Our first time booking through Anchor Bay Holidays and really impressed. Apartment Laguz was on the top floor. Spacious, comfortable, good views. Great features - double oven/microwave, fridge, TV in lounge and main bedroom, lovely bathroom. Pet-free which is important for us. Super location for seafront/amusements as well as for town, and walks (we walked up to the North Bay and around by the castle, also along Marine Drive to Sealife Centre and Peasholm Park). We chose Pearl & Spice to accommodate 10 members of our family for a well deserved break as my partner hadn't seen his daughters and grandchildren for awhile . Each sleeps 5 so we thought these cottages would be ideal. and they did not disappoint. Absolutely stunning properties, although different layouts both were superb.Spotless and very well equipped . Lovley location the hotel next door pop in for drink are if you fancy not cooking the breakfast and meals are lovley also Tesco express,fish chip shop chicken takeaway and bakery all in few minutes the cottage was was few minutes walk to beach and bus stop right out side runs every half hr
I was visiting family in the local area and this apartment was a perfect base. It was easy to book and all correspondence was very clear and informative. The apartment is well furnished. It was very clean and very comfortable. There is easy parking and as a female travelling alone I felt very safe. I would recommend the apartment and the bay site in general to anyone looking for accommodation.
A family of 5. 3 teenagers. Normally I need to cook to save some costs .I had everything we needed in the kitchen. The place was immaculately clean with a gorgeous internal design. Felt home instantly. Great communication when needed to find things. Your enjoyment is promised. We will certainly return!
A lovely stay at The Bay Filey, the cottage (Tracey Island) was very clean modern and comfortable, its been well looked after, would definitely recommend, as there's plenty of places to visit in the area
The team could not have been more helpful in helping me to arrange a getaway for a large group . They accommodated my requests and kept me informed about arrival and what to expect. The accommodation was immaculate. A fabulous house and two beach houses that accommodated us all. Wonderful space outside for us to eat and for the children to play. Everything was spotless. Had another great stay at the Bay. The grandkids love it there and always request that we go back. Have stayed at different properties through anchor bay and all have been great - very friendly and helpful people to deal with too. We will no doubt be back soon!
We stayed Monday to Friday. This is an ideal base for days out or relaxing. The lodge is spacious and we appreciated having our own bedrooms and bathrooms.

Was a lovely cottage, clean, good size, communication for booking was excellent, location was great for a nice break, park up and enjoy, nice beach 10/15 mins walk which was great for the dog early morning walks when it was hot, the only suggestion I would recommend would be to maybe put a small fence around the patio area, more for dogs really as someone had a dog off lead that kept running over to us but overall we was really pleased with everything, thank you
Dudley's Retreat is a wonderful apartment on The Bay. We have stayed in a number of properties there and this is by far our favourite. Check in and pre-information was clear and concise. The attention to detail is excellent with all the cooking equipment you could need. It was super clean when we arrived and everything you need to keep it that way is in the apartment. All linen and bedding was great quality and the wifi is also excellent if anyone needed to work. This has genuinely been really well thought out for their guests and is a credit to the owners. Nice clean apartment & very quiet considering it was the main summer holidays & the site seemed busy. On entering the apartment there is a handy shoe rack with seating. Bed very comfortable & p!entry of storage in bedroom. Bathroom nice with lovely walk in shower. Kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. There is no dryer and we didn't want the heating on as the weather was warm but the towels did dry fine on the airy. The Sandpiper at The Bay, Filey We had another amazing stay at The Sandpiper at The Bay, Filey. This was our third stay, and it remains our favourite place to stay! The accommodation had everything we could possibly need, making it feel like a real home from home. We particularly loved the en-suite walk-in shower, which was a lovely added touch. Everything was just as wonderful as always, and we really didn’t want to leave. We absolutely love The Sandpiper and can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommended!

