What an absolute stunning property this is ! On entry we were met by the most incredible views of the Lakeland fells. Absolutely breathtaking. We loved everything about the house from the gorgeous smell, the furnishings, the decor, the bedrooms & the modern kitchen / dining area. We booked Ruby's cottage extremely last minute so we weren't expecting to find somewhere this good! Such a gorgeous house in the most stunning location. We loved the loft room and seeing a mountain out of each window (we especially enjoyed looking at Blencathra after we had climbed it!) The front garden was so nice to sit and read in while our toddler napped. So easy to get to Keswick and other lovely places. Great pubs, lovely cafe & a nice little play park very close by. Well-equipped house and such comfortable beds. We didn't want to leave and we hope we'll be back!
We returned to Mill House after a wonderful time last year. We arrived at the cottage with great memories and wondered if it would still be the same. Opening the front door and into the cottage we were welcomed by the same Mill House! It’s very much like home from home and this was the start of our second holiday here. Fabulous ground floor flat located in a quiet area with own parking space and easy walk into town. Everywhere was spotlessly clean, its fully equipped and well furnished, the beds are really comfortable. Would definitely go back again.

Beautiful apartment spread across four floors, with a high-quality interior finished to an exceptional standard. The location is perfect and made for a very enjoyable stay. The only downside was the 10:00am checkout and 4:00pm check-in times. This seems to have become more common since COVID, but it does noticeably reduce the amount of time guests can spend at the property. It was particularly frustrating as the apartment's parking arrangements were also restricted to these same times. Overall, a fantastic apartment that I would happily recommend.
Great accommodation and soon got used to the stairs (well flagged ahead of time) and without them you wouldn't have the fantastic views! Kitchen perfectly kitted out and the flat felt more spacious than the photos once I was settled. Super handy for Booth's supermarket and local buses - so much on the doorstep in terms of cafes, bars, shopping and walking. Once parked up I didn't use my car once!
A lovely clean and comfortable cottage just outside the town of Keswick situated in the lovely grounds of the owners neighbouring house but with your own private outdoor area's to relax in. It was well equipped without being cluttered and you can walk down to the lake and into Keswick town via the footpath across the road. (There is no footpath on the road by the cottage but access to the footpath is straight opposite the cottage gateway) This cottage is definitely on our return list.
Nice, quiet spot on the edge of town, with easy access down the nearby path to Ambleside road and straight into town. Comfortable beds, good WiFi, well equipped kitchen, though it's a long time since we've stayed in anywhere with a carpet in the kitchen.. very brave! Great views from the kitchen and a shower with a view! Would benefit from black out blinds in the bedroom, and really needs a hand rail down the front steps. We had a lovely few days. Never took the car out which was great. Staff at Keswick cottages were lovely too!
This property is well maintained, light and airy with a hospitable ambience from the owners. Any problems that arise are quickly dealt with by Keswick Cottages. It is in a quiet cul-de-sac near to the town, Fitz Park and the Crosthwaite church and area, on level ground, in modern, comfortable accommodation.
Fern Cottage was lovely - comfy, cosy and clean. Perfect being a detached property, and the secure garage storage for the bikes was a bonus. Just be careful on the drive - it is steep and low cars may struggle with the hump at the top. We have a reasonably high car and still caught the exhaust with a fully loaded car. That said, it is a lovely property and we will definitely book again.

Farmer’s Retreat was a well appointed house with spacious living areas and garden, short walk through the park into the town.

The house was very well equipped and everything worked as it should. The bedrooms were all good. Much thought was put into providing things to do indoors on an evening in or wet day. When we next visit Keswick we will book 45 Eskin Street.
We stayed here to shoot a film in the area, and even shot some of the film inside the apartment. I cannot think of a more convenient location to stay! You are literally seconds from Booths, CoOp, and the bus station, and minutes from the centre of town. The property was very well looked after and in an excellent location. We loved the games room and the cool temperatures of the lower floor. Everything we needed was provided and was of a high standard. A little seat outside for morning or evening sunshine would have been lovely. Little gem in heart of Keswick had a fantastic stay. Bed and bedroom was a great relaxing place nice to open all windows and not to noisey. Fantastic bathroom, small living room kitchen had everything required what a fantastic location you can fall out of the front door and you are in the square great!! We're recently back from our 3rd stay at Skiddaw Skies and just love it. We tried a different time of the year in the hope of better weather (than in the Autumn) and no such luck! Still, we had a fantastic time. The accommodation suits us perfectly as it's so conveniently located for buses and shops and local walk possibilities from the door. Plus it's so comfortable. It has the added bonus of plentiful books and maps to browse through and many puzzles and games if the weather really turns. We previously stayed at Daisy Cottage last year and were so impressed with it, we booked again. It is a lovely property, very conveniently located for town and the lake. The property would benefit from more power points upstairs but otherwise is perfect for us.
