What an absolute stunning property this is ! On entry we were met by the most incredible views of the Lakeland fells. Absolutely breathtaking. We loved everything about the house from the gorgeous smell, the furnishings, the decor, the bedrooms & the modern kitchen / dining area. An excellent refurbishment. You couldn't fault this super accomodation. Very clean and comfortable. Lots of thought has obviously been given to every detail. The reclining sofas were much appreciated after a day out. The location is ideal with Booths on the doorstep and town a short walk away. The apartment will certainly be our first choice when we visit Keswick again.
Ruby's Cottage is absolutely lovely and in the most wonderful location. Cosy, welcoming, comfortable & well equipped. I opened the front door and the heating had been set perfectly and lights were on. The welcome pack for my dog was a very nice touch. Views of Blencathra out the back and Clough Head from the bench at the front. Who needs TV! Great walks from the door. Blencathra was amazing and 4 miles into Keswick on a well kept track along the river. Would not hesitate to recommend and plan to return.
Mill House is situated in one of the prettiest and most peaceful parts of Braithwaite. Just across The Puddle (the road to the cottage) is Coledale Beck with its little bridges adorned with flowers. The cottage itself is generously sized, well-appointed and was spotlessly clean. It is light inside and the lounge/dining-room/kitchen is surrounded with windows and lovely views. We were staying at the Eyrie to support one of our family completed 13 Valleys Ultra Run. An adult family of 5 plus three partners. The Eyrie provided 4 good sized bedrooms a comfortable lounge kitchen and dining room. The central location with car parking permits meant we were well placed to come and go to support our runner. The accommodation was perfect the Keswick Cottage staff were lovely thanks for a great stay
Mountain View is the perfect place to stay, the flat is fantastic, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and comes with parking. It’s the ideal location being right in the heart of Keswick, with stunning views and only a short walk to Derwentwater. Keswick Cottages are brilliant, can’t recommend them enough. Easy to book, with brilliant, friendly customer service.

A lovely clean and comfortable cottage just outside the town of Keswick situated in the lovely grounds of the owners neighbouring house but with your own private outdoor area's to relax in. It was well equipped without being cluttered and you can walk down to the lake and into Keswick town via the footpath across the road. (There is no footpath on the road by the cottage but access to the footpath is straight opposite the cottage gateway) This cottage is definitely on our return list.
The house was beautifully presented. It was warm and comfortable and equipped to a high standard. The location is quiet and there are some nice views from the property. Keswick town is a short stroll away. The different floor levels in the hall and the access to the en-suite bedroom down a deep step may cause issues for less mobile people. Also the upper bedrooms do not have a bathroom on the same level, it is down a flight of stairs, which is a bit inconvenient. Fern Cottage was lovely - comfy, cosy and clean. Perfect being a detached property, and the secure garage storage for the bikes was a bonus. Just be careful on the drive - it is steep and low cars may struggle with the hump at the top. We have a reasonably high car and still caught the exhaust with a fully loaded car. That said, it is a lovely property and we will definitely book again.
We spent a very enjoyable five days in Keswick with 45 Eskin Street as our base. The house is clean, spacious, well equipped and in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the centre of town. We particularly appreciated the generous living space (we were four adults), the comfortable beds, the decent kitchen knives and the copious hot water!

Our 4th stay at Skiddaw Skies says it all. We continue to have mixed weather for walking (that's the Lake District for you), but the accommodation is always a constant. The supply of guidebooks, maps and magazines never ceases to amaze and there's plenty of other books and games to keep you occupied if ever you need to stay in. The internet went down intermittently during our week, so Keswick Cottages arranged temporary WIFi until an engineer could visit. My wife and I had a very enjoyable stay at this comfortable and well equipped apartment. The location is right in the heart of Keswick offering easy access to shops and some great places to eat. There’s allocated parking just outside the front door and the bus station is just a couple of minutes walk away, allowing you to get around without having to take the car everywhere. We had one minor issue on arrival, which was dealt with quickly and efficiently by the friendly staff at Keswick Cottages, Would definitely recommend.
