We had a wonderful break at the Spinney. The accommodation was spacious and of a very high standard. It felt very private and was very peaceful. The bottles of water, milk and cider were a thoughtful touch! I have no hesitation in recommending it and hope to return some day.
The park was well situated for travelling to great tourist spots - lodge furnished to a very high standard and whilst other lodges nearby planting and siting of the lodges made it very private. Only areas that I would comment on for improvement was the hedge needed to be cut back to give a better view of the hills and perhaps more crockery and cutlery to make more efficient use of the dishwasher - apart from that a fab stay and will definitely be back.
This was our second visit to Strawberryfield park and again it didn't disappoint. The lodge was superb, well equipped and comfortable, we didn't want to leave!
Lovely cabin, has everything you need for a self catering holiday. It was great to have the hot tub, used every night by husband and grandson. Location ideal for site seeing, furthest we traveled was Lyme Regis but still only an hour and a half away. A visit to the Cider Barn is a must.
This was our second time to Strawberry Fields and we stayed in Cheddar Pink lodge, which was amazing! The lodge was very spacious which added to the wow factor. The quality of the appliances, bedding and towels made it feel like a luxurious stay and the added complimentary treats was an added bonus making it feel that extra thought had been put into our stay. We will definitely be returning to Strawberry Fields and would highly recommend this to people who like a break with added luxury at the same time.
second visit to honeyhurst stunning location. fantastic accomodation as it always is. already booked for october. fully intend to return in 2026.
We returned to the same lodge we stayed in back in 2018, we loved it so much then we wanted the same again, it certainly didn’t disappoint! We had a fantastic family break in Peppers and couldn’t have asked for a better stay, family also stayed in Sleights opposite at the same time and it was great to have them close but still have our own privacy if we wanted. The lodge was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It comfortably sleeps four in the 2 bedrooms and was perfect for our little family. The highlight for all of us was definitely...more
My sister and I had a wonderful time staying in Orchard Lodge. It was so peaceful and the perfect place for us to catch up and spend time together relaxing away from the pressures of modern life. The facilities were amazing and we appreciated touches like the bottled milk and cans of cider in the fridge which we weren’t expecting at all. The lodge had everything we could think of that we could possibly need and more from a self catering perspective. We are left with extremely fond memories of our stay and are pleased that we picked Strawberryfield Park as our accommodation.
We stayed in Combe Hay for a long weekend and it was fantastic. The hot tub was fantastic and we had great weather. The lodge was immaculate and had no problems at all to mention. The site is peaceful and quiet and the grounds are immaculate. There is a little shack type bar called the Cider Barn, which was great. You have to pass the Barn to get onto our part of the site which was the right fork but we found that on 2 occasions (saturday and sunday) the cars visiting the Cider Barn made it very difficult to drive passed altho the shack has an overflow car park and the patrons just didnt u...more
We have just enjoyed another wonderful stay at StrawberryFields Park on our 3rd visit. It’s a lovely park which is so central to everything we wanted to do. I just want to say how grateful we are for what turned out to be a bit of a nightmare last day. So my cars brakes had gone and I had booked in a mobile mechanic to come and fix the problem first thing Friday morning. Unfortunately that didn’t happen and the RAC didn’t turn up until 11:30 in the morning. Check out time was 10am and the whole team were so accommodating and kind they let us stay in the lodge until the repairs...more
Our lodge was lovely and clean, the cleanest place I have stayed in this country. Fantastic views and a great base for visiting areas of interest, right next to cheddar gorge. Hot tub was an added bonus, lovely under the
We’ve stayed in several lodges & Batcombe was probably our favourite. The lodge is very comfortable and the deck is large getting lots of sunshine. We had a small issue with the kitchen sink, but had staff out to sort it as soon as we reported it. Highly recommend.
First impressions not great, cleanliness’s was awful. Don’t really now what to say other than disappointed. Would not recommend
This is my fourth visit to strawberry fields and my first to diamond lodge … what perfected our stay was the outside space and designated chill out areas. a wooden veranda that wraps around the lodge giving sunbathing /eating/ coffee morning area to relax and of course the hot tub ! Secluded , quiet … nothing was too much trouble for the team with the small issues we had . Just perfect looking forward to visit no 5 in the autumn / winter …
Lovely relaxing site , very clean & homely lodges well equipped & stylish . Would definitely go again .
This was our second stay at the levels. It did not disapoint. Pure luxury. Staff are around but leave you to it. Draycott is beautiful. We bought strawberries from Warren farm. Had an ale from the brewery. Can't wait to stay again.
We really enjoyed our stay. It was lovely and clean and everything was very well presented. We would really recommend staying here.
Beautiful lodges and lovely stay everything you need for a relaxing stay very clean and comfortable. Stayed many of times before and looking forward to staying again. Hot tub lovely and clean. Plenty of outside seating. Lovely bathroom and bed ..
The Lodge is very comfortable. We all really liked it. The staff of Strawberryfield Park are very helpful and attentive. There were a couple of small niggles that they responded to promptly.
Everything was lovely and amazing, we loved our 4 nights stay at Chaterhouse and the highlight of the stay was the hot tub, views and the peaceful atmosphere . We had a great welcome on the site and the service provided when we required help with the tv and speaker system was brilliant. We had a complimentary welcome pack waiting for us in our lodge, which was lovely. All the rooms were very spacious and very clean. We were provided with all the kitchen appliances to use and including the clutery, plates, pots, pans, glasses, cups, oven trays, chopping boards complimentary biscuits, tea...more
This was our fourth stay in Cedar Lodge. As you might expect we are very happy to book this lodge for a lovely week visiting our family who live in Draycott. Cedar Lodge is well appointed and contains everything you need for a great vacation. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen if you want to self cater plus there are a number of local restaurants in Cheddar to pick from if you want to have take-aways. Plenty of room with double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The Community Shop in Draycott is only 10 minutes walk away if you need some forgotten supplies! The Rodney Stoke Inn is well worth a visi...more
Lovely Lodge in a quiet location very close to loads of interesting places. Lodge was clean, tidy, superbly equipped and very well maintained. The hot tub alone was worth the visit. Couldn't fault it in any way and would thoroughly recommend.
The Sleights is furnished to a very high standard and loved the hot tub. The mattresses are super comfortable and the en suites very spacious. The added touches such as robes for the hot tub really made our stay. I would highly recommend Spice Cottage in nearby Cheddar, does a great Indian takeaway. Bath is a 40 minute drive away, well worth a visit, went to the famous Roman Baths. I would highly recommend Strawberryfield Park and I will definitely return in the future.
The staff were super helpful and friendly. The lodge and hot tub were both immaculately clean on arrival. The lodge was largely great and well appointed but... almost no windows and so impossible to ventilate. There are lots of what look like floor to ceiling windows but they are actually doors. The ones that face the drive have a 2 foot drop below them so we couldn't open those at all as we have young children. None of the doors have a tilt and lean function. So there is no way to safely have some air flow through the lodge at night or when you are out. There is one small widow in the family ...more
