We were a party of 15 in all with 4 in the stable who fully enjoyed the weekend. The 2 kids were so excited and spent a lot of time in the pool and with the animals. Could not fault anything and the accommodation was wonderful!
We visited Croft Farm in September 2025 with our 2 year old grandson and stayed in the Granary. We loved it so much, we returned in June 2026. This time we opted for the Dairy as it was a little bigger and it was absolutely wonderful. The cottage was beautiful and decorated to a high standard. My grandson loved his bed in 'the attic' room. Everything is provided and the only thing we needed to being was food. The on site activities are excellent, and perfect for young (and slightly older) children. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The children loved all the facilities and having access to the animals .....including almost playing football with the donkey :)
The Barn is a very well equipped family holiday venue with excellent facilities on the site for all age children and young teens. It includes a lovely swimming pool pre-bookable for an hour each day ; a football field, a play barn, outdoor play area, snooker and tiny soft play. The site is very well run by a family which extends a warm welcome to everyone.
We had a lovely stay at Croft Farm. It's in an excellent location for family holidays - close to nice beaches, pubs and towns (inc. supermarket) whilst still very peaceful. Our cottage was very clean and comfy (nice towels and bedding) and well-equipped. It was particularly nice to have so many things for the children provided: travel cot, highchair, bathroom step, kid size crockery and cutlery etc. The only thing we missed was some nice wine glasses for the adults (although drinking wine out of huge goblets has its advantages too!). Croft House is an excellent choice for a large group holiday - it comfortably seats 12 at the large dining table. The furnishing throughout is high quality and comfortable. The kitchen is not huge but really well equipped with plenty of everything needed. Four of the bedrooms are en-suite and the others have adjacent bathrooms. The main lounge is on the first floor with comfortable settees and a large screen. There is a hot tub and an outdoor seating area. A fantastic family holiday staying in the Cartwheel at Croft Farm and Celtic cottages. We enjoyed the facilities on offer at this lovely holiday destination. The cottage has a lovely garden which was perfect for our two boys. We all visited the pool daily (booking required) and enjoyed time in the hot tub too. Great options for rainy days too with the play barn and pool table. It is well located for trips to the beach with Poppit sands being close by.