We absolutely loved the cottage. Parking was tight but thanks to helpful neighbours next door we managed. Everything was lovely. As elderly ladies it would have been good to have had a loo downstairs, but that can’t be helped. It was handy to be near the town centre. We were able to use our walkers to get around. We found a huge selection of eateries and attractions. Well recommended, but take a small car!
Very central and convenient for the town. Compact and cosy to relax in after a long day. Car park space was handy and just 60 yards away
This is a lovely bungalow with three good-sized bedrooms (and three bathrooms), a great living room with views of the hills and a kitchen with everything you need in it. This was our third stay and standards have not slipped at all. It is convenient for Keswick and the hills round and about and there are several good eating places within walking distance. We had one very minor issue with the house partway through, but Keswick Holidays sent someone within three hours to sort it out - cannot fault their service! We hope to be back again in the near future.

My wife and I, our son in law and two grown up grandchildren had the most fantastic stay at Appletree. My wife and I had the en-suite double room upstairs. Everyone else had their own room and access to two other bathrooms. Plenty of parking space for our cars. Close to the A66 giving easy access to Keswick and all the fells we wanted to reach. The three younger members of the family climbed 21 Wainwrights during our week despite the rain. Excellent space in the garage to let soaking wet gear dry off. We couldn't have asked for more. First time booking through Keswick cottages and rebooked with them before we even returned home!! ….We could not fault anything at all, from the moment we walked in (the best quality diffusers provided scent were amazing) the property was the immaculately clean. My first stay in Fell View and will not be my last. A much needed week of rest and relaxation found me returning to Portinscale and booking again with Keswick Cottages after a gap of several years. I had not stayed in Fell View before and although I only needed one bedroom the fact there was a boot room suitable to put wet things and dogs helped the decision to book it. A beautifully decorated and luxurious apartment in a handy spot right between Keswick town centre and the lake/Hope Park. Good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen and a very useful laundry room and cloakroom. Feels very solid and noise from the street below was minimal even on a Saturday night. Staff at Keswick Cottages could not have been more helpful. I would not hesitate to book with them again and have already recommended Park View to friends.
Ellergill is a lovely property, very well equipped with two spacious reception rooms, a large kitchen with a separate dining room. Situated very centrally and with a parking area round the back of the property which is large enough for 3/4 cars. This was our second time staying here, and it didn’t disappoint.
We had another fabulous stay at Lake View. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. Great views from both living room & balcony & the weather was nice enough to have al fresco breakfasts. The bedrooms are super comfortable & airy with plenty of wardrobe & drawer space. The only issue (a very small one) is the sofa where the seat cushions slip forward so may need looking at. Great walks from the door if you want to stay local which our pooches loved & Keswick is only a short drive away. Noticed the cottage is up for sale so hope the new owner keeps it as a holiday let
Beautiful cottage, our second visit to this property, both of which were really good. Ideally located, very clean with modern facilities. This visit the weather let us down so the garden wasn’t used to its potential. Excellent place , will definitely book again

We stayed at this cottage with our young kids and dog, we wanted something close to the Main Street for walking and this was the ideal location. It was just along from the park, 5 minute walk to the bars and restaurants, and 10-15mins from the lake. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and even provided a little doggy box which was great. We would definitely stay here again
This was very convenient for a group. It was in an ideal location for what we required and it was comfortable and clean. We were concerned about parking but it wasn't an issue at this time of year
Delightful cottage in very convenient position with parking at the front and a terrace overlooking the River Greta and mature beech trees at the back. Set back from the road so quiet. Cherry Garth is a deceptively spacious place to stay and suited our family group perfectly. The secure garden area made it even better. The location is perfect to access Keswick and local area and has a good bus service so hardly used the car. The weather was brilliant which also made it a really good family week. The property was clean and well equipped and we felt Keswick Cottages were an excellent organisation to deal with. Thank you!