The house was perfect. Location was good but I had thought we were right on the edge of Bridlington.(I can only walk short distances but not a problem for my daughter and grandson) . The house is really well equipped with very nice furniture,fixtures and fittings.Lovely to have a washing machine. Three loos ! Good internet access The hot tub just completed it for us. Lovely cottage on the bay, very comfortable and clean and cosy! Heating easy to work and everything you would need for a short break! Originally booked an other cottage butbwasnt dog friendly and anthony sorted this out for us very quickly! Plenty of emails texts etc with all the information needed! We really enjoyed our stay at The Puffin Pad. Clean, well equipped, very friendly owners, we felt we coukd contact them if necessary. Our only grumble was 2 family members rented houses on The Bay that were only very slightly more expensive than the flat but that wouldn't put us off renting it again. Many thanks for a great stay.
We had a fab week away when we stayed at ‘Anchor at the bay’. The cottage was gorgeous and had everything you could ever need. The patio doors opened onto a lovely grassed area for quickly letting the dog onto but 5 minutes round the corner was the wildflower meadow and the lake that we walked round too. Beach access was great. We also did archery which was great fun even though it got a bit competitive . Highly recommend Anthony and Anchor Bay Holidays
Only point I would make was the WiFi was poor so the TV kept freezing. Everything else about the apartment was fine.
We have stayed at The Bay a few times but our first stay in Half The World Away. The property was really nice with everything you could need. As it's a new property, it was in pristine condition. A couple of suggestions for the owners are :-maybe purchase a small radio find something to put over the port hole window in bedroom to stop the street light shining in We enjoyed our stay and would book this property again
We absolutely loved everything about Anchor Bay. The house was perfect, immaculate throughout with everything you could need or want during your stay. Comfortable sofa's and beds, warm and cosy a real home from home. The location was wonderful, just 6 minutes walk to the gorgeous beach from the house, veiw's were perfect. The pub on site was great to pop into while out walking our dog it had a great atmosphere. The pool, suna and steam room was a real added bonus. This was a lovely stay, the apartment was perfect for us, very clean and plenty of parking. We've not got a dog but the whole site is very dog friendly and the beach is only a 10 min walk away... we loved the beach and the free swimming (bookable) was good too. Thank you

Fabulous booking service . Anthony was very helpful , simple easy booking , great communication . Property was fabulous , very clean and very well equipped . Small tiny feedback is some of the beds were missing mattress protectors , the wooden patio furniture was a little tired and heavy some more modern lighter weight furniture would be fantastic . We’ve stayed at the bay numerous times and it’s a modern development but it’s getting on a bit. As such sometimes you can pick fault with some tired parts in properties but the wagging wave is spot on. Decorated nicely, and consistently throughout. Great shower and a bath in a decent sized bathroom. The single beds were big enough for adults and the beds as a whole were comfortable. Very clean and tidy apartment, easy to follow instructions given to us through email and text. Everything in the apartment we needed. Because of the good weather we spent a few days on the beach.
Lovely holiday home in a great location for quiter family breaks, still with some ammenities such as a shared pool, tennis court, shop, pub etc. Fun for young children in the small on site arcade too. Paddy’s Corner is a spacious, modern property, light and bright. We really enjoyed our stay!

