We had a wonderful stay at Kittiwake and would happily return. The house is spacious, beautifully presented, and extremely well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable holiday. The views are absolutely stunning and must be among the very best in Woolacombe, overlooking Combesgate Beach and the coastline beyond. The beds were very comfortable, and the showers were fantastic – possibly the most powerful holiday home showers we’ve ever experienced! We had one very minor issue during our stay, but the housekeeper was responsive and helpful when we reported it. It certainly didn’...more
We have visited Woolacombe many times and we all agreed this is the best accommodation we have stayed in. The apartment is beautiful, the view is just stunning and the proximity to the shops and beach made the holiday so easy. We particularly loved the window seat in the lounge. It’s unusual to find a three-bed property where all the bedrooms are a decent size, and two of them look out to the beach. We also appreciated the two en-suites plus large family bathroom. The apartment is incredibly well equipped, the beds are extremely comfortable and the whole apartment was just spotless. We also lo...more
This is our third stay at Cliff House which speaks for itself. Wonderful position , the property is described & the parking access explained exactly as you will find it. Home from home with everything you could possibly need . We had a magnificent time with our request of a ten day stay granted , even getting an unexpected change of linen mid way into our stay , which was most welcome. Holiday Home Hunter gave a friendly, professional service , as always , I have already made enquiries about a return visit next year. Definitely Recommend this property , but not the week want it !
It was lovely to be overlooking the sea and such comfortable surroundings. Wonderful place to spend a holiday. I can definitely recommend it to others.
This house was described as 'insane' by our teenagers - which is probably as good as it gets in the world of teenage compliments. The words fabulous and luxurious come to mind and the location is unbeatable. Within minutes from the from door we were in the surf and a only short sprint to the hot tub with a beer or prosecco at the end of the day. The town is equally close and the car stayed parked all week other than for a rib ride trip in Ilfracombe. The house itself is beautifully decorated and furnished with all you could need and incredibly warm and dry considering the high ceilings and the...more
Just returned from a lovely stay at The Beach House, Woolacombe, this was a second visit to a great house in a stunning location. Once again it didn't fail to impress us very clean and modern with everything provided. We've already booked a return visit.
The apartment is in the most fantastic location. It is so comfortable and was clean and fresh when we arrived. There were fresh muffins left for us and some milk in the fridge which was lovely after a long journey.
This property is just outstanding. Always spotlessly clean and comfortable. It has everything needed for a special family holiday. The best point has to got to be the position of the property. It has breathtaking views above the beach, and is just a few, well 109 steps, to the nearest beach! And a few steps more to another. Easy access to the town and main beach. Got to be the best property we have stayed in!
'Shall we go down the pub and watch the football?’ asked my son ‘it’s open until 5am’ 'I can’t Charlie’, I replied, ‘because I’ve heard that they’ve run out of Guinness 00 again and I need to drive to Woolacombe at 6 in the morning’ ‘Why are you going so early?’ he asked, you can’t get into the apartment until 4 o’clock’. ‘I know son, but that’s not the point- we always go at silly o’clock so that I don’t have to spend 5 hours looking at Stonehenge’ ‘Fair point’ he agreed ‘but you know that Mum won’t be ready until about 730 anyway?’ He was right of course. The Missus, as is her wan...more
This apartment has great views and is just a few minutes walk to the sea and the village. We enjoyed our stay.
Perfect location on the Seafront with spectacular Sunsets from the Balcony Onsite parking very useful Admin and booking process very good As a Penthouse the Stairs may be a problem for some
We have stayed previously at this fabulous apartment and it didn’t disappoint again. Amazing location, lovely outdoor spaces, very clean with full kitchen facilities if required.
We have enjoyed many lovely stays in Overcombe. The views are superb and it is well positioned for walking into Woolacombe village and along the SW Coast path. It is cosy even when the weather is inclement and is well equipped.
Wonderful beach view. Easy access to beach & shops/ restaurants. 2 flights of stairs to apartment. No balcony. Communal garden area with seating & table.
Great position, great views, right near town and eating places. In all a great place to stay we have been staying there every year since it was re built and have booked for next year. Go have a great time.
