Alban Rise is a spacious three bedroom property set over two floors with rooftop views of the Keswick fells, including the Skiddaw mountain range and Catbells.

Stay for 1 week and had no complaints. Very clean, tidy and fitted accommodation. Kitchen has everything you need with plenty of space to relax. Comfortable sleeping with handy black out blinds. Parking directly outside of the property and located within 2 minute walk of the high street. Would recommend

The kitchen has some great features to it like the De Longhi coffee machine (that uses ground coffee). The black out blinds are especially handy for those sunny mornings. We stayed for 1 week in Alban Rise.
There is 1 allocated parking space and the entrance to the property is up a set of external stairs.
The property is above shops and is very close to the centre square of Keswick and the bus station. We were very happy with the facilities in the property and the rooms were large.
The accommodations was clean and the beds were comfortable.

The interior of the property was very spacious and well equipped, and the location was good being minutes from the shops, bars and restaurants in Keswick, as well as being within walking distance of the lake. Other reviews have mentioned this - there are 15 quite steep exterior metal steps up to the property which is on the first floor, which should perhaps be made clearer in the description. Also, the entrance steps are in essentially in an alleyway which was full of rubbish from the restaurants on the ground floor - apparently the week we stayed there was a problem with the bin collections, but despite this, there was rubbish all over the alleyway which remained throughout the week - it didn't give a very good first impression of the property and wasn't great to come home to every evening. Once inside, however, we had no issues.

Very spacious apartment. Clean and well appointed on arrival. In the very centre of Keswick. Some street noise early in the evening but this did not affect our sleep Rain on the skylights in the bedrooms is very loud but again this did not hugely affect us as it was mostly dry during our stay.

One thing to watch out for is there are steep, metal steps leading up to the apartment which isn’t mentioned in the write up and could be an issue for anyone with mobility issues.

All in all a very enjoyable stay. Would recommend to anyone looking for a spacious, central location in Keswick.

Alban Rise is a fitted out with most of the mod cons that anyone could desire from a holiday home rental. Great WiFi. It's shower is powerful. The kitchen has all the features that most people would want. The lounge is very spacious. It is so spacious, that ideally you'd have an even bigger TV, but the TV is at least on a par with what you'd find in other holiday rentals.
The only downside to Alban Rise, is the kerb appeal, with it's outside rather unattractive, and only one parking space available - but this is offset by the quality of the apartment once you are inside.

We loved our stay in Alban Rise. The very spacious and comfortable flat was perfect for the five of us. We all loved the range of books, DVDs, games and toys thoughtfully provided, in particular the table tennis set which was well used set on the dining table. My grandson also loved being able to connect his games console to the Smart TV. The flat was very warm and cosy and we all slept very well in the very comfortable beds. The flat’s location was perfect, right opposite Booths and ideal for shopping or visiting nearby pubs, cafes and restaurants, the climbing wall and the excellent Puzzling Place.
As previous visitors have mentioned you do need to take care on the outside steps as they are uneven heights.
We would all happily stay in Alban Rise again.

This place is a cracker. Central, beautifully furnished, well stocked. Fabulous sofa with lots of living space. Very clean and a fantastic De Longhi coffee machine (uses ground coffee). Warm and welcoming. The only downside is not the apartment but the outside steps in the dark so leave the porch light on if you are going out at night.

Alban Rise is the best of many places is Keswick we have rented over the last decade and more. Comfortable, clean, very spacious, centrally located and with a generously sized dedicated parking bay. Worth noting that it is a 1st floor flat and the stairs from the car park contain one steep step that would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues

Had a great time, great flat and location, very clean and comfy, only issue we had was the outside stairs leading to the flat, the top two stairs were high, and was caught out a couple of times.

Spacious 3 bedroom property in perfect town centre location ….we never moved the car after our arrival.
We were a party of two couples who walked in the day and enjoyed Keswick's pubs and restaurants in the evening….the property suited us perfectly.

Would definitely recommend and return.