Rock Lynn has stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The rooms are large and there is plenty of storage space. Much thought has gone in to the decor. it is situated in a peaceful location a few minutes walk from the centre of the village. There is a bus service to Keswick in one direction and to Cockermouth in the other. The village is well served with a shop and 4 restaurants. It is also ideal for those who enjoy walking the fells. We have stayed in Braithwaite many times and this is one of the best cottages. I gave 4 for location because we found parking the car a little difficult....more

A lovely spacious cottage in a quiet location. Clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We particularly liked the comfortable lounge, the smart kitchen, the big bathroom, the motion sensor lighting and the well maintained garden with it's table and chairs which makes for a nice relaxing sit down after a walk or a day out sightseeing. There are plenty of walks from the doorstep and a number of places to eat within the village itself. Parking was a little tight but we have a large SUV and had no problems. Being so close to the excellent village shop was also a plus.
We stayed in here as a group of 5 middle aged ladies , it was just perfect . The whole place was beautiful decorated with all the essentials from the kitchen to the bathrooms . Close to the town just a short walk . Shops close also to get food and essentials . It was lovely space to come back to at night and sit and chat . Highly recommend . Communication with them was also excellent .
We absolutely loved our stay at Jasmine Cottage. Portinscale has quickly become one of our favourite places, and we were so pleased to find this little gem. The cottage is beautiful, cosy and welcoming, with lovely views and everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Stayed here for a week in order to attend Keswick Convention and the property is in excellent and well maintained condition. We all slept good and well, the layout of all rooms is well thought out too. Its a 15-20 minute walk to Keswick using a footpath that is away from the main road, which is quiet and scenic.
Some appliances had shortcomings, Otherwise very good. TV sound was appalling and the Washer Dryer seemed to be supplied with an instruction book for a slightly different model. I wondered if the exhaust from the dryer vented outside or simply made the whole flat steamy - it seemed to be the latter and the kitchen window was out of reach for opening.
Excellent accommodation. Couldn’t wish for anything else. Well stocked kitchen, lovely lounge area and very comfortable beds. Ideal location for the buses and Booths! A bonus with the parking slot as we didn’t use the car all week. And we were fairly lucky with the weather
We have stayed at this property quite a few times, and as always it is clean, tidy and comfortable with a car parking space too, and within easy reach of the town centre as well as the supermarket and bus station. Would highly recommend.
We had a lovely week at Fairbank, it was perfect for the two of us with our dog. The location is excellent with park opposite, being in the town and lots of walks straight from the cottage. We would definitely return.
We have previously stayed in Park View, one floor below StickleTarn. This was just as good but the stairs could possibly prove a challenge on future visits. Although nothing to do with you, I was appalled at how dirty the pavements of the town were. Overall, an excellent apartment and location
We had a lovely week at Lords Seat. Plenty of space in the flat for family, wonderful views, great to have walks from the doorstep into hills and down to the lake, without needing to drive anywhere. Good bus service into Keswick too. Amazing garden - wonderful to stroll around, kids loved playing there. A few more teaspoons would have been welcome though. There were only 3, for a flat that sleeps 6 people! Of course that didn't spoil our holiday! This was our second stay at Lords Seat, and I expect we'll be coming again.
Excellent location and having a dedicated Car Park slot very convenient. Correspondence pre arrival and all welcome documentation is via an online portal - only downside to this is my phone signal was poor on arrival so couldn't get WIFI details - would be handy to have paper documents in the accommodation or be smart and screenshot everything! Large cupboard door had come off in the kitchen which showed the boiler and an opening to outside - not very appealing - otherwise a quiet, clean apartment with plenty of kitchen utensils / full facilities.
