Our third stay in this apartment and probably not our last. Perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). They found the beds so comfortable! The apartment is perfectly located for trips to the beach - so close we don’t even wear shoes - just grab our boards and go! And only a minute from town aswell. A warm welcome as always from Roger & Sharon who are perfect hosts x
The flat is clean and spacious, modern with amazing views. Ideal for two couples or a family of four at a fraction of the price you would pay for decent hotel accommodation. It’s less than a five minute walk into Woolacombe with really good restaurants , cafes, bars and a supermarket. There are lots of amazing country and coastal walks in the area. Highly recommended
My Family and I used to stay at Parade house many years ago before this new refurbishment. The modernisation of the accommodation is amazing. We chose the View to stay at, with the excellent glass frontage view of the beach and the very handy safe fenced in garden we could let our two dogs safely run around in while we sat in the hot tub. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully designed, very clean and comfortable. It's location is one of the best in Woolacombe for being very close to the town but still with the almost unobstructed view of the beach. Customer service was excellent...more
Lovely sea views and very close to beach and shops . We loved to sit on the balcony and look out across the beautiful beach and sea . I would highly recommend this apartment
This is a nice property in a lovely location. There is plenty of room in this property and it has all the basics that you need for a self catering holiday. The location is beautiful.
Very modern house with everything you need. The sea views are fantastic and location to beach and restaurants are all within 5 mins walk. Would definitely book again.
We book the apartment at Christmas and have done the last 3-4 years now. It is a total home from home getaway. The place is well cared for and has just been newly carpeted and as mentioned on previous reviews its had new furniture. The views out and the sound of the sea are amazing. We totally chill out when staying here...if I had one niggle it would me the mattress in the master bedroom needs replacing. We love Woolacombe and always enjoy our Christmas break.
Wonderful location and view - lovely apartment - ideal for a family of 4. Apartment very clean and perfect for a weeks holiday.
This property was not like the usual holiday flat with minimum facililities. Everything that might be needed was there.
An ideal holiday location for our family. It had everything we wanted, including stunning sea views and top quality facilities. We partly self-catered and can honestly say that for this purpose it was the best equipped property we have ever stayed in. Car access is via a very steep drive and parking spaces are limited. We had difficulty with this during our stay and would not book her again unless the issue is addressed. We would recommend that parking is discussed with the agent before booking, particularly if you have more than 1 vehicle in your party and /or they are larger than a Mini e...more
We've just had a fantastic sunny week in Woolacombe which was much needed after lockdown. The apartment was perfectly situated just off the Esplanade and just 2 minutes to the beach. The service from Holiday Home Hunter, the housekeepers and the owners themselves made sure that we felt well looked after. Comfy sofas and beds, great kitchen, great views, good parking and proximity to beach and village - make this one of the best properties we've stayed in as returning visitors to Woolacombe each year. We would absolutely book 1 Belmont Court again in the future - will be a bit gutted walk...more
We were lucky with the weather and family had a great time bodyboarding. Good quality white goods and plenty of crockery and cutlery. Comfortable beds. Could have done with a few more coffee tables and perhaps another couple of simple armchairs ? Key safe and front door locks were an acquired knack ! But all in all a really lovely property - have already booked for next year.
We have just returned from Combe Cottage and have had a wonderful stay. The cottage was very clean and at this point in time that is very important. The furniture and furnishing were good quality and there was everything there that we needed. It was really nice to have both a washing machine and a tumble dryer to use. The view from the house is stunning and can also be enjoyed from the patio and small garden at the front of the house. It is a very short walk down to Combesgate beach which is perfect for rock pooling and it’s a ten minute walk to the main beach and shops. There is ample p...more
As always had another wonderful stay at Woolacombe. Holiday Home Hunter have been excellent during this time with communication and help. House lovely , clean and the weather was perfect! Thank you to everyone who gave us a much needed break by the sea .
The team at HHH were really supportive and provided all the detail required in these unusual times, to make the holiday comfortable and enjoyable. The apartment itself is perfectly comfortable and furnished to a high standard.
