We are regular victors as a family to The Bay, Filey each year. However, this was our first time at Bumblebee Cottage. We are a family of 4, with 2 young children. The home was exactly as seen in the pictures. Clean throughout and the decor providing a cosey, warm and modern home from home experience. We had everything we needed as a family. Lots of books, games and films for the kids as well as the adults. Sitting out in the garden is very private and we enjoyed sitting out in the sun eating as a family. Terri’s retreat is an absolute fabulous find. Immaculately presented with everything you need for a great holiday. There’s nothing that hasn’t been thought of It really was home from home even down to a ninja double airfryer. The apartment has been finished off to a high standard but it’s still very homely. A comfy bed too. I would definitely recommend this accommodation and look forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful time myself&my hubby and our 3 children and our labradoodle From the moment of booking right to the very end of our stay the customer service was brilliant. We were kept informed of everything we needed to know. The house was spotless and plenty of room for us all to have a relaxing holiday, well equipped with everything we needed, the air fryer was great and the large fridge freezer so good for families. Cottage was perfect for a family of 7 . Clean with everything available. Table outside the French doors lovely too. Had numerous clear emails and texts with all the info needed. 5 mins walk from beach, swimming pool was fab, played tennis, table tennis and my daughter did one of the activities which was good value for money. Only thing that let it down ( which isn’t the cottage owners fault ) is the service at the pub. Food on the second night took going on 2 hours. Our first time booking through Anchor Bay Holidays and really impressed. Apartment Laguz was on the top floor. Spacious, comfortable, good views. Great features - double oven/microwave, fridge, TV in lounge and main bedroom, lovely bathroom. Pet-free which is important for us. Super location for seafront/amusements as well as for town, and walks (we walked up to the North Bay and around by the castle, also along Marine Drive to Sealife Centre and Peasholm Park). Loved the clean, cosy apartment in a great location near the beach. The apartment had all the amenities necessary for a lovely break near to Filey & other coastal resorts. Liked the comfortable bed, powerful shower and the central location near the leisure pool.
I was visiting family in the local area and this apartment was a perfect base. It was easy to book and all correspondence was very clear and informative. The apartment is well furnished. It was very clean and very comfortable. There is easy parking and as a female travelling alone I felt very safe. I would recommend the apartment and the bay site in general to anyone looking for accommodation.
We have been staying in various houses on The Bay for over ten years and this was by far the best equipped with equipment in the kitchen. The space worked well for 2 adults, 3 teens and a dog. We hope to stay there again.

A wonderful apartment that truly is a home from home. Everything you need has been thought of. Nice little touches such as a tray with tea, coffee and biscuits. Dog treats which Buddy Bear enjoyed. I can’t wait to book this little slice of happiness again.
Dudley's Retreat is a wonderful apartment on The Bay. We have stayed in a number of properties there and this is by far our favourite. Check in and pre-information was clear and concise. The attention to detail is excellent with all the cooking equipment you could need. It was super clean when we arrived and everything you need to keep it that way is in the apartment. All linen and bedding was great quality and the wifi is also excellent if anyone needed to work. This has genuinely been really well thought out for their guests and is a credit to the owners. Had a fabulous stay at the Life of Filey. Great location, clean, well equipped and comfortable. Grandchildren were able to play safely on the well maintained open grass area to the rear of the property. Great place for kids and adults alike. Great value for money. Would recommend this place to family and friends.
We had another absolutely wonderful stay at this weekend holiday home and can’t recommend it highly enough. This was our second visit and it was just as fantastic as the first. The house was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable break. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway, and the attention to detail throughout the property really makes it feel like a home away from home. This was our second time staying in Willow Cottage. After 2years the property was as nice as the first time. A very comfortable cottage with lovely beds and the living room furniture very good. Good communication from Anchor holidays. Location a short walk to the bus stops were you can travel to Bridlington. Filey and Scarborough.
We had a lovely Easter holiday stay in this delightful cottage. It is large and well-equipped. Location was excellent and the pool and gym were well used by adults and kids. We enjoyed a petanque championship with the set of balls from the cottage, and lots of family game nights. Lots of nice walks and runs along the beach and cliff tops and we had days out in York and Whitby. We loved the Bay and this house in particular, and kids are already asking if we can return in the summer.
We’ve been to The Bay a few times now and this was one of the best houses we’ve stayed in. Location is spot on, right on the last row before the beach! House was beaut, I noticed before we went they there has been a refurb of the kitchen and bathroom a few years ago, only thing missing was washing machine, probs more beneficial during summer months especially with trips to the beach. We had a fab week away when we stayed at ‘Anchor at the bay’. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything you could ever need. The patio doors opened onto a lovely grassed area for quickly letting the dog onto but 5 minutes round the corner was the wildflower meadow and the lake that we walked round too. Beach access was great. We also did archery which was great fun even though it got a bit competitive . Highly recommend Anthony and Anchor Bay Holidays
High Tide Cottage at The Bay is perfectly located for us. The house was very clean, spacious, a lovely welcome pack with tea, milk and cookies etc. we booked through Anchor Bay Holidays and have done before, the communication is good. We caught the bus to Scarborough, bus stop just outside The Bay. You can walk along the beach to Filey and other places. Will definitely be staying there again.
Lovely place to stay very clean good accommodation very quiet everything you need and parking just off from our stay all well lit and clean a shop on site which is well stocked and some lovely areas to walk around only thing I think lets it down is the on sight bar very expensive and food not very good given it’s central position it should pull in people we have booked for September too so looking forward to coming back to Filey lovely place

