Characterful and spacious yurt, thoughtfully designed and in a secluded spot. The Garlic Farm features many lovely elements including an on-site restaurant, extensive food shop, café and games room for residence as well as a tennis court. Highly recommended getaway.
I only have a positive view of our weekend stay! The yurt was lovely and clean, location great well kept, staff friendly and easy to contact if needed. The only thing that could have improved it for me would be having a squeegee to use on the wetroom floor so it's not left wet for the next user. We stayed on November and lit the fire in the evening. Yurts' insulation is great and we didn't get cold, just nippy in the mornings, as you'd expect. We definately plan to return on a family holiday and bring more people with us.
Little Mersley Farmhouse was an incredible find. Booking made very easy with Melanie who was a delight to meet during our stay. Very pretty house set in lovely countryside. Easy access to all parts of the island being central. House very clean and extremely well equipped. Loved the garlic farm shop. Breakfast in the restaurant on our last day we all said was the “best full english we had ever had”. We were fortunate to have amazing weather for the time of year which meant we could enjoy the island to the full. Highly recommend the garlic farm.
We returned to the Garlic Farm after 4 years; our 11 & 13yo boys didn’t want to leave the farm (despite go-karting on offer, and loads of things to do on the isle). Everything you need provided in the yurt, and we were in the hot tub 3 times a day. A lovely restful break from big city life.
We live on the Island, and have visited the farm for food or to eat. So, imagine our surprise to find the beautiful location of the cottage in the middle of the farm. It was private and peaceful, but yet was a stones walk to the restaurant, the shop, and more importantly the Sauna which I would highly recommend. The owners are lovely, and will do anything for you. They make sure through out your visit that you have everything you need, and won't hesitate to cover anything that isn't. Had a great time away, yurt was lovely, not stayed in one before so not sure what to expect. so really pleased it was much better than a wooden pod. Nice touch with home grown flowers and we even saw squirrels, would of loved to try the hammock but a bit wet, so that will be for next time. It's really helpful having the milk and fire made up so you can get on with enjoying the quiet, thank you for the lovely touches

We stayed at the Garlic Farm accommodation unit 2 years ago and thought it would be a good to re-visit a little earlier in the season to get the benefits of Spring; an inspired decision to see the seasonal difference on the farm. Having such a good accommodation option next to a country farm shop and restaurant makes relaxation simple; we will return.
We had a lovely week at the Garlic Farm, staying in one of the Yurts (Otto). Our kids (both 6 yrs) loved sleeping on the platform. Otto was cosy, clean and had everything we needed. The Garlic Farm is lovely and we really appreciated being able to access the Red Squirrel cycling trail via the farm. The kids only had to cycle on the road for 150m to make it to the trail - a real boon for younger less confident cyclists.

Lovely comfy stay. Excellent valley location with plenty of wildlife. Shops and pubs close by, and 10 minutes to nearest beach. Well stocked garlic shop and a restaurant on site.
Beautiful setting and good facilities. Would stay again and recommend .
