We stayed in the Kingfisher Lodge for our wedding weekend and it was utter perfection. The setting is so peaceful and feels like you’re in the middle of the woods which was needed after a weekend of socialising!!! It was great to still be near guests but have our own little slice of peace and quiet. We loved it and can’t wait to come back again already. Really special place.
We had a pleasant 4 night break in this quiet location. The kitchen was well equipped, the bed was comfortable, and the smart tv was appreciated. Storage space in the bedroom was minimalist but we managed well enough. We took advantage of the spa and treatments and both were excellent and to be recommended. This is clearly a well managed operation.
Another great visit. This time we came with friends who love walking and our son who loves running. Everyone was very happy to be based in Bailey Cottage: clean, comfortable and exceptionally spacious. Easy access to the beautiful Ribble Valley with its many varied walks and running trails. And very good pubs. We have stayed in several different cottages on the Ribble Valley Holiday Homes site, depending on the size of our group. A really relaxing holiday every time.
Basically ok. Dishwasher lower tray - replace immediately. Heated towel rooms a necessity. Chairs in bedrooms needed.
Returning guest lovely surrounding area and walks in Ribble Valley accommodation lovely too. Hot tub kids love.
This was our first time staying at Ribble Valley Holiday Homes and, owing to my mobility and health issues, we chose to stay at Whitewell Cottage. I found that its location, both in terms of access and its location within the site itself, was great for me and all the facilities (cafe, bins, spa etc) are within just a few metres walk. I especially loved the small enclosed garden space which was not overlooked at the back of the cottage. The cottage had almost everything we needed and although the fridge and freezer are small, these have plenty of space for two or three people for a full we...more
We had a great stay at Ribble Valley Holiday Homes, unfortunately we didn't have time to try the Spa but I did have a quick look around on the morning of our departure and it looked lovely.
We had a long weekend stay at Oak Bank Farm for a family wedding and couldn't fault it. The property is clean and comfy, and has all the amenities you need, along with plenty of space for everyone. It's a great venue for a wedding with all the guests in accommodation on site... and the staff were amazing!
Basic needs catered for. A chair in the bedrooms would be useful and heated towel rails. Outside needs sweeping.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Kingfisher lodge, it is very comfortable with everything needed to make the stay complete. The lodge is set in a small wooded area and is very peaceful and a great place to relax on the deck with a drink on the evening. We would definitely recommend the lodge and the Lancashire countryside the venue is set in.
Cottage is in a lovely location with a beautiful garden and hot tub. Good kitchen and appliances. Lots of the soft furnishings (sofas, cushions, mattresses, pillows) are tired and uncomfortable and in need of replacement. Cleaning could be to a higher standard. Good value for money overall but we would happily pay more for improved furnishings.
Our family stayed at Somerwood with Ribble Valley Holiday Homes 3rd to 10th August 2026. All of us enjoyed the facilities which are plentiful. The tennis court is wonderful. The outdoor space was used constantly with the children who kept themselves busy. They also loved the bulls who came to the fence regularly. The basement is brilliant we loved the snooker and table tennis. Cinema room fabulous. I could go on it's soo good. Looking forward to returning .
We had a lovely family stay at Woodfield Farm Cottage and really enjoyed the spacious bedrooms, large kitchen, and basement, which was a great space for games and watching football together. There were a few issues that could be improved, including ants by the back door on arrival, some unclean dishes, cobwebs, dirty window frames, and a leaking downstairs toilet. We also noticed some heavy kitchen cupboard doors, uneven outdoor seating area, worn sofa cushions, poor bed pillows, unreliable Sky TV, and cosmetic wear in the main bathroom, including rusted mirrors and a cracked bath.
