Had a lovely 4 night stay at the waves @ the bay, modern cottage well equipped kitchen, clean and comfortable cottage enjoyed our stay, been many times before with other companies, love it here because of the dog friendly pub with excellent food

We had a lovely stay at Waves at the Bay. Nice modern property, spacious for 3. Comfortable beds. Everything you'd need for a stay to self cater.

We had a problem with the electrics, but it was sorted quickly so no real disruption to the holiday.

Accommodation had everything we needed, it was well equipped I.e iron, air fryer etc but the house wasn’t the cleanest we’ve been in (dust in places), belongings in drawers from previous holiday stayers, pens/crayons/crumbs/wrappers under sofa/cushions etc good communication with owner from when we booked, very detailed information from owner which greatly assisted us, tidy estate - no litter around, unpredictable when the pool was open during our visit due to repairs needed but owner did offer alternative access to another pool and offered to cover entrance costs. Beds very comfortable, nice feature of the French door in the main bedroom although this room could do with a TV in it. Accommodation had a nice beach feel about it. Nice touch leaving local biscuits and tea bags on our arrival. Some attention needed for example the bathroom - splashed paint on heated towel rail and rail near the sink - just lets the bathroom down by whoever painted it. Also I’d recommend tile splash backs around the sink in the bathroom for evidence of toothpaste splashes on the wall. Leisure pass had incorrect name on it but doubt this would effect entry to facilities for staff didn’t check them. Staff in the onsite pub weren’t the friendliest. Nice stroll to the beach albeit a steep slope at the bottom. Overall the owner has a good set up, good quality sofa etc just the minor issues mentioned that needs to be addressed, owner could do with doing some spot checks on the cleaners he uses. Would recommend stay to friends.

Im sorry about the small amount of cleanliness issues - whilst these should have been right on arrival should you have done as we ask and report any issue no matter how small we would have instantly returned and rectified the issues. The bedroom TV is personal choice of the owners not to have one as people often dont want a tv on holiday in the bedroom. We are glad you had a lovely holiday and look forward to hosting you again soon!

Well equipped, clean and comfortable property. Brilliant beach and a great base for exploring the local area.

House was clean, homely, comfortable & had everything we needed - can’t fault it at all. Communication great with regard to booking. Beach at Filey is gorgeous. A very quiet, peaceful location with some nice walks.

Immaculately kept property. 5 minute walk to all the amenities, with its own parking space outside the front door. Great to have a dog friendly pub on site too. Highly recommend.

A very homely property, which is comfortable and welcoming. Situated in a quiet area on the site but well placed for all the amenities. Well equipped. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely time at Waves @ The Bay, well equipped everything we needed for our stay.
Facilities at the bay are great, access to the beach. Only issue upstairs could get very warm, no key for the window in the room that the boiler cupboard was in even with the radiator turned off it was far too warm in that room

We stayed at 'the waves' in The Bay Filey for the New Year period and the whole experience from start to finish was excellent. The communication received from Anthony and team was superb from booking (simple, easy to navigate website and user experience) right through to day of departure, keeping us informed and updated of any impacts or challenges that the site was experiencing (due to inclement weather). The accommodation was just as described; it was clean and very well equipped - a real home from home. Added bonus was the ninja airfryer, full size fridge/freezer and highspeed broadband (a massive hit with the 2 kids!). The bedrooms were spacious with ample storage and very comfy beds. Location of the Waves was perfect for us (2 adults, 2 children and 2 dogs) and we would not hesitate to return.

Relaxing stay. the addiction of a kitchen blind and a couple of clock’s would be beneficial. We found everything very comfortable although at times looking out at a particular white van from the patio doors was a bit of putting.

Re. the van - it is an open plan holiday village and its a little unfair to mark us down on that basis as the van isn't normally there and it is an unfortunate coincidence that something outside of our / your control has spoiled your view.
