We had a wonderful week here. We were made to feel most welcome by Neil and Tracie the owners. Very dog friendly. I would highly recommend this cottage and the company we booked through.
Oak Tree Cottage was one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Really well equipped and comfortable and dogs are very well catered for. Everything, from the field for dogs and warm outdoor shower, dog bed and the shared grass area at the back for morning and late night wees was brilliant. The doggy and human welcome packs were a nice touch. The kitchen was very well equipped and the whole cottage was well presented and very clean. The location was great, close to many dog friendly beaches and the Broads. Cromer was only a half hour’s drive away. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come b...more
Brian’s cottage is in a beautiful location, overlooking golden fields over which the sun sets every day. The cottage and the garden are both meticulously maintained with such a lot of attention to detail. The inside of the cottage is so well equipped, there’s nothing that hasn’t been thought of for both humans and dogs. The owners, Liz and Tim, are so welcoming and have thought of everything. The cottage was spotlessly clean when we arrived, which is very reassuring during these worrying times. We couldn’t have asked for more, thank you.
We had a wonderful weeks holiday 3 generations 11,12,62,79 and 82 plus 3 dogs, the cottage was lovely and had everything we could possibly needand things we han't realised we wanted. The welcome package for humans and dogs were brilliant so thoughtful. The atmosphere was very peaceful and lovely to sit out on the patio and the fenced off paddock for the dogs to run about in is great, wish we had one close by at home.... We used Cart cap beach as we found it was the easiest for those of us slightly more unstable on our feet to go down to. Also the beach is very dog friendly (although ours ...more
This cottage is beautiful and is the best equipped cottage we had ever stayed in. The quality of the figments and fixtures large and small was so impressive. It is as though the owners chose things that they would like. The welcome pack included Prosecco, home made marmalade and dog biscuits. The owners are lovely and so welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the various seating areas and a dip in the hot tub that you can hire from an local firm for your stay- the orchard was favourite! The dogs loved their stay. The cottage is minutes from a dog friendly beach. We would highly recommend...more
We loved our stay at Victoria cottage. So clean and everything we needed was provided. More than dog friendly!!! The owners were so lovely and made us so welcome and lent us some cooling dog vests as the weather was so hot. Most dog friendly holiday we have been on and will be booking again in the future.
The property itself is absolutely beautiful and you wouldn't know how welcoming they are to dogs! Everything was spotless, the owners were lovely when we met them and we had everything we needed. Its such a beautiful area and what a bonus to have a beautiful hot tub to enjoy it from. Can't recommend it enough!
Plenty of room for four adults, two big children and three dogs. Great location, so close to Happisburgh beach and a little walk to the local shop/post office, chippy and pub. Facilities are brilliant, the garden secure and large. Cozy, fresh and bright. Would definitely make a bee line to return. Sue at East Ruston always delivers and the quality and cleanliness is always unrivalled. A big thumbs up from us all.
The Crib is the best dog friendly cottage we have stayed at .Our 2 greyhounds loved the garden .The location in the lovely village of Happisburgh is ideal,5 minutes walk from the beach and cliff top walks.Loved it so much we have already booked 3 weeks next year.
We have had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage in Norfolk. We did not want for anything and was very fortunate to have some great weather. The dogs had a wonderful time in the very secure garden and we spent most of our evenings barbecuing and sitting out in the courtyard. There are some lovely places to visit and the broads are only a short drive away. We would thoroughly recommend and we will certainly return again.
This is a gorgeous barn with everything you will need for your holiday. The garden is lovely and very dog friendly. The location is perfect with walks from the doorstep as well as a short drive away.
Best holiday cottage location we have experienced to date, that said, Hidden Gem had so much more to offer than just the location. It is the first holiday let where we have wanted for nothing in terms of everything you could possibly want in a holiday cottage was to hand, from kitchen tin foil, to a beach windbreak. Lovely small sheltered back garden to grab some afternoon relaxation time with a book and a cold drink. The attention to detail with the interior decor and maritime theme was amazing. We would definitely stay again. A most appropriately named property.
We have just returned from a week at the beautiful Heather cottage. To be on holiday with our dog when he is as welcome as we are has been joyful. The cottage had everything for him and us. Morning walks on the beach have been glorious. We have met so many dog friends out and about and it has been paradise for us and our dog.
A very well equipped, clean and welcoming cottage with lovely comfy beds for us humans. Very dog friendly with a good safe outside space and dog beds & throws provided. The welcome packs for both us and our dogs were very nice and well thought out, providing everything we needed on arrival and a few treats too. Lauren and her family were very welcoming, provided advice on some local walks and were on hand & readily helped when we needed them. We'll definitely be returning to this cottage.
