Crandy Nook is a lovely place to stay - warm, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. One of the beds hadn't been made up on arrival but after a quick phone call they sorted it within 10 minutes. Pillows could be a little comfier but that's just personal preference. Great location and parking permits were very handy. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Crandy Nook with a group of 5 and a small dog for 3 nights. We found the accommodation very clean and spacious, arranged over 3 floors with 2 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms. Even the single rooms had queen size beds. The kitchen/living area is at the top floor with stunning views of the hills around Keswick. There is a large TV, wifi and a dishwasher which made our stay very comfortable. I highly recommend this place to stay when you are in Keswick, especially for those who don't mind staircases.

Crandy Nook is a very well equipped flat and has excellent views from the third floor living area. Two of the bedrooms are above a shopping street and we did experience some noise at night. The property was immaculate and well furnished.

It’s on 3 floors after the metal outside steps, but no good for anyone who can’t go up lots of stair steps inside. The place is the best we have stayed in and the bedding and towels are really luxury, The utility room with washer, drier and freezer is there with iron/board, clothes dryers and cleaning stuff is just off the way in. Room there to sit and put boots on and leave bags before you go up. 1st floor has single bedroom, beautiful bathroom and a double bedroom. 2nd floor has 3/4 bedroom, another matching bathroom and another double bedroom. Take a breather, then up to the top floor. Lounge, dining room and kitchen. Good views from lounge window and kitchen. Very well equipped. Enough wine glasses to hold a large party and at least 3 sets of mugs. Be careful with the overhead cupboards as they weigh a ton. The microwave is the only thing that was strange. In a cupboard and a very old model, but it work and a Fridge with small ice compartment. Oh, there is a pod coffee machine there too with some pods to start you off. It’s a very long wait for hot water through out, but it comes eventually.
We had a dry hot week there, so it was a bit hot upstairs, but there were a couple of fans around. If you look out of the lounge window to the left, you can just see Keswick cottages office, which is useful. We had a tv problem that got sorted. Cassa Bella Italian was below us and is excellent. ( best booking). Didn’t get any noise or smells. The parking permit has a number on, but the actual car park doesn’t have numbered spaces. It’s the next ally down the side of the church, through the open gate on your left. We pulled up across the ally around the back of shops and restaurant, which is entrance to apartment, to unload and then parked in the car park. It is possible to back in and unload if you are quick.

We really enjoyed our stay at Crandy Nook. Pleasantly surprised to find we could use a car park around the corner with a permit, so didn’t have any issues with parking.
We loved the top floor of the apartment with the kitchen/lounge/diner. Really comfortable and stunning views.
Perfect location, right in the town centre and just around the corner from Fitz park, which was perfect for our son who loved using the basketball court!

Generally the property was a lovely find and we would be happy to go there again. However it possibly hadn't been used for a while and was very cold to begin with and took sometime to warm up. Unfortunately the cleaner had forgotten to leave a cleaning pack and the tablet to tell us what was what was completely flat but both quickly rectified. It was an induction hob but there were saucepans there that were incompatible with it which was disconcerting.
NB A significant number of stairs which maybe an issue for some and some very heavy cupboard doors that lift upwards and don't lock in place needing to be held open when using the cupboards.

Just returned from 4 days in Keswick staying at Crandy Nook, its the 3rd
time we have stayed there and it is just a fabulous accommodation to stay at, location is fantastic..This property sleeps 7, very spacious bedrooms, 2 fantastic bathrooms with shower cubicles and very large baths which I like to soak in after a good walk or climb. Great views from the living room/ kitchen. The accommodation was very clean and well presented and can't wait to take my family back for another stay at Keswick in this fabulous accommodation, *please note, people with mobility issues there are quite a few steps upto the property then a few flights of stairs.

We wanted to be very central for our visit to Keswick so Crandy Nook was perfect for that. As the property is on 3 floors, you do find you're up and down stairs a lot, so only good for very mobile people and potentially not great if you have young children! There was no soap or toilet roll on our arrival but that was sorted out for us very quickly. I wonder what the house would be like in summer as we found it very warm (despite heating not being on), and we struggled to open some windows.

Crandy Nook certainly has a few stairs within the property and have tried to make the best view from the living room subsequently on the top floor along with the kitchen too! Location is very good for all central Keswick amenities. Good views of the fells from all sides. Surprisingly little street noise aside from fairly early bin collection from adjacent restaurants. Parking arrangements are also excellent and very convenient. The property is on 3 levels so be prepared for a good amount of stair climbing. Everything was very clean and tidy on arrival and the property was reasonably well equipped, perhaps not quite up with one or two Keswick cottage rentals we have used in the past. The entrance to the property is down a short lane that is shared with the back of local restaurants and food outlets. A few of the bins were overflowing with packaging - thankfully no food waste - and made for a somewhat underwhelming first impression. We were aware of the metal staircase that gives access to the property entrance from previous reviews. It didn’t cause us any problems although our small dog was less impressed!! Overall we were happy with the property and enjoyed our stay.

What a treat to stay in the centre of Keswick with such wonderful views.
Lovely property spotlessly clean.
On 3 levels so not for the disabled.