This apartment is ideal for me and my 2 young boys, it feels so comfortable and spacious and of course the huge TV helps. We’ve stayed 4 times in 6 months and are already thinking of our next visit. Highly recommend for everyone.
I booked this for my elderly aunt and uncle who were struggling to find somewhere to stay. It was exactly what they needed and more. They loved the gadgets but would have loved a guide book on how to use the oven, microwave and Ninja kettle. My uncle couldn’t sit on the sofa as it was too low for him so he had to sit in a hard backed chair. He is 86. They also found some damage on the inside of the wardrobe when they were packing up to go but no record of it , so they recorded it in a book anyway. But they had a lovely few days with us for my dad’s memorial.
Gingerbread Cottage is a comfortable 2 bed cottage in a great location, close to the beach. Filey is located around 2 miles away so for those who are able it's a lovely walk along the beach with either a costal walk or walk along the main road back (due to tide on a late afternoon). We didn't use the onsite amenities so cannot comment on those. The cottage had most things we needed at a good price although a welcome pack of a few bin bags and dishwasher tablets would have been useful (dont have one at home and not likely to buy a box to leave for other guests!). Upon arrival to the cottage at 4pm at the stated check in time the cleaners were still there so didn’t get into the property until 4.15pm. This was very frustrating after a long journey. There was no arrival welcome Gift which I had read others had received. It states there are games available for children to play, there was 1 adults jigsaw. This wasn’t an issue, again read it but wasn’t available. We recently spent a short break in Halcyon Days at The bay Filey. A very impressive property in a lovely location. Clean & comfortable and furnished to a high spec, the place had a homely feel. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be booking again.
A really lovely holiday home which was immaculately clean throughout. The village is a great holiday choice. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen had everything you needed. We all had an amazing few days in the house. Games were available for children and a small area outside with benches for the children to play. Parking wasn’t a problem. Didn’t use the facilities or food areas. Beach is a short walk from the village. Great location. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a few days in a nice place. You will not be disappointed.
We had a lovely week staying at Ocean Cove, the accommodation is wonderful, clean and lots of amenities to help make your stay comfortable. We used the leisure pass to access the pool which was great and really enjoyed being so close to the beach too. Comfortable beds and lovely decoration throughout. Well situated to explore the coastline locations, we were sad to leave. Thank you, we have already booked again for next year!
Family of four. This is a lovely, well maintained property, which was spotless on arrival. The living area is very spacious and comfortable, with the kitchen having everything you could possibly need. A particular bonus (with two teenage daughters) was two bathrooms (one en suite) meaning three toilets! There are three bedrooms meaning everyone can have there own space if needed. Located on a perfect central location near the facilities (although we didn't use them or the leisure pass we'd been left). Would happily recommend this property and would definitely stay there again.
Very enjoyable. Wish we could have stayed longer. We were fortunate with the weather on most of the days, so it was good to have coffee on the upstairs veranda, as this is definitely more favourable than the downstairs one.
We are thrilled with our stay at the wonderful property it fits in with our family share Christmas present. Booked again for this year. The Bay is a quiet non intrusive calm break away from all the hustles of life and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Pet friendly makes it perfect for us.

We’ve stayed in a few houses at The Bay, this was our first stay at Baileys beach house. The house was fab, modern, and it looked like it had been redone recently, the location was also great. The beds were sooooo comfy! The only issue we had was the sofa, we love a comfy corner sofa to watch TV and chill. It looked fab on the photos but in reality, it was covered in covers which kept coming off and they were hard to fit back on, inbetween the sofa cushions my daughter found a few used plasters which wasn’t very nice. We really enjoyed staying at Monty’s Maison. The house is in a great location, a minutes walk to the shop/pub/leisure centre. The house is well decorated and very comfortable, although it is pet friendly there was no trace of dog smells/hairs. We went to the beach every evening and ate in the pub. We all enjoyed the break and would go back. Only issue it’s a little pricey but it is a high quality property so worth it, particularly if you get good weather.

It was the first time that we have stayed at this apartment at the Bay the accommodation had everything we needed and it is a nice complex the only issue that we had was being upstairs with our dog it would have been better to have been on the ground floor but overall we couldn't fault it
Baywatch was a beautiful house with a homely feel in a fantastic location overlooking the beach .A few minor things let it down ..cobwebs in most rooms indicating it had not had a thorough clean ..no safety glove to use when operating log burner ..no oven gloves , no tea towel and no welcome pack although there was one in Baybreak .Would definitely book again though
Beautifully maintained and equipped first floor apartment with plenty of parking spaces on the doorstep. Granddaughter was most impressed with the size of the television screen. Definitely didn't need my glasses on. Well equiped kitchen which meant we didn't miss anything from home. The on site shop supplies essentials but don't rely on it for fresh fruit and vegetables. We had fun creating memories. We loved the walk across the beach to share our bucket full of ice cream at The Beach Cafe. . It was very good, except the maintenance wasn’t up to date. There were two bulbs out in the kitchen, carbon monoxide alarm needed changing. Not enough knives and forks initially. Everything else was clean and fully functional.
We've stayed in many cottages at the bay over the last 5 years and are never disappointed. Home from home quality. I wrote a couple of repairs needed in the comments book only to help the next person to have a comfortable stay.
The house was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had up to date appliances and furniture. Could do with a little table and lamp in the smaller bedroom between the beds. It’s located near enough to the facilities but tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. We had a great stay and would definitely book again.

