An idyllic place. Beautiful setting and lovely furnishings a fittings. The wood fired hot tubs are great. Lots of thoughtful additions
Great location, great customer service. 1st time we've stayed in a yurt and happily surprised at how comfortable and spacious it was. (Free) Parking very easy, facilities great, including restaurant which we had excellent breakfasts (best granola I've ever had). The staff were brilliant, thank you all at the garlic farm - Jurgen and Jane Gainz, West Sussex
Little Mersley Farmhouse was an incredible find. Booking made very easy with Melanie who was a delight to meet during our stay. Very pretty house set in lovely countryside. Easy access to all parts of the island being central. House very clean and extremely well equipped. Loved the garlic farm shop. Breakfast in the restaurant on our last day we all said was the “best full english we had ever had”. We were fortunate to have amazing weather for the time of year which meant we could enjoy the island to the full. Highly recommend the garlic farm.
The garlic farm is a good location and a peaceful haven on the island. The yurts are great, well equipped and comfortable.
Good food, all facilities, including lovely sauna and table tennis. Extremely friendly and helpful Staff. Quiet surroundings of nature, lots of green and flowers. Will be returning for more!
We absolutely loved our stay in Yurt Eric at the Garlic Farm. We've visited the farm tons before but never stayed, and we're so glad we did. Our kids absolutely loved the Yurts and the facilities were amazing. We lucked out with the weather so made the most of the BBQ / tennis courts etc. We will definitely be coming back!
Six of us stayed in Mill Cottage and had a wonderful time. The house was lovely and warm and well equipped. We loved the shop and tasted almost everything (and bought some too!) We would definitely book to stay again when we come to the Island. Thanks to all the Boswells.
We have just returned from a 5 day break at Paddock cottage. The accomodation was lovely and clean and well equipped for our stay. It was really nice to have the private little garden to sit out in, a red squirrel visited s couple of times during our visit. The option to eat at the restaurant or coffee shop was great, the garlic shop stocked milk and a few provisions although obviously garlic themed. We may have missed this in the recycling?but we did think a crate for empty milk bottles would have been good to complete the recycling journey. I know our milkman likes his bottles back. C...more
Stayed at the Garlic farm many times but this is the first time in the Yurts. we loved it and can't wait to book again.
We stayed as a family with our children (9,6 and 18 months) and dog, and came as part of a larger group using a total of 3 cottages. The accommodation was beautiful with everything we needed. It was very quiet, and when in either garden felt like nobody was around. Beds were comfy, and a travel cot was provided, alongside a fan in each bedroom. The complementary garlic farm products were an amazing extra touch! The resident farm dog Ruthie was very friendly and the children looked forward to seeing her each day. Very comfortable accommodation and friendly hosts. Suited our needs perfectly. Only small issues that would take very little work to rectify, for example the shared bathroom door was sticky and very noisy when used at night. The view from the settees out of the front door was beautiful. Good location as fairly central to the island and, in the evening and overnight a very quiet and peaceaful location. Would definitely book again as the whole family enjoyed the stay. Grandchildren already planning next year.
This is the 3rd time we have stayed on the garlic farm and this cottage is now our favourite ( we also loved the other 2 as well!). Everything was clean and well stocked. The courtyard and garden were a delight for morning coffee and evening drinks. We will be back! Thanks.