We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, everything was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and incredibly comfortable. The house had everything we needed. A short (and beautiful) walk into Keswick and lots of walks from the doorstep. Near to the lake for water sports too. There was plenty of storage for our bikes and the kitchen was well equipped for self catering. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Highly recommended.
This was our second stay at this lovely property, and we enjoyed it every bit as much as the first stay. Location is fantastic, nice and peaceful but an easy walk into Keswick. The cottage is very well equipped and cosy. Minor quibbles - tv is too small and the sofas are a bit soft for our liking. But they are minor quibbles only, and we would definitely recommend and book again.
We have holidayed in the North Lakes for the last 12 years but this was the first time staying at Three Peaks in Braithwaite. It was very clean when we arrived and the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms suited our party perfectly. The views of Skiddaw, Causey Pike and Barrow from the patio were breathtaking and we have booked to stay again next year. Could have done with tea towels, washing up liquid, spare toilet rolls and an extra handwash, none of which I brought with me as they were provided in all the previous accommodation we stayed at.
First time booking through Keswick cottages and rebooked with them before we even returned home!! ….We could not fault anything at all, from the moment we walked in (the best quality diffusers provided scent were amazing) the property was the immaculately clean. Fabulous spacious holiday apartment in the centre of Keswick which slept 5 adults comfortably. All the facilities you need for self catering and the beds were so comfortable. It also has 2 parking spaces included which is an added bonus as parking can be difficult in Keswick . The only negative we found was that the shower in the main bathroom wasn’t the best. Either running extremely hot or very cold and temperature couldn’t be adjusted. However this didn’t spoil our enjoyment of the property. Had a lovely holiday and will definitely be back!!
This is our second stay at Ellergill. Such a fab find. Easy to walk into Keswick. It’s own large car park. Bedrooms are all so comfy and clean. Kitchen has everything you need. Fab outdoor space. We have already booked for next year.
Lake View Cottage is beautifully situated near Lake Bassenthwaite in Powter Howe Thornthwaite. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well appointed and equipped with stunning views from our private patio where we enjoyed Al fresco meals. A bus stop right outside with a regular reliable bus service is available if one didn’t feel like driving. it is just a 10 minute drive to Keswick. Beautiful cottage, our second visit to this property, both of which were really good. Ideally located, very clean with modern facilities. This visit the weather let us down so the garden wasn’t used to its potential. Excellent place , will definitely book again
We stayed at this cottage with our young kids and dog, we wanted something close to the Main Street for walking and this was the ideal location. It was just along from the park, 5 minute walk to the bars and restaurants, and 10-15mins from the lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and even provided a little doggy box which was great. We would definitely stay here again
What an amazing place to stay. Equipped with everything you need. Very comfortable beds in spacious rooms. Great open plan living so you can all chat whatever you are doing but a lovely little quiet nook if you need your own space. And all in total quiet with views one can only dream about. Perfect. This was very convenient for a group. It was in an ideal location for what we required and it was comfortable and clean. We were concerned about parking but it wasn't an issue at this time of year
Cherry Garth is a deceptively spacious place to stay and suited our family group perfectly. The secure garden area made it even better. The location is perfect to access Keswick and local area and has a good bus service so hardly used the car. The weather was brilliant which also made it a really good family week. The property was clean and well equipped and we felt Keswick Cottages were an excellent organisation to deal with. Thank you!
We absolutely loved our stay at Rock Lynn. The location was fantastic, great pubs in walking distance, big beautiful views and only a short drive into Keswick. The house itself was very homely with comfortable beds. The hot tub was a lovely treat and really easy to use/heat up. The only thing to note for those looking for complete peace and quiet is that you can hear the main road from the house, which might not suit everyone. However it didn’t dampen our stay and we will definitely be back.
Perfect house in the middle of nowhere. The house had everything you needed for a truly relaxing holiday and was stunning too. A great place to celebrate a big birthday.
We've stayed at Fellside Hideaway twice now and will absolutely stay again. The location, the views, and the standard of the property are fantastic and I cannot recommend it highly enough. If you're thinking about staying then do it is absolutely a five star property. 2 niggles. This year when we arrived there was a large red Biffa bin dominating the front garden (and the whole street) that was shared with the neighbours who were coming on to our property to put waste in. Lydia's cottage was absolutely perfect for our first holiday to the lakes as a family of 4. Easy parking when we arrived. Really comfortable beds!! Lots of towels provided. Nice back terrace, had it not rained all weekend we would have eaten out here lots. Well equipped kitchen - although we couldn't find any scissors? There is a clear glass window above one of the doors into the twin bedroom. Luckily we had taken a blackout blind but this would have been abit tricky getting kids to bed, making it dark, otherwise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.The accommodation was perfectly situated for our annual visit to Keswick Convention. Great cottage,with plenty of space and of great character. Very clean, homely and welcoming. Very useful to have parking and a lovely patio area to relax in the sun. Would definitely return to Two Chimneys.