The beach house is in a great location just minutes from the sports complex, pub and shop. We really like the fact that the deck was secured so that our dogs can come in and out. The kitchen is well stocked and the furniture is comfortable. We will definitely be staying again soon.
We have stayed at the Bay Filey before so knew the location was good. Starfish Shack was very comfortable, warm and well warm equipped. We would have no hesitation in staying at Starfish Shack again.
The lodge is very nice, the bed and furniture are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped.. There are games and 2 boxes of dvds, the Tv can get lots of apps but unfortunately not now tv ( we would have liked to watch sky sports). We had a brilliant time and wanted to stay an extra night so I phoned and spoke to a very friendly lady called Laura who let us stay for a reasonable price. We’ve stayed at the bay numerous times and it’s a modern development but it’s getting on a bit. As such sometimes you can pick fault with some tired parts in properties but the wagging wave is spot on. Decorated nicely, and consistently throughout. Great shower and a bath in a decent sized bathroom. The single beds were big enough for adults and the beds as a whole were comfortable. Paddy's Corner was the perfect choice yor our family. The property was extremely clean, comfortable and in a great location on the site. Handy for leisure pool, pub and shop. The area was very quiet day and night which meant a nice restful few days holiday. We would certainly recommend and will stay again. Warren Gray
We was impressed from the moment we pulled up, car space is tarmac now. Access into the property can take wheelchair. All bedrooms had en-suite, tv, and access to veranda. All amenities close by, Onsite shop is dear but other shops nearby. Pubs and restaurants in easy commute.
Very comfortable holiday lodge in good position for amenities and beach. Close to good road networks to Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington.
Lovely house in a quiet location on The Bay development. The house was in excellent condition and very clean. The development allows quick access to the beach for wonderful walks.

We really enjoyed our stay at Monty's Maison. It is a great place to stay and the central location was perfect.
This apartment is ideal for me and my 2 young boys, it feels so comfortable and spacious and of course the huge TV helps. We’ve stayed 4 times in 6 months and are already thinking of our next visit. Highly recommend for everyone.

Lovely cottage, spotless & equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great location in the village with outside seating on both sides of the cottage so we could always sit outside in the sun! Just a short walk to Filey beach & we used the swimming pool on site every day. We would definitely return & stay here again.

Thanks to Anthony and his team for allowing me to turn up a year late! Illness prevented us staying last year and it was lovely to be able to move the booking. Absolutely loved the apartment and the Bay is a gem, especially with all the new landscaping and the coastal path. Our walk to Reighton Sands and back along the cliff path was especially memorable. Everything was great in the apartment and thank you for your kind attention to detail before, during and after my stay. There was 4 adults and 2 children. We had a lovely weekend at Dragonfly Cottage. It is situated on the first road as you enter the site. It has great size bedrooms with 2 double and twin bedrooms also bunk beds with a single. All Very clean. The kitchen is a good size with two fridges. Which is very handy. The lounge is probably the only thing I would say is slightly small for the furniture but the three settee's are needed for the amount of people it sleeps. Beautiful cottage , very bright open plan property , large windows letting the light in , two lovely bedrooms , will be looking at going in the summer when you can open the bi-folding doors and enjoy the outdoor seating areas more .

