The cottage was beautifully presented, with thoughtful touches. Exceptional support when needed too!
Very well appointed farmhouse with everything you need for your stay. Set in a beautiful landscape with lovely views. A very quiet location close to Criccieth and Porthmadog for supermarkets etc. Excellent communications in advance with location and entry details. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this for families or group stays.
Great place to stay… Host is amazing and taking care of the lodges. I would highly recommend this place.
We were very impressed with the accommodation and in fact this was our second stay in the same month as we loved it so much. Great location and fabulous view out to the bay from the rear garden. No negative comments whatsoever.
The lodge was first class. Very comfortable and very clean. Positioned in a perfect place not far away from anywhere you would like to visit on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. We would definitely like to stay there again. The host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Llety was in a perfect position with views from most windows. The flat was larger than expected, with plenty of storage room and very well equipped. We both enjoyed our stay and hope to come back.
We stayed at Robyn’s nest and were delighted with the accommodation design and facilities. Thoughtful welcome gift Patio heater and picnic table meant we could sit out in the evening Everything we needed in a perfectly designed hideaway Definitely will be back !
We were so lucky to stay at this place given our late booking. It’s a lovely cosy place, nestled near a local beach with great coastal walks nearby. About 40 mins drive from Snowdon, good cycle routes, supermarkets - 5 min drive (Lidl, Asda & Tescos) Good facilities, nice garden. Note the upstairs room has 3 beds but the ceiling is low. My 5 foot 8 son was ok. He banged his head once on the stairs and I moved his bed into the middle.
We stayed for 2 nights. Lovely site with only 6 lodges. Great facilities in the lodge. Very modern and comfortable. Seating area outside was lovely for relaxing. Hope to visit again soon. Friendly owner who checked if you needed anything. Hope to be back soon.
Great accommodation, great location and a very friendly and helpful host. Oyster Cottages were efficient and offered extra support. Anglesey has lots of wonderful scenery.
Lovely accommodation, really spacious. Nice walks with your dogs. Well located to explore the island. A nice leisurely holiday.
The cottage was in a lovely location near beaches and was well equipped with everything we needed for the week. Owner was very helpful.
For a British holiday you can't beat this one. The house had all that was needed. Lots of space, kitchen resources and games. Everyday needs were met above and beyond. Plenty of space around the dining table and in the lounge. The accomodation makes the most of the location with super views from almost every room. We saw dolphins 3 times over the week ❤️ It is less than 5 minutes to get to the beach. Less than 15 to the castle. We enjoyed a trip up there. Wish I took a deck chair and a picnic. Super views from there too. We also enjoyed a coastal walk around to Porthmadog and caught the no...more
Lovely stay with mum Mum and daughter (5yrs) - we all said we could easily have moved in! Lovely decor, location and everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Easy walk to the main beach with small coves to explore on the way. Treaddur has everything you need and is very friendly. Great for walks, RSPB visit, history/archeology sites, we also did a boat trip. A true break from home. We would love to explore where your other holiday rentals are located for next year.
Booked this property for a family holiday whilst my mom was poorly and even though she didn’t make it she would have absolutely loved it. Every room has a view. An amazing property with everything you could possibly need We will defiantly come back another time
We came to Bron haul on short notice for 3 weeks. Oyster cottages anglesey have always provided good holiday accommodation. The cottages is very well equipped and very comfortable. The bed especially. Wifi isn't fantastic for tv but we managed. Under floor heating but it was during heatwave so could of done without it on timer but plenty windows front and rear to open for fresh air. Brynsiencyn does seem a quite village but definitely not. The main road is noisy all day and kids in cars at night, this doesn't reflect on the nice accommodation really. Only negative I would say is the wall is l...more
All you could need perfect house, perfect location and amazing weather . The house is so well equipped and nice touch providing the games for outside . Family competition playing croquet on the lawn Some lovely walks from the house
Lovey cottage in a quiet location. The cottage had a well equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated throughout. The internet was not great and you need an account with Amazon or alternative to use the smart TV .Fortunately we had taken some board games with us as there weren’t any in the house.
A party of 4 ladies stayed at the property for a long weekend. The view was fabulous, the house clean and comfortable but there are a few areas that need addressing. The hot tap in the toilet is the wrong way round. The sink in the bathroom takes a long time to drain. The quilts on the single beds are not full single quilts they must be off children’s beds as quite small and would not have been adequate if it was cold. We toured the area from Church Bay easily. Our favourite place was Moelfre and lunch at Annie’s Pantry. We also visited Trearddur Bay (and saw dolphins )and Rhosneigr.
