Generally, the house was lovely and it fitted the bill for us, we had a nice stay.
Just a couple of things let it down:
The shower in the en suite leaked all over the floor and is tiny. There is room for a bigger shower definitely, and the leaking meant the floor was saturated. Potential for a leak through to downstairs so this definitely needs addressing.

Very warm upstairs, quite cool downstairs. Could do with it the other way around!

We moved one of the sofas forward to watch tv and found a piece of broken crockery under it. Clearly it had not been cleaned underneath and it was easy to move it so, giving the benefit of the doubt, it was maybe an oversight as the rest of the house was clean.

There was only one tea towel, which actually was not enough. This seems a bit mean really.

Anyway, generally we had a good stay and the house is nice. Shower room was an issue as slippy is dangerous.

Thank you for your lovely review and areas for improvement....... in response to your review........this was submitted 6 weeks after you stayed - we always stress to report issues whilst you are in our properties so we can rectify them for you as it is hard to do this after your stay. The shower is built in to the property - it isnt possible to make it bigger and in ten years of ownership the owners have never had this requested. We have asked the current guests and checked the doors ourselves and they do not leak - it only leaks if you dont close the door properly - which we can only assume why you had the leak............. In terms of the heating we do provide unlimited energy and the instructions in the house say to make upstairs warmer all you need do is turn the rads up upstairs and down downstairs - again you didn't contact us whilst in the property so we could have helped you? We would have provided another tea towel - but as above we couldn't because you didn't contact us. We look forward to welcoming you again - please do contact us when in the property so we can put right any issues for you. Best wishes

A lovely cottage in a great location could do with some shelving in the en-suite could not leave a review as unable to find the visitor's book. will definitely recommend to others. once again great place to relax.

Beautiful place. We love coming to the bay every year .so peaceful and beach is lovely and clean .lovely weather and first star homes to stay in