We first stayed here just over twelve months ago, a family party of nine guests. Great location, and parking. The beach is a mile away, a consideration if you have lots of clobber to take with you, but a leisurely stroll gets you there. With Hunmanby just across the main road, there are several places to eat, and would recommend all of them, particularly the Piebald Inn (52 different pies!). Further afield obviously Filey itself, good beach and amenities plus Filey Brigg to explore. We have just returned from staying at Maris Cottage We stayed Monday-Friday and had a lovely time! The Cottage is lovely Clean Comfortable! We took our elderly parents who can’t climb stairs! But there’s a double downstairs bedroom with a toilet and sink across from the bedroom so no problem for them. The seating outside is new and we had lovely weather so used it a lot ! We had a perfect stay at Walker’s Way. The accommodation had everything we needed. The kitchen was fantastic with plenty of crockery. The TV was a perfect size and the living area was very comfortable. We have stayed at The Bay about 5 times now and this was by far the best accommodation that we have stayed in.
A lovely property in an ideal position with high class fitments throughout. The property has a true home from home feeling with an open plan design with lots of light flooding in from the large 3 bay windows. We were lucky to have excellent weather having breakfast on the patio was outstanding. The bedrooms were large and very comfy. All in all the house is a credit to the owners. The parking area is a little tight for two family cars outside but there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. Highly recommended

We stayed 4 nights in Britannia House with family and grandchildren. The downstairs open plan layout was perfect, kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Bedrooms were great for our needs. Location very handy just a few minutes walk to the pool, gym, shop arcade and pub. The path to the beach took around 5 minutes which was very convenient. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.
Everything was as expected, clean and airy. Almost everything you need. Beds comfortable and spacious shower room. Would have liked a couple of items there such as basic condiments, 1 j cloth or sponge to start. Also egg cups! We had a great long weekend at Echo beach, the house was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, Also a great location right next to the park, would definitely recommend and we would stay here again.
We had a nice relaxing family break in Daisy Cottage. Everything needed in a good holiday home is there. The Cottage was clean, bright and spacious and I would recommend it without hesitation.
Kibble tree is a lovely little cottage not too far from sewerby. Very peaceful and with everything you need for a stay.
Lovely house with its own parking space in a great location and would definitely visit again . We just missed the complimentary arrival Box .
Could do with a deep clean then some tlc every week. The outside needs a good clean too. Dirty windows and spiders webs. One of the beds was a bit soft and also if you sneeze the bed creaks really loud or if you turn over the head board bangs on the wall.
We had been planning to visit for years to the Bay and now wish we had visited sooner. A fantastic base and house with no complaints. The unexpected addition of Wii and board games was a bonus and this should be advertised more as it was great family fun. For a long weekend family break we would 100% recommend. Also explore Flamborough Lighthouse and Selwicks Bay - one of the most beautiful places in the UK we have seen.
Lovely cottage and superb location with a pub, swimming pool/gym, chemist and ‘village’ store a short walk away. Access to the beach is also just a 5 minute walk from the cottage. The cottage itself is well furnished and comfortable with everything you could need for your stay. We are return visitors to Snowdrop cottage and will definitely be coming back again.

This is the second property I've stayed in at the Bay, and I'd say it was a little tired / grubby compared to the first one. It still had everything we needed for a few days stay though. We didn't use the outdoor table/chairs as they were covered in bird poo but our friends were staying next door so we just sat outside theirs. The high chair was not great - we gave it a wipe down but the straps are disgusting, it really needs replacing (the £15 Ikea ones would probably be a better idea as they're much easier to clean!) We had a lovely stay, the house was spotless. Everything you needed and great outdoor seating. Furniture a little worn, Beds comfy Would have liked a little washing up liquid and perhaps a few dishwasher tablets, just to get you started. As most places do put some out, but not a deal breaker. Would recommend for families as nice space at the back to let children play

Clean well presented cottage, good location on site, Helpful having parking space at the side of the cottage. Just a couple of suggestions It would have been helpful to have a tidy dry for swimming costumes as no where to hang them. A few more mugs would be good as there were 6 of us we had to keep washing mugs. overall would certainly recommend the cottage.

The property is in a great location with sea view and balcony which made it extra special. There is a lovely large grass area behind the property and also only a short walk to the pub/shop and beach access. There was ample seating inside the property in the lounge and dining area and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed including a washer dryer and dishwasher. We stayed here as a family of 4 adults and 3 children the youngest was 18months old, and 2 dogs. A travel cot was provided so we only needed cot bedding which helped with space in the car. We hired the hot tub Monday to Friday which was also great fun for the children when we’d been out for the day The rooms were all comfortable and clean, 2 bathrooms upstairs and a downstairs toilet. Exceptionally well presented, fittings of highest standard. Perfect for four. Small living room. We enjoyed our time here -grandchildren used pool, arcade , tennis court. Played boules outside the cottage. Would definitely return to the bay and this cottage but if more than four of us we would book a 3 bed next time.