We have stayed at Honeybee Cottage before and at the Bay several times so the children feel at home immediately. The cottage is ideally placed and is well stocked with everything you need for a great break.

The Tidal Shack is a great place to stay when visiting the East Coast, the property is spacious and very comfortable, it's very clean and is kitted out with every thing you need either for just a weekend away, or a two week holiday. I would defiantly recommend staying here, I know we will be staying again.
We loved our stay! Brilliant to be able to use the pool and we booked a tennis court too. The Bay is a great base for exploring the coast.
We had a fantastic stay at Shell Cottage, Bay Filey. Close to amenities, Scarborough, Filey and Bridlington which were all lovely to visit and it was a bonus the weather was on our side! The only downsides to our stay were the cutlery (the large knives were unusable due to being blunt), the lack of toilet roll provided for a 4-night stay and the creaking of the floor boards on the stairs and bedrooms. Stayed on the site before. Lodge lovely, could do with shower base having a good clean, and ornaments want a bust or wash. Overall property very well equipped and comfortable. Would stay again.

Beautiful lodge. Lovely to have the view over the lake and to watch the wildlife. Showers have good power and the one is large which is good for people with mobility issues. Well decorated and maintained, lovely and clean. Parking just one lodge over. EV charge also close The site is well looked after, nice green areas and no litter. The swimming pool was clean and pleasant temperature. The pub was a 5 Minute walk away. Great stay, will hopefully be back.
We've stayed in many cottages at the bay over the last 5 years and are never disappointed. Home from home quality. I wrote a couple of repairs needed in the comments book only to help the next person to have a comfortable stay.
Wow Fantastic Property, Well maintained & equipped with everything you need. Onsite Pub, Restaurant, Shop, Leisure Centre & Small Arcade are only 2 doors away & beach access is only a 3 minute stroll from the property...,
Overall excellent but needed instruction books for the washing machine and the coffee machine. As models vary significantly we wasted time on how to make these work
Nothing sinister but the shower in ensuite, nowhere to hold ur toiletries, sticky dining room table and no mop, needed to mop floor had to get down on hands and knees.
We have stayed on The Bay several times but this has to be the best yet.The cottage was excellent and well presented.The owners have clearly spent a lot of time and effort decorating the property to such a high standard as everything matched. We enjoyed the feature fireplace and the bedroom fitted wardrobe. Everything you could possibly need was provided and the cul de sac was quiet with parking outside which made life easier.Thank you Anthony and your Team we look forward to our next stay. One word describes it ‘Brilliant’.