We found the cottage very clean and comfortable. It has everything you'd need for a short break. The location is fantastic, a few steps away from Fitz park, which is very dog friendly and has 2 nice cafes. We didn't use the car all week as lots of walks straight from the door or easily accessible by bus or ferry. The long stay car park round the corner was fine and a permit comes with the cottage. We brought the car up to the house to load/unload it. It's a very short walk to town, and it's easy to get down to the Lakeside (maybe 10/15 minutes walk). We'd happily stay there again. ...more

We had a lovely stay in Glen cottage though when we arrived late afternoon there was no key in the key safe! A quick phonecall to Keswick Cottages and it was sorted within 15 minutes, a key was brought out to us ! The welcome packs were lovely but just a little niggle , salt and pepper and a kitchen roll would have been helpful. All in all , a lovely stay , thank you …we shall definitely return!
Stayed here for a week in order to attend Keswick Convention and the property is in excellent and well maintained condition. We all slept good and well, the layout of all rooms is well thought out too. Its a 15-20 minute walk to Keswick using a footpath that is away from the main road, which is quiet and scenic.
We’ve just returned from a weeks’ stay in Jasmine Cottage and would definitely recommend it. The property was spotlessly clean, comfortable and had everything you’d need for a break away. Based in Portinscale, it is quieter than some of the places we’ve stayed in, in Keswick and has the added bonus of a dedicated parking spot, right outside the front door. The only slight improvement we would suggest, is some net curtains over the downstairs windows, as people do wander past the cottage at quite a close proximity. We have stayed at this property quite a few times, and as always it is clean, tidy and comfortable with a car parking space too, and within easy reach of the town centre as well as the supermarket and bus station. Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay at quaver cottage and I would definitely like to stay there again next time we holiday in Keswick. The cottage is clean and comfortable and very well equipped and in a wonderful location which is quiet yet within a few minutes walk to the town with all the pubs and restaurants and many shops and an added bonus is that it is a minutes walk from the booths supermarket which is really handy and stocks superb food and wines etc, so we look forward to returning in the near future.
We have previously stayed in Park View, one floor below StickleTarn. This was just as good but the stairs could possibly prove a challenge on future visits. Although nothing to do with you, I was appalled at how dirty the pavements of the town were. Overall, an excellent apartment and location
It's a large apartment location on the second floor on Station Road in Keswick (the one way part of it) and has a designated parking spot with a private carpark at the back of The George Hotel. The location makes it very easy to access the town centre. The living room and master bedroom are quite frankly enormous and the kitchen is also above average in size and well finished. We had a lovely week at Lords Seat. Plenty of space in the flat for family, wonderful views, great to have walks from the doorstep into hills and down to the lake, without needing to drive anywhere. Good bus service into Keswick too. Amazing garden - wonderful to stroll around, kids loved playing there. A few more teaspoons would have been welcome though. There were only 3, for a flat that sleeps 6 people! Of course that didn't spoil our holiday! This was our second stay at Lords Seat, and I expect we'll be coming again.
The property was exactly what we needed as it was difficult to find a 4 bedroom house in Keswick for a reasonable price. We also liked the option of having twin beds in one of the bedrooms rather than a king-size bed. Parking was a bit tricky but we expected that. The communication from the company was excellent and if we return to Keswick we will book this house again.

I stayed at Skiddaw View for 6 nights mid-August. All instructions for arrival were clear with photographs where necessary e.g. car parking, although the number identifier had fallen off (Keswick Cottages informed). The parking space in the communal car park to the rear of the apartments weirdly had a couple of metal poles either side of the top of the allocated parking space and it was tricky turning into and reversing out of the space without some micro-manoeuvring (and I only have Ford Focus). Plenty of room for 4 adults & an excited Springer spaniel. Great to have a dog friendly garden - not always the case when advertised as such! Lots of walks from the doorstep. Local shop sells delicious cakes to take on walks!

We ended up here very last minute and we loved every minute of the nine nights we stayed here it. It's a great place to stay if you want to be near to Keswick but not necessarly in Keswick. If you've got a big SUV parking can be tricky but our Renault Captur fitted in there fine. It's highly recommended.
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Town house. We chose the Townhouse so all our grown up kids could join us - at one point we had 7 staying plus our labrador Frankie (it's his holiday really ). Fantastic location, so close to the main street. We were celebrating a big anniversary (40th) and combined with glorious sunshine had a brilliant holiday. We had a great week at Elm cottage with all we needed. One bedside lamp did not work even with new bulb. A runner inside the front door would make taking shoes off easier
This was our third visit to Spa Cottages. It is a great base for exploring the Lake District. Parking can be a bit tight, but for the majority of the time we were able to park directly outside the property.
