This has to be the most beautifully equipped cottage we have stayed in out of many places we have visited over the 10 years we've been coming to Norfolk. The Forge is small but perfectly formed as they say! The kitchen is as least as well equipped as our home kitchen with plenty of cutlery and crockery even though it is only designed for 2 people.
The bedroom is spacious with plenty of storage and a small ensuite bathroom,
For the dogs there was a big pile of toys and treat, beds and bowls and towels. We didn't actually need any of these because we brought our own but if we'd forgotten anything (which sometimes happens) everything we needed was there.
The dogs enjoyed sitting outside in the small enclosed garden which also included a useful retractable washing line where I could dry the dogs' towels after they'd had a shower. Yes, the warm dog shower is a big bonus that we didn't expect to need till the dogs found somethinig smelly on the beach to rollover in!.
Lauren, the owner was extremly helpful in all our communications and provided a very substantial welcome food pack. The online welcome information pack was also very useful and handy to to access via smartphone whilst out and about.
All in all this was the best place we've stayed and I heartily recommend it.

We have just had a great week at The Forge with our dog. Accommodation was first class, well equipped and had everything needed to make our stay very comfortable. The welcome pack for us and a separate one for our dog was excellent.
Lauren’s suggested itinerary was brilliant and very useful and helped us find lots of lovely dog friendly beaches in the area.
If you are looking for dog friendly accommodation in Norfolk we would recommend here.

Hadn’t holidayed with both of our GSD before but this was the perfect place to stay.
Accomodation and ameneties were to such a high standard with everything you could possibly need.
The addition of a secure field to use throughout the stay was so welcome and lovely walks direct from the door.
Would love to stay again soon and would highly recommended, the owners were lovely and communicative before and during the stay when we reached out to them.

A fabulous holiday cottage, even better than the photos .