A lovely property in an ideal position with high class fitments throughout. The property has a true home from home feeling with an open plan design with lots of light flooding in from the large 3 bay windows. We were lucky to have excellent weather having breakfast on the patio was outstanding. The bedrooms were large and very comfy. All in all the house is a credit to the owners. The parking area is a little tight for two family cars outside but there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. Highly recommended
Great little place, a real gem, spacious and well facilitated set within a secure gated section(fob access). Comfy with all the bedrooms en suite, great outdoor decked areas with furniture, has a really nice ambience. Only slight observation wish the fob to that gate entry could be collected from reception.
We had a great long weekend at Echo beach, the house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, Also a great location right next to the park, would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.
A lovely beach house in a good position. Be careful of the walk-in shower in the main en-suite, even after a very quick shower it floods the bathroom - the water gets worryingly close to the bedroom carpet! We ended up not using it again for fear of flooding the bedroom and used the much smaller shower in the 2nd bedroom. The main king-size bed is very low down and also has a very soft mattress. This is our second stay in a property managed by Anchor bay holidays, (different properties) I can say that communication is excellent emails and countdown reiterating information is spot on. The property Bay Break was clean tidy and had everything our party needed for a comfortable and cosy break. Although this property is quite near reception so further from the beach walk didn't impact on our stay. The bedroom that we occupied with en-suit facilities was comfortable and compact the radiator was not turned on in the en-suit and the valves had been shut so it wasn't possible to switch it on. ...more
Stayed over Christmas whilst visiting family and it was perfect. A very spacious and comfortable cottage for 3 adults and 2 children, with very comfy beds. Had everything we needed and customer services was great with clear instructions. We would definitely stay there again.
Kibble tree is a lovely little cottage not too far from sewerby. Very peaceful and with everything you need for a stay.
The cottage is lovely and located in a quiet part of the bay. It is very well equipped with things that make your stay easier - kitchen utensils, towels, cleaning products, hair dryers, iron, umbrellas, games etc. Only thing missing is a storage caddy within the en suite shower enclosure. Amenities at the bay such as the pool, bar, cafe and shop are only a short walk away. Nearby beaches are beautiful and easy to get to.
We loved our short stay at the Bay Dream. Clean, comfortable home, well equipped and ideal for a young family. Only one slight negative was the state of the duvet in one of the bedrooms. It really could do with replacing. Otherwise our stay at Bay Dream was a lovely, refreshing break.
The accommodation was excellent and the house was very well equipped. The size of the property was impressive and our party of 4 adults 2 children and the 2 dogs never felt under each other's feet.
Very nice house had all that we needed, clean, Had a great weekend with family, I would only say that I stay a lot in Filey first time in this house, no welcome pack, may be something that could be done, especially when can’t book in till after 4, just want to get in and relax without thinking about some essentials, but a lovely clean house.
We can recommend Snowdrop Cottage, having recently had an enjoyable winter break at this holiday home. There is everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Also, if you do encounter any difficulties, on-site maintenance is absolutely superb.

Nice property. Would stay again. We had to clean a few cups and the trays etc in the oven weren't clean but the rest of the property was very clean. We just bleached the cups and left a note that we hadn't used the oven equipment. Beds were more comfortable than the other properties we have stayed at on The Bay (we go at least once a year). First time in 10 years we didn't go in the pub! 2 reasons, 1- it was full of groups who were loud and not in control of their kids and 2 - over £7 for a pint and the service isn't that good. The apartment was really lovely Very comfortable Had all the amenities we needed. In a very good location Very clean and if a good standard. Except the main bling in the bedroom opened up but we could not shut it. It was also really dirty and full of dust. The blind in the kitchen was also really dirty, covered in grease and dust too. Other than that it was lovely.
The property was well positioned but needed upgrading and cleaning properly. The twin bedroom was particularly unclean as were the windows. The sofa was uncomfortable and the kitchen table was badly positioned. The blind in the twin bedroom was broken, light streamed in through the round roof window in the main bedroom and the cafitiere was missing. The outside furniture needs replacing desperately.
Fantastic location with beautiful views. Lovely, spacious living area. We had requested a cot, however, this could not be found, we contacted a member of staff from the Anchor Bay team regarding this who rang promptly to suggest where to look. Eventually it was found it a locked cupboard. It would have been a more enjoyable, relaxing start if the cot was easier to be located. We were expecting to see a family football table as described in the advertisement, however, this was not in the property. Quiet location on site. Easy to find and plenty of parking. Main bed was very soft. Was disappointed that there were NO provisions on arrival. One dishwasher tablet for example to save us shopping on arrival no hand wash, no washing up liquid no sponge for washing up, no salt and pepper or oil. 2 light bulbs need replacing one in hall way one in main bathroom. We did enjoy our stay once had stocked up on basics!
Cottage was perfect for a short break as a family with the dog. Great location, so close to the beach and a clifftop walk. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few nights away. Good to be able to use the pool too.
Had a lovely stay here this week. Perfect location close to beach and amenities. Cottage was well equipped. Only downside was I’d recommend mattress’s to be replaced as they were well past their best. (A bit of a shame really). Sofa was very soft. You fell into it rather than sat on it. But was ok to lay on I suppose. Overall was a pleasant stay. Just trying to give an honest review.
This is a lovely cottage , but, unfortunately we didn't sleep well at all. The beds were so uncomfortable. The worst mattress we have ever slept on Rock hard. Double bed and single beds too. We all didn't sleep well, which is a real shame and it spoiled our stay. Sofas are nice but way too low down on the floor struggled getting up off it . This reflects in 1 star for comfort . No sleep and an uncomfortable sofa let's this lovely cottage down .
