We have seven beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages and four luxury yurts sleeping between two and ten people located in the immediate area around the Garlic Farm. A tennis court, football pitch and games room are available exclusively for our guests. All our properties are equipped with free WIFI. We can book discounted ferry crossings on all routes. We also welcome dogs to the farm and each cottage has its own enclosed garden space. We are ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle. There is a private fishing lake 1/2 a mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car.
The cottages can also be booked together for group accommodation of up to 45 people.
This really was a perfect escape from Parisian life. An excellent location with all the facilities of the Garlic Farm available. Peaceful and relaxing. The Yurt and Communal area were equipped superbly, and the hot tub, firepit and hammock were a real treat. We will fully recommend and we will be back. Thank you.
My now husband and I stayed here for a few nights for our wedding and my family in one of the cottages. Honestly it's such a perfect place with the most wonderful communal area for BBQ, campfires, dining, bar area and games space too. The whole place was so clean and very well maintained and just made everything so unbelievably perfect. We cannot thank the Garlic Farm enough for having such a wonderful business and places to stay. Plus you're all simply wonderful people too!! Will defo be staying again. We LOVED IT!!!!!!!!
Little Mersley Farmhouse was an incredible find. Booking made very easy with Melanie who was a delight to meet during our stay. Very pretty house set in lovely countryside. Easy access to all parts of the island being central. House very clean and extremely well equipped.
Loved the garlic farm shop. Breakfast in the restaurant on our last day we all said was the “best full english we had ever had”.
We were fortunate to have amazing weather for the time of year which meant we could enjoy the island to the full. Highly recommend the garlic farm.
We have visited the garlic farm before for lunch so decided to try the accomodation. Farmhouse cottage is ideal for a couple with everything you need for a short break.
The owners live in the house next door and are very friendly.
The only major issue for us was that there isn’t very much phone reception and the WiFi connection was intermittent which made it difficult to keep in touch with friends and family
After staying in yurt Eric we fully enjoyed our stay, family of 3 with a 4 year old girl who absolutely loved it, everything we needed was there and on hand, very quite, peaceful and relaxing the only small issue was the bathroom door got jammed when opening which little one had a little incident with. But overall great stay
Mill Cottage is a wonderful, quiet retreat. We had a great few days staying there. It was comfortable and well equipped, it is also in a central location on the island making it easy to explore. We would love to stay again.
The cottage had everything I needed and expected and everything worked well although the lounge area was just a little tired.
Great spot for exploring the island and the facilities on the farm are really good.
We loved our mini break in Yurt Otto. The valley location is very pleasing. The Yurt is well appointed with all possible needs considered. The bed was very comfortable and large. Just a small negative was the sound of traffic from the nearby road. We attempted the garlic farm walk but it was very overgrown and we had to turn back. The restaurant is always a treat and I think we will make a return visit for sure.
We had a fantastic weekend stay at The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight. The accommodation and facilities were superb, with everything thoughtfully provided to make our stay comfortable and relaxing.
One of our favourite things was simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings – sitting out the front with a cup of tea in the morning sunshine and then unwinding in the evening with a glass of wine in the garden as the sun went down. It was the perfect place to switch off and recharge.
We also had breakfast at the farm, which was absolutely lovely. The food was delicious, fresh, and a great way...more
The TV internet connection was no existent for Smart TV applications e.g. Netflix, Amazon etc. they kept locking up and was frustrating.
We could not shut the gate so the dog had to be on the lead all the time was a bit of a fag.
Very handy for going for breakfast in the morning and lunch or dinner without getting in the car, that was really good.
It would have been nice if the was somebody on site as a contact if you had any issues, that wasn’t clear if there was someone.