Good space indoors and outdoors. Beds clean, good linen, towels good. Parking good. However, general cleanliness lacking, floors dirty and unmapped. Rug under coffee table and dining room , unhoovered and grubby. Dining room table had food remanents and sticky as had coffee table. Felt we left the rental cleaner than we found it.
Had a lovely few days at Seakisses, the cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. Just a couple of things we found lacking, the absence of an information pack regarding the facilities on site & a map of The Bay itself. The Bay is a really nice place as a Base but there's not much there for children.
The Lodge was very nice overlooking a lake and we could watch the ducks etc.The distance to the Leisure Centre was a little walk but we liked the quietness of the Lodge. We did walk to the beach but it is a hike back up the hill if not very mobile. We did go to the pub on site but the waiting time for food was too long for us as we had 2hungry children so didn’t go back. We did the park and ride near Filey for our visit to Scarborough which I would recommend. We would visit again but maybe on our own without Grandchildren in quieter months.
Had 4 nights stay at Casa Crusoe, lovely accommodation. Great location, spotlessly clean. This is our second stay, would highly recommend.Will definitely be booking again.
The property was well positioned but needed upgrading and cleaning properly. The twin bedroom was particularly unclean as were the windows. The sofa was uncomfortable and the kitchen table was badly positioned. The blind in the twin bedroom was broken, light streamed in through the round roof window in the main bedroom and the cafitiere was missing. The outside furniture needs replacing desperately.
Lovely clean property with everything you need for your stay. Lovely site and easy walk to the beach. A suggestion would be a bin upstairs
Whilst this was not the property we booked,we were very happy with the house,lovely position,clean and comfortable. Everything we could need was available. Our only disappointment really is the late check in.especially in the winter months these late check in times meant we are left waiting all day to get into the property it is practically night ,the cleaners were late,they said it was because the previous people had left the property quite dirty,but they didn’t actually start to clean the property while after two. The property is in need of some attention. There were broken drawers, toilet seat ill fitting etc. The kitchen could also do with some additional crockery, for example, there were 5 of us so wanted to serve rice in a serving bowl on the table but there was nothing bigger than a cereal bowl so we had no option other than to plate everything up in the kitchen. Not ideal for a proper family meal. Although dogs are permitted, it also needs to be made very clear that the ‘patio’ which was an incredibly small area, is not fenced in. This wasn't the most comfortable or homely stay I have had at The Bay at Filey. The apartment is very basic and not homely. I would say it is adequate, with basic seating, minimal crockery and dark furnishings, which are a little depressing. It was very clean and tidy. There was no mirror near a socket to use the hairdryer. A strong smell of curry, which after the windows were opened, still stayed unfortunately. There was a lot of flies inside this property.
The Sandy Feet Retreat was a beautiful property and in a great location. It was very clean and fully equipped for all your needs. The only downside with The Bay is the wooden sleepers used for the drive. They have them on all the properties and they are very uneven and extremely slippery when wet. Not great for people with mobility problems. Other than that a fantastic stay and I would definitely recommend to others.
Sandy Bay hideaway is in a great position, close to the pool, shop, pub and path to the beach, but is still very quite and relaxing. We enjoyed our trip, but sandy bay was visibly run down and just felt a little tired, with what looked like mould on my sons bedroom carpet floor, the bed bases looked old and mould round both shower floors / screens, a lot of paint work scuffed / faded in every room and some of the kitchen equipment / drawers were dirty and / or damaged, as well as the master dressing table which looked horrendous with some yellow staining and marks. Disappointed with cleanliness in living area and kitchen. Very dusty. Felt like it needed a thorough clean and polish. Would benefit from new place mats and coasters as these were stained. Table was chipped and might look better with a tablecloth. Opening the doors was difficult as the key stuck and the cover kept separating from the base. Used hand towels were still in the property and no bin liners were in any of the bins. Plunger behind bathroom tap not working.
