Exceeelent great garden for the dogs, pub short walk, dog friendly and beach short walk away. Local shop and fish and chips 5 mins away.
The Walnut is lovely, having only been there half an hour we had decided we needed to book another week! Excellent cottage, lovingly decorated and laid out with beautiful views across the fields and a hot tub to relax in. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Can’t wait to visit again soon
Victoria Cottage is so beautifully decorated I wanted to take all the ideas home, our bedroom was sumptuous. We were truly relaxed having our dog there, so many dog friendly booking then say no dogs upstairs this does not work for us. The basket of towels for dogs a great idea, fortunately we did not need them as we had no rain. We appreciated the food goodies there on our arrival, the local farm shop marmalade was delicious. The cottage a was so warm, we did light the fire twice but had to let is go out as it was too hot! We enjoyed a good walk into Happisburg and found the people in t...more
What a lovely cottage, warm and cosy, very well equipped, great location for walks from the door and the brilliant Star Pub just across the fields.
Always enjoy our stay at Hidden Gem So relaxing and the dogs just love the beach walks The cottage is very well stocked with everything needed for a stress free break
We had a wonderfull weeks stay. Our every , thats the pooches too, need catered for. Lots of lovely walks straight from the property and so great to come back to such a lovely warm house, finding snug pubs that welcomed our hounds was an added bonus. Although we only live just an hour down the road it was a perfect getaway for us and we are lookinf forward to a return visit.
A perfect way to spend Christmas is not an understatement. With two teenagers, a hard to please husband and two lurches, it is sometimes a big ask to please all of the people all of the time. But, White Cottage exceeded our expectations; it was comfortable, clean and incredibly homely. Everything we needed and more, plus everything for the pooches laid on too. Would recommend without hesitation
We stayed for a week in January and had a pleasant and peaceful time there. The house was well stocked and was always warm as the boiler is always on.
We had such a lovely time. It was a real treat arriving to a beautifully decorated cottage. Lots of tasty treats had been left for humans and dogs. It was warm and cosy and there was plenty of hot water for the amazing shower. Cooking was a pleasure as the kitchen is so well equipped. We were close to some great beaches which meant the dogs got to have a run on a beach every day, including Christmas Day. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.
We had a lovely weekend in Happisburgh staying at the Crib. It a very clean well equipped property in a good location. The Hill pub just up the end of the village was so dog friendly and with good homemade food, we were made to feel very welcome. It is a shame that you can not access the beach from the village, like we did a couple of years ago, due to the coastal erosion.
Thatchers is a wonderful house , cosy but spacious. We had the most wonderful time , the house, garden & situation were perfect for 9 of us and our dogs! Arriving alone at dusk to xmas lights & the heating on, homemade cake and fizz was so welcoming especially as I was spending the first night alone with just me and my dogs. I can’t recommend the house and East Rushton cottages enough. Thank you , we will be back.
Heather Cottage is a wonderful place to stay for a cosey break. We were 4 adults and 1 dog, who also really enjoyed his stay. Lots of lovely long walks along the amazing clean coastline - amazing part of the UK. There was a lovely welcoming pack on our arrival for the adults and dog. Our stay was very memorable and we hope to visit again sometime soon...
Lovely brief stay at Wind in the willows. Our dog loved staying with us! Everything we needed was provided, lovely peaceful location.
Our second time in Rooster Barn, and our first New Year, we were a little nervous about bringing a 5 month puppy. However, the facilities of the Barn were second to none for both humans and puppy, who settled in very well. We spent the week walking around Trunch and to neighbouring villages, going to the beach and enjoying the log fire, as well as festive food and drink. The Barn was a perfect space for a puppy’s first time away from home because of the space available, and the layout - both house and garden were manageable for keeping an eye, without having to lock him in a cage when we we...more
As always a pleasure to stay in another of the east Ruston cottages ,shame it was only for the weekend as we all would have loved it to be longer ,especially the dogs, walks around the fields and along the beaches ,drop in at the local pub for a drink and a bite to eat then back to the cottage to snuggle in for a sleep with mum and dad. The cottage has a wonderful kitchen and is decorated well through out and as always is very dog friendly ,garden was good and will be a nice place to sit when the weather has warmed up. Love the area, love the people (so friendly) can't say anything bad ab...more
We all (two adults, three dalmatians and an Irish Red & White Setter) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Badger's Retreat. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, warm and well appointed; in fact the sofas were so comfortable we wondered if anyone would notice if we strapped them on the roofrack! There were good walks nearby to exercise the dogs before breakfast, giving us time to plan the rest of our day at our leisure. The garden was secure (for dogs that don't jump; I imagine the 3-foot wall at the front would be no problem for some!) so the dogs could wander in and out without us having to wo...more
Had a lovely few days away in a truly dog friendly place. So nice that it is set up to totally accept dog not just tolerate them. All made for a really relaxing stay.
We had a lovely week's holiday over Christmas at Farthing Cottage in Trunch, Norfolk. This was our second visit to the cottage but it was our first visit to Norfolk in the winter. The cottage was perfect, very clean and welcoming and was very tastefully decorated for Christmas. There were even lots of presents from the cottage owners and the cottage company for our 2 Boxer dogs, a very nice gesture and much appreciated! There was also a nice bottle of Prosecco and a cake for us! There are good dog walks around the village of Trunch and brilliant beach walks not too far away. Trunch has a good ...more
This is a great cottage and garden for the dogs. Only suggestion is that the carpets are a little tired and could do with replacing to also remove rugs as trip hazards. That aside you will not regret hiring this cottage for your 2 and 4 legged family
This is third or 4th time of visiting this property and is ideal for the beach , we had 7 adults and 4 dogs and plenty of room for everyone. We had 4 cars with us and managed to park 3 on the drive and the 4th was ok on road outside.
Nice place ,will recommend to friends ,lovely close to beaches ,dogs loved it.will be back to Norfolk soon
