breakfast room. There was room for the youngest member of the party to play with toys on the floor in the main living room, and a lovely view towards the sea, Baggy Point and beyond from the back of the kitchen/breakfast room. There were a number of games at the house for the inevitable wet day. Outside there was parking for two cars and two small patios with seating. The house is...more
Until we arrived we did not realise how many steps were up to the actual apartment, as my husband has a hip problem, at times it was difficult
We have stayed at Combe Cottage several times now and we couldn’t ask for more. Perfect accommodation and locality for a family holiday
Lovely modern flat very close to the village centre and beach. Gill and Rob are excellent hosts who are very friendly and helpful. Excellent value. We go back every year. Love it.
Outstanding views and everything you need within the apartment. We will definitely stay there again. Perfect family holiday
The property was clean, comfortable and good value for money. Centrally located in Mortehoe with off road parking. Would certainly stay here again.
Lovely accommodation, great location, beautiful views. Quite a few steps up to the property so not great as I had a bad knee but for the agile(as you need to be to get around Woolly and Mortehoe) it's no problem. Very clean even tho dogs are allowed, would recommend highly.
Excellent location for easy access to Woolacombe and Morthoe, if you can handle the hill. With stunning views from both balconies, this a spacious ,well set out apartment, but mind your head in the bedroom !
Wonderful views of the bay, coast and sea with then gorgeous sunsets in the evening. Everything you need for a two week break was supplied. It was very clean, very comfy and we'd love to stay again.
We enjoyed our stay here with our grandchildren. The accommodation was clean ,bright and comfortable. Just right for our beach family holiday. The owners were friendly and helpful.
The property at parade house is absolutely stunning, wonderful , breathtaking views of the Woolacombe beach and fantastic surroundings. The property is decorated very well and is very comfortable. The hot tub an added bonus. We would recommend they look at putting in an outside shower. More serving platters, side plates, cutlery would be welcomed as would materials to clean the bbq, rather than a £20 fine if not done adequately (it would have been helpful if the housekeeper had checked the bbq gas supply as we were unable to cook on it initially, thankfully the owner came by the next day)! Great location and a parking spot. The flat is quite big, I think you could squeeze 5 adults in! The only negative was the wifi - throughout the apartment there was none or almost no signal. Everything else was great. Would definitely stay there again. We took our 1 year old baby and it worked really well.
We arrived late in the day, after a journey into a severe weather warning for the south west, to be greeted by a warm and welcoming and beautifully appointed apartment. The following morning we woke, after a fantastic nights sleep on very comfortable beds, to the most fantastic view of the sea with Lundy Island slap bang in the middle. When we opened the verandah door the sound of the sea was brilliant and became a huge part of our experience during the whole of the week, The apartment became the central fixture of a fantastic holiday in wonderful Woolacombe and the location facilitated freque...more
6 Narracott Apartments is a lovely apartment situated very close to Woolacombe Village and Woolacombe beach (albeit up a short steep hill). The apartment has an open plan kitchen/living area and two sizeable bedrooms with loads of storage space. All three rooms have balconies with sea views. I would highly recommend this apartment for a family holiday.
Location, location, location says it all! Although the weather was not the best, Overcombe is so comfortable that we still had a wonderful stay.
Ocean View really does offer a wonderful and convenient location with great views over the vast expanse of Woolacombe's huge beach. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well serviced with warm powerful showers. Two bedrooms have an ensuite shower and the apartment also offers a pleasant bathroom. You'll have to share one common space for kitchen, meals and lounge/TV but that isn't a really a problem for a holiday that has so much outdoor potential. A couple of very tiny niggles that did not affect our holiday. One tap in the second ensuite shower room doesn't seem to work. The Sky T...more
Very nice apartment, had everything you needed and the views from the apartment were wonderful. Maybe a rug in the lounge part would have made it a bit more cosy but on saying that we were very happy with the apartment and would definitely think about staying there again.