Our second stay at this fabulous house in a great location with just a short walk into Keswick. Very comfortable beds & furnishings & hot tub was well used during our stay. I agree about the Biffa bin outside being a bit of an eyesore. It would be beneficial to the look of the property if the hard standing was tarmaced over so your car was off road. A few niggles but overall a great place to stay.
Lovely apartment on two levels. Spacious with good quality interior and furniture. The apartment was very comfortable especially the king sized bed (though the duvet was very thin and no extra blankets were provided, we borrowed an extra duvet from one of the single beds though so that worked out as there were only two of us). We loved the location, only a few minutes walk into the town or to Fitz Park and the fact that you get a parking space is a major plus point. Skiddaw view is a lovely one bed apartment in a prime location in Keswick with a parking space which is a great bonus. The apartment was spotlessly clean and the bed was so lovely and comfortable. There were a few very minor issues which I reported back to Keswick Cottages and they are being looked into. The apartment itself was ideal for a couple and the kitchen was well stocked if you wanted to cook. After many stays at Millside, we were not disappointed at our recent visit. Small sunny and enclosed outside paved area surrounded by shrubs. Nice to see that there has been a bit of a tidy up of the planted areas. Views of Skiddaw and Barrow. Comfortable leather sofas, and good to have a separate kitchen/dining area. Bedrooms, although small are perfectly adequate with more than ample storage. The main bed is very comfortable, providing a great sleep. We ended up here very last minute and we loved every minute of the nine nights we stayed here it. It's a great place to stay if you want to be near to Keswick but not necessarly in Keswick. If you've got a big SUV parking can be tricky but our Renault Captur fitted in there fine. It's highly recommended.
Lovely cottage, close to amenities and bus connections to Keswick (within walking distance also). We ditched the car and could achieve many wonderful hikes over various fells in the area such as Barrow, Skiddaw and Eel Crag. Used the bus to travel to Buttermere for further hikes. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Town house. We chose the Townhouse so all our grown up kids could join us - at one point we had 7 staying plus our labrador Frankie (it's his holiday really ). Fantastic location, so close to the main street. We were celebrating a big anniversary (40th) and combined with glorious sunshine had a brilliant holiday. Elm Cottage had everything we needed in the kitchen. One bedside lamp was not working. Beds were very comfortable. The only downside was that the house is quite dark inside during the day. Next door to a very good supermarket. Parking was a definite benefit.

Wordsworth House is a good size, certainly big enough for 8 people, but requires some work to bring it up to its potential. The sitting room is lovely, well-furnished and by far the best room in the property. From here it all goes downhill a little and ends up feeling more like a student let than a good quality holiday rental. The kitchen is a good size, but the range, fridges and freezer have all seen better days (one fridge smelt awful) and the dishwasher desperately needs replacing. Well presented cottage in the centre of Keswick, ideal for getting to the lakeside, town centre shops and Booths supermarket. Nice big spacious comfortable bed and a lovely walk in shower in the bathroom. All the equipment you would need in the kitchen although the washing machine was extremely noisy and the instructions for the dryer were torn out of the handbook and missing. Lovely dog friendly property, the location is great. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the living area cosy. The outside space was nice and felt private with the surrounding shrubs and trees. Would have been great if the twin room could have been turned into a double, as adapting to sleeping in a single bed as an adult was a challenge (but that’s just personal preference). The Townhouse is located very close to the town centre with plenty of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk. Lovely Derwent Water with boat trips around the lake only a 15 / 20 minute walk. The house is very spacious with bedrooms and bathrooms spread over 3 floors. We noticed that compared to other locations we have stayed at, this one is right on a busy main road and the front bedrooms can be noisy with traffic early morning and at night. This cottage suited us very well. We have a Fiesta - so that made it easier to navigate the lane and drive!! But having your own parking space was fabulous. The oven is a bit complicated - you need to google it for instructions!! And the freezer is in the cupboard under the stairs - a bit of hide-and-seek to find it!! Apart from that it was great!!
