We originally booked Charterhouse but due to maintenance works required. We were not disappointed. The Spinney is a spacious, stylish and modern lodge providing luxury and comfort. Set in immaculate surroundings, an ideal location to visit the nearby attractions or a perfect way to spend time relaxing.
Amber Lodge was truly outstanding. We loved every single touch in the lodge from the comfort of the sofa, king size bed to the high standard of the kitchen appliances we used everyday. We would definitely highly recommend Amber lodge and stay there again in the future, if not available try the other lodges as they all looked amazing. Definitely a 5 star accommodation. .
Lovely clean lodge, well equipped. Dog friendly with secure wrap around decking. Hot tub amazing! The park encourages no noise pollution and it certainly is a very peaceful park. although we had neighbours we felt we were on our own! We will be back!
We so enjoyed our Pomegranate experience last year that we booked another as we left site. We had been to the annual Wells Food Festival and wanted to go again in October 2024. That was great and even bigger with around 200 stalls. Back to Pomegranate: it is a luxurious lodge decorated in a rich red maroon, with a massive bedroom that swallows the big bed, a dressing room and an enormous bathroom complete with walk in shower and luxurious bathtub. This was our 6th visit to the Park this time with family and our little dog.The lodge is ideal for dogs with its fully enclosed and safe outside space.A comfortable lodge but showing signs of wear and tear, the sofa was uncomfortable and the coffee table had seen better days.Shelves were missing from the fridge door which made storing milk & bottles difficult.The television and controls are not intuitive or responsive and is frustrating to use.We were lucky we had tech savvy people with us! For winter/ wet weather stays there should be a mop left to clean floors especially for week long stays...more
Had a really nice 4 night stay in Cheddar Pink. The layout is perfect and the beds are the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in. The hot tub was made full use of and there were plenty of amenities within the lodge. The only slight complaint was that there was a really damp smell that came from one of the bathrooms meaning we had to keep the window open and the door shut to it to avoid the smell spreading round the lodge and the cleanliness wasn’t as to a high a standard as last time we came. My wife and I stayed here the weekend of our wedding, as we had our reception just next door at the lovely memorial hall, and didn't want far to walk on our first night as newlyweds. The cabin was absolutely beautiful, well presented and warm. Some very nice touches, with milk in the fridge for us.
We had an amazing long weekend at Strawberryfield Park in the Orchard Lodge. It’s a perfect size for a couple and really close to Cheddar to go shopping, exploring and cheese tasting! We especially enjoyed the hot tub which we used every night!
This was our second stay at Strawberry field Park. The first time we stayed at Pomegranate and this time we stayed at Combe Hay. Both lovely lodges but felt that Combe Hay hadn't been completely checked for little things such as the fridge had been turned off at the wall so the milk had gone off by the time we had used it. There was a noticeable hole in the bedroom carpet; one of the blinds was missing in the kitchen which overlooked the driveway and some of the mugs hadn't been washed/cleaned properly so had to put those through the dishwasher again. We had an amazing stay and the lodge was a lot bigger than expected. The beds were really comfortable, the outside decking area had plenty of seating and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Would definitely visit again. The fresh milk and cans of cider on arrival was a very nice touch too.
Third visit with another visit booked. If your looking for a cosy lodge that has everything. Then these lodges are some of the best on offer in somerset. I have booked many lodges other the last 7 years but since my first stay in 2033, I have kepted returning, whether that be with family or friends. Everyone has enjoyed the stay.
On arrival the lodge was immaculately clean, really appreciated all the little extras such as milk, coffee, tea, sugar, dishwasher pods etc. the lodge felt cosy and warm throughout our stay. The hot tub was always at temperature. I loved the starlight canopy at night. I stay in lodges in the Somerset area every year with friends and this lodge was my favourite to date. It definitely felt 5*. The log burner was amazing too. The park is beautiful and all staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful especially the maintenance staff who I stopped to talk to whilst taking a walk around the park. ...more
This was our 2nd stay at Strawberry Fields. The accommodation is stunning and the location is beautiful. The staff were all very helpful and sorted out an outside table for us without any fuss. We will definitely be back next year. I would high recommend booking to anyone.
Lovely place great surroundings well equipped. A perfect stay love the hot tub. Great location for travelling to other attractions and sightseeing. Wells, Glastonbury and Clarks Village outlet for shopping . I would definitely ry
Very impressed with the lodge, I didn’t expect it to be so big and spacious, community and area is very inviting and friendly. My only wish is to have a TV in the bedroom or by the jacuzzi.

Lovely view days here with Hubby. We stayed in Charterhouse 5 years ago and this time Nyland lodge. Both lovely. Nylands terrace and hot tub very private not overlooked. Loved spending the evening relaxing in the hot tub. Great location with Wells a short drive away. Clarks village is great for shopping. Lots of beautiful walks. Will definitely return again.
Me and my boyfriend had a lovely stay at Strawberry Field Park. We stayed in The Levels and we couldn’t fault the lodge! Very clean and tidy, well presented and friendly staff! Would 100% recommend and I’m sure we will be back!
Second visit to Strawberry Field. Would visit again. Lovely lodge, ticks so many boxes and pleases on many. Fabulous hot tub was well used. Kitchen well equipped. Double bed needs a mattress replacement, far from comfortable so my comfort score has to reflect that otherwise would of been fill score.
This is the fourth lodge we have stayed in at Strawberry field park and everything was excellent as ever. We would have liked to have had a shelf in the shower to put our shower gel/shampoo on rather than having to keep them on the floor and although the tv sounded great through the speakers we found that it didn't work very well with netflix and iplayer. The instructions in the welcome pack were misleading. Plus the tv takes a long time to come on and kept switching itself off .
Mulberry Lodge is like an upgraded, top of the range, hotel suite. On arrival I was silenced by the beautiful, modern, spotlessly clean areas & every room had the wow factor. First night we sat in the hot tub looking up at the lights in the ceiling of the outdoor area & it was just magical. The log burner was perfect & a real treat as we don’t have one at home. The kitchen was wonderful, not one thing missing, every item thought out so carefully. The bathroom was so luxurious with underfloor heating which was just perfect. Booked for my 40th birthday and we had a great time, the cabin was spotless and location all fab too.
Great stay at The Retreat Strawberry Field …excellent lodge with everything you could need. Purchased the BBQ meat pack which was good value for money . Bottle of wine water & biscuits left in the lodge which was a nice touch …..only criticisms ……guest information folder was comprehensive but did not have instructions on how to use the TV which we found complicated …outside area needs cleaning & when going again would choose a lodge on the Orchard side of the park due to road noise on the Avenue