Lovely holiday home with nearby footpath access to the beach. Excellent location for getting out and exploring the rest of the island. We were met by our host to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely recommend.
Glasfryn Fawr was perfect for our family Christmas. We all fell in love with the kitchen and large living room. The extra snug was ideal for the kids to play games while the adults watched films and chatted by the woodburner. My elderly grandmother was happy in her downstairs bedroom with adjoining bathroom. There are a couple of steps to get into the snug to join the main house. The electric showers were fab and we soon worked out how to work the range for heating and hot water. We did have to take our refuse home (we only live 40min away) because here was no room in the wheely bin. But I b...more
We loved the property which was steeped in history. The beds were comfortable and r the kitchen very well equipped. We made use of the log burner which was so effective and kept us all warm as toast. I would recommend this cottage wholeheartedly and we plan to return in the future David Corrin
Our family had an absolutely amazing much needed stay at Park Delfryn in Anglesey. In fact I will go as far to say our stay was off the scale and one of the best holidays our family have ever had! The accommodation was immaculate, in a superb location near to the beach and the host had clearly gone above and beyond to ensure our family had a lovely time. I’m sure they booked in the weather for us too because the weather was unbelievable ….. the sun shone every day of our holiday enabling us to plod down (like little pack horses) to our favourite Benllech beach every single day - ….. trolly, ...more
Unique and stylish accommodation, super clean and well immaculately presented. We loved our stay ! We will return
My family all enjoyed their stay at Drws Nesa it was the weekend of my birthday and we all wanted to celebrate together and as we have a caravan on Pen y berth part of the family stayed in the caravan and the rest in the bungalow so it worked perfectly for us. Just a few miles from Pwllheli and similar to Abersoch there’s plenty to see and do with beaches and walks nearby.
Lovely place to spend time with the family. Lots of activities in and around Rhosneigr. Welcoming helpful owners that are local.
We absolutely loved our stay here, the cottage is old and many would say requires modernisation but we felt it all added to its character and charm. The beds were comfy as were the sofas and the kitchen was fully supplied with everything you could need. The grounds were fantastic and we had many games of football, rounders and hide and seek with a group of 4 children under 10. We spent every evening outdoors and made the most of the hot tub and the bbq. The views from the garden are also lovely. It’s in a great location and very close to so many lovely beaches and towns. We could n...more
Lovely cottage , very remote and comfortable. Owners communication was very good. Great base for mountains and peace .
The cottage was situated very near to Beaumaris Spotlessy clean and every comfort provided.Bedding, linen etc excellent However not for the elderly,.The toilet is downstairs and since the cottage is 300 years old the stairs are very steep and the door entrances on the short side.Car Parking for large vehicles a little restricted. But for the not so elderly a great place to stay
A beautiful house in a fantastic location. We had a lovely week here. The house was right on the front and we spent a lot of time just watching the changing tides, currents and activities on the water. A very comfortable house for 6 adults with three bathrooms, two en-suite. Great kitchen and living area. Ideal for a relaxing holiday with small shops and two great restaurants - Dylan’s and Freckled Angel - within walking distance. Also easy access to the rest of Anglesey. We will definitely return! Thank you.
Celebrating turning fifty with my sister and brother, we stayed for a week with her son and daughter (also celebrating turning 30!), my husband (celebrating a birthday too!) and a friend (another twin, celebrating 40, but without her womb-sharer!) and from the moment we entered the chorus of "this place is gorgeous/perfect/fantastic" was being echoed by everyone. Fabulous dining area where we spent most evenings playing card and board games, laughing, catching up, eating and drinking - it was easily the center of our "at home" life, exactly as a kitchen to dining area should be. Loved the cottage, and the kids enjoyed the hot tub after a long day out. The cottage had everything you needed for a stay.
Super spot ,but just felt it needed a bit of TLC, beds very comfy, lounge carpet needed a good clean and kitchen cupboards needed a sorting, otherwise a lovely holiday.
Very comfortable cottage beautiful and quiet. The TV maybe a bit challenging but that’s about all .Very comfortable and well equipped .Very happy holiday thank you!
A comfortable large house with good facilities for all ages. An excellent base for exploring North West Cymru.
Enjoyed a lovely week in this beautiful house. A little information regarding bins would have been helpful. Also a guest book to enable us to leave our comments would be nice.