Convenient and quiet location with adjacent parking. Good supply of white goods and other items (washing rack) which helps for a stress free holiday. Some items need urgent updating - mattresses in both bedrooms. We have stayed in the flat for many years and look forward to our time next year.
Amazing apartment, with all you need for a comfortable stay in the perfect location. Excellent quality fixtures and fittings, adds that touch of luxury. So handy for the High Street with private parking.
Good location, plenty of room, nice views, comfortable beds, welcome pack a nice touch. The utility room as you enter is really handy, not only for keeping shoes/boots and wet coats out of the way, but also to clean the dog. If we needed anything, which we didn't, the office is only around the corner. The only downside is access, there are a lot of stairs if you have mobility issues and 4PM is a bit late to be able to access the property.

The apartment itself is in an absolutely great location, a few hundred yards from the main street of Keswick. The flat itself is very small. There were cobwebs in most of the rooms, and paintwork throughout was looking a bit battered, in need of a touch up. The inside walls of the kitchen window need addressing, looks like some damp. The kitchen itself has everything you need and has been well done, but there is no cupboard space for any of your food so we have to have it on the microwave and the side. Perfect location on the most quietest street ever. I can't rave enough about the stunning views. Great garden which was amazing for our dog and totally secure. Loved the gifts for our dog too. Lovely touch. The new sofa in the living room was very cosy. Beds were so comfy. Staff in Keswick Cottages were extremely helpful.
The property is very spacious and very well equipped and within 5 minutes walking distance from Keswick town centre. I did want to give this 5 stars all the way through but we did have some issues. The parking space is very tight especially when there are other cars parked at the back, we ended up scracthing the paintwork on our car door trying to access the space, so we ended up using the parking permit for the car park, which is good, providing you can find a space in there. Roslin was a perfect house for our stay. The lounge was comfortable, the kitchen had all facilities we needed and the views from the house were stunning. The location was ideal for trips into Keswick and also to explore other areas of the Lake District. Two very small issues were sorted very quickly by the team at Keswick Cottages and special thanks to Sarah who came out immediately with her husband on Saturday evening to sort a minor issue with the boiler. A great house with lots of space. Loved the addition of the gym. Good sized rooms, well decorated and well thought out accommodation. Couple of little jobs needed doing but nothing that needed attention whilst we were there. They were more cosmetic and we shared these with the company. Ample parking and lovely garden area. Close to town and local walks so well positioned. Is on a bend so caution needed when driving out. Would definitely recommend to families and groups. Sam's cottage is only a hundred yards from the market square, making the town very accessible by wheelchair and by foot. The beds and seats were comfy. The kitchen well equipped. We had a great week in Keswick, attending the Convention (only five minutes away), visiting the lake, Fitz Park, as well as wandering round the shops. My friends and I loved our stay 6-night stay in “3 The Townhouses”. The location in relation to the town of Keswick was brilliant. The town centre is just a 2-3 min walk away. The house itself was beautifully clean on arrival and a perfect size for the 5 of us. We would definitely return!

Had a fantastic stay at Brandlehow. The location is unbeatable, with stunning views over Derwentwater and direct access to the lake. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing family break. We especially loved spending time in the garden taking in the incredible scenery. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake District.
We found this to be a great property right in the heart of Keswick. It has 3 good size bedrooms, large living / dining area, a well equiped kitchen and even parking for two cars. It is on two floors above the shops so there are plenty of stairs but we didn't find this an issue. Looking forward to our next visit!
Great place for a short break. Loads of space for a two bedroomed apartment and in the heart of Keswick.
Spotlessly clean and brand new condition. Property kitchen/lounge doesn’t have curtains or blinds on most of the windows, and bed mattresses look new but feel springy with no support. So it feels like the property has been furnished a bit cheaply because it is up for sale currently. Shame because it was almost a perfect place to stay.