Rosalie is a two bedroom apartment at the rear of Parade House. Although there are no sea views from inside the property, there is a small terrace (perfect for al fresco breakfast!) with a glimpse of the beach and a lovely terrace and garden space looking along the length of the beach and out to sea. The apartment is nicely presented and comes with two reserved, off-street parking spaces - a must-have for Woolacombe. It is fully equipped and ready to give guests a lovely holiday -if the weather obliges!
My very positive review last year of 6 Little Beach focused largely on the tribulations of our journey to Woolacombe rather than the property itself. So this year, I’ll try and talk a bit more about Number 5 Narracott which is where we actually stayed. However, unlike last year’s positivity, this year’s review does unfortunately include a large number of complaints. My first complaint is that our journey this year was actually rather uneventful. Obviously we left late due to the usual procrastinating of the other half (although this has become such an inevitable thing that I would probably...more
I enjoyed looking at the view of the bay, people walking by look up and think "I wish we where staying there" . The house was very comfortable, it had everything required for a short stay.
This is our second consecutive summer holiday at 2 Belmont Court and a second positive review. Everything that drew us back, the location, the views, the sound of the sea and the beautifully furnished apartment is as we remembered it and in this era of COVID we were impressed with the cleanliness and the preparation for our visit. We also found Woolacombe, which we have loved for a long time, a welcoming and safe environment and a role model for how a resort can come out of lockdown and maintain the safety of its visitors in a secure, open and friendly way.
We have enjoyed several holidays staying in Crescent Yard. The cottage is comfortable with everything needed for a holiday. Plenty of space, good facilities and a nice conservatory with a garden for BBQs. Ideal location for beach and coastal walks. WiFi reception could be better!
excellent accommodation, very well equipped, with terrific views. Highly recommended, only 10 to 15 minute walk to Woolacombe.
Lovely modern flat very close to the village centre and beach. Gill and Rob are excellent hosts who are very friendly and helpful. Excellent value. We go back every year. Love it.
6 Narracott Apartments is right in the centre of Woolacombe village and has 3 balconies (living room and each bedroom) with views over to Woolacombe beach and Baggy Point. Living accommodation has everything you need and the bedrooms are very spacious.
The property was clean, comfortable and good value for money. Centrally located in Mortehoe with off road parking. Would certainly stay here again.
Wonderful views of the bay, coast and sea with then gorgeous sunsets in the evening. Everything you need for a two week break was supplied. It was very clean, very comfy and we'd love to stay again.
Excellent location for easy access to Woolacombe and Morthoe, if you can handle the hill. With stunning views from both balconies, this a spacious ,well set out apartment, but mind your head in the bedroom !
Beautiful apartment with fantastic views. Very comfortable. Lovely balcony and also sheltered seating area at the back of the property. Would stay again. lack of hanging hooks for coats and storage areas for shoes, outside gear. No teapot!
The property at parade house is absolutely stunning, wonderful , breathtaking views of the Woolacombe beach and fantastic surroundings. The property is decorated very well and is very comfortable. The hot tub an added bonus. We would recommend they look at putting in an outside shower. More serving platters, side plates, cutlery would be welcomed as would materials to clean the bbq, rather than a £20 fine if not done adequately (it would have been helpful if the housekeeper had checked the bbq gas supply as we were unable to cook on it initially, thankfully the owner came by the next day)! We enjoyed our stay here with our grandchildren. The accommodation was clean ,bright and comfortable. Just right for our beach family holiday. The owners were friendly and helpful.
We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment, which was clean and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. The location is brilliant and the secure outdoor board store allocated to the apartment was great.
Great location and a parking spot. The flat is quite big, I think you could squeeze 5 adults in! The only negative was the wifi - throughout the apartment there was none or almost no signal. Everything else was great. Would definitely stay there again. We took our 1 year old baby and it worked really well.
Location, location, location says it all! Although the weather was not the best, Overcombe is so comfortable that we still had a wonderful stay.