Excellent condition of property, fantastic location, great view. We had a lovely week and relaxing time.
Enjoyed our stay for the third year running. Although an excellent location and ideal getaway. The cottage itself looked a bit tired due to the minor details of the kitchen and shower needing a freshen up
It is a beautiful cottage and very well equipped. There were some lovely additional touches of a welcome pack and dog treats. Communication was good and the location is quiet even in the peak holiday period. It is very close to shops, cafes and the park. Throughly enjoyed the stay and have booked again for next year.
Well presented cottage in the centre of Keswick, ideal for getting to the lakeside, town centre shops and Booths supermarket. Nice big spacious comfortable bed and a lovely walk in shower in the bathroom. All the equipment you would need in the kitchen although the washing machine was extremely noisy and the instructions for the dryer were torn out of the handbook and missing. The Townhouse is located very close to the town centre with plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Lovely Derwent Water with boat trips around the lake only a 15 / 20 minute walk. The house is very spacious with bedrooms and bathrooms spread over 3 floors. We noticed that compared to other locations we have stayed at, this one is right on a busy main road and the front bedrooms can be noisy with traffic early morning and at night. This cottage suited us very well. We have a Fiesta - so that made it easier to navigate the lane and drive!! But having your own parking space was fabulous. The oven is a bit complicated - you need to google it for instructions!! And the freezer is in the cupboard under the stairs - a bit of hide-and-seek to find it!! Apart from that it was great!!
Convenient and quiet location with adjacent parking. Good supply of white goods and other items (washing rack) which helps for a stress free holiday. Some items need urgent updating - mattresses in both bedrooms. We have stayed in the flat for many years and look forward to our time next year.
Great location near to everything you could need but parking is very tight & I smashed the wing mirror. The apartment has everything you need the settee in the main room was comfy, but the chair wasn't & difficult to c the tv sitting there, a squash for 4 adults. The worst thing was the noise from the venue across the way went on until very late at night.
The flat is well presented and in a good location. The welcome packs were a nice touch. Having your own parking space was helpful and it being next to fitz park and the river was nice. We would have liked to have an ironing board and iron. The bed was a little small and the pillows could do with being more firm. But it didn’t ruin our stay. Great stay as before, 3rd time here. Accommodation was lovely, comfy beds, despite the heat the property stayed relatively cool which we and dog appreciated! Good showers and although property can look unappealing from the back when going in it’s great inside. Downsides this time was the workmen starting very early to refurbish the restaurant going underneath, and windows being open due to heat. Would stay again.
The property is very spacious and very well equipped and within 5 minutes walking distance from Keswick town centre. I did want to give this 5 stars all the way through but we did have some issues. The parking space is very tight especially when there are other cars parked at the back, we ended up scracthing the paintwork on our car door trying to access the space, so we ended up using the parking permit for the car park, which is good, providing you can find a space in there. This was our first stay at Coleridge cottage and it won't be our last. All the bedrooms were a good size and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was really well equipped with everything you could need. The living and dining rooms were perfect for relaxing after a day walking the fells as was the sunny outside area. Really enjoyed our stay. This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Roslin, and the views are priceless. I’m pleased to say that my constructive feedback from my last stay was taken on-board, with the garden being tidier and new outdoor furniture. So overall a really enjoyable stay, only criticism is that one of the beds in the small bedroom had stained sheets (although still clean)
Sam's cottage is only a hundred yards from the market square, making the town very accessible by wheelchair and by foot. The beds and seats were comfy. The kitchen well equipped. We had a great week in Keswick, attending the Convention (only five minutes away), visiting the lake, Fitz Park, as well as wandering round the shops. Accessibility to the cottage was good, with wide doorways and a wet room. We really enjoyed our stay in the townhouse. The property was clean, comfortable and spacious. Great location a stones throw from Fitz Park and an easy walk into town. Kitchen was well equipped and bedrooms and living rooms were lovely. We had 6 people and there was plenty of room, only concern would be that is might have felt a bit cramped at full capacity (8 people).
We were very pleased with the property, very good use of space and facilities were first rate. For us the stairs were a bit of a challenge, but that is no criticism of the property of course.
I stayed here for a week in August with my children and grandchildren. The cottage is a short (but pleasant) walk from the centre of Keswick. The accommodation was as described in the advertising with decent-sized bedrooms and kitchen, a dining room with a table comfortably large enough to accommodate us all. Had a fantastic stay at Brandlehow. The location is unbeatable, with stunning views over Derwentwater and direct access to the lake. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing family break. We especially loved spending time in the garden taking in the incredible scenery. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake District.