Excellent stay for families. Plenty of room for everyone with a large enclosed garden with resident rabbit! Very well placed near to shops and beaches with beautiful views over Woolacombe beach. Cot and highchair can be available for the stay and very nice welcome pack waiting for you. It’s our second stay and have provisionally booked for next year.
We first stayed here 10 years ago and several times since and the views are still amazing, we do however feel that after 10 years a few things need updating if these were sorted we'd have no hesitation staying here again.
Perfect location, comfortable clean accommodation, very helpful and lots of helpful information
Ivycott had everything we needed and more!! Beautiful home in a great location. Lovely big secure garden which our dog loved . Lovely walk down to Woolacombe from the property but as owners state it’s not for the faint hearted, especially walking back but we throughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be returning.
Loved the place we last stopped here 40 years ago when it was the little beach hotel, went back to celebrate our 40th anniversary
Old Bakery Cottage is a fantastic holiday location for all ages. With views over the sea from the dining area and sun terrace, a lovely big living area, and within minutes of the stunning Mortehoe headland it cannot be beaten. The delightful village itself with its museum and a number of eateries has all that you could want. If your party contains youngies, then the beautiful sands of Woolacombe are only minutes away. Exmoor walks, gems such as Lynton and Lynemouth and RHS Rosemoor are all within easy striking range. We shall be returning.
A rodent appeared a few times on the patio. The Owners I am sure will deal with this problem..............
The apartment is very spacious and we loved the terrace with the view. We liked being a short walk from the village and beach. We had everything we needed and made use of the outside tap. We hope to return. Thank you
The Lookout was all that we hoped it would be for a weeks holiday in Woolacombe, the location and quality was perfect for a special family gathering that included our one year old grandson. Very clean, ease of parking and great views across the beach from the lounge, balcony and hot tub made for a very enjoyable stay. Holiday Home Hunters were great communicators and very helpful when contacting them for a small query that we had - would recommend!
Stayed for 4 nights, we were lucky with the weather, but with the views from the bay window, the stay would have been great anyway. Good sized living room and kitchen, there were only 2 of us, but space for more. Board storage in the shed was a bonus. Great place, we will be back
We’ve had another lovely holiday at Belmont Court - everything is catered for, clean, bright, fresh and beautiful. Lovely comfy beds, great showers, lovely kitchen with all facilities, great washer dryer and lovely little patio with a sea view. It’s right across the road from the sea so the dogs enjoyed their morning stroll on the grass by the esplanade. It’s also all on one level so was great for my dad who has mobility issues and I easily pushed the wheelchair from here to town - the kids loved the proximity to the beach and the shops. It’s perfect really - we’ve tried other places but we sh...more
Fourth family holiday now in Woolacombe….have stayed in a variety of holiday rentals. I’d certainly recommend Holiday Home Hunter as the service was excellent. No 6 is a great place to stay….good location and comfortable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Honeysuckle Cottage. It is in a great location near to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe. It is a home from home with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was also so lovely to wake to to hear lambs bleating in the morning. Would highly recommend this spacious getaway.
The outstanding feature for this flat was the view through the patio doors. Unfortunately, the glazing had blown which was disappointing. The fridge fell forward if too much weight in the front, some cupboards didn't have handles which proved awkward to open, poor quality mattresses and four flights of stairs to get to the property. The toilets wobbled, the seal on the shower doors had broken and generally looked like it needed a spruce up throughout. The carbon monoxide tester was beeping when we arrived and TV remote control batteries needed replacing. Compared to other holiday lets in the a...more
Our first visit to Lower Deck but we have stayed a few doors away on many occasions. Very straightforward layout with views through the patio door towards Woolacombe. Ideal location for walks along the coastline. Essential items provided although very basic, addition of two or three other items would be welcome such as clothes dryer, soap dishes in the en-suite shower.
In a great location, comments from booking do state that the accommodation is on the tired side but would still expect certain standards to be met, the beds and bedding need replacing; we suffered with the mattresses and left the day before our last night. Gorgeous view but we had to clean the windows to see it. Also, owner is expecting builders imminently which we were told about a week before our holiday so no other option but to continue with our stay, lots of tooing and froing with emails, they turned up 8am on our first morning but then thankfully didn't return. We love Woolacombe and w...more