Ocean View really does offer a wonderful and convenient location with great views over the vast expanse of Woolacombe's huge beach. The apartment is comfortable, clean and well serviced with warm powerful showers. Two bedrooms have an ensuite shower and the apartment also offers a pleasant bathroom. You'll have to share one common space for kitchen, meals and lounge/TV but that isn't a really a problem for a holiday that has so much outdoor potential. A couple of very tiny niggles that did not affect our holiday. One tap in the second ensuite shower room doesn't seem to work. The Sky T...more
Lovely 2-bed apartment in great location with amazing views. Clean, well-equipped property, everything you need in a holiday apartment. Would love to come back!
Had a great week in Woolacombe , as always , apartment is really well located , very well furnished , lots of space and the outside balacony a real bonus . The only negative i would say is the bathroom , which is abit tight . Overall great value for money and would stay here again . Helen
Despite all the extra problems created by COVID-19 the condition of the property was perfect.Gina the cleaner left everything in the right place. Many thanks for all the efforts of Mandy, Sarah and Julia from H.H.H. Looking forward to another holiday next year. Best regards Harry.
Holiday Home Hunter are friendly and very experienced agents to deal with, as they have been for the last 9 years that we have been using them to book No 8. The views from the apartment are exceptional; for the beach or people watching. Car parking is very safe and secure, and the proximity to the nearest pub, the Red Barn, is literally a stone's throw away. Beach walks, of 3 miles or so, at this time of year ( mid -November) can sometimes mean one could be the only person on it; and generally we like Woolacombe now at this time because of that 'emptiness',. The owners have continuously ma...more
Well appointed property located in a quiet location on the outskirts of Woolacombe and it's fabulous beach. Our dog loved it. A spacious property with good sized bedrooms and comfortable beds. The only downside was the oversized and uncomfortable lounge seating - no good for posture or bad backs. The outside space is large and quirky with winding pathways on it's sloping landscape leading to a number of hidden spaces. There is a rundown summerhouse crammed full of outside furniture which was diificult to extract so we used our own portable seating which wasn't a disaster because when the weath...more
Enjoyed our stay at Old Bakery Cottage. Property clean and comfortable and recently updated. Good views.
Second time I’ve stayed in this apartment. Very comfortable with all the home comforts. Only thing which let it down was the shower flooded every time we used it, dishwasher was hit or miss whether it would work and TVs had no signal. Pay a lot of money for the apartment so shouldn’t have those issues.
Amazing holiday property. Would certainly book again. Just one small observation is property has a full size dishwasher and even though it is only for two persons there weren’t enough cutlery and crockery eg just 4 plates etc Would be better with more items
Excellent property but as we took elderly parents a second hand rail on stairs would have been good.
We love Woolacombe and have stayed at Hartland Heights on a number of occasions. We have always been happy with the accommodation, it is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect and the views are stunning. When we did experience an issue it was addressed promptly by the Housekeeper and she even turned up with a bottle of wine and a box of chocolates to apologise for the inconvenience. The only issue with the accommodation is the strength of the WiFi signal, which can only be picked up in the lounge area. The decking area outside also needs addressing as some of the boards...more
This is a great apartment in a fantastic location. The flat was clean with great views and overall very comfortable but advertised as Sleeping 4/6 We booked for 6 And specifically requested extra linen as per the check in instructions but despite this we had to contact the cleaner (who was great!) who had not been notified and had to go and buy linen pillows and duvet for the sofa bed! Thanks for sorting this! There were only 4 dinner plates (one chipped) and 4 odd glasses. Dishwasher tabs provided but no washing up liquid sponge or dishcloth which was a pain as the local shop didn’t sell kitc...more
We had two of our children, one grandson and one Great grandson during the week and we all enjoyed Stepping Stones, the view and activities around the beach were curtailed by rain every day but facilities at Stepping Stones were enjoyed by all generations.
The property was nowhere near in the appropriate condition to have people staying. We have a 1 year old and the floor was unstable so very dangerous. It had also not been deep cleaned, despite assurances of this due to the COVID-19 crisis. In fact, it didn't seem to have been cleaned even to a decent standard. There was damp, and stickiness on the arms of chairs. Incredibly, woefully disappointed, especially for the price.