My husband and I have just returned from a lovely week in The Old Bakery Cottage. The cottage is really spacious and ideal for a family. The accommodations was clean and comfortable with amazing views over the bay and surrounding countryside. The location is perfect, with everything you need close at hand in the lovely village - friendly pubs serving good food, a cafe (The Smugglers Rest) who have recently started serving evening meals (Thurs - Sat). Having eaten there would highly recommend ! Not really any negatives - my husband is disabled so a grab rail on the bath would have he...more
Holiday Home Hunter are friendly and very experienced agents to deal with, as they have been for the last 9 years that we have been using them to book No 8. The views from the apartment are exceptional; for the beach or people watching. Car parking is very safe and secure, and the proximity to the nearest pub, the Red Barn, is literally a stone's throw away. Beach walks, of 3 miles or so, at this time of year ( mid -November) can sometimes mean one could be the only person on it; and generally we like Woolacombe now at this time because of that 'emptiness',. The owners have continuously ma...more
First time staying here , and was not disappointed. We are a family of 4 and although its a 2 bed apartment it had enough space for us not to feel on top of each other. It is in a wonderful location , close to the main beaches and a 5 minute walk to the town centre. Specified parking space a godsend as this area gets very busy in high season
Well appointed property located in a quiet location on the outskirts of Woolacombe and it's fabulous beach. Our dog loved it. A spacious property with good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. The only downside was the oversized and uncomfortable lounge seating - no good for posture or bad backs. The outside space is large and quirky with winding pathways on it's sloping landscape leading to a number of hidden spaces. There is a rundown summerhouse crammed full of outside furniture which was diificult to extract so we used our own portable seating which wasn't a disaster because when the weath...more
The location and accommodation are perfect for a family holiday. The property is well equipped , clean and well looked after. We appreciated being able to park two cars off road during the time of our stay. We will certainly consider booking the property again.
Sealoft has a fantastic location with wide ranging views over Woolacombe and Morte and handily placed between the 2 villages. The views from the property are fantastic and even on the wettest day you can just watch the world go by. Sealoft is a spacious and well endowed property with everything you need during your stay. A home from home, very comfortable and easy to relax in. As a obviously popular property it is just getting to the stage where a little tlc is required - saying this I would happily return here again and again. Second time I’ve stayed in this apartment. Very comfortable with all the home comforts. Only thing which let it down was the shower flooded every time we used it, dishwasher was hit or miss whether it would work and TVs had no signal. Pay a lot of money for the apartment so shouldn’t have those issues.
Superb place to stay lovely location nice and clean fantastic view across woolacombe bay from the small balcony. On the down side four flights of stairs hard work when moving luggage so if you have a disability would not be suitable, it was our second time as we stayed same time last year and hopefully can get it for same time next year
Great location, view from decking is excellent. The property has a on going problem with water coming in over the patio door, the owner is aware. The whole place need a really good clean and new beds, which are really uncomfortable. Also a word of warning, the property is half way up a very steep hill.
We stayed here during half term and were delighted with it :) The location was a stones throw from the beach and Woolacombe itself and the apartment was well equipped, clean and warm. Only tiny suggestions would be maybe to leave cleaning products available for use, i didn't think to bring any and some blankets for when you want to get cosy! Apart from those silly things it was great and would definitely stay there again.
We had a wonderful stay at Littlebeach for 1 week. The apartment has fantastic views, everything you need for a self catered stay and was very clean. The parking is right outside the door and the beach is a 5min walk down a slight hill. We had a mixture of good and bad weather, whilst we couldn't get out some days the apartment was very comfortable and enjoyable as a home from home. Will be visiting again next year 5/5 for us thank you!
Great location if you like Combesgate but be aware that there’s no sun on the patio til mid afternoon. We liked the apartment but it could be so much better if the owners spent a little more on the niceties, like a wardrobe or cupboard in the 2nd bedroom, an upgrade of Wi-Fi which to be frank didn’t really work for anything other than texting, a hairdryer, some pictures ( there was only 1 in the whole apartment) and more cutlery and glasses of which there was only the bare minimum. For a higher end apartment in terms of cost , it needed a bit more care and attention to detail.
We had two of our children, one grandson and one Great grandson during the week and we all enjoyed Stepping Stones, the view and activities around the beach were curtailed by rain every day but facilities at Stepping Stones were enjoyed by all generations.
When we arrived the parking was easy to get to and the property was easy to find. Good views and ease of access to the beach. On entering the flat there was a strong smell of damp towards the back of the flat. The floor in the living room was a trip hazard and could do with being looked at. Overall cleanliness was okay but could do with a deeper clean before new residents arrive. Every time we tried to use the oven it would set the smoke alarm off. The property accepted dogs however the front area was not secure so we had to take the dog out on a lead every time.