We took my 89 year old father for a short break and he loved it , as stairs are an issue downstairs bedroom and bathroom a must . He loved watching the world go by through the window . Furnishings a bit worn and tired ( cushions on sofas and table cloth in kitchen also kitchen pans and trays) . Plant pots outside would benefit from fresh plants and TLC just looked neglected for such a prime location on sea front as locals looked after village plants with care and pride . Bedding not the best but clean . Such a fabulous location and needed just more love.
We had a wonderful stay at Garden Cottage, our second visit. We really appreciate the beautiful setting of the cottage, surrounded by nature and easy access to drive to some very beautiful parts of Wales. We had a small problem that came up during our stay and this was resolved straight away! If we are visiting this area again, we would certainly consider coming back here!
Lovely cottage, great location! We had everything we needed for a lovely holiday, it was truly home from home, thank you! Due to our growing family we had this cottage and the cottage next door and the children could all play together in the adjoining gardens which was perfect!
Our family of six had a wonderful time in Caernarfon. The cottage was spacious and very private and close to the sea and walking distance to local amenities. Well worth the visit!
We enjoyed our stay the apartment is clean and well equipped with everything you need. Our only issue would be the sofa needs updating as it is a little tired . The location is amazing and Julia and Mike are excellent hosts and very helpful
We first discovered Sea Breezes 10 years ago and it had the WOW factor then. After many visits to different parts of the island we decided to return to Moelfre and we weren't disappointed. The compact apartment was pristine , had everything you need and sea views to die for. Local pub the Kinmel Arms , Ann's Pantry and the chippy all serving good food. The cliff top walk to the lifeboat house and neighbouring Lligwy Beach delightful. The Bara Brith cake was delicious, thank you Julia . A lovely stay and would certainly return.
The apartment was very clean, tidy and comfortable and we didn't experience any noise from the apartment above or below us. They had added all the finishing touches like fresh flowers, cake, Welsh cake, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee for our arrival. The essentials like washing up liquid, cleaning liquids, toilet roll, soap, tin foil, cling film, salt, pepper and oil spray for cooking were also on hand. Spare pillows and throws were in the wardrobe if we needed them. You can walk out of the property and along to a beautiful marina. We were within easy distance of castles, scenic walks and...more
We booked for a week in July to celebrate our wedding anniversary and based on the listing for this house, we were really looking forward to it. However once we arrived we were very underwhelmed and disappointed. Firstly I’ll list the positives. The location and walking distance to the beach and Abersoch are excellent. The beds even though smaller than advertised were comfortable. Oyster holiday cottages were prompt to reply to our problems and tried to help as best they could. Now to explain the disappointment. When we booked, the main bedroom was listed as having a king size bed, this was ...more
Enjoyed our stay at ty bach even though the double bed was a little to hard of a mattress for me and my partner it was tidy and clean location was excellent kitchen had everything we needed handy having a dish washer the property was very spacious as there was a party of five it was very good, sofa's were a little uncomfortable when relaxing as I suffer with my back didn't find them comfortable all in all enjoyed our week there.
We enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. There were some initial issues which were resolved by the owner very promptly. The information from Oyster Cottages describes a Superking size bed in the main room, It is a very comfy bed in a lovely room but it is only a Kingsized. The two singles in the 2nd bedroom downstairs can be converted to a Superking size though. My score of 3 on cleanliness is due to this being an old property and there were inevitable cobwebs in nooks and crannies but we found some of the kitchen items not to have been cleaned properly by the previous occupants. This was rectif...more
Good value but the whole house could do with a thorough deep clean and a review of condition of fixing and fixtures plus updating. It would also be good to ensure there are suitable kitchen pans and tools as would be expected for a house that houses 10 occupants. As well as a deep clean, it would be nice that someone ensured all cutlery and plates were in a clean state prior to being occupied as we had to wash everything before use. Despite this we had an excellent short stay.
Much to my relief the issue of cleanliness from previous reviews had been addressed which meant that we could be wowed by the stunning views surrounding us. We loved waking up and seeing the rabbits in the garden each morning and having complete tranquility throughout the stay. You are within moments of beautiful coastal walks there and a drive (or a vigorous cycle) to the nearest local shop which stocked everything we'd forgotten and more.
Cottage was large and spacious but it needs a lot of maintenance, the floor in the lounge is coming up in parts which our toddler fall over a few times, carpet on the landing is stain, curtains are stained in dining room, and tie backs are coming off the wall in most rooms, bathroom blind was full mould and main bathroom toilet wasn’t very clean, there are marks all over the walls/light switches around the cottage that could have been easily cleaned off. Lights were full of dust and cobwebs all over the place which you expect in an old property but it had clearly been there awhile. Location of...more
