We stayed from Friday to Monday with my elderly in-laws who have mobility issues the ramp up to the lodge made easy access for the wheelchair and the Walker.. the big walk in shower made showering a lot easier than a small cubicle. The only downside to the lodge is It has no individual parking outside like the ones around it so it made dropping off and picking up a little bit more awkward. but it didn’t spoil our weekend

Bay Breeze was perfect. The decor was lovely and it felt warm and welcoming. I would definitely stay in it again.
Not so sure about the local pub though. Friendly place but was disappointed in the food.

We weren’t originally meant to stay in Bay Breeze although after an issue with our original booking (through no fault of the owners) we were moved along to this lodge. Anthony was great in sorting out our issue and looked after us really well, couldn’t have asked for more. We had a fantastic weekend and would highly recommend Bay Breeze as a property and AB holidays to book through! Will defiantly be returning next year.

My partner and I brought our two youngest grandchildren (ages 6 and 8) to The Bay and stayed for three nights in the Bay Breeze lodge. The accommodation was first-class. Ten-out-of-ten for comfort, cleanliness, service, location and enjoyment. We found that a combination of facilities on-site, coupled with local attractions, meant that there wasn't enough hours in a day. After long-days out we were able to return to base, relax in comfort and charge our batteries ready for the next day.

Will certainly return, hopefully for a longer stay next time.

The property was satisfactory, but very expensive for basically three days: in after 4 and out before 9 on the final day.

I was very disappointed that there was no parking - next door used the two adjacent spaces at all times. I am a blue badge holder.

Getting the key was very very difficult as the key safe would not open. Also the shower door which had not been fitted properly fell on me. On the plus side the handyman quickly came round to fit the door.

Our greatest disappointment was beyond your control. The level of sewage was so great that none of our family could swim on Filey beach. All property owners must lobby the MP to stop this happening. I would advise anyone wanting a beach/sea holiday to avoid Filey.

Hi Thank you for your review. We would like to address the points you make Parking - this is first come first serve and you were able to park alongside the lodge if you chose to and put your badge on display. You didn't let us know about this issue which would have been corrected for you. When you called us about the keysafe and shower door we had a handyman round within ten minutes. The keysafe was not faulty - this was user error and and the shower door had settled due to the property settling - both items were corrected within ten minutes of your phone call showing amazing service! Value - We pride ourselves on matching and beating all other agents on the Bay - we offer a generous price and the check in times are able to be amended but you chose not to contact us........had you contacted us we could have done something about this for you even though its our busiest time of year.... In terms of the low score for the Filey beach - it is unfair to mark us down on this as you say this is outside of our control. Filey (and the part of The Bay for which the property is located) has some of the best water quality on the East coast - due only to the weather then some additional sewage was out fallen in the ten years we have owned on the Bay, we have never had this happen and doesn't normally and we have all swum in the sea fine - worth noting this was only in Filey town centre and NOT near our property. This is our second time at Bay Breeze. We are so comfortable here feels like our second home. Excellent standard of cleanliness. It’s location is perfect for exploring the East coast of Yorkshire.

A great 2 nd stay at Bay Breeze.
All as good. Clean and comfy.
Had a swim & massage at leisure centre. Very nice.

This is our 2nd visit to Bay Breeze, it's a beautiful lodge set in beautiful surroundings. It is very well equipped with all one requires to cook if needed. Beds are comfortable, bedding is spotless. Lovely decked area facing into the evening sun.
My only dissatisfaction would be to have the tub chair replaced with a more comfortable seated easy chair and a little footstool
My disabled sister found the tub chair very uncomfortable.

Great lodge, comfortable lounge area to relax in. On a quiet part of the Bay. Excellent customer service. We will definitely visit again.

I booked this lodge last minute for a weekend at the end of the holidays. I was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, the fixtures and fittings were of fantastic quality inc towels etc. You can tell the owners really look after this property it was like a home from home. It’s in a lovely quiet spot but still only a short walk to the pub etc which was great for us with a 3 year old and elderly parents. We are already planning our next visit to this gorgeous lodge. Thanks for a lovely stay x
