This holiday home was perfect, everything from its decor, comfort, cleanliness and facillities, we could not fault it at all. Thankyou to Anchor Bay Holidays for another fantastic break.

Lovely accommodation, very clean, spotless although a little worn here and there. House was great and big enough for all 5 of us. Kitchen full of utensils and very clean oven. Love where it was close to the beach, we had great weather so spent most of the weekend there. Used the pub for meals but was a bit expensive and food just ok. Customer service was excellent and kept us informed from the moment we booked. Will be booking again. .

Fudge's Den is a great property close to the Leisure Centre and dog walking on the Meadow. It's very well equipped with cooking utensils etc although we couldn't find any kitchen scissors and the knives are all totally blunt - but I find that everywhere. The living/dining/kitchen area is spacious and TV has a mystifying amount of options. My only gripe about this great little house is that its a real squeeze to get into the en suite bathroom - and I am not a large person! The bottom of the shower door needs a good clean but aside from that we like Fudges Den and we came back for a second stay even though the repeat code didn't work. The downside last week was that the Leisure Centre closed at 16.00 every day and was also closed for lunch - it would have been nice to know that in advance but we worked around it.

Our family of four stayed at Fudges Den end of July for our summer holiday and could not have chosen a more perfect property.
The cottage is located in the ideal location close to all amenities and a short walk to the path which leads down to the beach. The property has everything you need for a long or short stay with plenty of kitchen utensils and cutlery which made cooking like you were at home. There was so much room that we never got under each others feet and the kids (and myself) loved the lounge area with the big rotating chair.
We wouldn’t hesitate in booking Fudges Den again for our next family holiday.

The property is extremely well equipped throughout. In an excellent location on The Bay The beautiful beach is only only a short walk away giving the the option to walk to Filey. We will be back !!!

The accommodation was in good condition, spacious and well equipped overall. There is plenty of seating for any sized party and even had sky sports provided. It has close proximity to the viking way, easy access to the beach and just a short drive from Filey. There were just a couple of extra small things I thought could have been provided. I would have liked a hand towel and also a fish slice in the kitchen and some hand soap in the downstairs loo. Apart from these minor points I was very happy with the standard of the property and would definitely book again.

There're a few things we like on our holiday.
A least 2 double rooms - lots of houses have a twin second but we are a party of adults and want everyone to have a double. This house is brilliant as it has 3 doubles, each with ample storage

A full fridge freezer - for easy access and more space than under counter ones. We cook a lot so it's great - the kitchen is also well equipped

A good dining table - such a good and comfortable table at Fudges Den. We had many a great meal and games evenings - there is a huge supply of games so save yourself boot space bringing any.

Walking distance to public transport and the pub - The house is in a perfect location to the beaches and bus routes. The gate behind takes you on a super walk to Humanby and Filey beach. It's a super walk along the beach to the town. The house is also brilliantly located for local buses to Bridlington and Scarborough. We ditched the car on arrival and only used it once to get to whitby.

Efficient service from AnchorBay holidays too - great guides, minimal fuss, felt I knew they would be there if we ever needed them. A very grown up approach.

Only downside we found was eating out - we struggled to find pubs /restaurants with availability where the menu was not mainly fried food. Would recommend researching and booking well in advance.
