We stayed in the Garden Cottage. A lovely and quirky cottage that was predominantly open plan. Two bedrooms and each had their own bathroom. We were able to park right outside (two cars) and you could easily have for another one. We had a small dog who managed to escape the garden for a few minutes. The owners, who are both really lovely, rectified immediately. The area is very picturesque. Lots of walks available including around Church Stretton and Cardingmill Valley NT (stunning walks and views here). Great location for walks in surrounding countryside- glad we had good weather so we didn’t need to spend too much time in the accommodation as it was in need of a full makeover very tired and dated but very clean nonetheless.
Our 2nd visit to Eaton Manor and would definitely recommend a stay. Nicola and her team are great hosts even taking some of our group out on a walk. The location and facilities of the entire estate are excellent and we hope to return again in 2027?
I cannot recommend Eaton Manor Country Estate highly enough. There is a range of different holiday cottages available. We have stayed in both The Manor House and Toad Hall now. Nichola and Abi could not be more helpful or accommodating when I booked. Nothing is too much trouble. Both properties have been immaculate upon arrival and are well equipped. The addition of the hot tubs is very much appreciated and the gardens attached to the properties are lovely. There is also a croquet lawn available. We have particularly enjoyed the Games Room and look forward to using the swimming pool ...more
We booked Pendennis for a family weekend - eight adults plus five dogs of varying sizes - and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view from the living room window, was spectacular and the cottage was spacious and extremely comfortable, giving us all a chance to properly relax. We cooked all our own meals and found the kitchen very well equipped and with more than enough space in the dining area to sit down together to eat. The enclosed garden was perfect for the dogs and there were numerous beautiful walks from the doorstep. An excellent weekend and one of our all time favourites!
We had a wonderful break away at Curlew Cottage. Our 4 boys ranging from 18 to 9 just loved the games barn and i enjoyed some chill out time in the hot tub listening to the birds in the garden. We enjoyed a sunny walk and saw Deer for the first time! Church Stretton is really handy only 10 mins away for a lovely pub meal. We will definately be back! Thankyou Nikki
We had a lovely, relaxing break. The cottage was great, the kitchen was well equipped and the bed was so comfortable. The setting is so quiet and away from it all, you can feel any stress melt away. It's a short drive to Church Stretton where you can stock up on supplies. A beautiful setting for a tranquil break.
We really enjoyed our time at Eaton Manor. Great Western Lodge was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The grounds are beautiful and the location perfect for some peace and quiet but also only a short drive from the local town. Would definitely stay here again.
