This wasn't the most comfortable or homely stay I have had at The Bay at Filey. The apartment is very basic and not homely. I would say it is adequate, with basic seating, minimal crockery and dark furnishings, which are a little depressing. It was very clean and tidy. There was no mirror near a socket to use the hairdryer. A strong smell of curry, which after the windows were opened, still stayed unfortunately. There was a lot of flies inside this property.

Thanks for your review. We a provide crockery and glasses for 4 - this is a one bedroom apartment and as we have a dishwasher we normally hear this is enough? The flies in the area have impacted all properties and these have now gone as the temperature has cooled.

The apartment is clean, comfortable and well equipped providing a warm, relaxing space after a day out. I had been concerned about the distance to Filey but we were able to walk there on the beach each day and make use of the excellent Coaster bus service back at high tide.

Lovley location, all staff very polite, email Anthony with some questions before we went extremely helpful.
Hopefully we will be coming back soon this year.
Wish it was closer to home but the journey is worth it.
Beach not far and absolutely stunning. Not far from other amenities, with a pub and shop on site if required.

Great little place for 2, plus doggies! Clean enough, appreciated the little starter pack, too. It could do with some redecorating, freshening up, but absolutely fine for a short break

Lovely stay. Needs decorating. hard armchairs in lounge, not able to relax in evening due to sitting upright. Needs a settee. Probably not book this apartment again due to the armchairs, can not fault the holiday village. We have booked other apartments ( definitely got settees in them )

Thank you for your review - the apartment will be fully redecorated in January 2024 after the summer season. We have had a new bathroom and upgrades to other areas in the meantime. The chairs are new and are photographed and these were purchased at guest request as these are personal choice. Hope to see you again soon.

Had a fantastic time, beautiful and quiet setting. The apartment was clean and great size for a one bedroom apartment, would of preferred a firmer matterress and sofa instead of 2chairs. But that is my own personal preference. Will definitely be returning to The Bay
