This was our third stay and everything was as exceptional as usual. Love the accommodation and love the staff. You have everything you need and more. We will be back for a fourth time.
We've had a lovely and relaxing week's stay in The Willows at Strawberryfield Park. The park is kept immaculate with an orchard area where dogs can be walked. The lodge was very clean, with beds made up and all you need for a great stay. Hot tub makes the whole experience feel like luxury, with robes provided to use too. This is our fourth visit, and we've already booked again for next - would fully recommend.
We had a lovely relaxing holiday in the pomegranate lodge,we went in to cheddar every day then the hot tub at night, not before popping into the cider barn first,we couldn’t fault the lodge or strawberry fields
We cannot fault the lodge at all it was immaculate, the hot tub was cleaned every morning discreetly and the whole park offered a nice surrounding for a short stay being only 2 minutes down the road in to cheddar gorge. We would certainly book here again if we were in the area!
My friend Sue and I have stayed at Strawberry Fields about 6 times now. We really enjoy the peace and quiet. We were both brought up in and around Weston Super Mare so we have friends and family to see. It’s always a busy week and we appreciate the hot tub when we return from our days out.
The park is an essential part of our annual holiday planning and we try to come twice a year if possible, working our way round the park. Honeyhurst is angled just right for the sun. Early morning the sun is on the breakfast mini patio beside the kitchen, then it works its way round to set at the far end of the deck next to the Tub. We had 7 days of sun so did very little other than sunbathe and dip in the tub twice a day. It is very well furnished, but we found the sofa to be uncomfortable and too low to get in and out easily. We also now bring our own lounger cushions for the wooden deck lou...more
Private, cosy, lovely little touches to the lodge, great decking area at Peppers Lodge and not overlooked at all, perfect for sunbathing. Very quiet, was lovely
Perfectly spacious and stylish, the lodge is an excellent choice for anyone looking to unwind and relax. Very well appointed with thoughtful touches throughout, the tasteful decor and furnishings are well suited to the ambience. The bathroom, with direct access to the deck, is superb! We had a great stay and would book again. Thank you.
We have just returned from our 2nd visit to Strawberry Field lodges. We booked almost immediately after spending the same 5 days at the non-dog friendly lodge (Batcombe) last year. The standard of the lodge brought us back. On arrival it was a similar experience, very pleased and we were familar with the protocols so we got into the hot tub as soon as we could unpack. Several great days enjoying the now familiar local places. *however* !!! We got back early for our last afternoon wanting to enjoy the lovely and unexpected weather .... what did we return to? A massive slow burning bonfir...more
This was our second visit to Strawberry Field Park and the experience was just as good as the first. Our lodge was outstanding and equipped with everything we needed. All of our party agreed that the beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept in! We certainly appreciated the gifts we received on arrival, this was such a thoughtful touch. The lodges were within easy distance of both Cheddar and Wells and the information folder that was in the lodge contained an abundance of additional information regarding walks, restaurants and sightseeing. The Cider Barn at the Park entrance is...more
We have visited this park numerous times over the past few years. Staying in Mulberry, Deer Leap, Nyland, The Sleights & Pamela’s Meadow. We love the huge corner sofa & log burner in Pamela’s Meadow. So cosy for the winter. All the lodges are beautiful inside, furnished to a high standard and the best equipped lodges we have visited. I’m sure we will be back in 2025!
Arrived in need of a relaxing few days and it ticked all the boxes. Welcome pack was helpful with standard content though some fresh produce would have been nice. Nesspreso coffee machine was great but would have been helpful to know the pod type before arrival. Furnishings etc were good and comfortable. Bottle of water in each room was nice touch but supplied toiletries not 5*. Hot tub was fantastic and loved the covered outdoor seating area with twinkling star lights above sitting there with a blanket and hot chocolate in the evening. Site was peaceful and more private than most. Wou...more
We’ve stayed in several lodges & Batcombe was probably our favourite. The lodge is very comfortable and the deck is large getting lots of sunshine. We had a small issue with the kitchen sink, but had staff out to sort it as soon as we reported it. Highly recommend.
Clean, comfortable accommodation in an excellent location. We stayed in Diamond Lodge previously and will happily book again in the future.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was lovely and clean and everything was very well presented. We would really recommend staying here.
We had a lovely time at Strawberryfield Park. The lodge we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our short break. The hot tub and decked area were also great, we visited in Feb but it would be perfect for sitting out in warmer weather. A secure area to let dogs off the lead safely or a small area of enclosed grass attached to the lodge would have been great. The park itself is small and quiet which we liked with the Cider Barn being a great place to go for a drink and food. The atmosphere was friendly and we were made to feel so welcome with our dog. We had pizza...more
The Levels is a lovely lodge, spacious and very comfortable. Fully equipped and well maintained it was everything we needed for our stay. The park is very private and an ideal place to use as a base for visiting local attractions.
our stay was short but staying in this place gave us a proper rest. This place is great and worth visiting. Our Lodge was wonderful. I RECOMMEND
Everything was lovely and amazing, we loved our 4 nights stay at Chaterhouse and the highlight of the stay was the hot tub, views and the peaceful atmosphere . We had a great welcome on the site and the service provided when we required help with the tv and speaker system was brilliant. We had a complimentary welcome pack waiting for us in our lodge, which was lovely. All the rooms were very spacious and very clean. We were provided with all the kitchen appliances to use and including the clutery, plates, pots, pans, glasses, cups, oven trays, chopping boards complimentary biscuits, tea...more
Amazing weekend at strawberry fields. We stayed in while away lodge, the only thing I can say bad is the pillows are very uncomfortable everything else was perfect
Strawberry Fields is located a 5minute drive from the heart of Cheddar Gorge. The Cedar Lodge was spacious and clean with modern facilities and easy access. The bedrooms are only fitted with blinds and can be quite light in the morning, a suggestion could be to invest in black blinds or curtains. The complimentary gifts were a nice touch. The information book provided was useful. A great base for exploring Cheddar and the local area.
Lovely Lodge in a quiet location very close to loads of interesting places. Lodge was clean, tidy, superbly equipped and very well maintained. The hot tub alone was worth the visit. Couldn't fault it in any way and would thoroughly recommend.
The Sleights is furnished to a very high standard and loved the hot tub. The mattresses are super comfortable and the en suites very spacious. The added touches such as robes for the hot tub really made our stay. I would highly recommend Spice Cottage in nearby Cheddar, does a great Indian takeaway. Bath is a 40 minute drive away, well worth a visit, went to the famous Roman Baths. I would highly recommend Strawberryfield Park and I will definitely return in the future.
Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children age 13 and 9) had a great 2 night stay at The Retreat to celebrate my husband's 50th. It was spotlessly clean, nicely furnished, and very well equipped - we felt very at home! The wood burner made it very cosy (remember to bring matches/firelighters/kindling/logs - we forgot and had to dash to the shop!) and once the heating kicked in the lodge was very cosy and warm during a freezing spell in January. The cold weather didn't stop us using the hot tub though - which was a huge hit with all of us, especially the kids! Bath robes and extra towels provided...more