What a fantastic week we had staying at Skylark! This chalet is literally 90 seconds from the sand dunes and the area really is dog heaven! Skylark was spotlessly clean, bright, comfortable and a lovely place to stay. We followed one of the walks in the welcome folder and visited the ruins of a 12th century church, taking in some wonderful Norfolk countryside en route and called in at the dog-friendly Dunes cafe for drinks and a snack whilst looking out over the sea. We also had lunch outside at the Fisherman’s Retreat one day which was great - fab menu with vegetarian and vegan choices as wel...more
Beautiful & Relaxing sums up this place. Just back from a week in the wonderful Thatchers Cottage, a delightful and spacious house in stunning landscaped gardens. Everyone had a wonderful time including our four french bulldogs who just loved doing zoomies up, down and around the massive lawn. Im sure we will visit again, so much to do in the area too with the beach a 5 min walk away and only a short drive to other local attractions. Superb !
A last minute break which was lovely after lockdown. Great walks on the doorstep, great pubs & beaches within easy reach & a lovely big garden for the dogs to run around in!
Amazing stay at st Benets for the second year in a row, beautiful house, amazing weather, perfect location. Will definitely be returning.
What a lovely cottage - not only clean and spacious but also with all of those extras that make it easy to go on holiday with multiple dogs - dog bowls, towels, throws. The welcome pack was the icing on the cake. Ideally situated for the many wonderful beaches as well as nearby towns providing something for children and dogs - and the great dog friendly pub in walking distance for the grown ups after a busy day
We enjoyed a wonderful week at Ollands Farm Barn (two adults and one very large greyhound). The accommodation is quirky, as are most barn conversions, and the paddle stairs add to the character. You are welcomed with a basket of goodies, including their award-winning marmalade and delicious shortbread. The garden and courtyard are lovely as well as being dog-friendly and dog-safe - although our greyhound, as do most, preferred the comfort of the large sofas (throws provided by Ollands Farm Barn). The owners, Kim and Mary Ann live next door, in Ollands Farm, but they don't intrude - however, th...more
This no frills, basic little cottage is in an ideal quiet village with a great secure garden for the dogs. It was clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you would expect. It is showing signs of wear and tear, particularly in the bathroom, but it was clean and so not an issue for us. The kitchen was well equipped and the garden has table and chairs that capture the sun in the evening. The Wifi speed was also pretty good. We found the village to be friendly and the location great for exploring. The local shop was a great convenience and the local pub, although only partially open du...more
We enjoyed a beautiful weekend at 1 Chapel Cottage. It had everything we needed for a fun filled yet relaxed weekend away.
I've stayed in countless cottages in Norfolk over the past ten years with my lovely spaniel and The Lodge at East Ruston has certainly been the most dog friendly. The garden is secure and private with wire fencing underneath tall laurels. There is a hot and cold dog shower outside too. The flooring inside was nice and cool and easy to keep clean. There were spare poo bags, water bowls, towels and a dog bed. The welcome hamper was fantastically generous and included some dog treats. The Lodge is well located for trips to the seaside and equally convenient for the Broads. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely time at this barn lovely location really nice inside had everything you could need. Garden secure for the dogs they thought it was great very comfortable will be going back next year.
Great holiday brilliant location 2 minute walk to a fantastic quiet beach,5 minutes to the pochers pocket..Very enjoyable holiday
We had a fantastic stay at Badgers Retreat, the hosts Ruchard and Terri are wonderful people who can not do enough for you. A very friendly welcome to this lovely little cottage. Perfect for any length of stay especially if you have any pets. The location is very central for venturing North or South along the Norfolk coastline. We will definitely use the accomadation again and we have no problem in reccomending it to anyone. To conclude we had a great time here, very comfortable surroundings and excellent for my dog.
Super dog friendly wrap around garden with good local walks. Large rooms, so plenty of space for families. Skylights meant lovely starry nights visible from bedrooms. Unfortunately the Hill House inn had not opened again for our week, although now open. Was lovely on previous visit to Happisburgh. However had a very good and socially distanced meal at the Lighthouse at Walcott, so well worth a visit.
Still a lovely and magical place and setting but this time there were some issues. What we think was a Welcome Pack consisted of 2 unadorned sponges one stacked on the other without filling in-between, a half used carton of milk, use by date 3/7/20! and a pack of teabags. Would probably have been better not to have bothered. Last time we were here we had the use of an aging but adequate BBQ, but this time were left a note saying it was unavailable as it had not been cleaned - though there was plenty of notice of our booking (about 12 months). We cleaned the BBQ only to find that one burner ...more
