...Enjoyed a short break at Pheasants Walk. The accommodation was clean and tidy with an uncomplicated layout. Everything you needed for your stay was to hand. It was the perfect base to stay with your dog. Very dog friendly and It was great to see that your dogs needs were considered by providing dog bowl and a generous jar of dog biscuits , blankets, towels and dog tags! The welcome pack was for humans was appreciated too! There are lots of walks in around the Estate ,but if you wish to venture further afield and do some hill walking the long mind is a short 10-15 minute drive. There are sp...more

We have stayed at the family run Eaton Manor Estate on many occasions now and have always found the standard excellent. Nothing is too much trouble for their team.
We had a great 4 nights over New Year at Eaton Manor . The accommodation is very good with ample facilities on had. A very well equipped kitchen and we stayed in and cooked every evening. The lounge was very relaxing and he dining room was great to sit around eating and chatting. We ranged in age from 23 - 62 and there were 10 of us in total. We all felt immediately at home and the bedrooms were very cosy - the en suite for every bedroom was brilliant. Would highly recommend staying here. We found some great walks and there is plenty to do around the area to fill a full week- we have lots mor...more
Stopped at woodpecker way twice now, very comfy, well stocked kitchen, good welcome goodies. Weather was awful but enjoyed the peace and quiet and had a lovely rest, nice views. Only negative is the cost in winter months are expensive not much reduction in price in comparison to summer.
We spent a fabulous weekend in December at Toad Hall and Curlew Cottage in Eaton Manor. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from the curry supper that was dropped off on Friday evening to the private chef who cooked a gorgeous 3-course meal on Saturday evening, and then washed and put away every pot and pan afterward! The accommodation was immaculate and so comfortable. Even though there were 14 in our party (all work colleagues) we never once felt like we were on top of one another, there was always plenty of space for all of us. We really enjoyed going on a local walk and made good use of t...more
As we all live away from each other, in another country too, this was the ideal place for us to get together over Christmas. We couldn’t have been made any more welcome. The cottage was lit up and cozy warm with everything laid out ready for afternoon tea, including homemade mince pies. My little 3 year old nephew had a Christmas present from Santa waiting there too! It’s a beautiful cottage with absolutely everything you need to feel thoroughly at home. There are en-suites in each bedroom along with your own tv in each too. There was fresh milk and even a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. ...more
We very much enjoyed our week long Christmas holiday at 'Great Western'. Upon arrival the property was fully prepared by the housekeeping team including a beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the large lounge, mince pies and a bottle of wine! The rooms were fully made up with high quality bedding, all we had to do was unpack. 'Great Western' is a lovely property comfortably sleeping 6 adults and two children and with space for 10 to eat comfortably on Christmas & Boxing Day when nearby relatives came over. There is so much space at this property that nobody falls over themselves! We atte...more
Pendennis Cottage is well suited to people with a disability. We had four full time and one partial wheelchair user. The long range archery centre proved an ideal training for head to head training of Para Archers and Able bodied archers. We received a warm welcome on arrival and throughout our weekend stay from Nicola and her smiling team. I look forward to out second weekend at the Manor in February 2020. Gary
